Speaker 1 (00:07):
We're coming to the end of list season. It's honestly
a miracle. No, it's nice. It happens every year. But
we got through it. We never made it.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
We never really finished our own list of ranking guys
on the team, ranking guys around the league at.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Position to point that out, it's fine. It was a
busy obviason. It's fine.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
And here's the other thing. Lists are boring. They are,
but sometimes they are good.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Rage bait and guess what they have succeeded.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
I think this latest one from NFL dailies from NFL
Podcasts top twenty five players of the last twenty five
years is one that definitely gets Steelers fans and I
think just fans of football in general pretty mad. Before
we get to that, though, I also want to look
at the NFL Execs, coaches and scouts rank of the
(00:55):
top ten quarterbacks in the NFL for twenty twenty five
before we get to that. It's been a couple of
weeks since this happened, but I have to throw this
out there. An unfortunate firework accident over the Fourth of
July holiday.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Huh, Najie Harris cutting one in the eye.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
You know it's funny every year the NFL is on
watch or the sports world is on watch, which which.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Athlete just because of JPP?
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Right, which athlete is going to pull the next JPP
and blow off his fingers? And it's never it's never
been as bad as Jason Pierre Paul like when he
literally lost like four of his five fingers. Yeah, but
naj buddy.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
He never missed a game in his career, and I
don't think this is going to be a risk for
him to miss in any kind of time here for
the Chargers. In fact, I saw since they are at
camp right now, that he isn't even opening up on
the physically unable to perform list at training camp for
(02:05):
the LA Chargers. Look, I don't know how it happened.
Maybe he'll answer the question, but we've all who amongst
us hasn't gotten in a bottle rocket fight?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Right?
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Hasn't gotten in a fight where you point the bottle
rockets toad the other person to shoot him at each other?
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Who who amongst us hasn't done that? Right?
Speaker 3 (02:27):
And of course you have to have someone standing by
with the fire extinguish sure to.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Put him out, put him out, Put him out, put
him out.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
What's that one should it's from I think you should leave? Yeah,
that's what I'm referencing. Or no, I think it's from
Detroiter's actually not I think you should leave.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Well, see, I wasn't even going on add direction. I
was going with the og the.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Put a reverse terry, all time legendary clip. But yeah,
Naujie Harris catching one in the eye, having the fireworks
incident happened to him. It is really amazing that every
year there is such now a yper awareness, not just
with athletes but in America, like don't lose your fingers
this weekend, like don't blow up something, and don't.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Be that guy the one guy can't help it.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
There's always going to be like there's probably like a
thousand of those guys just across this great country of
ours that are now walking with less extremities because of
the you know, bottle rocket fountain five thousand or whatever
they got from Fantom fireworks. Let's get to this quarterback list.
So this is from execs, This is from front office members.
(03:33):
This is from coaching that have some pool coaches, yes, scouts,
guys that should know what they're talking about. And it's
a top ten list of quarterbacks, and there is definitely
some intrigue here. Starting at the top, Patrick Mahomes still
takes number one, and I think you could make an
argument now more than ever that he is.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Anty number one. But I also think that you put
him at number one, you're not gonna get a lot
of pushback and you're.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Really gonna have a lot of good ammo in your
sure for why he's number one. So they still have
him sitting at the top of the mountain. Number two
is Josh Allen, reigning MVP this year and has literally
done basically everything but beat Patrick Mahomes. Then you have
number three Joe Bibrow, and then you have number four
(04:23):
clucking into Lamar Jackson. So we've said several times on
this show, and we're not the only people to do it,
but like there is a clear top four, there is
a clear amount rushmore and that's exactly what they laid
out with their one through fis those it was those
four guys. I personally think you can literally put all
four of these guys in a hat and draw one
(04:43):
out and I could like be assigned to debate him
being number one, and I'd be very comfortable doing it like,
I don't think any one of those guys I'd have
to stretch too far to do.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Now, did you see what Warren Sharp among others? But
Warren Sharp most notably pointed out on the ESPN list
because it shows like where they ranked, like at after
averaging all the votes, shows the highest ranking they got,
and it shows the lowest.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Someone put Lamar at number six.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
See, I feel like you can't put anything anymore lower
than four. Those four are just tallid at null one
through four.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
So what two guys are in front.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Of the mar Yeah, it's tough to speculate. What could
that what could even be the case for that? But again,
like I said, like I draw Patrick Mahomes out of
that hat, Yeah, it's a little bit of an easier argument.
