Speaker 2 (00:32):
Steel Good afternoon, Steelers Nation, and welcome back to campus
here for the final time in this twenty twenty five
training camp at Saint Vincent College for your Pittsburgh Steelers
Wes Shuler Matt Williamson. It is a special edition of
the Drive Here on Steelers Nation Radio on the Steelers
Audio Network Training Camp Edition Bonus hour three hour show.

(00:54):
Matt got the final practice of camp on public portion
of camp right right right, getting ready to go here
in front of us, full padded practice today in a
hot day here on campus.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah, I assume this is exactly what coach Tomlin wants,
you know, super hot day as the grand finale in pads,
I'm expecting a lot of banging. I mean I think
that that's safe to say. We do have a joint
practice in two days, but that's a nice rest time
in between. I think tomorrow is just a walk through
from what I understand, none of which will be here.
So this is the last day. If you're not in

(01:26):
attendance too late, you gonna wait till next year. So
let's bring it on home, dude.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
It's been fun, it has been and we're excited to
have a padded practice to bring you here on the
final day of this thing. And yeah, I gotta imagine
it will be a physical day after after yeah, day
off for the guys on Sunday, A non padded practice yesterday.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Right, but it went kind of long and it was hot,
but still yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
But yeah, and it's hot out here today. We'll see
how that affects the amount of time that they spend
out on the practice field today. But we got Aaron
Rodgers running through some walkthrough stuff off in front of us.
Here is practice gets going.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Defense looks like they're hitting a sled on the third
field and doing some other things in midfield too.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Exactly right, So it should be hopefully one of those
There's been some days here where it's felt like we've
had a lot to talk about during practice and the
other days where it's been a little bit slower, But
I think today will be one of those days. We'll
have plenty of talk.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
I would think the rain out days seemed like a
million years ago. But there was a stretch there when
we were just looking at green grass and that was
a little bit more challenging of a show to put
together for three hours. But no doubt, I don't think
today is going to be a challenge at all. I
would expect things spirits to be high. I would think
to be a lot of patto or a lot of
banging and pretty full speed action here, you know, yeah,

(02:40):
trying to get the lay of the land here, who's
practice and who isn't. I haven't really started looking till
just now. But Rogers is out.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
There exactly what I was kind of going for here too.
Roger Jones is out there. I do not see Isaac
Sayamalu currently.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Okay, metcalf is.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Metcalf is out there. Jalen Ramsey and Darius Slay, both
dressed in full pads.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Had something was that yesterday?

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Like you said, everything kind of blends into one right,
But yes, remember Darius Slay had that like foot ankle
of something something bugged him yesterday that caused him to
end practice early. He never left, he you know, wasn't
wasn't carted up to the locker room or anything like that.
But he was clearly just kind of in some discomfort.
But he is back out there today. That's great to see.

(03:26):
UH and Jalen Ramsey hopefully we'll see him back in
some action. Which felt like it's been a while since
we've seen him.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
It has been a while, and I didn't realize this
until we were at Sharky's last night. I forget which
beat reporter I was talking to over a champagne of beers,
and he said something along the lines of it's been
seven or eight days since Ramsey has participated in team
or any of those things. Yeah. Man, I don't think
he's injured. I don't think he's disputing a contract or anything.

(03:55):
I just think they're keeping him in bubble wrap. But
I do think it's noteworthy that maybe this is the
day he's out there doing what he's yeah here to do.
You know. Yeah, yeah, I would imagine Thursday he will
be either.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Way, I would I would think so squaring.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Up against Mike Evans and those guys, no.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Doubt, no doubt. So that's kind of the early attendance
report here, Matt.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah, I'm looking for John new Smith too, because he's
kind of.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Been I was going to say to you, I saw
him this morning out there on the field, really looking
to see though. That's a good point. Now I'm trying
to find the tight ends out there.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah, there's a couple of them. We'll find him. I've
not seen him, but I don't know. That doesn't mean
he's not here.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Doesn't mean he's not here certainly.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Because he's been a little hit or miss lately too.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
He has he has, uh, do not see Alex high Smith,
which I don't think is worth anymore, right, right, exactly.
No Calvin Austin out there either.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
That's been a while now too.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
It has his uh his agent actually spoke because I guess,
you know, there was some speculation that like, is it
just purely injury for Calvin on? Is he you know,
is he positioning himself for a.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
New contract contract is a free agent to be.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Heading into the last year of his his deal, which
is quite often a time when when you know, when
they like to get guys extended if they are going
to go in that direction. Sure, but his agent came
out and said that he's dealing with a minor abdominal
injury and that you know the only reason that he
is not practicing is practicing is because of his injury.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Okay, that makes sense. And hey, with all respect to
Calvin Austen, his resume is not exactly Cam Hayward or
Jerry Rice in terms of I can demand you know,
I'm sitting out that kind of thing. Yes, Yes, I
think I think you are correct exactly that position of.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
No, and I think it's it's probably the opposite way,
like he probably wants to get back out here to
prove art that he's on the right track and does
deserve a.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Contract, expecially the new quarterback and right new.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Quarterback, absolutely, and some new pieces, some big time new
pieces on that offense as well too. I'm continuing to
look here so.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Looking for John. Not seen him, and the tight ends
are kind of gathering together, and I have not seen
him in that group.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yes, that's where I'm with you.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
I don't think Seeamalu is dressed to your point.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
No, did not see Saamalu in any of the offensive
line stuff.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Do not. I don't think McCollum's back, but I just
started looking now.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
I do see Darnel Washington, I do see Connor Hayward,
saw Pratt, Fryarmouth early.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Yeah, that's why I keep bring up Johnny because I've
seen all the other tight ends but not him.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah, No, I think he might be in it. We'll
after when they when they come over here to the
near side field and stretch, well, that's when we can
really kind of get a good look at the and.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
The tight endrils are always super close.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
But yes, and they do it seems like always run
the tight endrills right in front of us. So that
will be something we'll be able to get a definite
answer on here sooner rather than later. As right now,
we've just got some some basic warmups going on in
front of us, Danny Smith walking through some some special
teams instruction, as well as as we get things going

