Speaker 1 (00:04):
At least he's the Drive with Dale Lolly and Matt
Williamson on your twenty four to seven home of the
Black and Gold Steelers Nation Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Welcome back. I am Dale Lollie. He is the Matt
Williamson and Matt it is now time here kicking off
our number two for the Fantasy football focus, and let's
let's try to pick guys who are actually going to
play and play the entire Yeah, let's this week.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
That's a problem in fantasy for everybody this year is
getting guys to play sixty minutes.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
I mean brutal. He made zeros and one guys leaving
early in game. Yeah, we would have finished in the
money last week. Have we not lost Marvin Harrison Junior
early in that game? That was a zero? Right, we
took a zero? Yeah, yeah, a concussion. So let's figure
this thing out here once again. Looking here at the
fantasy defenses, Steelers are number one in terms of the
(01:00):
most expensive Wow, so that shocks me a little bit. Yeah,
thirty seven hundred. Looking here at the bottom of this
the Buccaneers against Baltimore twenty three hundred, surprise their last
but yeah they're good defense. Yeah, Titans against Buffalo twenty
three hundred. That was actually not bad. That's a good
defense too. It's a good defense. And I don't know
(01:21):
how much Mariy Cooper plays this week. He's gonna play,
that's all they even now. But I think it's just
gonna be It'll be a smaller package than what Devonte
Adams plays Sunday night. I think Cook returns. Yeah, Panthers
against Washington twenty four hundred, that makes sense. They should
be last. Both those should be low. Cardinals against the
Chargers twenty four hundred, that's pretty bad. Giants against Philadelphia
(01:44):
twenty five hundred, that's not I don't mind that. They're
like the best pass rushing team in the league right now. Yeah,
they get as sacts. Yeah, see them next week. Cincinnati
at Cleveland is twenty five hundred. I don't mind that either.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Mind that either I picked them up in a Giants Ye,
there wasn't much to pick fro him. But yeah, it's
just a against Watson.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Uh, Seattle at Atlanta twenty six hundred, Houston at Green
Bay twenty six hundred, the Raiders at the Rams twenty
seven hundred, Miami at Indianapolis twenty eight hundred, Detroit at
Minnesota twenty eight hundred, Baltimore at Tampa Bay twenty nine hundred,
(02:21):
Detroit at Minnesota, Minnesota is twenty nine hundred. I can't
give my mind off, Cincy. I'm feeling that, I'm feeling
you on that you would just plug it in.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
I don't see anybody. Chubb may play a little. They
don't have Amari Cooper. Their quarterbacks are worse than the league.
Who's blucking hendrickson right? The quarterback they can't they have
it's like six sacks a game, it's by far the most.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
And they just trade their best receiver away, right, and
they I mean they rarely complete passes. All right, it's
plugged in. Yeah, twenty five have to be a great unit.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
If they get us five points, it's gonna make the
Browns haven't scored twenty points all season.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
All season, right, all right? That I bet that's shock.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
It might be, but it is just Sinnati defense, like
it's been bad. Quarterback Lamar is eight thousand, Jaden Daniels
is seventy six hundred, Jared Allen seventy five hundred, or
Josh Allens to say, yeah, wrong, Allen Jalen hurts seventy
three hundred. Stroud is seventy one hundred. Mahomes seven thousand,
(03:21):
Jordan Love sixty nine hundred, Burrow sixty eight hundred, Kyler
Murray sixty seven hundred, Baker Mayfield at sixty six hundred.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
They're gonna throw a lot. They are. They have the
second worst pass defense in the league in terms of
Fantasy points allow they're thirtieth, and fantasy points in terms
of the overall pass defense, Baltimore is thirty first.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
They have good receivers and Bakers will throw a lot,
and he's playing well. I have interested in that. Jruns
a little bit.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Yeah, Jared goff is sixty five hundred. Brock Perty against
Kansas City sixty four hundred. Kirk Cousins that game. This
game could be a shootout Seattle with Atlanta. Oh, I know,
Kirk Cousins is sixty three hundred.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
I think Atlanta windsay game. I wouldn't be I'd have
some interesting cousins.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Sam Darnold sixty two hundred two attacko Azon Joe Flacco.
He's not starting Anthony Richardson six thousand against Miami. It's
not bad.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
I mean he plays the whole game, which you can't
assume with him, right, he's gonna put up fancy numbers.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Uh, Gino Smith is only fifty eight hundred. It's not bad.
I think I'd rather pay for Cousins though, fifty eight hundred.
Though for the guy who's leading the NFL in passing
yardage in what you think is going to be a shootout,
they're big problems protection. But Atlanta does rush the past
with that. Well. Yeah. Aaron Rodgers fifty seven hundred. Matthew
(04:37):
Stafford fifty six hundred. Mymight have the mighty have fallen
here only Mackrock. I'm playing somebody terrible though, right Stafford.
They're playing Yeah, they're playing the Raiders.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah. Mitch t Risky is fifty five hundred. Justin Herbert
fifty five hundred. They're playing the Cardinals. Yeah, but they
might just run the ball. I think they would that game. Yeah,
Russell Wilson fifty four hundred. Mitch Trubisky cost Mitch more
(05:06):
than Herbert and Wilson. Daniel Jones fifty four hundred. We
don't need to go. Andy Dalton is only fifty two
hundred against Washington. It's a bad defense. It's a bad defense.
I think that's a pick. I mean, that's the what
are we doing here? Right?
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I mean a minimum he's in get garbage time unless
they stick Bryce all in the game and the fourth quarter.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
I mean that could happen. That could happen. It would
be sad, but you know, probably throws a lot. I
would think. So, I think he's a pick.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Do you go with him or do you go pay
up a little bit for Cousins? It's it's eleven hundred
dollars difference. I liked the Baker, I liked the Cousins.