I guess I got the rings. I'm the all time
great already, Maybe I draw Lamar out of that hat.
I've won two MVPs, I've transcended the game as far
as the way I played the position. I'm the greatest
(05:50):
running back quarterback to ever play the game, not even
close to thirty yet.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
So I pulled Joe Burrow.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Out of the hat, and he might be the toughest
one to make the case for a number one, Right, No, MVP's.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
In his court.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah, but he's been to a super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
He has the Cincinnati freaking Bengals as a relevant team
every single year now, and it's just undeniable that the
numbers are insanely good. And all it would have taken
last year for him to really maybe take that MVP
from Josh Allen was for him to revive his dead
in the water team and get into the playoffs. If
he did that, it would have been a definite, I
(06:26):
think discussion. And if they would have just been a
normal team based on the numbers he put up, like
winning twelve and thirteen games, like teams that always do
when the quarterback plays that well, he would have won
the MVP last year.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Right. So it might be the.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Toughest case to make, but you can make it, and
they can sell. You can draw him as he's the MVP.
He's of course he's the number one. So all of
these guys could have a claim to the top spot.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
I think right now, I know it's you know, this
is revisionist history. I'm not trying to say like, oh,
I'm changing history. If Joe Burrow won one more game,
he would have been in the playoffs. He would have
won MVP over Lamar and Josh Allen correct. If the
Bengals had won one more game, it would have been
in the playoffs and Joe Burrow would have had the MVP,
(07:08):
And then who knows what would have happened in the playoffs, Like,
maybe it's not Lamar versus Mahomes an AC championship game.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Maybe it's not. It would have been Joe on the road.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
But you remember the first time he got to the
Super Bowl, he had to go on the road in Kansas.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
City and Buffalo and both stuff. Yeah, all right, Number
five is where this list kind of gets a little
or the potential to get a little. Sure, go ahead,
I just like making that noise. So they put Jayden Daniel.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Yeah that's too high for a rookie or a guy
who's only played one year.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Yeah, it's a lot of credit being given to Jayden.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Considering and this is kind of spoiling CJ. Shrouded to
make the top ten. How are you gonna say, like
we were all in on CJ. Strodoud to his rookie year,
and now after his second year, we're saying, you know what,
we may have done the gun. He's not really a
top ten quarterback yet. How can you then put Jayden Daniels.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Here's what I'll say, that's top Remember last year we
were looking at the when Jane Daniels got to the
NFC Championship game. We were doing a show and we
looked at the other quarterbacks that had gotten to the
NFC or AFC championship games as rookies, and of course
our guy Ben popped up, and Sean King from Tampa Bay,
Joe Flackgay for de Raving. All those teams had Sanchez
(08:35):
popped up, legendary defense, and the quarterbacks.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Numbers weren't that great.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
And then you looked at Jayden Daniels and their defense,
and Brock Party was the other one, and you look
at Jane Daniels and it was like defense is average,
like league average to a little bit above average. It's good.
Daniels is fantastic. Like the numbers are through the roof.
So he had a better rookie season than c. J.
Stroud died numbers wise, and he had better team success
(09:01):
than CJ. Stroud did. I still think this is too high.
If you want to put Daniels in like at the
top ten towards the back end of the top ten.
I completely agree with that, because I think he is
that up and comer and I think he has next.
But I think number five is a little bit too aggressive.
He comes in at number five in front of number six,
Matthew Stafford. So that's the oldest, you know, the elder
(09:24):
statesman on this top ten list. And I think that
makes sense for Matt Stafford to be number six. I mean,
the Rams, who have a lot of offensive acumen in
their front office and at their coaching position, just gave
the man over fifty million dollars. They have to think
that he's still got some juice left in the tank.
So Matt Stafford comes in at number six, which I
(09:47):
think is okay for staff.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
It might be a little high. Herbert at number seven,
that's a little high, I know. Well, so again Tom
doing if it's a little high, can you do me.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
The favor in telling the telling the list again? Let
me repeat how it says the highest ranking the player
received in the lowest.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
For Herbert, tell everyone, the highest ranking he got was three. Yeah,
that's and then unranked was the lowest ranking that he unranked.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Whatever I'm not upset about that one, but he is not,
right now, a top three guy.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Back to our point about the highest ranking thing, and
how I said you could take a name out of
a hat for the top four, all four of those
guys in the top's highest ranking was one. Yep, Like
every single one of them at least had a voter.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
And so the other point I made, so Lamar i mentioned,
was ranked as lowest six. Burrow was the only other
guy from that four, but he was ranked five five.