(07:00):
on underway quarterbacks on the far side field. I'm trying
to look and see. It does look like I think
that's Will Howard standing over there in the white hat
and white shirt.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
I think he was like soft tossing before.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
He was he was soft tossing is a good way
to put it. He was doing like some some footwork
drills as well too, as uh as Matt's Matt's being
hit with some of the allergy bug here.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Udeze my head off.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
That's one of the things that gets me out here
every year.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
I've noticed that too, Like I've been stuffed up when
I'm here. I blame the dorms more than anything, because
then they go home.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
I think so too. You have all that shared you
have all that shared you have all that shared air
in the dorms there, And.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
I'd rather a broken leg than the hiccups on the
air and sneezes aren't much better, no doubt, no doubt.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
And hey, some good news here. That's uh, that's coming
across the timeline right now. Thanks to our buddy Alan
Saunders for pointing this out to me. Alex His is
out there.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
He's oh, really good.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
He's not in pads, but if you can see, he's
standing about the twenty five yard line on that second field.
He's got his jersey on and apparently he's doing some
some light work stuff just with he could start and
with some of the trainers. So good stuff, so high
Smith not in full pads, but is wearing his jersey
and shorts over there and doing some again very light,

(08:22):
very light type of handwork, and and and things like
that with with TJ and some of the trainers. So
good news there. Thanks to Alan Saunders for for pointing
that one out here and.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Step in the right direction. I didn't think would be
to that point anytime soon.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
I think you and I both agreed that. Sorry, I'm
trying not to laugh. That is like ripping his headset
off every thirty seconds. I'm sorry, dude, I know he is.
He has sneezed more in the last three minutes. I
think that he has in the previous three weeks.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
And I'm not very dainty about it. I can promise
my family like takes the roof off the house at home.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Cartoon.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
But yeah, I had an uncle, actually married to my aunt.
Truck driver burly, very overweight, huge dude. He wasn't super tall,
but he was like a former boxer, like big masculine fella,
and he would sneeze like this. He would like wind
up like crazy and go. It was one of the

(09:24):
funny I'll never forget my whole life. Big truck driver boxer,
you know, right, Yeah, it's like the daintiest, cutest little
sneeze I've ever seen.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Well, your sneeze is not not, No, it certainly is not.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
They come past them, but who knows.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Okay, well, hey, if you if you need to break up,
you need if you need some reprieve, I'm here for you, buddy.
I don't need you. I don't need you passing out
on aarly a long three hours by myself, but you know,
encouraging I think definitely to see Alex back out here.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
I think you and I were both on the same
page of like we thought we're not going to see
him in training camp again, and no, I didn't think
so he's a full practice participant or anything today, but
step in the right direction, certainly.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Right, And a lot of these guys before, I mean,
they're not even listed. If they had to do a
practice report, he'd be listed as out. But that doesn't
mean he can't do something with a trainer on a
football field, you know. I mean like sometimes it's sometimes
it's very very minor or you know, they then the
next step is they'll start to do just individual or
something like that. You know, do some football type movement.

(10:25):
So I would say I hate talking about medical stuff
because I know I don't know. But absolutely it's a
step in the right direction. It's the first step, and
it's ahead of schedule from what I was guessing.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
I think I think that is fair to say you
and I do not have medical degrees. Anybody who ever
confuse us with having medical degrees.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
But injury is like my least favorite thing to talk
about in my profession because I know I don't.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Know same, and I think even more so if it
is a soft tissue related injury, right, or if it's
a concussion yeah, because those two things, there's no exactly, Oh,
you broke your bone, okay, four to six weeks, you know,
like there's no Will Howard, like, Okay, we broke a
pinky on our hand. We have about any idea of
what that timeline could look like as I do.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
See Pat Fryer, everybody listening but knows have as much
insight on that as me and you.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
We we will not pretend that we are medical doctors.
Certainly do see Mouth and Washington and Hayward still not
seeing john.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
I think it's not feel good about Johnny being out there.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Not feeling good about that, but again we will will
give you a more accurate attendance report when the guys
are all in line walk down the Oh did you
guys hanging out?

