Speaker 1 (00:04):
Your tune's about drive on your twenty four to seven
home of the Black and Goals Steelers Nation Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
It's a five star matchup because we're in We're good
evening Steeler Nation.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
How we do it?
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Well, that's good us to our number two here on
a Friday, as all eyes on Steelers Ravens and a
massive week fourteen across the National Football League. We are
going to get into both of those things as we
roll along here, Matt, but it is time for a
little five Star Friday, quite simply just a fancy uh
(01:08):
name to dress up a matchup segment here. Yeah, and
I do think I should preface this with something we
talked about a little bit yesterday, something we mentioned in
the first hour of the show. This doesn't seem as
x's and o's and matchups.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Struggling for it as it typically does.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
I don't see a ton of individual this guy versus guy,
you know situations.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
It's not.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Both teams are dealing with some significant injuries that create
questions there. Both teams have had some some you know,
legit roster turnover at legit positions, and so it's Aaron
Rodgers hasn't been part of this before.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Jalen Ramsey hasn't been part of this.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
As you're saying before, both quarterbacks have injury concerns.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Those quarterbacks have injury concerns, and maybe that's kind of
maybe that's like the would be the first in a
weird way. Thing to highlight from matchup standpoint is, yeah,
they're not on the field at the same time. They
don't compete against each other. But Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Yeah, what versions of them are the former MVPs?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Which one can be the truest to their own form,
which version of themselves? Which one is going to look
the most like themselves and play the best on Sunday.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
That's a huge, massive factor in this one.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
And again not a head to head matchup, but kind
of a similar type juxtaposition.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Right Like if you told me I'm getting one hundred
percent of what Rogers can do and fifty percent of
what Lamar can.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
Do advantage Steelers massive, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Let alone, Lamar is the bigger wild card, Like, I
know Rogers can throw it as well as he's agree that.
You know where Lamar everything he does has been compromised.
You know, his accuracy is throwing is you know the
game planning for ability to run. But I do definitely
think and says some numbers to back it up, that
(02:55):
the inability to go under center was big for Rogers
and some of the handoffs stuff wasn't great. And you know,
ball security could still be an issue, ball fakes, things
of that nature too. And frankly, he hasn't played as
well as we know he's capable of playing too. You know,
neither one has, neither one is. Neither one has. You know,
Jackson's is a little more explainable.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
And this is another matchup that isn't you know, Kyle
Hamilton versus DK metcalf like, although maybe that we should
probably talk some in that regard. But for both of
these offenses, the line of scrimmage in the run game,
yeah yeah, whoever establishes there, whoever has more success there.
(03:38):
Derrick Henry and that Ravens front Warren and gain Well,
and that Steelers front possessing the football, keeping their defense
off the field, taking things off of their quarterbacks play,
you know, by being able to run successfully, and how
much that would benefit both of these injured and.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Banged up quarterbacks.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
That's another one that it seems like it's at the forefront.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Agree, And so the last several matchups against Baltimore, we've
seen Baltimore have a law of success on the ground.
You know one Henry was ripping them up when they're
keen on Lamar.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Last time these teams played eleven months ago. Yeah, two
nine rushing yards I mean basically three bills. Yeah, basically
Darnell Washington out there.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
So I think this is like one of the best
and unique backfields in NFL history when they're both right. Agree,
I mean, Lamar's as good a running quarterback as we've
ever seen. Henry's a Hall of Famer. But there their
styles of running the football couldn't be any any different.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
I mean, such thunder to be both at the same time,
more than.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Any backfield I can even think of, you know, TJ.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
I mean whatever, be like if he gave josh Allen
Barry Sanders.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Yeah, exactly, like someone totally different than you, which makes
it a nightmare, not to mention all the is he
holding it? Is he keeping his own read stuff?
Speaker 4 (04:53):
All that killed the Steelers last time these two teams.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
I'm done with it is is I think we'll probably
find out, Although I think what you said to start
the show of Lamar might scramble for eight and break
your back at any point, even if you think that's
not part of them. But I would bet that they
don't do a lot of the zone read stuff. You
know that. I think you can hope you can at
(05:16):
least entirely key on Henry because it seemed like they
never had the right answer. They're keying on Lamar and
Henry's gashing them. They're they're keying on Henry and Lamar's
gashing them, you know what I mean. Like, you know,
no matter which side of the coin I pick, it
comes up the other side something that's on the Steelers execution.
But I would hope in this one, I'm just focused
(05:38):
on stopping Henry. Yeah, I'm gonna play this as if
Henry's getting every carry, you know what I mean, for
better or worse.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I think, at least the start that it should be
the mind he'll proven otherwise. Matt, we do have the
injury report. I want to I want to get to
that in just a second. But first, we know the
Steelers like to throw the ball short. We know the
Baltimore Ravens in terms of EPA since they move Kyle
Hamilton and back up close to the line of scrimmage
have been the best in the NFL in that regard.
(06:04):
How do you get the ball to DK metcalf in space?