Still agree just to put someone ahead of either of them,
but it's worse that Lamar had two people ahead of
him in that top four, or keeping him outside of
(10:51):
that top four rather.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
So number eight is Jared Goff.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Credit to the team, Like that's that's a marriage ranking, right,
That's like Jared goffin the Lion's not really Jared Goff individually.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
And then number nine is Hurts though, and from your
logic right there, credit to the team. What are we
doing then? But it hurts? Sure, credit to the team.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
But you heard what Sirianni said yesterday, right, He's he's
really fed up with all of these Jalen Hurts is
a product of how great the Eagles are as a whole.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Look, I think you could have ranked Jalen Hurts as
high as five on this list.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
I mean, I think we talked about to start this
episode how we didn't really get to finish our player
position rankings. But the one we started with, which is
the smartest to start with every year, is the quarterbacks.
And we put Jalen Hurts at five because outside of
those four, he's the one with a ring, and there
he has a ring over three other guys in that group, Lamar,
(11:51):
Burrow and Allan all don't have rings.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Yeah, So.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
Jalen Hurts at nine, a little a little low. And
then number ten is Baker Mayfield, which I think is his.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Highest was five. Id. Baker's a beast. It just makes
me happy.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Yeah, I mean obviously, but he is not only has
he you know, gotten that last laugh on the Browns,
but I mean he's also just a really good quarterback.
And now you know, dude, there was a point where
you looked at Baker and you were like, you're the
one of the worst number one overall picks.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Ever, No, not even close. Now he's very successful about it.
He is.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
He is one of the few guys who has that
nine figure contract in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
And Tampa bay Man. I mean.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
They have been able to navigate the quarterback wilderness that
I talk about all the time very well, incredibly well,
Like they keep finding like these amazing magical creatures behind
these trees that they like discover and it takes them
to the Promised Land almost every year. Like obviously they
nailed it with Brady, like they got the Golden Goose
there and won the lottery or whatever.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Reference.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
But then to graduate from Brady and transition into Baker
Mayfield and remember when he first started there was a
position battle between him and like Kyle Trask to be fid.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yeah, and they never in that transition period never lost
hold of their grass with the division lead.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Nope, they still are the like raining years running rainning
champs of the NFC South. Honorable mentions were CJ. Stroud
as you said, and Jordan Love. Then some other players
that received votes for this was Kyler, Murray, Rock Party,
Dak Prescott, Aard Rudgers to Uh and Bone Nicks.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Those are all guys that could be borderline top ten. Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
Dak Prescott probably if healthy would have been on that list, right.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
I think Dak Prescott, you mean up higher as opposed
to the also receiving votes because he did votes.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Well, I'm like an honorable mention if not number ten
to ten.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
But healthy, I mean, people just have this stigma against
Dak anyway, like they don't like him anyway. So when
you can put him out of sight.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
You're gonna you're gonna do it, Yeah, easily, like when
he has the potential this year adding George Pickens to
his receiver corps.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
When he's healthy, the Cowboys have had the best offense
in football, Like they put up more points than.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Right they average like what two years ago, like thirty
seven points. Yeah, and then he choked in the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
But regular season wise, and that's a lot of what
this list is about because that's the most sample size
you get from these guys, is what they do in
the regular season. Yeah, Dak when healthy is really good.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
I'm really interested in what bo Knicks does in a
year two with I think.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
That team is good, That's what I mean, Like the team.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Overall such a good team to great team maybe and
head coach that if Knicks can just take that next
step forward, then I think they can be a really
dangerous team in the AFC.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
All right, let's get to the list. That's rage bait.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
So I talked about NFL podcast NFL Daily put out
top twenty five players over the last twenty five years.
Makes sense, right, looking at the calendar, it's twenty twenty five,
a couple weeks to kill before.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
There's a lot of like quarter century.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Yeah, I mean got time to kill. We got camp,
it's still a couple of weeks away. So number one
was Tom Brady. It's a layup, right.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
It's yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
I mean, here's only one guy who could be considered
number two, and he's number two.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Maybe Patrick Mahomes number two, Peyton Manning three, Aaron Donald four.
And I got no problem with the list so far.
I think that you're to looking at three quarterbacks that
make sense. It's the most important position in all of sports.