I kind of liked Richardson to his cost.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah, Geno Smith. In between those two two fifty eight hundred,
I think I'd still picked Dalton. Dalton. We've got very
we got a lot of bunnies. We're a little roadhouse
here throwing Dalton in the lineup there we go, uh
running back and go running back a tight end. That's
two tight ends, all right? Tight end? You got Kelsey
sixty three hundred, George Kittle six thousand, Rock Bowers fifty
(06:09):
eight hundred. The Rams are thirty first against opposing tight ends,
are they? That's intriguing. Kansas City's actually thirty second, are
they really yeah, how about that? Trey McBride fifty seven hundred, uh,
Sam Laporta fifty three hundred, Dalton Kincaid fIF five thousand.
(06:30):
Goddard's not going to play. I don't think Tucker Kraft
is forty six hundred. Kyle Pitts, you want to get
a piece of that gaming forty five hundred.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
They are twenty ninth. Okay late against opposing tight ends.
He gets chunk plays Pitts and Bauers so far kind
of interesting.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Friar muth Is forty four hundred, Isaiah Likely forty three hundred,
Dalton Schultz forty two hundred. Green Bay is thirtieth against
opposing tacos No Nico, David and Joku forty one hundred.
I think he benefits.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
I think he's the only one that I think so, yeah,
because they'll throw it to him behind the line of
scrimmage and stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Watson I'll complete, Mark Andrews four thousand, Zach Ertz thirty
nine hundred. They're twenty fourth against opposing tight ends. Kobe Parkinson,
Kate Oughten Baltimore is twenty six against opposing tight ends.
Sure Kate Oughton's thirty six hundred just saying we've just
been cheap everywhere. Yeah, no offense is thirty five hundred.
(07:26):
Who do you like? I like a lot, Actually like
a lot of them. There's like five of them, and
I'm having a hard time keeping track of them. Am
I nogging? I mean, Bowers is the only game in town,
and they're thirty first against opposing tight ends, so the
expensive ones, he was definitely my favorite. It's only it's
fifty eight hundred. It's still under under budget. Under budget.
You know, he's gonna catch passes. I just still know
(07:47):
how much after the catch.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Stuff he'll be able to get because the whole world
knows he's getting the football.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
But he's trying to catch six. Yeah he might catch twelve.
He might, you know. I mean they're gonna throw in
the football a lot. I like him. I like it's
at forty five hundred. I just think he is a
low floor. Yeah. McBride isn't bad. At fifteen seven, I
thought of too, Yeah, let's go about new Bowers. Yeah,
let's doers. We haven't spent much. We still can spend
(08:13):
sixty one hundred rested away. I think we can probably
save some money at running back here Saquon Barkley is
eighty two hundred against the Revenge Game. Revenge Game, Kyle
Williams eighty one hundred. Derrick Henry, they don't call anybody, no.
I don't love Henry against Veya Jordan Mason seventy six hundred.
(08:34):
I guess they think he's gonna play. Kansas City's number
one against opposing running backs Kenneth Walker seventy three hundred,
Joe Mixon seventy two hundred, b Jean Robinson seventy one hundred,
James Cook Is seven thousand. I don't like that against Tennessee, though,
Jamiir Gibbs sixty nine hundred. Minnesota is second against opposing
running backs, Bryce Hall sixty eight hundred, James Connor sixty
(08:58):
seven hundred. The Chargers are sixty or six against opposing
Devin at Chan sixty seven hundred, David Montgomery sixty six hundred,
Isaac Garrendo sixty six hundred, Viece Cheba Hubbard sixty five
hundred against Washington Bay. We already Dalton, though, I am
going all in on Panthers. Josh Jacobs against Houston is
(09:23):
sixty four hundred. They're fifty against opposing running backs. Brian
Robinson against Carolina sixty four hundred. If he plays, he's questionable,
would bind Eckler cheaper than that? Though Tony Pollard sixty
three hundred, He's the only show in town. Spears have
been ruled out. JK. Dobbins sixty three hundred against Arizona. Oh,
I love that, Yeah, Singletary sixty two hundred, forty minutes
(09:44):
of time possession that game, Tyrone tracy Is sixty two hundred,
mostert Is sixty one hundred, Kareem Hunt six thousand, Nauseee
Harris six thousand, eklar Is fifty nine hundred. I like
that one. Chase Brown fifty nine hundre hundred. I like
that too. I think he's starting to take that backfield
over a little Bucky Irving fifty nine hundred, Zach Moss
(10:05):
fifty eight hundred.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Before I lose my train of thought here because I
got a bunch of names on TI my time, I
throw a couple out at you, Kyron Williams, but that's
more of a vote against the Raiders. Some interest in
a chan Chase Brown, echolar, and I love Dobbins. Any
(10:29):
of those float your boat.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
I want to spend down a little bit at running back. Okay,
there's some guys here, some of these ones I mentioned
at the end there though, Chase Brown, Echolar Dobbins. We
go even cheaper if you want. Tyler Goodson is fifty
four hundred. Oh he's gonna play. You might play a lot.
Taylor's already out and Sermons banged up. Yeah. Yeah, he's
been the better option in Miami's twenty six against opposing
(10:54):
running backs. I'll be shocked to be scores, but that's okay.
He might get a long one.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
I think he'll catch too, assuming the quarterback can hit him.
That's the only thing that's scrazy scares me about that.
I wish Flacco is playing for that. Yeah, I mean,
I'm just worried about goal line vaulting too.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
I kind of like Jaleen Warren this week at five
thousand and two bad again. I think it's kind of
out of sight, out of my mind with him. I
guess those are the ones that kind of stand out
to me as cheaper. I can't think if there's anybody
else seems way too cheap to me. I mean, we
could pay up for one of those guys and then
(11:30):
just yeah, I don't think he was just above. He
was sixty. He and Pollard were both sixty three hundred.
And I love both of them this week. I mean
they're both. I mean there's no Gus Edwards, the only
the only difference. Buffalo is thirty first against opposing running backs.