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Well, everyone started screaming and it wasn't for me and
that was for tej.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Come on listen, I know you've signed some autographs. That's
terrible tasks taking some selfies this camp all right, there's
been just a few. Yeah, as it looks like stretches
of warm ups are getting ready to get underway here
as some special teams period finishes up. We've got some
guys working on catching punts off the jugs machine. There's
Max Harlman brings one down offensive line to the left

(11:57):
of us in the end zone. Pretty much everybody else
now a kickers as well too on the far side field.
If you can hear that gun go off in the
background there, that means that warmups are gonna get ongoing here.
Then after warmups we'll have things picking up a little
bit in practice. About a half an hour from now,
we will have seven shots which will bring you all,
as always so plenty to get to here on the
final day of campus. Part of while I want to

(12:21):
take a break here matter too early. We'll let mac
his is cleared up and were back with more from
Chuck Nolefield here on the campus in Saint Vincent College,
West Uelier and Matt Williamson. It is Training Camp edition
of the Drive here on Steelers Nation Radio on the
Steelers Audio.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Brought along here at practice on the campus of Saint
Vincent College. We Shouoler and Matt Williamson with you until
five o'clock. That will be the conclusion of today's work
and the conclusion of this public portion of Training Camp
twenty twenty five. It all happens very quickly. What twenty days, Yes, no.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Looking back. It's like we just got here. But then
we were talking about like those rain days they seem
like a long time ago, you know.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
They sure do. And it's been a it's been twenty
days since we since we moved in.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Was it is that the timeframe?

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Yeah, okay, yep, twenty days since we moved in. And yeah,
it's eventful, it certainly is, and it does go fast
in a way, but it also can kind of drag
in a way.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
It's just a you miss home. I mean there's just
no way around. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Yeah, everybody knows. Everybody knows that feeling of like even
when you go on vacation for a week.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
I'm a homebody. I'm excited to get home. You're excited.
It could be anywhere in the world and still.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I completely i could have the best vacation ever, and
I'm still excited to get home.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
You always say, oh, it's good to be home.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
It's going to be home, And tonight when I burst
through that door, hopefully about six six point thirty, it'll
be It'll be good to be home, for sure.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Do not see John neu Smith out there now. As
we kind of continued to monitor, I'm also not seeing
why a black out there, which we will.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
Well, he's had a good game.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
He has had a great camp, and I feel bad
for some of these fans that are not gonna be
able to see him out here in this final padded
practice day, because man, he's gotten his hand on the
football almost every single day. He's been disruptive.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
He plays big. I mean he's a huge human being.
I mean there's a lot of big human beings out
on the field, but he's the one that like looks
the biggest, the imposing. And I remember it was a
long time ago. It was one of the first times
I started coming to camp. They had just signed Flow Adams.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Tu.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah, but like if you look at his combine numbers,
you know, his official height, weight, et cetera, he doesn't
He's not that much bigger than the other tackles on
the team or the biggest dudes out there he's listed.
I mean the official height and weight was like six
six three thirty. Okay, I mean that's not crazy. I
mean it's big for someone walking around the mall or McDonald's,
you know. But he was still so much bigger looking

(15:26):
than everybody else here. It was just some guys that
just carry their weight so different. Like I make a
joke all the time. I mean, I'm six soh two seven,
which is six two seven eights for all you're not
paying attention to home to eighty ish. That does not
make me an undersized defensive tackle, you know, or an
oversized tight end, you know. Right? And boy, these guys

(15:48):
carry it differently. And that's where I was going with
Wya Black. I mean he's big, he's long, he's got
like huge thick hands, and he plays big too. I
mean you feel his side and his imposing nature on
the field with other big men trying to move them.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
I think that ad is very well said, and he
is having himself a great couple of weeks here. I
thought he played down the preseason game down in Jacksonville.
Hopefully nothing nothing serious, Maybe just a maintenance day for him,
you know. I think they're more cognizant than ever now
Matt about not running he's into the ground this time
of year. I think that used to be a popular

(16:26):
mindset of you know, you got to build these guys
up and callous their bodies and make the young guys
earn their stripes and everything. And there's certainly some merit
to that, sure, but at the same time, you don't
want them, you know, just.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Showing to the rookie wall, you don't want their gas.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Like by the time the holidays roll around, you know, like.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
As great as McCormick and Frasier's rookie year were. I
think those last couple of games, and I know some
people interviewed them saying, boy, this is a long year.
I'm not used to this, you know. I mean, they're
they weren't at Ohio State or Georgia. You know, they
played deep into the playoff runs and.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Even Zach broke his leg. Yeah right, so spent a
ton of time rehabing.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
That, and the level competition went up that last month
of the season and into the playoffs. But still you
could just tell that rookie walls are a real thing,
is all I'm saying. And you don't especially a guy
like Black, who looks like he's probably the fourth D
lineman in the pecking order right now. He's gonna play
a lot, and you don't want him wearing down.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
I concur and hopefully that's all that it is. Is
just you know, needs maintenance day here, nothing too crazy.
But you're absolutely right, you don't want those guys weren't
wearing down. I think you saw that certainly from some
of the young offensive linemen last year.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
You got thrust into a lot of action, a.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Lot of action as you mentioned too, especially down the
stretch against the best teams in the league, and a
lot of games in short succession. I mean, those guys
never those guys never played three games in eleven days
now when they were in college or high school or
anything like that.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Frankly, nor should they or should they.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Absolutely, which is different conversation for a different time, But
I do think we're all on the same page on
that one. And I also so like I know I've
told you this story before, Matt, but I always reference
this when we talk about rookie walls and everything. I
will never forget my freshman year of high school was
when the Steelers won Super Bowl forty oh. Okay, the
one for the Thumb, you know, Jerome in Detroit, beating