How do you get your tight ends involved over the
middle against the defense? That is so an area where
you've struggled against the defense who really accelerates in that realm,
Because even if you were able to run the ball successfully,
you still have to have somewhat of a threat in
that area.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
No doubt about it. So I really hope in this game,
in particular, that they run the ball a higher percentage
of the time unless they get down heavy on the shore,
you know, because in a way you can excuse a
way the sideways throwing that we've seen all year, Well,
that helps me get quick completions and helps my time possession, Yes,
(06:45):
but it doesn't establish the same thing. I mean, it's
kind of cheating off your buddy's paper, you know what
I mean. And frankly, I just think the quarterback might
just need to hold the ball a little longer and
wait for routes to develop eight to twelve yards downfield more,
you know. I mean, they don't even have to be
in the middle of the field. It'd be nice, but
(07:06):
let's see some intermediate passing. I just it feels a
little Russell Wilson where it's either I am, I got
my putter or my driver. You know, you get the
irons out, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Great analogy, Yeah, great analogy, and I I think you
need every club in that bag.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Yeah yeah, and especially because are so good to eliminating.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
The especially taking away right right, so you you better
not only be able to hit your driver, you better
have five.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Miles five would iron out or whatever?
Speaker 2 (07:34):
You know, Look at you see, I mean you always
talking about how you're afraid to get into golf because
you'd get addicted to it and spending too much money
and throwing.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Out that not intelligently about it.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Here's what we got for the latest for the Pittsburgh
Steelers in the injury department. Kyle Duggar is out against
the Ravens with that hand injury.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Unfortunate.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
They're so physicality would be good for this game as
well as tight end stuff.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
And his physicality would have been very welcome.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
And he's been as you you labeled it yesterday, he's
been a success story here.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Yes, that's a trade leader.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
That's the trade, a trade that the Steelers would make
again ten out of ten times.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
What's what they've gotten from him.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Wouldn't mind bringing them back, wouldn't mind, wouldn't mind certainly
him being in the fold next year. He will be
out against the Ravens. That's a that's a tough one
for this game and particularly for this opponent, and considering
how he had been playing. Calvin Anderson uh also ruled
out with a knee injury. Derek Harmon too, but we
are we do that on Tuesday. Kyle Duggar and Calvin
(08:32):
Austin both out hand injury for Dougger, knee injury for
the offensive tackle Calvin Anderson.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Although you want some good news, sure, Joey Porter Jr.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
James Pierre, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Queen all no injury designation,
will play against the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
I think there was that those balls are up in
the air a little not on Rogers, but I mean I.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Was surprised that at least, you know, Patrick Queen and
Joey Porter Junior and Pierre, Yeah, questionable or probable or yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I guess we're to the point where concussion protocol can
play its course and you can get through it. Sure, sure,
I mean easy for me to say, but maybe it
was a mild concussion.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
I don't Yeah, I always wonder how that like that
to me feels a little bit like are you pregnant
or are you not right? Concussor No, one's a little
bit pregnant. You're either just either pregnant or you're not.
Either can cussed or you're not. But again, we're not doctors.
We don't like to uh cannonball into that deep end
very often. But yeah, good news for Pierre after being
(09:31):
a full participant Thursday.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
He must not. We can at least say that. I
think he might not have any setbacks.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Well as you can. Yes, so I am curiously what
is and Samuel's usage looks like I would imagine Pierre's
your starter.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
I would almost be shocked if he was. Yeah, yeah, him,
JPJ and Echols.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
I think those are the three that you're gonna play
until further notice.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
But I expect to see at least a noticeable amount
of asante Samuel Jr.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
Yeah, maybe not.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
A don't usually rotate.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
That's a good point, Yeah, it's not.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
That's why I'm kind of interested.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Yeah, Okay, right now, if you had to set a
number over under on snaps that he plays.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Probably few ten, ten, Yeah, I mean, and.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
Because that's what like at times Pierre's.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Getting picked on. I mean, that's the thing. He's gonna
have a shorter leash. There's times also wouldn't blow me
away if they're like, Samuel's really impressive. He's our starter now,
but Pierre's earned it.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
I think Pierre's earned it. And I know Pierre has
earned it, yet we've seen we've seen him be one
of the lone bright spots I think on that defense
consistently over the last few weeks. I think I think
tennish eleven twelve is about right because that's kind of
what we saw. And I know it's different, same church,
different Pew that everybody loves it so much that I say,
and when I say that in the comments of Drabrol Peppers, yeah,
(10:51):
but it was kind of similar for him at times
when we were seeing him being used twelve snaps a game,
fourteen snaps a game.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
I assume he'll be the starter now with Thugger out though,
And that's one potential bright spot for me is I've
been excited about Peppers and just haven't got a chance
to really analyze them, which might be tell you all
you need to know.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Is he the uh one man gathers what another man spills?
Is he the one who gets the biggest up uptick
this week in the absence of Doug.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
Or assume so?
Speaker 4 (11:17):
I would think I would assume so too. But I I.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
They like shock me. They like Clark more than I
like Clark. I guess it is one way.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
I think. I think everybody likes Clark more than you
like Clark.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, back to the corner thing though, they never put
three receivers on the field though that also just kind
of dawned on me. Who you're playing too. You don't
need these.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Unless there's an injury or you know, a disaster performance.
Maybe it's under ten.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Steps, I mean, Ackles might not play a ton of snaps,
you know, Like it's just not a big corner opponent.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
No, it's not.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
And like maybe it's more so the you know, the
Miami Monday Night game next week where we see more
of junior offense like that that wants to spread you
out and attack everywhere. But that's what we know right now.
Dugger out, Calan Anderson out, Joey Porter junior, James Pierre,
Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Queen all good.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
So real quick on Anderson, Pete's going to be the
left tackle. I don't know who the swing tackle is.