(11:52):
Arizona is twenty third, and I think Pollard will catch
more passes, So if even game script doesn't take more pass,
game script doesn't take him out of the game.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
I didn't know the numbers, but I was over here
thinking I'd rather run against Arizona than Buffalo. Just eyeball
test and their lines.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Better, much better, and the quarterbacks better.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
If you do them both, well, then that's over budget
on both both of those players for what we have left,
and we're gonna have to go cheap at wide receiver.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
And I don't want to go cheap at wide receiver.
You wanna go Dobbins, Yeah, all right, Dobbins and Warren,
Let's go Warrnton. Warren's actually cheaper. Oh that's my next question.
All right, that gets us. Now we can spend an
average of sixty three hundred per wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
In the flex three spots, right, that's three spots in
a flex SO three and flex or two and a
flex three receivers in a flex we can average sixty
three hundred Justin Jefferson eighty five hundred against Detroit, which
is twenty nine against opposing wide receivers without Hutchinson. Jamar
(12:59):
Chase eighty four hundred Cleveland is twenty third against opposing He.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Looks great too. A Monroe. Saint Brown eighty three hundred
Minnesota is thirty second against opposing wide receivers. AJ Brown
eight thousand. Cooper Cup is seventy nine hundred. Sounds like
he's playing. Stefan Diggs seventy seven hundred, Malik Neighbors seventy
(13:25):
five hundred. Philadelphia's twenty six against opposing wide receivers. He
has no injury designations. Tyreek Hill no is seventy three hundred.
I don't care. Mike Evans seventy two hundred, Jaden Reid
seventy two hundred. Evans off the They're both listed as questionable,
but they're probably gonna play. Devonte Adams seventy one hundred,
(13:47):
Sejat Godwin seventy one hundred again Baltimore thirtieth hey. Udwin's
as good as Evans. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
I mean, if I had to pick one of them,
I'd just take the cheaper one, and he's a cheaper one.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Devonte Smith sixty nine hundred. Okay, Drake options Drake London
sixty nine hundred. A piece of that game, yeah, Terry
McLaurin sixty eight hundred. DK metcalf sixty eight hundred. That's
too cheap for DK metcalf. I think mclaurin's a decent
option too. Deontay Johnson sixty six hundred. If he's questionable,
it would be our hookup. Garrett Wilson sixty six hundred.
(14:23):
That's the only thing that scares me about Dalton. What
if Deontay Johnson doesn't play, Yeah, that would be a problem.
He's listed as questionable.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
He played through the ankle injury he held out of
practice Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Truly questionable ahead of the four o'clock kickoff. I don't
like that, but we might need to pivot off at Dalton.
Garrett Oilson sixty six hundred. Zay Flowers sixty six hundred
against Tampa Bay, Yeah, they're twenty seventh against opposing wide receivers.
Tank Dell sixty five hundred that's great. I love that. Yeah.
(14:55):
T Higgins sixty four hundred. I like that too, Za
you're worthy sixty four hundred, Brandon Ayuk sixty three hundred,
Michael Pittman sixty two hundred one Del Robinson sixty one hundred,
Khalis Shakir six thousand, uh, Jamison Williams six thousand. Okay,
they're badigans. Jackson Smith and Jigba fifty nine hundred.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Who's jumping out? Here's there's a bus? I got too
many trying to keep him sword in my mind.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Amari Cooper fifty eight hundred, George Pickens fifty eight hundred,
Darnell Mooney fifty six hundred, Jordan Addison fifty six hundred,
Calvin Ridley, New Romeo Dobbs fifty five hundred, Keon Coleman
fifty four hundred. Tyler Lockett is fifty three hundred, but
he's questionable. Jaylen Waddle fifty three hundred. Alec Pierce is
(15:46):
fifty two hundred. Pretty cheap for Jayalen Waddle. Yeah, well
they can't throw.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
The football no, right, at least they're coming off with
nothing though, inlity nothing.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Slayton is fifty one hundred Xavier Lagette fifty one one hundred.
Who are some of the price your guys? You like?
Speaker 3 (16:03):
We can come down to some others. So many, so many,
so many. Yeah, unfortunately you gotta pay for him. I
think Godwin at seventy one hundred is just too cheap.
A really good one. I'm gonna plug definitely something of
that passing game.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Yeah, I like London. Yeah, I like Metcalf. I wouldn't
mind a piece of both sides of that game.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yeah, I prefer London of the two, but I got
no problem with both.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Tank Dell at sixty you've seemed too cheap. Yeah, sixty
five hundred for him is still just a little bit
over budget. I got no problem with it. Okay, plugged in.
That gives us we can spend fifty eight an average
of fifty eight hundred on the last two spots.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
I think there were running backs in the five thousand
range that we were kind of fond of. Yeah, you
want to pay up for another for another one to
get out of the wh topic, though, we can do that.
That gives us an average of fifty six quarterback. Who
else we liked there was? I remember we liked Baker,
but we liked some. I think Herbert we mentioned Herbert
(17:10):
was fifty five hundred, were right in the same neighborhood
in terms of cost.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Yeah, they can blow them out though. Oh yeah, I
forget the quarterbacks we liked, but there was a couple,
you know, Stafford Stafford fifty Stafford at fifty six hundred.
I don't think it's bad at all with Cup, with
Cup coming back against the Raiders defense.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
McVeigh after bye, mcvagh after bye. I don't love I
don't I don't hate that at all. No, I wouldn't
mind any ram action. I don't want to pay for
Cup yet. Yeah, fifty six hundred, Okay, yeah, yeah, I
think there's a decent floor there.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
I know he's only throwing three touchdown passes thus far,
but I think that changes this week. I think so.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Yeah, all right, so that gets us we can average
a fifty six hundred here the rest of the way.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
We need another wide receiver Jackson Smith and Jig was
only fifty nine hundred. Yeah, it's fine.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
I mean, I'm gonna believe you should Locket's questionable and
Lockett's questionable.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Yeah, he's gonna get the ball. I expect a lot
of points and that came to yeah, and then a flex.