(18:16):
the Seahawks and winning that super Bowl. That was Heath
Miller's rookie year. Okay, So the Steelers you know, played,
didn't have a first round by or anything, you know,
played every possible playoff game, wild Card, Divisional round of four,
playoff games the most as possible, plus a sixteen game
regular season.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
So as many snaps as you possibly can play in
many snaps.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
As in games as a team could have played. And
I will never forget this. At the Super Bowl parade,
you know, where, like my mom and I are there
and I'm like, he was a starter. Heath was a
starter as a rookie, my mom and at a physical
position as well too, like tight end right, And my
mom and I were there at the parade, you know,
with like half a million people that were there in
Pittsburgh that day. And you know how it always works.
They have the parade route and at the end there's

(18:57):
like a stage, you know, and everyone gets up on
stage and gives their speech and all that stuff, and
you know, Bill Coward talks and Jerome Bettis talks and
Joey Porter talks and all that stuff. I'll never forget,
Like it might have been Stan or you know, Pomp
or somebody like that. Like you're kind of hosting it all,
someone who's been hosting it all and doing media stuff forever.
And he They're like, hey, Heith, come up here, come
over here and say something to the microphone. Heath, your

(19:19):
rookie season in the National Football League, first round draft pick,
super Bowl champion. How do you feel, Heath Miller answer
was tired. I bet that was his an, Heath, you
just won the Super Bowl after your rookie season. What
an amazing experience. How do you feel tired?

Speaker 3 (19:36):
It's funny you bring him up, because I was at
Pitt that year and we played Virginia in our bowl game.
You know, that was like Larry's last year at Pitt,
and we were pretty good and we were both like
top twenty teams. They had Matt Schaub and then mean,
the Virginia team was good and they beat us, but
Miller didn't play, and as people remember, he was fighting
an injury all through the draft process never could work out.

(19:59):
So even his draft process was more strenuous than the average,
you know, rookie, which is incredibly strenuous to begin with,
which is really the only reason Steelers got him as
late in the first round as they did. I mean,
he's considered a great prospect, but there's no forty times
or you know. So he did not play in that
bowl game because he was injured and recovering from that,
and then he had to dig into all things the

(20:21):
riggors that you talked about his rookie year, and it.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Is, Man, it's it's a lot, and it's a lot.
It's a crazy process for those guys from the time
that their you know, college football season ends.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
I always talk about their timeline of the day their
college football their last college football season starts until the
day their rookie season ends. There's like a whole week's
break here and there, eighteen months straight. And most of
these guys have done their whole life and have always
had an offseason that year they don't, you know.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
And they have to pick up and move to.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Move and go to a million different visits, the different
exactly good Indianapolis and right, and maybe.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
You're from Alabama and you get drafted to Seattle or
you know, maybe you're from California and you get drafted
to Pittsburgh, right, New.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
England, I mean on the other side of the planet.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Basically, yeah, it's it is a lot of Oh, it's
it's insane. And yeah, I think they.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Are learning trading, you know, learning the playbooks and playing
against grown men and.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
You know, right, and there's more, you know, Shrine games
and All Star games, Senior Bowls and and you know,
the Combine every year becomes a bigger and bigger deal.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
I mean it's hard to even work out, you know.
I mean, especially these top guys that go to a
million different visits and all the different things they do,
and some of them also are like winning awards on
the banquet circuit, and it's like when do I bench press?

Speaker 2 (21:40):
You know, Yeah, when do I? When do I like
lift and and try and actually get better at my
craft and not just auditioned for the combine and like
really get down to the stuff I need to work on.
It's it's it's it's a head spinning process, I think
is the right way to put it.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
And hey, I'm the biggest draft guy am going, you know.
I mean I love the draft. I love the draft process.
And I'm guilty of this too, but fans definitely are that. Boy,
we had a drenk great draft class. You're probably not
gonna get as much out of that draft class in
your one as you expect. Yeah, I mean, it's just
asking a lot of the human beings.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Yeah, no, it absolutely is. And you know, there's like
less time for them in training camp than ever before. Right,
the pre season is shorter than ever before, and so
it's it's I'm hoping that, you know, to get back
to where we started with all of this. That as
we see Alex Hihsmith is jogging across the field doing

(22:36):
some gassers. That's a good size over the field at
the thirty yard line, running across the field. Also, Will
Howard was anything either look, yeah, smooth doing it. He's
he's like running the length of the field side to
side with yeah, width of the field. That's what I'm
looking for. Sorry, not the length of the field, the
width of the field one way and then walking back,
so it kind of you like not a full on sprint,

(22:57):
but definitely moving.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
He's pushing it.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
He's pushing it and then walking back. So good to
see him. Will Howard was doing some some movement right
here in front of us with with the quarterbacks. He's
standing right there on the thirty five yard line with
the with the with the white hat on. He was
kind of simulating going through some drills as well too.
So good to see.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
I think he's getting anty. You just just watched his
body language. You could tell, like point those two quarterbacks
played well, I could have been me, you know, I
don't get out there. But you know, it's a patient
thing too.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
It is, and you I think we all kind of
understand that, sympathize that where he's coming from. But yeah,
he is staying assertive, he's staying involved out there as
the quarterbacks are working with Tom Arth and Arthur Smith
right in front of us here.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
I was just watching Howard. They just gave him, uh,
some listening equipment too, so he'll be in on all
the play calls and all that stuff too, you know,
basically a listening device in his ear. So yeah, I
mean they keep these guys involved.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
They certainly do as they should. And yeah, it'll be uh,
it'll be interesting to uh, I mean see you know
what his and obviously we won't be seeing it like
we do here every day. But you know what, when
he gets back to practice, what that looks like and
how he can you know, hopefully still get some work
in here. Because as Arthur Motes would remind us, right,

(24:12):
this is not the end of training camp. Is just
the end of the public portion of training camp out
here at Satan Vincent College.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
So and as you mentioned a couple you know, a
week or so ago, two it's not like they're holding
a lot of stuff back here in terms of x's
and o's and play stuff. But when they get back
in the not i'd say some, Yeah, exactly some. But
they're not showing you everything either. I mean, they do
realize this is a public forum, and they're actually pretty
kind as a team. They don't have to have fans here.