You're looking at three all time greats here, Tom Brady,
Patrick Mahomes and Peyton Manning.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
And then you're looking.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
At maybe the modern day argument for the defensive player.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Ever, I mean there's an argument that you could put
him above Peyton.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Yes, I agree with Aaron Donald being above Peyton. I
think it's also the guy that you chisel into Mount
Rushmore right now with Lawrence Taylor, and you throw probably
Rod Woodson up there, or Champia e Leye or John
Sanders a corner of your liking and then just you know,
throw it me and Joe Green up there too, because
of course, you know that's what you could say, is
(16:20):
the defense of my rush for Sir Donald belongs there.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Number five, you got jj Watt. I'm okay with that. Yeah,
I'm okay with it.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Aaron checks in at six Rogers, he's four time MVP.
It is funny to see him with a Steelers logo
on this list though, because that's how they published it,
with like the current logo. So we got number six,
isn't that great? But number seven is ed Reed, Number
eight is ray Lewis, so they can put the Ravens
boys there.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
And then right after that is where I have a problem.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
I have a problem a little bit before that maybe
well sure, okay, fine, but let's go through the rest
of this.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Randy Moss is number nine, so he is the first
receiver that checked on the.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
List, and I got no problem with that. Darryl Reeves
can't hate on that. A pitman, you know, his head's
on straight, and that rounds out your top ten. You
got Gronk at number eleven, and I'm okay with that.
He's probably the best tight end ever. You could argue
that Joe Thomas at number twelve. While Joe Thomas is
(17:21):
very great, I have a problem with him being number
twelve on the list of the top twenty five twenty
five years. Calvin Johnson Megatron at thirteen, Keickley at fourteen. Okay, Keithley,
yeah on this list, but yeah, LT number fifteen. I'm
glad to see some love for LT because remember they
did that other you know, all twenty five year ten
(17:43):
on the right, who was Tom's right right, Drew Brees
at sixteen, Adrian Peterson at seventeen. You got Julius Peppers
at eighteen, you got Zach Martin at nineteen. Then you
got Miles Garrett at number twenty.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
Then you got Lamar at twenty one, Walter Jones twenty two,
Hall of Fame tackle TJ.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Checks In at twenty three. Uh, you got t O
at twenty four.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
Where you get and then you get to twenty four
and you're like, wait a minute, t O is down here.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
I've saw a lot of names.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
Before that are he's way better or more prominent than them.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
And then you got.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Travis Kelce at number twenty five. Now the big problem here.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
He's in that six, seven, eight spot. Well, and it's
with Troy Paulamalo. Yeah, And one, how is he not
on the list? What I was just gonna say? Two?
Speaker 2 (18:33):
How do you put Edred and ray Lewis back to
back as high as seven and eight and not even.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Not include Troy? Right?
Speaker 3 (18:39):
And I'll say this, this really has to be a
case of I forgot about Troy.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Has to be a case.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Of because how do you put on like no offense, none, none,
whatsoever to guys like TJ, Miles Garrett, Troy's better?
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Like, yeah, look, I love TJ.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
I can make an argument that James Harrison was a
better player so far than TJ. Watt was And You'll
be like, what what do you mean? And I'll be like, well,
he has a dep hooy too.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
And he's the greatest play in Super Bowl history arguably,
and he's got the rings.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
So you've got the sack record, I guess, but James
Harrison got a hell of a lot more sacks too.
And James Harrison became kind of like that urban legend, right,
that mythological Oh yeah, he was just a scary dude.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
It doesn't matter how many times he actually hit the quarterback.
You were always afraid if you were going up against
the Steelers, purely because of number ninety two.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
So that was a big problem for me. Obviously, Troy
palm Malla belongs in the top ten. So this is
definitely a case if I forgot about Troy Palms.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
I mean, it's ridiculous that.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
And then the other one is where and again, this
guy's got his head on straight.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
He's went to a great college.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Where's Larry Fitzgerals Again, you referenced already that whatever all
time team, the quarter century team that left off lt
also left.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
The man has the second most receiving yards in the
history of the NFL. No one's gonna touch Jary Rice's record.
It's just never gonna happen. I don't think that's gonna
be really standing the test of time. So getting to
number two is like, really the best you can do.