We got fifty three hundred to spend on a flex
that would get us into well Locket DeVonta Foreman, Jaylen Waddell,
Za Charbonnet, Sam Laporta, Braylan Allen, Alec Pierce, Ray Davis,
(18:32):
Dontavian Wickx, Jalen Wright, Darius Slayton Taylor with San Francisco. Yeah,
what are the algierre?
Speaker 3 (18:41):
What are the vikings against tight ends on Laporta twenty
fifth mm?
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Interesting? Yeah, we could actually plug Laporta in a tight
end and where that leaves us and see where that
takes us. He seems cheap. I like that idea. Okay,
so taking that out putting Laporta. Laporta done next to
nothing at this point. But he had a touchdown last week.
Say sorry, he might be turning the corner a little bit.
What the heck is he at here? I'm way down
(19:08):
in Okay, So fifty really cheap considering what we thought
of him going into season. All right, So that gives
us then fifty eight hundred to spend on the flex,
which should get us into a better neighborhood. Yeah, I
would think Amari Cooper Zach Moss, George Pickens, but brock
Bowers in in the flex. Yeah, I mean that's face
the same. Yeah, yeah, And we could change that if
(19:31):
we decided. Trey McBride in the flex fifty seven hundred,
Darnell Mooney in the flex.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
I think I like power's better than all the receivers.
I think I might too, So we just basically, yeah,
we just switched their spots.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
But yeah, I'm fine with it. So that's Matthew Stafford
at quarterback at fifty six hundred with Cooper Cup coming back. JK.
Dobbins at sixty three hundred, Jayleen Warren at five thousand
at running back, Godwin at seventy one hundred, Tank at
sixty five hundred, and Jackson Smith and Jig But fifty
nine hundred at wide receiver. Should get the targets there,
(20:06):
Sam Laporta at tight end at fifty three hundred, brock
Bowers in the Flex at fifty eight hundred. Just look
at him as a wide receiver. Yeah, and the somehow
I have the Browns defense in there. Instead of Cincinnati,
we went to Bengals defense. I'm glad I saw that. Yeah,
I think I got that backwards that's the problem. Yeah,
(20:28):
the Bengals defense is actually much Where are they at?
The Bengals defense is thirty three hundred. I screwed it up.
I read it backwards. Oah, so we got we can
get the Giants defense in there at twenty five. Look
at Sacks. Okay, we ben left over. No, that's it,
(20:49):
spend it all. I'm fine with that. So again, Stafford Dobbins,
Warren Godwin, Dell Smith and Jig but Laporta Bowers and
the Giants defense.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Okay, we didn't pay up for anyone massive, but we
don't have any cheap cheap guys either.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Yeah. I mean our cheapest guy really beyond the defense
is Jalen Warren. I think Jalen Warren is gonna have
a good game. I think he'll catch a handful of balls.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
Yeah, you know, and okay, I'm gonna lock it in,
all right, log it up.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
Locked in. Need a winner this week? We do, we do.
But uh, let's get to a break. He is the
Matt Williamson. I'm Dale Lollie. You're listening to the driver
here on the Steelers Audio Network. Matt, and I'll be
back with more right after this.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
At least He's the Drive with Dale Lolly and Matt
Williamson on your twenty four to seven home of the

Speaker 3 (22:22):

a real flag football is style of game too.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Nose tackle, turn full back. Yeah Yeah. It's time to
take a look at this week's games. Matt kicking off
except for this one, the nine thirty am game in London.
Don't forget to set your fantasy lineups. If you got
somebody the one in five Patriots at the one in
five Jaguars, Jacksonville favored by five and a half, the
(22:52):
over under forty two and a half. Drake May didn't
show up in our fantasy report there because it didn't
include say a No One for that game. It didn't
include the early early. I wouldn't mind the Drake Man
this game me too.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
I picked him up last week. I think he's really
good for fantasy. In particular, he's be voll little. I
don't want Jags be favored by that much over anybody.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Yeah. I like that they stayed there. They're there. Yeah,
that's that's the one.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Yeah, that's the one touched the game. I think they
probably end up winning. The old line that the Patriots shotted.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Out really bad, really really bad, like guys have never
heard of bad.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
But Jacksonville the Saints last night was was the alongest line,
but just terrible body language, like don't want to be there.
I never felt the Saints had any chance to win
that game, and I felt the same last week with Jacksonville.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
I didn't want to talk about that game. That game
was awful, brutal, brutal. It was like watching that that's
what would happen if you put an NFL team against
the college team. Felt that, especially in the second half,
just like know in the stadium, function could win right right,
can't function at all. That's what always kills me when
people said, well, this so is, this team is so
this college team is so good it could beat the
worst NFL team.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Couldn't chance. I mean the Saints last night would have
beat Bama. Yeah, you know by far right.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
At three and three. The Seahawks are at the four
and two Falcons Atlanta favored by three. The over under
fifty one and a half.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
I think Atlanta beats him by more than three. That's
a rough road trip.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Yeah, Seattle's trending the wrong story. Yeah, they're hading the
wrong way. Yeah, and I'm wondering.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
I don't know if they're gonna be Tyler Lockett sellers soon,
but they might be a loss away from moving a
guy like that. They got really bad cap situation next year.
Atlanta's trending the right way. I do think there could
be a lot of points in it. I think it's gonna
be a high scoring game here. Yeah, yeah, but I'll
take I'll lay the points. Yeah, three points at home.
All right, that works. Seattle's had a lot of d
(24:44):
line injuries. I'm not sure where those are at right now.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
The Titans at one and four, are at the Bills
at four and two. Buffalo favored by nine and a half,
the over under just forty and a half. It's a
lot of points. I think I'll take the points. Buffalo's
Buffalo's defenses and great.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
If le Levis rows two picks six is Oh, that's
the that's the right cavey, that's the outlier there, Like,
what is he going to do?