I guess Cook, I guess would be Yes, okay, and
hopefully you don't need that guy at all, because other
Anderson is going to be the fourth guy. But I'm
talking about if if you were to lose Faltanu or Pete,
Anderson would have gone in Calvin injured Anderson. Yes, that guy, now,
(12:38):
I assume that would be Dylan.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
You're going to do any swing tackle something, somebody.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Else is gonna have to be active, yes, ice of
injury only, But yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
I uh, I think yes, I I I am. I
am certainly there with you that I think someone's gonna
have to be active.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
I think it'll be Dylan cle It sounds like Chuck.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
According to our boots on the ground reporters on Twitter,
it sounds like Chuck Clark's going to be the one
who gets the first crack at it against his former team. Now,
I'd have thought that We've seen times where Sligh was
introduced as a starter and then was still way out
snapped by Pierre. So maybe Chuck Clark's Clark starts, but
Peppers ends up playing more snaps than them.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
I don't possible, but I mean Clark is a thumper
in the run game. You mentioned everybody likes Clark more
than me. I might just like Peppers too much. Oh,
it could be the other angle to that, because he
isn't seen the field much since he's been here. Maybe
he just hasn't been impressive. It's hard for hard to
(13:43):
judge that one's not on the field. It might be
told you everything you need.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
In sure sure that that's gonna be another one, like
the tea leaves will tell us everything.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
We need to know Sunday after Yeah, not even the
tea leaves.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Just the snap distribution and the and the and you know,
the the share there and how it's broken down between
those guys.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
But I mean, they throw tight ends a lot, and
your strong safety is going to be very involved in.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
That, very very very much so.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
And they just gave one of those tight ends a
three year contract extension this week. And yeah, we know
how much Andrew's unlikely are likely to be a massive
part of their game plan.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
Yes, yes, twist.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
My mustache as I say that one when we come
back here, let's take a look around week fourteen in
the National Football League. We'll do our traditional Friday around
the League segment. As we alluded to earlier in the week,
when I think it was Wednesday, we broke down the
different playoff scenarios and all of that. It's a lot
of massive Sunday for a lot of different teams across
(14:38):
the National Football League in terms of division races, wild
card races, playoff picture. We'll get some thoughts, some predictions,
all of that around the league when we return on
the other side. West Shuler, Matt Williamson. It is the
Drive on Steelers Nation Radio on the Steelers Audio.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Network, your tunes about Drive on your twenty five four
seven home of the Black and Goal, Steelers Nation Radio.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
It is December, it is week fourteen. That road is
getting awfully narrow across the National Football League, and we
have got some very very important games to discuss. Of course,
that one last night that we talked about earlier, Detroit
forty four Dallas thirty. Good for the Lions, not out
of the woods, but in a much better spot. And
(15:44):
for the Cowboys borrowing a Christmas miracle. You can kiss
it goodbye on the twenty twenty five season in terms
of their playoff hopes, although I bet you they'll still
factor into that thing down the stretch.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Oh, they can still beat anybody.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
They can still beat anybody.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
They still have some big matchups against other teams that
are hockeying for playoff spots and seeds, and so I'm
sure the Cowboys will still play a role in this,
albeit very unlikely. As a postseason participant. You just hate
to see that Cowboys not going to the playoffs breaks
my heart.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
I will say, like the Quinn Williams deal and the
stuff they did lately is really for next year. I mean,
they're set up really well for next year. They got
a ton of picks, so just draft defense like crazy.
Pickens will either get franchise.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Or I was gonna say, that's really kind of the
only big offseason thing for them.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
But they get franchise them and pick them off or whatever. Right,
he won't leave.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
I would be very surprised if he's not wearing that
star on his helmet, which.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
By the way, I know Dallas.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
I know their thing is like the white jerseys, right,
that's the Cowboys thing. Man, Those Navy blue ones with
the silver pants like they wore last night. Those are sharp.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
I don't care about jerseys.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
I know that's that's for US millennials.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
You don't look at anybody in the NFL go oh man,
that's a good look rarely.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
I mean, I like the powder blue Chargers back in
the day.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Yeah, yeah, I'm a I'm a big fan of the
Steelers obviously.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Look, I'm a big fan of the Raiders. Look.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
I like those I like those Cowboys, those navy blue
ones they wore last night, those are sharp, man. Along
with I'm a huge fan, I think like everybody is
of the Atlanta Falcons, the old dirty bird uniforms and
throwback helmets that they were a few times a year.
They are at home Sunday at Beautiful Mercedes Been Stadium,
seven point underdogs to one of the best teams in
(17:34):
the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks. Matt Seahawks traveling east for
a one o'clock game.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Yeah right?
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Can they continue to do what they do as seven
point favorites.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Their offense didn't have to do anything last week and
frankly didn't play that great.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
But hasn't done much the last month. No, I've still
been rolling for the most part.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
I'm definitely thinking Seattle in this game, though the road
stuff doesn't sway me at all. And I think Atlanta's
in a really bad spot right now. They're crumbling fast.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
Same.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
I would like this more if it was six and
a half as opposed to seven.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
But it's a pretty big number for a home team.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
But I but I still think with the way Land
is playing, with the way Seattle plays on the road,
no matter where they're at time zone, time slot, I
will I will lay the seven with the Seahawks in Buffalo. Hey, Cincinnati,
they're probably too far gone to get back into the
playoff conversation, but they had a big factor in the
playoff conversation Thanksgiving night by knocking out the Ravens or
(18:29):
knock yeah, by by knocking out the Ravens in Baltimore.