And Larry Fitzgerald did that Arizona and a few years
(20:27):
of Carson Palmer, a couple of years of Kurt Warner,
and a whole lot of Kevin Cobb and.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
A lot of that.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
Yeah, great call that that is what he had to
work with to become the second leading receiver in this
great league's history. Honestly, you might want to put Larry
Fitzgerald in the top five when you really put it
into that kind of context. So that was disappointing. And
then I'll throw another one out there. And this is
just going to keep happening on lists like this over
(20:54):
and over again, and when it comes time to Hall
of Fame too, it's gonna happen to him. I think
AB has a strong sure on this listen, and you
know what, I think Ab is better than him. But
I also don't see Julio Jones on this list. Yeah,
he had amazing, amazing NFL career.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Now, some guys that you would take off, I would
have no problem taking off Joe Thomas, Zach Martin, Walter Jones.
I know they're Hall of famers, or at least Walter
Jones is and Joe Thomas and Zach Martin.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Wilb will be like, you don't need to put a
lineman on this.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
I would listen. I would take off Garrett. I would
take off j Off Watt. I would think i'd take
off Kelsey too.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Because those guys, yes, they were drafted, they've played in
what eight out of twenty five years, but they're not
nearly they haven't had the lasting impact that some of
these guys ahead of them on this list ed Reid
ray Lewis, Randy Moss, Derel Reeves, Calvin Johnson, Gronk, Like
(21:52):
they're gonna be Hall of Famer CJ. Wan and Miles Garrett.
Sure they will be, but you can't tell me right
now that they stand to hold a spot over some
guys like Larry Fitzgerald, like Antonio Brown, like Troy polam Hallou.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
It's really laughable when you say it. Yeah, I'm chuckling
as I say it.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
Fits and palam All, they were the two biggest omissions,
Like they're just egregious to leave that off.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
I'm trying to think if there's really anyone else.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
That causes that much frustration over reading this list, And
I think you're right.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
I think those two are the guys.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
I think other people can cause frustration because you're a
fan of a certain player, you think you think this
guy's better than a guy, and you're passionate about it.
But I think just as far as like credibility is
concerned and how credible can list really be their opinion based,
but as far as just like universal recognition of this
guy knows what he's talking about. This guy put a
lot of thought into this. This guy put time and
effort into like scrolling through stats and really thought exercises
(22:57):
of having like a big whiteboard, and it's like this
guy verse this guy and who's better and having big
debates about it. Like, you can't possibly do that and
put the appropriate effort into it if you take it
seriously over the past twenty five years and not have
Troy and not have Larry Fitzgerald show up in the
debates and find their way towards the top end of
(23:19):
this list. I mean, you look at the defensive player
of the years, right and all pros, just to kind
of narrow it down to who has been great. Troy
shows up there all time records again, Larry Fitzgerald second
most receiving yards in NFL history. So it would really
be impossible unless you just outright forgot about them, to
(23:41):
exclude them without trying to dangle out.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
A little bit of rage, a little bit of bait, and.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
This seems like a very balanced list here otherwise than
those guys missing, Like, this doesn't seem like a Steeler's
rage bait list, you know what I mean, Like they
slipped Joe Thomas in there. I guess ed Reid and
Ray are in the top ten, but I think Edward
and Ray should be in the ten.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
So like I don't think this is just something that
they put out like some guys working in an NFL daily.
It's like, I just hate the Steelers. Yeah, let's make
their highest rated player Aaron Robbers. It doesn't help though,
Garrett over TJ two. But we just said though that
they don't really.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
Both of them don't belong.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
I would take those two out and put Fits and
Paulla not in their slots at twenty and twenty three.
People move down, and I think the list would be fine.
I think Garrett and Want are maybe.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
I think there's a lot of guys. I mean, it's
not it's not them specifically, there's a lot of guys.
You can just say, I'm happily removing these two guys
to make room, but I think they're just because they're
the youngest, and I mean.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Look, you want to take out the lineman, but Joe
Thomas is a great bliman, Walter Jones is a great lineman,
Zach Martin is a great lineman. I don't know. I
think that they should have a say in this list
as well.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Love Garrett, I love Garrett, I love Watt, and I
think Garrett is a very good player. I respect the
hell out of them. But yeah, I mean they're crowded
towards the end of the twenty twenty five these twenty
five years, and it still counts, but not at the
expense of Troy and not at the expense of Larry Fitzgerald.
We march our way closer to training camp as players
(25:22):
move in next Wednesday. We'll be back later this week,
though with some fresh episodes for you of the Steelers Standard.
He's Jacob on Tom. Thanks for listening to us. It's
good to be back on Steelers Nation Radio and the
Steelers Audio Network.