Speaker 2 (25:08):
That's the thing that would worries me.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
But I'm gonna take the points, just thinking defense will
keep it close.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Yeah. The best thing that could happen for the Titans
is something happens to Levis or he gets picked twice
or three times or whatever, and they turned to Mason Rudolph. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
I was looking for some Levis news because I saw
something pop up and I was just not finding it.
He's questionable for today's game. Ah, well, there you go.
Maybe he's Maybe it is Mason. We should hold you
out there, will If that's the case, I'll take the points.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Yeah, I'll take I'll take nine and a half. Yeah, Yeah,
it's a lot. Bill's coming off a big Monday Night win.
Short week, Uh, short week. Yeah. Bengals at two and
four are at the brown one in five. Browns Cincinnati
favored on the road by five and a half. The
owner over under is forty one and a half. Joe
Burrow one in five in his career against the Browns.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
About to go two and five. I have no problem
lay in those points. I mean, I think the Browns
defense will be on the field so much. And I
think Garrett's dealing with the foot something or other had
that all year, He's through it. I think it's both
feet or something something strange about his feet to eat
surgery after the season.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Trey Hendrickson. Deshaun Watson's going to be wearing Trey Hendrickson
so much it's going to look like he's wearing Trey Henderson.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
The Browns points come from unless there's a pick six
or something. Defensive score. Yeah, all my leagues in the
Browns defense dropped him.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
And I will say.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
This, the Bengals have an NFL worst forty seven defensive
success rate against the run. Every other team in the
league is above fifty percent.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
So thirty one sea what that means for thirty one
teams basically, in a nutshell, are happy more often than
not when the opponent runs the ball. Okay, the Browns,
not the Bengals. Right right, run right, there's another first down.
There's another chunk on first down.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
But I do think that again, this Browns should be overset.
The Browns haven't scored twenty points all season. I don't
know if they get to twenty in this one either.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
I don't think so unless it's a defense or special
team scorer. I really don't.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Yeah. At five and one, the Texans are at the
four and two Packers. Green Bay favor by two and
a half. The over under forty seven and a half.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
I don't want to touch it. I think they're very
equal teams. The line is telling me that. I think
it's about right.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Yeah. I need to see what's what's up with the
jay R Alexander. Not that he's great at this point
in his career, but they could use him.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
It's gonna be good to watch two young, fun quarterbacks.
I'd probably take.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
I lean towards Green Bay at home, but it's more
of a watch it. Don't bet on a type game. Yeah,
at two and three. The Dolphins are at the three
and three Colts Indianapolis, favored by three. The over under
is forty three and a half. Richardson's back in the saddle.
I kind of like the Colts because I don't think
(28:01):
the Dolphins can function offensively enough to beat anybody.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
I think they run for one hundred and fifty plus
yards behind Nelson and I don't even care who the
backs are, but Richardson, Now, I do think there's a
chance coming off a bye that against a such a
heavy cover three team in a dome on a fast surface,
McDonald comes up with ways to get waddle hill and
a chan in some kind of space. I mean, Huntley's
(28:26):
not the worst quarterback on the planet.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Is No, that would be de Sean Watson. But right,
I got the Colt he couldn't make the roster in Cleveland,
but right, he'd be better than what they got. He
just saw sideways. I mean even when he was in Baltimore,
ninety percent of his passes were sideways. And he's not
a rhythm to Nope at all, not at all. It's just, yeah,
it's a bad matchup. Yeah, I like the Colts at
(28:52):
home At four and one, the Lions are at the
five and o Vikings Minnesota, Minnesota favored by a point
and a half. The over under is fifty and a half.
Do we think the Vikings get to six and oh
or do the Lions catch them?
Speaker 3 (29:05):
I think the Lions can control things with their O line,
and frankly, if the Vikings are getting points, I'd take points.
I mean, if it's one.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
The only thing that worries me about this on Detroit's
side of things is you're now dealing without eight and Hutchings.
Oh that's a massive, huge So like taking TJ.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Wat out of the Steelers, I think they might be
favored by one and a half on the road with
Hot yeah, I mean he's been that good and he
can close out games. It's a massive concern. And you're
giving a good coach two weeks to prepare and at
home that place is going to be insane. I just
some betting on the Lions O line and run game
kind of neutralize some of the flora as factor.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
I'm gonna take the Vikings. Yah. Yeah, I believe they're good.
I don't think they're a fluke. At three and two,
the Eagles are at the two and four Giants. It's
a Saquon Barkley revenge game. Philadelphia favored by three on
the road de over under forty two and a half.
I guess I like the Eagles in this one, but
(30:03):
I don't love them.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
I like the home dog. I wish Andrew Thomas was playing.
That's gonna be a big deal when we start previewings Giants.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
That's huge because the rest of their road line can
function well when he's one on one with a good
edge guy. But I think their d is better than
people think. No, it's a good defense. It's a good defense.
Neighbors is back. But I think Saque, especially after all
the stuff that you saw on Hard Knocks and all
I saw, he's gonna be highly motivated in this one.
Go off. Yep. The Raiders at two and four are
(30:31):
at the one and four Rams. The Rams favored by
sevens is such a big line. The over under forty
three and a half seven points. Should they be favored
by seven points over anybody. I still am taking them,
but I was shocked to and I saw that. I
thought it'd be four and a half, you know, I
thought it a lot of points for a bad team.
To lay. I know. I mean the Rams aren't. The
(30:52):
Rams defense is really bad.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
It is, but coming off of Buye, I think Karen
Williams runs for a lot of RS cards. I mean,
and we have Stafford and thrown the cup. I think
the Raiders are broke.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
They might ken't pick the Raiders No, I hear you
on that, But can they stay within seven? Right?