Now they've got a chance to go to Buffalo and
and and and put a knock into the Bills Sunday
at one o'clock. Buffalo is six point favorite at home
against Cincinnati.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
I might take the points.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
I'm jumping all over the points. I think Cincinnati is
playing pretty well. I've done some homework on them lately.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
The defense has much improved.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
Yeah, but defense doesn't stink anymore.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Albeit it was not a high bar to clear, right,
but the defense is much improved.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah, it's below average as opposed to being right.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
It's just it's just bad instead of being a disaster.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
And this might make Steeler fans feel a little better.
I mean, nobody was happy when Chase Brown ran all
over them the first meeting. But the Bengals run game
is second in EPA in the whole league since Flacco
took over, including Burrow.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
So like that is impressively.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Yeah. Like they're they're offenses humming and Higgins is back.
As you mentioned, there might be like ninety point scored
in this game. I really think that these two quarterbacks
could This could be the most fun game of the weekend.
I'm definitely taking the points and I think the Bengals
could win by far.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
The biggest over under weekend close.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Okay, just to paint the picture for you, the second
biggest over under of the weekend is Rams at Cardinals.
Forty seven and a Half's.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
A reasonably a big number, of course, fifty three.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
And a half wow, So it's it's a touchdown more
than the next than the next closest game.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
And I assume they'll be I'm sort of weathering buff.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
And I was just gonna say December at Orchard Park,
but that's still not enough to I.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
Don't like either one of these defenses, even if they
are both playing a little better. But yeah, I love
the quarterbacks, I don't like the defenses.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
I'm with you on that. I do think Buffalo finds.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
A way to pull it out, probably, but I think
Cincinnati's gon to give them all they can handle.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
I'll take plus six.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
I think this could. It wouldn't shock me have since
you won.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Staying in Ohio, although that game's in Buffalo. So let's
move to Ohio Cleveland, Ohio, specifically Huntington Bankfield Stadium in Cleveland,
where they host the Titans in what is not the
sexiest matchup of the week fourteenth slate. Pretty horrible but
at Brown's, Matt, You know how sometimes I like to
laugh at this. You could see like the lowest the prices,
(20:51):
the lowest get in ticket prices, you know, like for example,
Packers host the Bears this weekend. Right, cheapest cheapest ticket
one hundred and forty bucks. Yeah, big time game tickets
as low as seven dollars in Cleveland this weekend. Far
cry from uh. Like Bob Labriola was telling us about yesterday,
the days of you know, eighty thousand people in an
(21:11):
exhibition game fighting for tickets.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
It reminds me of like pen games you could get
in for like a buck, Yeah, scalpers or whatever.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
You go buy a pepe and your can be a
free ticket and stuff like that. There would be there'd
be times Matt where it'd be like a Friday or
Saturday night and my dad would be playing a concert
and me and my buddy justin. I still remember this
like it was yesterday. We'd be thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, something
you probably couldn't do nowadays as a parent, no cell phones, nothing.
(21:40):
My dad would drop us off at the Igloo before
he'd go play his concert at Hines Hall. So he'd
drop us off at like six thirty, and he'd be like,
meet me right back here at nine thirty, like a
street court. I don't care if the game goes into overtime.
I don't care what happens. Nine And we'd go with
like five bucks in our in our hands and we'd
(22:02):
go get a hot dog at seven to eleven and
scalp a ticket and go into the game.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
That was even like people cared about de pend r
I at age. You get in with that.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
That was post LAMU Uh yeah, Matt, I told you
the Buffalo game the biggest, The Buffalo Cincinnati game biggest
spread of the weekend. I don't think it will surprise
you when I tell you that Titans and Browns by
far the lowest over under of the weekend. I meant
over and under there with Buffalo and Cincinnati. Part of
(22:33):
me not spread just thirty three and a half for
this one. Cleveland a four and a half point favorite
at home against Tennessee.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
This actually has massive draft implications. I mean, right now,
Tennessee is the number one SPA.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
If you're a fan of one of these two teams,
you might want them to lose this game, right.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
I think you do, especially like well, if you're Tennessee
for sure, like you have a number one for Tennessee
would be great and hold a ransom.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Yeah, maybe you could trade for their two first round picks.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
Miles Garrett might set the record in the one too.
I think he only needs like two and a half.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Dan Mooyren Junior, can you do something for it.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
But man, I think clearly the Browns defense is the
best unit times one thousand, oh without a doubt. I
can't have the Browns give points to anybody. I'll I'm
taking points.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
If it's like two and a half or something like that,
it might be a different story. But are the Brown's
gonna beat anybody by five or.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
More in a game that might be like eleven to ten.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
I'm just glad you didn't say thirteen to nine. I'll
take the four and a half with Tennessee as well.