(24:41):
They could just lock it down and say everybody's not invited.
I don't have there's no rule that they have to
be here.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
I've always wondered that, you know what I mean, Like
what I know that as long as like, as long
as mister Rooney is involved and Mike Tomlin are involved,
there's no questions that Steelers training camp will anywhere else
besides here.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
I would assume.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
But I do wonder, like if it's.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
That indoor getting built now too, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
That may that's a great point by you as well too.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
I do want to be only negative.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
I do wonder if they ever consider some kind of
maybe hybrid schedule even or something like that, where like,
you know, you can have some practices here, some maybe
two of them confines or whatever. But obviously those decisions
are way above our pay grade views.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
But I do think they ramp it up in terms
of specific game plan stuff, not game plan but specific
stealer only stuff that they really want to practice. When
they get back to the South Side, I guess i'll
be next week, right.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Which which will be next week, yes, because they will
have a closed practice more so of walkthrough type tomorrow morning.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Here is that here. It is here. It's not open
to the public.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Closed, it's here, I think, like not super early, but
I do think it's in the morning, like you know,
before before lunch. And then that'll kind of be the
wrap of camp. And then Thursday they will be at
Atrocuer Stadium for practice of course against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Friday day off and then well I think they might
have a walkthrough type of sorts.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
I think they do something yeah, yeah, not completely.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Off yet, but not a full practice if no will
and then Saturday preseason games Sunday off and so yeah,
it'll probably be Monday. It'll probably be six days from
now before they you know, really start plugging away down
on the South Side. I would imagine.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
Training camp from the South Side kind of officially, yeah,
kind of.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Closed doors training camp if you will, down there, And it.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Sounds like you, and I will be doing a drive
on Thursday too, yes, not Wednesday or Friday, and then
we'll get back that day. It's about the week after
that schedule and all that good stuff.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
I'm glad you. I'm glad you mentioned that we will
not have a show tomorrow, and we will have a
show Thursday, and then we will not have a show Friday,
and then we'll kind of figure everything else out from
from there going forward.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
And we're not broadcasting from the joint practice, we are not.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
So yes as let me see if I can see
them down here? Maybe he is he? Maybe overwhere the
defensive lineman over there on the forest Snow, those are
linebackers in the end zone here down here to the
left in the end zone.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
I think most of them are down.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Defensive lineman left. Yes, So do you see in the
end zone there there are two guys talking to each other,
both wearing black. One is wearing a white bucket hat.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
The guy to the left with the rap on his
arm is why you're.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
Black, okay, And I said, one's much bigger than the other,
so he has.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
He And you can see here's a kind of better
look at it if you if you want to see there.
Uh yeah, some kind of some kind of big rap
on his right.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Arm on his elbow. Looks like okay, so he's.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Out there, but he has he has a rap around
his right arm.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Okay, Okay.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Also, yeah, as we're just again trying to kind of
keep the keep the report accurate for you all, Ryan McCollum,
Spencer Anderson still out amongst the offensive linemen.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Spencer Anderson has been out a while.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
He has been out a while, which you would like
to see him. You'd like to see him getting some
getting some work.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
I mean, he's a guy that gave a two year
contract to this this offseason, so they liked what they
saw of him when they picked him up last year
and haven't seen much of them in camp to be
honest with you, And it seems like it's kind of
an underreported story, but I think they were counting on
him for key tackle depth.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
I think you are correct, And yeah, that's not something
that's gonna grab the headlines right right. It's not Cam
Award in a contract negotiation or something like that. It's
going to grab all the headlines. But I think that
that's a pretty significant thing to keep an eye on. Yeah,
as we see the quarterbacks and the wide receiver slash
tight ends going through some stuff real quick.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
And a lot of these injuries folks like if they
were playing in week one, if this was Jets week,
why you black might be five ago. You know, these
are just maintenance, Why bother? Don't push it?