Speaker 3 (31:10):
I mean maybe if it was seven and a half
or eight, I can get there. But we also have
brock Bauers in our lineup, so I think that's all
they got. I've said that four hundred times in the
last two weeks.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
I kind of like the Rams too, I just yeah,
I can't. I can't bet on that Raiders team. The
one in five Panthers are at the four and two
Commanders Washington favored by eight, the over under fifty one
and a half.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
I can see Washington won this game like thirty five
to nothing, but I think it's going to be more
like thirty five thirty two.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Chuba Hubbard might run for one hundred and fifty yards. Yeah,
I think.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
The Panthers offense is going to put up points and
this is going to be a fun back and forth
and then they'll lose in the end, so I'll take
the points. Yeah, Okay, Deyontay batters though Theyontay doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
Back to our last segment, and they just lost the
Washington just lost Jonathan Allen.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
For the year. Yeah, I mean that O lines up bad. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Those guards they paid a lot of money for. And
you know I not trust in Jaden Daniels.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
There.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
You want Washington, I'll take Washington. I'll take Carolina. It
was over a touchdown right eight?
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Yeah? At five and oh, the Chiefs are at the
three and three forty nine ers San Francisco favored by
a point and a half at home, the over under
forty six and a half. I'll take the home team
in this one. I think they're more desperate. I would
not bet on it.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
I really don't have a strong feeling, but I think
Mahomes is like fifteen and one when he's a dog
or something crazy like that, and Andy reid off a
bye is like one hundred and two hundred to one,
And I'm just picturing Reed walking around the halls going,
you know, they think they're better than us. Hey, Pat,
you know we're an underdog this week. It doesn't happen
(32:49):
much in Kansas.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
City, doesn't know.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
I also think the Niners are a sleeping giant. I
wouldn't touch it, but I would take the points. Whoever
got points in that game, I'd just take the points.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
At four and two. The Ravens are at the four
and two Buccaneers some Monday night or right, yeah, two yeah,
one to two Baltimore giving three and a half points.
The over under forty nine and a half place can
belubed up. We know Lamar doesn't typically lose too NFC teams, right,
(33:21):
but three and a half on the road.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
I'm gonna take the Ravens. But there's two things working
against him in my opinion. Is Baker Godwin Evans. I
mean I think that they will throw for yardage and Vidavea.
I mean Vidavea won't affect Lamar's life all that much.
But the Henry Uptam Gut stuff is gonna be.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Harder than usual.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Yeah, I mean he's gonna Linderbaum's a really good player,
but he's seventy pounds less than that.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Like, I don't know that I want to touch a
lot of these games this week.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
They're just good ones at but there are over unders
that are out there to be had here.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
I would take the Ravens, but that's the right. Just
knowing lamar Our record against NFC teams, I would take
the Ravens as well, but I'd be more inclined to
that forty nine and a half going over. Yeah, I
don't know the either team stops the other one. Yeah,
we can see that. I don't think Tampa even tries
to run your second Monday night game, you be.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
Yeah, that's a great thing about the two.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Kind of like that one stays on the iPad and
the one's on TV. The three and two Chargers are
at the two and four Cardinals. The Chargers favored by
two and a half. The over under is forty three
and a half. I really like the Chargers in that game.
I think they run for a million yards. They'll be
the more physical team.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
Yeah, I think they're yeah better coach. I think their
defense is pretty legit. It's under under a field goal.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
Probably the better quarterback, although they don't call upon them
all that much. And I think they're o line rules
to day. Yeah, I'm with you. I think I like
the Chargers in that one, even though I don't necessarily
love that Chargers team. They'll be the more physical team
and they will beat the uh they'll beat the Cardinals
up at the line of scrimmage. Yeah, I think that
Cardinals to eat. It doesn't have enough players. Yeah. Yeah.
That's this week's slate of games except for we're one
(35:01):
which we will get to right after this. That would
be the Steeler game against the Jets. He is Matt Williamson.
I am Dale Lolly. You're listening to The Drive here
on the Steelers Audio Network. Matt and I'll be back
to preview that one give our picks right after this.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
This is The Drive with Dale Lolly and Matt Williamson
on your twenty four to seven home of the Black
and Gold Steelers Nation Radio.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Welcome back to the Drive here on the Steelers Audio Network,
and of course you can hear The Drive on the
Steelers Audio Network every Monday through Friday from four to
six pm. You can also download the podcast on demand
on the Steelers official mobile app, or you can watch
us on YouTube, which apparently, again we're idiots. Some people
say that, others say no, but we appreciate you watching regardless. Yeah,
(35:58):
at two and four, well before we get to the
Steelers picking the game. Got the Steelers injury report here.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Wow, okay, that came through already. Yeah, so it'll be
a pretty good clue. What's gonna say?
Speaker 2 (36:10):
But all right, Yes, Roman Wilson limited again today. He
is questionable. That's a bummer, but yeah, be really shocked
he plays Nick her Big out, Zach Fraser out. We
knew that early in the week. Uh. Montrevious Adams added
to the report today, limited participant today with a knee issue.
(36:33):
He is questionable to play. Dylan Cook still on on
the injured reserve list right now. He got a full
practice though in today he's listed as they activate him
over the weekend, well they could, but they've listed him
as out. And then the only other guy listed is
out is Cordero Patterson, who still did not practice. So
(36:53):
to Heismith, we knew. Prove what we knew. Warren's fine.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Okay, Yeah, so Roman Wilson and Montrevia Adams are the
only kind of game time decisions.
Speaker 2 (37:02):
We'll see what happens with those guys. I don't love
that new news on Adams. And typically what Mike Tomlin
will do will he'll downgrade a guy Saturday or upgrade
them Saturday, Yes on the water, how they feel, get
a little more knowledge, clarity, clarity. So at two and
four Sunday night, the Jets are at the four and
(37:23):
two Steelers. The Steelers honoring the nineteen seventy four Super
Bowl team alumni weekend. The Jets favored by two, the
over under a thirty eight and a half.
Speaker 3 (37:37):
What do you got, met I got twenty two seventeen
New York. First time I've picked against Steelers all year.