In Minnesota. Staying in the one o'clock slate, here the
Vikings and the Commanders, two of the better teams in
the NFC last year who have certainly taken a step
back and not having the year that they want to
have this year. This to me makes it seem like
Vegas knows that Daniels is gonna play, or maybe they're just.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Gonna announce like ten minutes ago, the guy.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Yeah, because the Commanders are one and a half point
favorites in Minnesota on the road, and I'll take them.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
I don't know what to expect from Daniels. It's just
the I just know what the quarterback situation.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
I was gonna say, the Minnesota quarterback situation. It's so bad, Matt,
I'm considering starting Romeo Dobbs over Justin Jefferson on my
fantasy team on Sunday.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
Yeah, that's how bad.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
I mean, got me zero points last week, my first
my first pick, like fifth overall, got me zero points.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
And it's not his fault at all.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Yeah, I think I'm gonna lay the one and a
half with Washington as well. It's not even that I
feel confident about them, but I just that Vikings offense
can't do dittally right now. I can't believe that's over
under a forty three and a half.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
I can't believe that's not down in the thirties.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Any Vikings game. Yeah, yeah, I mean Washington played much
better last week than Minnesota, did they did? I mean,
they're definitely not hanging it up.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Like Washington has not been a pushover. No, they haven't
been Cancun on three just yet.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Nope, Nope, No.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Yeah, let's see here, Let's go to East Rutherford, New Jersey,
where the World Cup draw just happened today. Favorable, favorable
off for the United States of America. Certainly we couldn't
mess this one up. Miami at the Jets MetLife Stadium,
where the World Cup Final will be played. I think
some point in July, maybe when we're all out in Latrobe,
(25:11):
we'll watch it at Sharky's together. Jets are two and
a half point underdogs at home, so Miami favored by
two and a half points in East Rutherford.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
Jets are playing hard still too. I mean, I think
they're trying to.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Save These teams are and say, this is.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
A game that Miami usually loses. Late division game. Yeah,
nothing to play old, you know, I'm gonna take Miami, though.
I think they're trying to save his job too. They've
played pretty well.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
Lately, Matt.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
This is one of the more surprising lines for me
of the weekend. In the sense of two and a
half point favorites, Miami is I thought that would be
more like four and a half, five and a half.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
I think I'll lay the two and a half.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
Like in the power ranks, I bet there should be
eight teams better, you know than the Jets at least, yeah,
at least like they could be middle of the pack
right now the way they're.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Playing, I will lay the two and a half with
Miami that it seems a little rat poisonous, like too
good to be true, but I'm gonna do it anyways.
New Orleans at Tampa Bay. Big opportunity for Tampa Bay
to take care of business against the team that they should.
With the Panthers on the by, that would give them
the full leg up. You know, it's the half game
advantage now, it would give them the full game advantage
(26:18):
if they take care of business, Matt They are tied
as the biggest favorite this weekend, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
eight and a half points.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Only the Rams is big of a favorite at.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Home, Tampa Bay, You laying eight and a half against
the Saints, are you counting on Tyler Shuck to maybe
keep it a little close?
Speaker 3 (26:37):
I guess I'll take the Bucks. I don't love that number.
I do not like I thought it'd be more like
seven is. It's not even close to that neighborhood. But yeah,
I think the Bucks are getting healthier. I'm not sure
if Evans will play or not, but god Win and
Bucky are back to being themselves, which goes a long way.
That's game they need. It's a big number, I think.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
I think I'm taking the plus eight and a half
with New Orleans. I just I could see them scoring
a eight touchdown something like that, you know, and Tampa
has been.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
Uck's not bashful, I mean he's not. He is aggressive and.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Like they're they're another team kind of like Washington, you know,
despite only having two or three wins, like they haven't
set sail on.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
The off season just yet.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
They haven't been a pushover. And they've got a young
rookie quarterback who's trying to prove that this is my job.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
Don't draft somebody next year.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
I like Tampa to win, but I'll take the eight
and a half with New Orleans. Big one Matt in
the a f C South Jacksonville hosting Indianapolis, the winner
is gonna have an inside track to lose or to
win the division. Part of me, the winner is gonna
have an inside track to win the division. The loser
is gonna be fighting with Houston and you know, trying
(27:52):
to to stay in the playoff hunt and in a
wild card spot one o'clock in Jacksonville, where the Colts
are a slight road favorite, favored by a point and
a half.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
So you know how some divisions have those weird home
roads flits and stuff. Colts never win in Jacksonville. It's
never one of those fluky things, even when they're the
better team. It's just they never win.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Their Steelers never went in Chicago. Colts never win in Jacksonville.
And that's not a divisional matchup. But right, you get right.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
I know the last time they won there, Andrew Luck
was their quarterback. I mean, and it was like Kobe Fleener,
I mean, like they were a bat. It was a
long time.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
Ago, and there's been some bad Jags teams.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Yeah, right, we saw like one Steelers, Browns, you know
what I mean, or Bears, Packers that we'll get to.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
I'm sure here, Cardinals.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Right exactly, No Buckner, no sauce.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
It's true. It's a big loss.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Played a lot better since Jacoby Myers has been there.
Now there's some Monday morning quarterbacking, but Kobe Myers have
been a good Steeler. Seen him in a new place.
I think the Colts are in a really tough situation.
Do me a quick favorite, dude, because they've played two
(29:06):
really difficult games. Now, this is a place they never win.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
They've lost to Kansas City and Houston the last two week.
The rest of their schedule at Jacksonville at Seattle, hosting
San Francisco hosting Jacksonville at Houston.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
My Lord, I don't think they're going to playoffs. I
remember we previewed Steelers Colts. It was like this team's dynamite.