Speaker 2 (28:45):
You know, it's a long season, Matt. I mean we're
still four week three, three weeks, four weeks away from
the first regular season games. It doesn't that seem crazy? Yeah,
it's like it feels so close, but then you're like,
I mean it's still really like four weeks away, a
little less than four weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
There is that week break after between preseason and regular season,
which is kind of nice.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Now, well, there's like the long weekend, and then there's
the there's the holiday weekend.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
There's a Labor Day weekend, right right.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Yeah, so it is. I think it's nice. I'm with you.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
It's it's my last chance, like recharge the batteries before
you get into the sprint.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Exactly right, exactly.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
I think the players look at the same way.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
I think, so too, nice holiday weekend and all that
stuff and all those you and I have been as
we discussed. I think like the first or second week
of camp. Who knows, when they go to the eighteen
game inevitable regular season schedule, maybe that will change. For now,
we will enjoy having that holiday weekend before the Steelers
will be up at MetLife.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
But meanwhile the team's cutting players and building. There will
be a lot of small trades around the league. Happened
that week a lot too, and you know.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
There'll make some surprise roster cuts too we didn't see
coming that you know, end up finding a new home
and things like that. So so just quickly for before
we go to break, to kind of recap the attendance
report that we've kind of had all over the place.
Darius Slade, Jalen Ramsey, JJ gallbreath back at practice today,

(30:12):
Calvin Austin, Ryan McCollum, Alex high Smith, obviously, Will Howard
and and and Cam Hayward not participating, him not participating,
same with McCollum and Anderson. I said McCollum there twice
y a black a rap on his right elbow, not participating.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
And again I haven't heard anything official on John new Smith,
but we have not seen him, so I think it's.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
I haven't even seen him standing with teammates or keep
an eye out. I'm not sure where he is.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
And to be fair, there's a lot of people out
here in black hoodies and you know.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
Yeah, it's easy to hide.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
It's easy to hide.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
Yeah, they're wearing the same colors and right.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
But but we do not he is not with the
tight ends right now as they are going through some
drills down in the end zone with the quarterbacks. We
will have in less than ten minutes for you, we
will have seven shots coming up here sooner rather than later.
And hopefully, like we said, I got a feeling today
is gonna be one of those practices where there's gonna
be so much going on. We're gonna have trouble consuming all.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Back on backers and all that stuff happening all at once.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Yes, which will be a lot of fun and uh
and we will bring you the whole, the best, the
whole shebang, Matt Williamson. So let's take a break here
and when we come back, we'll have a little seven
shots and things will really be picking up well. Shuler
and Matt Williamson Training Camp edition of the Drive Here

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Steal seven shots underway right up the gut on the
first rep. Jalen Warren and Aaron Rodgers was fired up
about that one. I wonder if maybe he checked into
something that right, because those that defensive line parted like
the Red Sea. And Aaron Rodgers was this pumping. He
was Tiger Woods out there.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
He checked the exact same Zach Wright play Indefensible. I
mean you and I could have actually scored out absolutely.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Jalen Warren was untouched right up the gut and the
offense started out that ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
Towel hanging off him from yesterday like dragging the ground.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
Maybe he did lose a bet y Jalen Ramsey and TJ.
Watt out there, which is great to see Sleigh and
Porter as well too. To Ramsey lining up in the
slot here, uh gain Weell checks in for Jalen Warren
operating out of the shotgun. Is Aaron ro Rogers snap
his back. He's looking right. He's strolling right to DeKay
and just a little bit out of his reach.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
A lot of pressure coming early too. Yeah, he'd get
that out and then he did, and then the timing
rhythm was all screwed up because of the defense.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
Defense certainly got in the backfield. That was that was
port of it was was up on DK metcalf on
the right side of.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
The end zone. That's challenge for these guys. You got
all three of those corners out there.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
It is, man, That's one of the things I think
you got to be excited about if you're a Steelers
fan this season, what those three are going to be
able to do.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
As uh left.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Going to say, Porter checking out for echoes, I believe.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
It looks like it. Yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Is Ramsey. No, Ramsey is not out there, so no, I.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
Think that the number one corners.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Sleigh is still out there. Ramsey and Porter have both
checked out. They're going slave jump darnell. My goodness, goes
up and gets it.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
Just a big old rebounder. I mean, Slay is a
highly accomplished corner and very good at his craft and
has been impressive out here. Yeah, and that's just a
fact that it's just a I'm just a lot bigger
than that.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
That's a power forward. That's a center grabbing a rebound
over a guard.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
You know what I mean exactly. It's just I'm taller, bigger,
stronger than you, and you can play it perfectly, but
I'm still going to rip this thing, this rebound down.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
I don't care how great Steph Curry is. He's not
grabbing a rebound over a seven foot five guess.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
As long as the throws in that neighborhood, which is
a little bit high into his outside shoulder, I don't
know how you defend it. You hope he drops it.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
It's about it, right, two to one lead for the offense.
Here is Mason Rudolph and some of the two's check in.
Now Rudolph the backside of the end zone for Scottie
Miller and it's intercepted there.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
Bye, let's see see who that is? Was went up
and snagged it too?

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Yeah? Was that Echles I'm not sure we're waiting. I
think by the way, twenty six yep, so that was
that was ecles nice play there. They're trying to argue
that Max.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
Hurl was that whoever's jogging off now? I think that
was thirty six or thirty nine?