I think it's going to be a really good game,
and I could see it going either way. I just
think New York is desperate, desperate, and they got a
lot of dudes that have had a lot of success
in this league and realize two and five at kind
(37:58):
of cut it figs, you know. I mean, Tyron Smith's
not had a good year, but he's been a good player,
and I think he knows on a national stage how
desperate times are. And I bet they're feeling it from
ownership and and all that stuff. And I wish Zach
Fraser was playing. I mean, I don't think McCollum played bad,
(38:19):
to be honest with you, but one they had their
the old line injuries are making.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Me the thirty six yard touchdown run that Naujee Harris had, Yeah,
came with McCollum in the game. Yeah, it was to
play after Fraser got hurt. They ran the ball up
the middle, remember, and he bounced that to the outside.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
So I think McCollum was quite good off the bench. Yeah,
all things considered, I just wish the old Lion was stable.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
And you wish for that all year long, I know,
wishing one hand and New Year, you know, right the other.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
And I do think Wilson will handle that better than fields,
you know, in terms of man my right tackle or
my left guard or whatever it is having.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
A really hard time. I got to make adjustments.
Speaker 3 (38:59):
But I there's a chance Wilson's a little rusty too,
you know. I mean he hasn't played in a real
game in a while. He still would be my pick.
And if he looks terrible, I'm not gonna be like, oh,
he was just rusty, guys, I was right. Who knows.
I mean, we'll see what. I don't see how they play.
I think the Jets are dangerous right now.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
I do too, And like I said, I've gone back
and forth on this game all week long. It's more
than a point. It's two points. The injury report for
the Jets. I don't love with the with that secondary
I'm getting from the that's the strength of that defense again,
well not necessarily. It is a strength a strength, it's
(39:38):
a strength, and it's the way that they're set up
to play is to allow their defensive line to get
after people because they know on the back end they
can just play coverage. And if they can't do that,
I wonder how it affects how they play defense.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
I mean, I have optimism for Austin, Jefferson Wilson, but
that's not exactly.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Mahomes and superstars. It's not. No, no, it's not. I
hear you. Yeah, I'm gonna go a similar score to you,
kind of in that same range. But I have this
one going.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
Over a little bit. You were right, would you say
twenty seventy you were one point? Oh yeah, point over
thirty eight and a half. That's not been enormous Steeler
games this year.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
No, I think I've gone under every game too. I
think the Steelers are under. I think I think the
Sunday night games unders are thirty two and ten on
Sunday Night Football since twenty twenty two including six and
oh this season interesting, I wonder why that is. I
bet more unders have hit in general. Here's the thing,
and we talked about this yesterday when when the we
talked about the officials and Sean Smith's crew is officiating
(40:47):
this game. They've called eleven and a half penalties on
average per game. That's one of the lowest in the league.
The Jets are highly penalized. Yes, they have given up
the most penalty yardist in the league. They're the second
most penalized team. The standalone games this season have seen
more penalties called because as we saw last week at
the Jets Bills with that in that standalone game, we
(41:10):
had a lot of buzzing in from New York. Yes,
for whatever reason, and whether they get to call right wrong, No,
that's right, this is wrong whatever.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
I'm not even sure why we have red flags anymore. Yeah,
we're just gonna buzz in and fix things, and why
we even throw flags, right, so we could see maybe
maybe it is the standalone games with the penalties, because
I do believe you know, if I haven't researched this,
but the standalone games, every one of them this season,
it seems like twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
Penalties Jets Bills set the record. Oh, unbelievable. This is
a dumb question. Does more penalties mean less or more points? Though?
I think it means less points.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
I mean because they're holding penalties and things, you know,
false starts and just to say, but the Jets leader
the league and DPIs that leads to more points the
third most. But oh okay, they have a bunch. Yeah, yeah, okay,
I mean holds it, anything goes back.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
But this is a crew that hasn't caught a lot
of DPIs. They've only called two. So does that benefit
the Jets? Does it? You know? I don't know. I
don't either. I don't either. Does it benefit the Steelers?
I don't know. I mean, can you just grab a
hold of DeVante Adams at the at the top of
the route and just say, okay, you're not gonna catch this, Yeah,
I mean, get away with it.
Speaker 3 (42:17):
They call in a lot of holds on Watt and
Quinn Williams and high Smith and cam or not. You know, Yeah,
both these D lines are better than both these O lines.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
Yeah. I was gonna go well, I'm still gonna go over.
I'm gonna take since you took the Jets, I'll take
the Steelers. We can't both agree on this. I'll go
Steelers twenty three to twenty. I can't wait. I'm looking
forward to this. I think it's that close to a game.
I think it could go either way. It could be
(42:47):
a turnover here or there, it could be a I
do think the Steelers have a big advantage on special teams, Yep.
I think that's absolutely important, and to me, I think
that matters in this one, especially in a game that
I think might be a field position type I mean Vegas.
Speaker 3 (43:01):
Since it's a two point game. Yeah, special teams is
gonna matter. Yeah, you know, I think it is no matter.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
And I think the chasm between the two teams on
special teams is large, is massive, one of the best
advantages going Yeah, without for either team. I just think
that the Steelers special teams units against New York's special
teams units couldn't be any farther apart. It's one of
the best, first one of the worst. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:24):
So maybe, I hate to say, are they going to
block a kick for a third consecutive game?
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Maybe, but I don't. I don't trust zero line at
all to make kicks, make a big kick on the
road at night at Akrocher Stadium. Right, Yeah, we don't
think of any weather, right. I don't think it's supposed
to be nice on Sunday. Okay, I thought it all weekend.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
But it's still gonna be saying it's been nice during
the day and it's gotten colder at night. We're still
getting down into the forties and thirties night, so it
is going to be chilly. I don't think aither one
of these teams care about that. Yeah, and Rogers Playton
Green Bay.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
Aaron Rodgers twenty eight consecutive games under three hundred passing yards.
I saw the longest active streak in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (44:06):
Yeah, let alone by his standard. Yeah, he was awful
closed last week. He was close, he didn't get there.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
Yeah. I think they're gonna pressure him.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
Oh, I think he's gonna get hit. Yeah, I think
he's gonna get hit. I think he's gonna get hit.