They might be the one seed. Now they got a
quarterback with a broken leg sauce, they gave two a
picks for its hurt, and that schedule is awful.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
Awful.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Yeah, man, They do still have Jacksonville twice and Instant.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Super Key, so they need to win two of those.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Would I think they need to win two of those
Seattle and San Francisco. Hey, if you could split one, great,
But they're also the NFC games, so a little bit
of a different beast.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
They're eight and four right now.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
I mean, they could win or lose any of them,
but they're not in a great place with how they're playing,
and it's just tough game after a tough game, after
a tough game starting two games ago.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Of those five tough games, I think they need to
go at least two and three and win the right ones.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
Like if they're ten and seven.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
And they win the right ones, they could still have
some tie Jags, but they already lost to Houston. They
do play the Jags twice, but they already lost to
Houston once.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
They did beat the.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Chargers, though, so they would have a tie breaker over
the Chargers.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
That think the Chargers are super threatenings. The rest of
their schedules are so bad.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
I'd say they did beat the Broncos, but that's not
going to help for a tie breaker, because the Broncos
are going to beat divisional champions. They lost to Kansas City,
if somehow the Chiefs are able to catch them, they
lost to Pittsburgh, if somehow they end up beating in
a wild card fight with the Steelers.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
Funny brought the Chiefs and we'll get to them because
if they beat Houston, the rest of their schedule is
really favorable. That's how we were comparing them today on
a show was Colts and Chiefs remaining schedule night and day.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
It's a it's a jeckyal and high difference, certainly taking
Jacksonville plus one and a half.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm with you on that.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Uh In two the four o'clock slate.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Here de days one of the I'm not taking them.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
One of disappointments.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
No, I'm done with the Raiders of.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
The National Football League season. They welcome the Denver Broncos.
There will be a ton of orange there at Allegiant Stadium.
Broncos get this mat second lowest over under of the week,
but a massive spread.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
These ones always intrigued me a little bit.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
The over under only thirty nine and a half points,
Denver a seven and a half point favored on the
road in Viva, So.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
I never look at things this way. But my co
host had a really interesting observation about this game verse
Bears Packers. They like the exact same line. Denver's the
Raiders like the worst team in the league. Denver's a
two seed as we speak, so true, and Bears Packers
(31:52):
are like dead even big time playoff football. And they're
both like a seven point spread, Like, what's wrong? What
am I missing?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Something's not adding right, something's not adding up.
Speaker 3 (32:04):
I mean, I don't think Denver blows anyone's doors off, but.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
That is I would look at this and I think
it'd be more nine and a half ten and a
half Denver spread.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
But they also they just don't really blow teams out.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
They don't they win with defense and grind.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
They win with defense and grind you out and wear
you down, and it's I.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Just can't take the Raiders. I think they're so hideous.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
I will lay the seven and a half with Denver,
and like I said, if it was eight and a
half or even nine and a half, I'd probably still
consider doing it. HM, but I'm not putting any faith
in in Vegas and anything other than to be firing
some more people other than Chip Kelly once this season ends.
Speaking of that game at Lambeau, a huge one for
playoff implications, Both of these teams in all likelihood going
(32:44):
to the playoffs, I think. But who's gonna win the
division and get home home field advantage? Green Bay hosting Chicago.
Speaker 4 (32:50):
Yeah, great game, great game. Six and a half point
favorites are the Packers.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
I I'm really warming up to Green Bay lately. But
I'm taking the points.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
I think both of these teams are legit playoff teams.
I all the kind of doubt about Chicago. I'm not
saying I think they're a super Bowl contender, but I
think they are a legit good playoff team.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
I'm gonna take you points.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
I'm not taking point they run the ball.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Yeah, but I you give me that Chicago team that's
one what eight of their last nine and playing really
well and has a talented offense that can run the ball.
You give me six and a half of those guys. Yeah,
I'll take it.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
They're getting a little healthier on defense than when the
Steelers played him as well.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
I wanted to throw this out too though, that I
think the MVP race is basically narrowed to May versus Stafford,
with Stafford probably having the edge.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
I would just real quick, without thinking a ton about it.
That sounds right.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
Love isn't far off. I mean, well, he's there's everyone's
a distant third, but no one even mentions him. He's
having a great season and unbelieve he has like three
interceptions all year. I mean he's playing just behind those guys.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
He has been sneakily one of the better quarterbacks in
the NFL this year. Yeah, he's another one of those
guys that it feels like has done the level up thing.
Oh yeah, yeah, And I think that'll be the difference
in a Green Bay win.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
But I'll take six and a half for Chicago all day.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Speaking of great quarterbacks, my buddy just happened to text
our group chat Burrows eight to o in his last
eight starts.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
Is he really Yeah?
Speaker 3 (34:24):
The last eight games Burrow has been in, they've won
eight to all of them.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
I'll tell you what unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Might be a good thing for the UH Steelers and
Ravens that Burrow missed so much time and it took
Cincinnati so long to stabilize their defense. Yes, in Arizona
it's the Rams. Tickets as low as just twenty dollars,
the Rams eight and a half point favorites against the Cardinals.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
I'm gonna take the Rams just because they lost last week,
you know, like I think it is in the division game.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
But they did not play their best last week.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
It was announced today that Kyler Murray's not gonna play.
Speaker 4 (35:02):
Kyler Murray was out for the rest of the year.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
Person's not playing this game. I think they've kind of
cashed it into and just not gonna beat people up.