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Oh was it Porter? Porter? Okay? I think it was
Porter that made the thirty nine. Okay, yeah, because thirty
nine is Daryl Porter. So a good break up there.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
As the two one defense as we said here too. Yeah,
I forgot what the Warren run.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Yep, that was the fourth rep there. Mason Rudolph looking
right again, throwing quickly again. In that time he finds
Johnson uh for a nice little quick route, quick hitter
there between one thorn Hill and James Bear.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Yeah, he sold the play action, flipped his shoulders around,
found exactly where were supposed to go football, got it
out real quick. That was well done by Rudolph. Tight
quarters too, it was.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
It was and so a good start here for the
offense so far. What I'd say maybe four to two
I think the offense, I.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
Think you're right. Yeah, at this point the interception and
then there was a pass breakupp by Porter.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
Other than that, pretty pretty solid showing from the offense
here in seven shots so far as Skyler Thompson checks in,
still operating out of the shotgun, and he's gonna hand
this one off right up the tray sermon.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
Pretty good size hole there, I think he gets in,
no matter what.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Pretty good work there, certainly as it looks like are
we gonna maybe run this back for a few more reps?
I believe so, as they are going to stay down
in the end zone here, a couple of changes, a
couple of subs for the defense, and let's see, looks
like the offense has has won the seven shots of

(36:38):
the day, but maybe a couple more. A couple more
reps here as well.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
Is this Skyler and the two slash three?

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Yes, I believe so. And we have a left guard,
Doug Nestor moving over to right guard after we saw
him get some center work yesterday, sharping at center, Stephen
Jones at right tackle.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
Good protection, ball comes out, quick touchdown. Yep.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
Good work there by Skyler Thompson. Good work by the offense.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Eight shots, I think.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
They I think they did eight. I think they gave three. Well,
I know they gave three to Rogers, three to Rudolph
and two two Skyler Thompson and man, I tell you
what of those eight, I think the offense probably won six.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
I think you're right, as I was going to say,
is the big story a week ten days in a
camp is man, the offense is getting a handed too
and they're getting embarrassed and it's really not even close.
Well it's a lot closer now. Yes, lastco practices have
been pretty competitive.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
I eat. I do think that if we're doing in
today's the final day of camp, so maybe it's a
good time to do it. If we're doing kind of
like thirty thousand foot view stuff. I think the offenses
grow throughout camp is.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
One of the things to note absolutely. I mean quarterback
looks more comfortable with the routes for chrisp or everything
about it. Now we don't have and we won't have
a wonderful feel for the run game. I mean that's
going to be Maybe they'll do some team run stuff today,
but I need to see that more in real games.
And that joint practice. We're gonna do that tackling drillty
do on the sidelines here now.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Now they got the pads on, we'll see, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
I wonder how if they thumped this is actually bringing
the ground. I doubt the actually bringing the ground.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
I don't think so either, But maybe we'll see a
little collision here as uh.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
Well done by or he's becomes such a better tackler
than it really has.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Does a good job of getting getting in front of.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
That one.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
Gainwell is just shifty man as uh Trey Sermon with
a nice move there on Chuck Clark.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
Clark got extended too much.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Evan Hall in front of us far side of they
doing some looks like maybe some let's see if it's
one on ones or two on.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
As we noted, sometimes offensive players do its gronic was
back to the defensive player there because there's special teams
background of course. Yes, yes, you'll see a white shirt
here and there.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
They'll switch some Some guys up here throughout this drill
is Robin Wilson.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
It was kind of shifty by him. I mean probably
he got pushed out of bounds but got a couple
three yards because of his shiftiness. Can make up movie.
That was nice.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
Good job, good job on that one there by Ushawn Williams,
Sewan Williams.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
Yeah, the undrafted he did some things in the game too.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
Yeah, he's another one of those guys that it feels
like we're saying, you know, more often than not during
practice at some point we're saying his name and points.
That's something.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Another one kind of been a saying I've had the
last couple of days, is let's let's get him here
again next year. Yeah, I'd like to see him run
back a second training camp with the team.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
You know, Yes, we had a we had a whole
list of those guys. Yeah, that's maybe that's something we
could recap on Thursday shows.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
Yeah, that's kind of thing we could do, you know, post.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Saint Vincent's Pierre makes a.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
Maybe even build our initial rosters and things like that.
Who's the bubble guys? Yeah, who's who's still got a shot? Yeah,
there's not many spots open.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
There's really not when you when you start to get
down to it, there's no there's only a couple of battles.
Here is the quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (40:04):
He came back. Half interesting to watch do this because
he's so big and you know, he's not going to
just run his shoulder into his teammate, but he probably wants.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
I'm sure he definitely wants. Yeah, as the quarterbacks down
here Matt from about twenty two yards out or trying
to hit the crossbar. Uh huh, little little accuracy drill
is Mason Rudolph.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
They usually get pretty competitive with this stuff too.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
It's funny.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
I'm talking, Oh Thompson, Thompson.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
Drill, Yeah, drilled it.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
The best was Rogers participating.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
He did. Hey, he took the and Thompson backs up
five yards and just misses it by a hair, just
misses it by hair. They're gonna let him run this one.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
Back used to do this too.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
I was pretty good. Say, my favorite part of this
quarterback accuracy drill was when Pouncy used to come home
and to go against his hands all taped in awesome
and he not all not often, but he every once
in a while would beat Ben at the drill, which.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
I say, it wasn't embarrassing, you know, like he was
pretty accurate for that.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
Which would always would always be.

Speaker 3 (41:04):
Be even the coaches are taking the shot.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
Now they're getting Tom marth in in the game.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Wherever that was nailed.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
It, somebody just nailed it. There was maybe that Tom
marth Uh he nails the second one. Oh yeah, he's
going back now. Thirty five yards twenty five yards part
of me.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
That was awesome. Who is that?

