Speaker 1 (00:00):
What'd up though.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
It's been if uh an opposing player asked you what
it's like to be in Seattle, what the culture is
like here in that locker room, how would you describe it?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I don't know. I just say it's different.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Uh you already you know you're kind of far away
from everybody, But our coaching that lot of room is like.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
We just stayed together. It's a brotherhood in there. You know,
we have fun and we kicked with each other.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
So is any different this year than it was last year?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
I think we just becoming a lot closer this year,
and then we just continue to build on what we
did last year.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
So speaking of fun, you come out to that, you're dancing,
You're bringing energy out there, You're treating the jots pretty sercotusly.
Just your thoughts of bringing that energy out there.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah, I'm just being me every day. That's all that is.
Aquand Dad. My teammates expect me to be myself, So
that's why I'm gonna.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Be How much different does this feel last year?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Year?

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Y'all learning their defense, so we staff always.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Coming to be How much difference does it del Uh? Different?
I wanna say it's different.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I just think we were getting a little bit more
better with the the coverages in the system that coach
might run it. Now we just tryna add our own
little flavor to it so we can just disguise it
al how we want to now because we already know
the calls and and how we gonna adjust.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
So is we getting better with the coverage?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Is that familiarity with the playbook now so you can
play faster?

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Is that why that is? Now?

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Did you getting better?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Yeah? We just tryna build on what we did last year.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
So and then it turns up the practices and is
this Jared said that there's some attention at it from
the coaches that they're, you know, trying to get you
guys to move faster.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Do you noticing that or not? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I mean we just got to practice that at a
high tempo sometimes, you know, so we could be in
shape when the season come so we.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Can we ain't have to rotate guys and you need
if we do, we gonna be ready. So yeah, then
you told us last year the one of your first
got goals was to play Diverget what what about this year?
What do you want to do this?

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Uh? Now, we just gotta build on, we tryna make
the playoffs and then we just tryna continue to go
from there.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
So when you look at the TV you got right
now on offensive defense, what what what makes it confident
that you could be a little sick and do you make.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
The playoffs or go about what you're going to fast?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Us being together and just we we set the standard
for ourselves and then we all we hold everybody to it.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
So I believe every one of those guys in.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
The locker room know what we're trying to do and
know what we're trying to build, and I think everybody's
buying in.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
So what's your first impressions of min War you getting
to know?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
And yeah, Nit, that's my boy. He got a lot
of he had a lot to learn. But yeah, I
think he gonna be real good for us, Like he
gonna obviously his size and his speed, but his ball knowledge,
Like he a smart kid. So I think he gonna
catch on to this defense very easy. And then once
he do it, once he get comfortable doing it, I
think is busicly gonna there's no limit for him.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
So aside from having this playbook for a second year,
how much does it benefit you that there's a lot
of continuity in the secondary year three for you having
Julian there.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Kobe there, uh, Josh job now back for a second season.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
How much does that continuity help with the coverages and
being able to play faster with this Yeah, we could rotate,
We can line up anywhere, and then we could play
any coverage with those guys, like you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Like, like I said, we just been on what we
did last year.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
We know the playbook now, so now we just add
little flavor to it so that those guys who were.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Thirtieth in the league and yards loved per game two
years ago jumped up the fourteenth last year. What is
the potential for the Steam this year or goals or
top five, top ten?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah, definitely got to build on. We chasing them to
be the number one defense in the league. So that's
what it's going.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
What does it mean that's earily in your career already
be ranked most of the top see offs Copie pig.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Uh, It mean mean a lot to me. It's a
very honorable thing. But now I'm just trying to continue
to build. Like I say, it was only after two years,
so it's a lot. I still have a lot to
prove and a lot to do. So I'm just trying
to build on that.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Definitely.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
When you hear that, uh some Vegas as you guys
it's seven seven eight wins. Uh, what do you guys
think about that?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
When you hear about in the longer, we'll pay attention
to what Vegas talking about. We just worry about what
we got in him on, got going on in our building.
They gonna make, They gonna do whatever they got to do,
and we gonna do what we got to do so
they could say whatever they want.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
What was there your persons about the seven film? About
filming for that lacking game? And how does that maybe
if we're the same for what you're seeing now?

Speaker 3 (03:59):
For you know, he got his strengths, he got his weaknesses,
like every quarterback. Now he's on our team. I just
he's gonna go out there and make a lot of
plays for us. So we put out a lot of
trust him and I believe he gonna deliver him So
and so sim more questions.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
With Cooper Cup Do you see him with the dog
and at year him every day?

Speaker 2 (04:15):
What's happening?

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (04:16):
That Ah, that's different. Just to get the line up
and play against him, and just to see him every
day in practice. The way he can run routes and
make everything look the same, it's just it's a lot
it's a good diversity. And then you got Jacks on
the other side. I think that's just gonna be help
us a lot, way a lot better at corner.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
So having go Glad against Kooper? What makes him a
challenge to cover as as he's going?

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Uh, just like he can run any route like and
then he make all his routes look the same. So
it's like you can't really get a tell on what
he gonna do.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
So do you mean I you mean on the break
or what do you mean both?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Making him up the same coming.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Out off the ball, Yeah, coming off the ball, the stems,
the uh, the way he gonna run the route, it's
just everything looks the same.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
So that's gonna make him a great receiver. So uh uh.
Last year as a blisterer, how do you feel like
he's taped right in there? How do you what's your
sense of how much or how little you're gonna get
us to Coppol This year?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I think I blittered really well it Last year. I
just think teams had a a good beat on when
I was coming to blit. So it's like, so it's
a hard thing. Like once you sow a t show
something on tape, I mean, all these teams gonna catch
a beat on it and then they gonna game plan
you for it.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
So that's just the legal we end.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
So this year, I just think I don't know how
a coach might gonna use me, but I just know
whatever he need me to do, i'm'a do it.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
And how do you what what do you feel like
teams have to beat?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Like?

Speaker 1 (05:25):
How do you be counter at? Uh? I just gotta
play football. That's all that is. Anything else thinks good, Thanks,
you appreciate it, I hear