Benson's not coming, hasn't been back. I don't if they're
gonn rush him back at this point.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
And the Rams now they know if they want to
get that one seed, they've got no more room for air.
Speaker 4 (35:19):
Follow into the Panthers last week. I'm with you. Eight
and a half is a big number for the road team,
big number for a road team.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
I don't think Arizona's horrible despite their record.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
I'm gonna I'll lay the eight and a half with
the Rams. That might be another one of those that
I would try and tease and get it down to
six and a half. But yeah, I feel confident that
the Rams come out and play very well and a
convincing victory against the Cardinals, and.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Then finally Sunday night.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
It's right there with Steelers Ravens, right there with Chicago
Green Bay in terms of playoff implications. This weekend, Houston
at Kansas City an elimination game. Maybe they see it
certainly is for Houston. It's probably pretty close. Matt, This
(36:05):
one wild to me and I understand there's two huge
factors at play here.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
The first is it's a night game.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
Yeah, at Kansas.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
Cost a lot of money to have season tickets.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
Oh, you're talking about the cost to get in.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Cost a lot of money to have season tickets. Because
of that, it's a lot of older people who have
season tickets because they can afford them, and they don't
like night games. We see that in Pittsburgh, sell those
big correlation. Listen, I don't mean to die anybody out here, okay,
but I'm gonna do it. That's like the with all
due respect, but here comes me saying something disrespectful. Yes,
(36:39):
there was always gonna be a lot of Packers fans
at that game, because they're a massive fan base that
travels well and wanted to see Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 4 (36:46):
But if that was a.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
One o'clock game, there wouldn't have been nearly as many old, old,
tenured season tickets Steelers holders that put their tickets up
because they don't want to go to an eight o'clock
game because it's too late. It's past bedtime and I
don't want to get home at one in the morning.
I would say, if that's your mindset, give up your tickets,
because that's part of the commitment. But different conversation for
a different time.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
And I certainly understand the logic of I'm gonna sell
one or two to pay for the rest.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
But I'm also a sicko who believes in supporting my teams,
and you don't.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
I'm sure you never do that.
Speaker 2 (37:20):
No, and we stink, we don't have we don't have
a fracture of the history that the Pittsburgh friggin Steelers have.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
And also WU plays six home games a year. That's it.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
The Steelers play eight maybe nine home games a year. Like,
you don't get to do this very often. And I
just don't believe in buying some I realize making money
and knocking the hustle and capitalism and all that, but like,
I hate people that buy concert ticket I'm gonna buy
Taylor Swift tickets for face value in the ticket Master
lottery with no intention of going.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
I'm just flip. I'm just gonna flip them to make money.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
Like when I can't go to WVU games, I give
the tickets to my parents or a family member. I'm
not trying to sell them to make money. Like but anyways,
I digress. Just thirty five bucks you can get into
this one.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Wow. I thought it would be super expensive, and I.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Hugely think it's a combination though of older people don't
like night games. Yeah yeah, and Kansas City's played in
a bazillion kajillion big games. Like I get it with
their fan base being a little we're not that good.
Speaker 4 (38:19):
It's December, it's cold, it's a night game.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
I don't want to go, but I would still say
that that's pretty lame from Kansas City's perspective.
Speaker 4 (38:26):
You've had the best team in the world for seven
straight years. Yeah, it's a crucial game show up for
your team. Don't throw those tickets online.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
That's cold, and it's late and it's But again, not
everybody's as diehard of a dork as I am. I
get that Kansas City a three and a half point
favorite at home against Houston.
Speaker 4 (38:43):
Houston's better, I think right now.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
Yeah, I'm a big Houston believer, and it all starts
with their d rushers, of course, and their defense. But
Chiefs have banged up tackles. Neither starter might play. They're
a line in general is a problem. They struggle against
man coverage, which Stingley, etc. Is going to be tons of.
I think their offense is getting better Houston's Kansas City
(39:09):
is missing something on defense, or an edge rusher away
or something like that. But there is this Mahomes back
against the wall. I think that's why the number is
what it.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Is, no doubt, and they as much as I've kind
of been critical of them these last few weeks, I still.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Get that they still earn that. They've earned that.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
If this was Brady or you know, as.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
Much as I don't agree with it, like I might
have Houston as a point and a half favorite.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
Yeah, they've earned it.
Speaker 3 (39:37):
I almost said in a neutral field, I think Houston's
favored or at least to pick them, and I would
definitely pick them at a neutral field, and I'm gonna
pick him here with the points.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
I am too.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
I like what they're doing.
Speaker 4 (39:48):
I like what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
I think the offense has vastly improved from where they
were in September, and I think the defense has been
one of the if not the best units in the
league the entire season.
Speaker 3 (40:00):
We're a couple of buckeyeos today on City Houston to
go to the super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
Woo, because it's still because it's crazy, yeah.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
Right, I mean they're not even guaranteed to go to playoffs.
Speaker 4 (40:08):
That's a good one. Yeah, you're not gonna win the
super Bowl to win the AFC to go.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
I think the NFC is gonna win the super.
Speaker 4 (40:13):
Bowl to win the AFC. Part of me, yes, but I.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
Think the I think whoever the NFC representative is probably
gonna be.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
That's where I would put my money right now, but
a lot can certainly change between now in early February.