Speaker 2 (41:23):
I am not sure who that is? That tom Marth?
I think that might be Tom Marth. We left ask Labs. Yeah,
that is when we go to break.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
That was incredible.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
Aaron Rodgers is all the guys are giving him a
slow cless.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
Man.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
The fans three in a row, go back five yards.
That was awesome.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
That's pretty pretty good. So he hit, Yeah, he hit
from like twenty and then twenty five and then thirty.

Speaker 3 (41:42):
Yeah. He was feeling it.

Speaker 2 (41:44):
Just and very quickly too, like wasn't taking his Yeah,
he was.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
Like, I'm on a roll, I'm not doing I'm not
stopping that not stopping and well he hasn't warmed up
like these guys either.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
That's exactly right, exactly right. Stuff there.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
Someone nailed it there, yep. Someone did nail that was sick.
That was woodside, yep.

Speaker 2 (41:59):
Would so now from twenty five just missed it by
a hair. Rogers throws him football, says, I do that
one again. You were really close there and under shot
it on that one. All right, here goes Aaron, right
before we gain further. Let's see about fifteen sixteen yards
and he miss on the first shot it little too
much power there, second one a little too fo He's

(42:20):
just guys line drives trying to soft toss it on
the top of the bar.

Speaker 3 (42:27):
As Uh, you might need to rework strategy.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
I need to rework his strategy. I'm sure he's working
on something actually, but.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
I say he probably is some other agenda because he's
always Mine's always working a million miles an hour.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
Jalen Ramsey's working on his his ball carrying down here
on the on the sideline, h able to able to
make Johnson miss there and taunt a little bit with him.
As the guys have some fun here near side. Or
there were some offensive defensive line stuff going on still
is on the far field, but it's so hard to
pick out what's going on over there.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
But they're not one on ones. They're like three on
two's with a linebacker. Yes, double team stuff. When does
the linebacker engage that type of thing. But they're physical
to I mean they're going to the whistle.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
Mason Rudolph stepping up here, he siales one just a
little bit over the crossbar.

Speaker 3 (43:15):
Coach art. That was really impressive.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
It was very impressive, deserved, deserved, Uh, you know, tip of.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
The cap to Yeah, I say the fans recognized the.

Speaker 2 (43:23):
Legions out here hat Chuck no Olefield on the campus
of Saint Vincent College. As it looks like the defense
is starting to head over this way.

Speaker 3 (43:31):
Oh, whoever that left he was just hit it. We're
gonna throw again. I'm wondering if a coach or somebody
on staff. But it was not pretty. But the first hit,
I mean, he didn't even put his paper down the script.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
I like it when they just just step up and
knock it down. You don't need any you don't need
any help, just step up and knock it down.

Speaker 3 (43:54):
A physical stock block drill here too.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Yeah, between wide receivers and dbs. It looks like Roman
Wilson this one.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
I don't think there's gonna be a ball carry. I
think it's just get down there and block that down
there and block your guy.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
Now there's pseudo ball carrier.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
Again. The corner's gonna try to push him to the
inside of.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
The inside as we'll get Sleigh against Scotty Miller here.

Speaker 3 (44:25):
With Uh.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
They're asking everybody on the sideline to back up as
the quarterbacks will take a break and watch this.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
Very good job and disengaging, very.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
Nice getting off the block there from Scotty Miller. There's
now one thorn Hill. We'll see how he does here.
He's got some he's got some aggression.

Speaker 3 (44:47):
Of yeah, he's got a lot boom. Took that on
pretty hard, got rid of it. Nice job.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
Nice popped there with with Brandon Johnson.

Speaker 3 (44:56):
Thornhill was going to be real useful.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
I think so too. He's real one of those X
factor guys.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Yeah, another attitude guy.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
We've got linebackers and running backs doing one on ones
here on the right side.

Speaker 3 (45:07):
Couldn't get off that block Pierre.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
Wide receivers and DB's on the blocking drill on the
left side. Still have some defensive lineman and offensive lineman.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Woods did a number on Pierre there, he sure did. Yeah.
Woods is known as a very good blocker.

Speaker 2 (45:22):
Who's this defensive back here?

Speaker 3 (45:24):
He sure good job keeping his hands off.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
Yeah, that's the That's the only other part too, when
they're doing some blocking drills, that makes it equally as
difficult to figure out what the numbers are.

Speaker 3 (45:33):
Yeah, we'll be doing on the right here, one on one.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
We're doing one on ones. Yeah, running Evan hall with
a nice double move there on Mark Robinson.

Speaker 3 (45:45):
So in the receiving game, this backsorts factor isn't pass rush.
People think this the receiving stuff, which again really favors
the backs, but it's a useful drill.

Speaker 2 (45:53):
We've still only seen what one or two backs on
backers here on campus?

Speaker 3 (45:57):
Yeah today probably? Yeah, right right right. I think one
here in Friday night lights.

Speaker 2 (46:03):
I would love to see I'd love to see one
here on the last day of school. Is uh, go
go go nice Evan hall Man, he's shifting out of
the backfield there too.

Speaker 3 (46:14):
Mark Robinson a kind of tough time keeping up with
him a little bit.

Speaker 2 (46:17):
Let's get to our final break here of this first
hour of the show. More from practice ongoing when we
return here is physical rep between Deshaun Elliott and Connor
Hayward here on the on the near side. Yes, it
certainly is hour of the books. Two more hours to
go here on the final day of practice from Saint
Vincent College Training Campetition of the Drive, West Shooler and

(46:38):
Matt Williamson with you here on Steelers Nation Radio on
