Meyer while the rest of the offensive line was off
to the side, and the second team offensive line just
went in and Pete did not go in. So I
think what you might have speculated early on in the
first hour the show is correct, Matt, that we're gonna
see him out here today and some individual stuff, but
not quite up the speed enough to participate in these.

Teams right Like this is exactly what Aaron Rodgers did
in many camp correctly, you sat there intently with a
position coach or a coordinator. Not I'm not gonna go
out there in team, especially as a quarterback and run
the whole show. I don't I have. I've had the
playbook for a minute in the right, right right. But
this is how we do this. This is how we

call this. This is the adjustment we made. You know
what technique does the defensive lineman the line, but we're
gonna switch it up at the line. So you gotta
know these things. It's a very cerebral position. I still
been he plays Saturday, though.

because if he screws it up, he screws it up,
you know what I mean.

tweet in addition to Cam Hayward All Pro kicker Chris Boswell.

Privately, I guess not anymore though, right because that.

Was Chris Boswell has been seeking a new contract from
the Steelers despite being voted first team All Pro. Boswell
was the AFC North's lowest paid kicker last season. He
signed a contract extension three years ago that made him
tied him with Justin Tucker as the NFL's highest paid kicker,
but that market has also been reset in the past
two years.

Again, I don't have a problem with it.

I mean, he was basically the best kicker in the
league and had one of the best seasons ever in
kicking history. If people don't know, I mean, it was
a fantasticatic season, even on an old time scale. Aximize
your earning power. Yeah, I think it's a bit of
a misnomer that he was the cheapest in the division,
you know, I mean Tucker got cut now and you

know he wouldn't be again this year. Just because the
two Ohio teams are overpaying their kickers doesn't mean that,
you know, he's vastly underpaid.

I mean, like if you add a million ap y
do it? Yeah, then he's like right, right, Like, okay,
there's a million a year.

I don't know the extent of his deal. Just make
sure he doesn't go anywhere more guaranteed money possibly, or
just move some money around that one. That one doesn't seem.

room for debate and negotiations.

see him get a full slate of participation on Saturday.
As trying to see now if we can get any
any visual I do believe he was back kind of

The old lineman pulled out the big pad like they
were gonna do the tackling drill again. But I don't
think that's what's going on. I was curious why they

Roman Wilson far side field, standing by himself at the
forty yard line right now, Okay, throwing the football with
Kyle Powers, the equipment guy. So he's walking around.

Yeah, that's good. Newbe he's just kind of maybe he's
just gitting in the space and see what he can
do here.

Just you know something something felt a little weird and
get an extra stretch.

He's kind of walking by himself and just caught one
or two passes from the equipment manager. And is he
is he getting he's doing like something's bugging Yeah, something's
bugging him. He's doing some stretches and just testing himself out.
But he's still out there and in the far side field,
which I guess is a good sign.

Kind of acting like it's a growing the way he's
like lifting his left leg.

He's doing a little And now he's catching a pass
from Mason Rudolph and not really running but from a
standing position, standing around and he's dressing the ball in
the air, bouncing around a little bit.

So that's that's good to see. Although, yeah, he's not
doing a ton of he's not. He's not a statue.

He's not standing still, but not doing a ton of No,
he's not.

from the quarterbacks, but not doing much movement, just standing
still on the sideline.

And I assume that's why it's him doing it to
see test it a little bit, test, a little bit
run and exert it.

And I think I think you're absolutely right. I think
you are I think you are correct. But that'll certainly
be something that we that we keep an eye on
as we as we roll along here with plenty of
moving and shaking out of practice special teams.

As Matt mentioned, the offensive linemen are working on their
their tackling drill.

Yeah. I guess it's better than standing around chatting, but.

It is funny though, a lot of these times when
the when the defensive line gets a breather, the offensive
line is off doing something else.

They Yeah, I don't see them sit very sitting down
and drinking water and gatorade and stuff.

Yeah, and some of the defensive backs as well too.
But uh, the the big men on the offensive side
of the football are working tirelessly. As a little more
movement there from Rock.

I was find it interesting. You know, it's not like
it's late breaking news. But if you're a no lineman,
you play every snap. You don't ever sit down. If
you're if the offense is out there, you're like, I'm
gonna take this one breather. Yeah, he can do that
all the time, all the time. It's kind of an
odd an oddity of NFL. Yeah, if your center's tired,
you can't come out.

You can take a player too, but all the time. Yeah, yeah,
it is. It's funny how that all works, isn't it.
Uh Yeah, Still he's moving around.

Yeah. I don't think that's anything either he hasn't been

So that play is going to be blown dead before
it gets going, and I believe that will be end