But that's our thoughts on the week fourteen slate across.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
The league, some huge ones, yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
The biggest of them all might be Sunday one o'clock
M and T Banks Stadium in Baltimore, where the Ravens
are now a six point favorite against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
We will predict that one, how it plays out, final scores,
all that on the other side. Before we get up
out of here, Weshooler Matt Williams, and it's the Drive
on Steelers Nation Radio on the Steelers Audio Network.
Speaker 1 (40:57):
Your teams about Drive on your twenty four to seven
home of the Black and Goal. Steelers Nation Radio.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Final segment of the week, final segment of this Friday,
and we have to give our final thoughts and predictions
for the Steelers and the Ravens, a massive one between
these two massive rivals. Before we do that, though, Matt,
we discussed the Steelers injury report earlier. Now we got
to do the you know, the good journalistic integrity thing,
(41:36):
fair and balanced coverage, and obviously we also want to
know what Baltimore's looks like, Yeah, there's.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
A couple that are looming that I'm curious about.
Speaker 4 (41:44):
And they got pretty good news.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
Good on those everyone is good to go, except for
Tavius Robinson who was in that twenty one day window
and a Darius Washington who was in that twenty one
day window.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Okay, I know they were kind of hopeful watch, but
he'd be their for safety at this point too. I mean,
they good stuff to.
Speaker 4 (42:06):
But like there was questions about Rashad Bateman, He's good to.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
Gogangan's no injury status, full participant in no designation.
Speaker 4 (42:15):
Uh, Travis Jones, the defensive lineman.
Speaker 3 (42:17):
That's big, he's a big run stuffer.
Speaker 4 (42:19):
Good to go.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
Lamar Jackson, good to go, Ronnie Stanley good to go. Uh,
devontees Walker good to go. Pretty good news for the Steelers,
I think, other than than Dugger popping up this week.
Speaker 3 (42:32):
And yeah, both teams healthier than I would have guessed.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
Very good news, Very good news for Baltimore.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
Unfortunately, you wanna make your pick first.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
Yeah, I'm not feeling great about it. I I think
I'm taking the I'm taking Steelers plus six.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
I'll be upfront about that.
Speaker 3 (42:48):
So I don't know if I've ever told you this,
but I have a rule. Did I just take the
points in this game? But anytime these two teams match
smart I was joking on my other podcast, I'm like
this games in two thousand twenty nine. Give me the points. Yeah,
twenty thirty five, give me the points. I don't even
know who's playing the coach right point, give me points.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
I'm gonna go, man, I am gonna take Baltimore to win.
I think that they've had better news in the health
department this week, and I think them being at home,
they just the last few times, and maybe it's because
I've been there, but it has not gone the Steelers
way the last couple of times we've stepped into that stadium.
(43:30):
And the only other time this season I picked against
the Steelers, they went and won the game.
Speaker 4 (43:35):
So maybe there's some good juju there. Give me twenty
three to twenty Baltimore. Okay, twenty two to nineteen.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
What is the current spread?
Speaker 4 (43:47):
Something weird Ravens favored by six?
Speaker 3 (43:49):
Okay, because I actually have it as a six point game,
but it's fluctuated all week, like more than any of
the game.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
That is, I'm gonna go TV for the graphic, I'm
gonna go something weird.
Speaker 4 (43:57):
Give me twenty three nineteen, Baltimore.
Speaker 3 (44:01):
Okay, I should see a weird score, as much as
I hate to say it.
Speaker 2 (44:04):
Yeah, if someone ends up going for two or there's
a missed extra point or something wonky.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
I could definitely see that. I picked it earlier in
the week. Twenty to fourteen. Spread is changed back and forth.
I'm always like, give me the points. I guess that
would be a push, so but I guess I still
would take the points. I think the Ravens are playing better.
They're not the Ravens of old.
Speaker 4 (44:26):
I think the rest advantage is key for me in
the sun.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
I was gonna say, I really as many snaps as
a Steeler defense, and the time of possession and just
getting run on and the defense being on the field
for a million plays just a few days ago. I
think a rest advantage in their building with a physical game,
no matter what, is going to be a physical game.
(44:50):
I think that's a big problem. And it doesn't the
practice reports don't indicate this, but it makes me wonder.
Could Lamar start to looked like Lamar with you concerned
about that? Yeah, it just seems like that would be
just our luck, you know, the kind of thing, right,
and frankly, I mean cheers, I'm played well. I mean
(45:12):
they're coming off a terrible game.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
Back to back, right right right, and yeah, and I
realized Baltimore didn't play well, but at least they had
a few extra days to flush.
Speaker 4 (45:21):
That and and and get right and yeah, at.
Speaker 3 (45:25):
Least from some wins together against not great teams before that.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Long, well, Matt, the only other time this year that
you and I have both picked the Steelers to lose.
Speaker 4 (45:32):
Was the Colts game.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
Said, I've been very bad with my pick.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
And yeah, you and I both thought the Cowboys would
take uh take steer particular.
Speaker 4 (45:40):
Steelers in particular, I thought they.
Speaker 3 (45:42):
Sneak went out against the Bills. You know, I mean
I've picked the wrong last couple weeks on that. Well,
hopefully hopefully I'm wrong.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
Hopefully we're picking wrong when we're back here on Monday
to recap this thing. But you do know we will
return and chat with you, win, lose, or draw for