The quarterback must go down.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
In fact, that might be one of my guarantees on
Sunday that the Steelers are only averaging two point three
sacks per game this season.
Speaker 3 (44:23):
It's a weird prediction, and I'm not hoping for it
or anything. But it wouldn't shock me if Rogers doesn't
finish the game. I mean there was a couple times
this past week, right, a little slow getting up.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
Yeah, And he does not look happy or comfortable at all.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
He hasn't looked happy all year, Right, he hasn't looked
happy in a while, but he just looked. I just
geta I can't get past the fact, Matt, that this
is a team that lost to Denver in a in
a game in which they gave up minus seven passing
yards in the first half.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
Oh yeah, they've had some low moments. I mean, that's
about as low as it get.
Speaker 3 (44:56):
You gave up negative passing yards without a sack in
a game.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
For a while, and you lost ten to nine. I
know Denver's got a good defense, the Steelers absolutely, And
that leads to fired coaches. Yeah, that leads to fire coaches.
So again, again, I don't have a strong feeling one
way or the other about this. And I just think
that this injuries in the secondary to the Jets are
a major issue in the Steelers special team's advantage. And
(45:25):
you know, the Jets have been a highly penalized team.
Maybe they do a lot of stuff. They're minus one
and takeaway or give away, the Steelers are plus seven.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
These are traditionally two quarterbacks that don't turn it over much.
We haven't seen Russ all year, but Rogers has turned
it over.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:40):
I actually the biggest advantage of Steelers have maybe it
kind of has gone without saying all week, is Watt
and Heismith against their tackles.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
Yeah, I mean we talked about that earlier. Yeah, right, Yeah,
I think those guys cam against anybody on their interior.
It doesn't matter. They're okay. But he's great. Yeah, he's
playing maybe the best football of his career right now.
I think that's the Steelers' biggest advantage of game. Probably
special teams is next. Get the two old guys together
in the backfield a couple of times, smashing them. Yeah,
(46:08):
Rogers is the oldest player in the league. You know,
he'll be forty two in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (46:14):
I thought, I think his body's hurting, and uh, it
sure looked like against Buffalo. The way people talked about
Cam Hayward in the offseason, you thought he was the
oldest player in the He's not even in the top ten.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
Se Does that include kickers, kickers, specialists, long snaper's much.
A bunch of long snappers are in their late thirties.
But he's not even He's not even in the top eleven.
I looked it up the last time. I'm like, where's
he ranking. I'm like, he's not even on the list yet. Okay,
I do love that advantage. He's playing really well.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Oh, he's playing phenomenal. Yeah, I think the best players. Yeah,
So we'll see how it works out.
Speaker 2 (46:49):
On Monday, we'll be back to uh well, talk about
a Steeler win or a Steeler loss. Again.
Speaker 3 (46:55):
I'm with you if, if, if the Steelers lose this game,
there's going to be a certain set going to people
out there who are going to say, see, I told
you so.
Speaker 2 (47:02):
They should have stuck with Justin Fields. Honestly, in this
game again, in this particular matchup, I'd rather go with
the better passer. I would too. I would too.
Speaker 3 (47:12):
That doesn't mean he's going to play great, or he
might be the reason they lose. I don't have a
crystal ball.
Speaker 2 (47:16):
But I do think down the road you're going to
need the better passer again, if you want to get
past the Ravens, who have the number one run defense
in the league. You're gonna have to be able to
throw the football effectively.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
You're going to beat the Bills and the Chiefs and
the teams that you need to beat. Yeah, he can't
be one dimensional.
Speaker 2 (47:33):
No, he can't be that. That team and you're averaging
one hundred and sixty passing yards per game right now
and change. This is what they set themselves up for.
We'll see what Russell Wilson looks like in this game.
I expect a quicker passing attack, maybe some quick slants
and things of that, who knows. I expect Jaylen Warren
to be a factor out of the backfield.
Speaker 3 (47:54):
Yeah, yeah, he's really good. We kind of forget about that,
but he's really good.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
Yeah. I think he's been out of side, out of mind,
and you know, I expect Firearmouth to be a little
more involved this week too. And the tight ends in general. Yeah,
just a stable of them. We haven't seen Michael Prewit
out there, and those first two games of the season
when Michael Prewitt was out there, he's playing a lot. No,
he plays a lot.
Speaker 3 (48:17):
He was you know, outstapping fire mooths at times and
things like that. I mean he plays, does a lot
of little things for them. He may not have a
great stat line, that's all said, but helps with.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
He's a good blocker. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, that gives
you two plus blockers I think on the edges with
him in Washington. Yeah, so Washington's gonna be important in
this one too, I think so as well. That's gonna
do it for the show today, Matt good Week. Absolutely again.
We'll be back on Monday to wrap all this up
and talk about that and moving forward and getting ready
for the game against the New York Football Giants the
(48:47):
following Monday night. Can't get enough of these night games,
but by New York too. Yeah, we'll see the Steelers
celebrate the nineteen seventy four championship team, a fifty year
anniversary of that. So that'll be fun to see a
lot of those guys coming back and enjoying the evening
and getting a chance to relive some of those memories.
(49:07):
I'll be doing the alumni dinner with Craig Wolfley. Oh yeah,
we'll have a little radio show from that starting I
believe it from five to seven thirty on Saturday night.
So he cantinue to do that is that act. You sure, Yes,
that is act for sure. So we'll get all the
guys on there. They'll be bringing them over to us,
and Teresa Varley does a great job with that. But
for my partner Matt Williamson, for Justin Miller here on
(49:29):
site keeping us on the air and running the Justin
Miller hotline, and for Tyler viitt Meyer here making sure
our video gets out there so all can comment on
the show and watch it and enjoy it and share
it and do all that good stuff. I'm Dale, Lolly.
We appreciate you listening to this edition of The Drive
on the Steelers Audio Network.
