Speaker 1 (00:00):
Here we go, Texans. Welcome to the Tamico Ryans program.
Times are tough for the Texans after losing to Denver
eighteen to fifteen and dropping to three and five with
nine games left in the regular season. Now there's still
plenty of time to do something. But do something they must,
and that starts Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a noon
kickoff on Salute to Service Day. The Jaguars winners in

(00:21):
overtime at Vegas. Still sounds weird to say that yesterday
by a point. The Raiders went for two late in
overtime after scoring the would be equalizer or go ahead
touchdown if they made the tube. They didn't, and that
was all she wrote. So the Jags committed five and three.
They have already beaten the Texans, and a quick perusal

(00:43):
of teams that have beaten the Texans reveal they have
good records.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
This is what it is.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
When you have the Rams, who they opened with at
six and two, you have the Buccaneers they've been on
a bye this week. Their six and two. You move
along and you look at the Jaguars at five and three,
and then they beat the forty nine ers, who are
six and three, Broncos obviously seven and two, and the
Seahawks last night dismantled the Commanders their six and two,

(01:13):
and these are tremendous teams. The Texans playing close, but
no cigar in those outings except for the winner over
the six and three forty nine Ers. Now they have
an opportunity to beat a winning team on Sunday, and
it is crucial because it's the AFC South. You're back
in the division. You are one in one in the
division right now. You have games left with the Jags
on Sunday, two with the Colts, and another with the

(01:35):
Titans which will be a week from Sunday in Nashville.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
We'll get to that next week.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
The Texans still have the number one defense in the
league in points and yards. Now, the game against the Broncos,
we all saw it, we all know it. Second half offense,
you got a field goal, you went zero for seven
on third down. We talked about it with the head coach.
The biggest story of the game was losing CJ. Stroud
in the first half to a concut and we started

(02:01):
off there talking to Damico Ryans about that subject. As
they have to get ready for the Jags, knowing that
Stroud might not be available.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Coach, great to see it, Great to see you guys
will all right here we go.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
It's Jacksonville week and we'll review the game against the Broncos.
But I wanted to start here without knowing whether your
quarterback is available or not, among others. How does that
affect game planning? Because you have to get started on
that right away.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
As we start with game planning, we'll start with Davis, Like,
can we know we have to prepare as day as
if Davis is playing? Just having the guys in a
concussion protocol, as I've been here, is not many times
that a guy's had a concussion on a Sunday and
played the following Sunday is just hard to pass all
of the steps that you need to pass.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
So we'll prepare and press forward. As if Davis is starting, Does.

Speaker 5 (02:49):
It help at all Coach that A is a division team,
be you've already played him this year?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Does that help at all?

Speaker 5 (02:54):
I know it's a few weeks ago, but does that
help in any way for that situation?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Any help I can get out taking? You know, it
should help.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
That's being familiar with their defense, right, you know, the structures.
You know how they're going to try to attack us,
so it should speed up the planning process and just
see how these guys have adjusted what they've done differently
since we played them, And of course they'll look at
us the same as well. But it should help us
in our preparation. We should know the things that we
liked and work things that didn't work, kind of stay

(03:22):
away from him. So hopefully it speeds everything up.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
If it is Davis having a full week of practice,
that's got to be a big help as well.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
And the fact that he did play on Sunday against
the Broncos.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
It helps a lot, you know, when you go in
knowing the hey, you're getting all of the reps with
the starters. It should help him as he preps because
I always believe you have to practice well to play well,
so for especially the quarterback position, so always tell for
a backup quarterback and so I think it's one of
the toughest jobs in the league right when you don't
get many of the reps. Most of your reps are

(03:52):
on scout team. You have to make sure you mimic
those reps and make them as realistic as possible. But
they're not real reps, and then has to get thrust
into a game at any given situation at a pretty
tough moment. Right, anytime you lose your starting quarterback, it's
tough for everybody, but you're asked to go in and
operate as if you're the starter. And I thought Davis

(04:13):
made some good plays, he did some good things in
the game.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
I think he'll be better having a full week of work.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Kind of answer my question, coach, That's where I was
gonna go. Taking all of that into account. You kind of,
you know, coming in as a middle reliever in some sense,
you know, as opposed to a starter, and that offensively,
once Davis went in, What did you see when you
went back and you looked at the films?

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Good things, some things you gotta work on.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
What did you What did you find out as you
went back and looked at it again after the game?

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah, as I watched the film, I thought, you know,
there were times he made some good, good throws, good
decisions with the football, made some really nice hell conversions.
And there are other times I thought, you know, where
he could kind of slow it down. He's kind of
going through this progression a little too fast. I think
he can slow it down, and we have some other
opportunities there that I know he would want back. Some
third down opportunities. We had one down the middle to

(05:02):
Christian that I thought we could hit on third and
fifteen and another one adulting there in the strike zone area,
which I think we get a better ball, better time
in there.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
I think we can make both of those third down plays.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
There were four sacks.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
One of them I don't know if that was a
sack or not, but whatever, but we were noticing that
the protection was there. There was a clean pocket much
of the time to make throws for sure.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I thought overall throughout the entire game, I thought the
O line protected really well. And this we knew it
would be a heavy pressure outfit. They guys did a
really good job the pick stunts, the back stepped up
and protect like we handled their games and pressures well.
They got us a couple of times. They were good
D line, so they got us a couple of times.
But overall, I felt like our quarterbacks had time. We

(05:43):
weren't under a ton of duress. We had time to
go through our reeds and make plays defensively.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
As you watch the film, Coach they they score on
those two drives, and obviously they get the one at
the very end, and the bo escaping and making that
play getting out.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
From the path for something he hadn't done much throughout
the game.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
In fact, he had thrown it a couple times earlier
when he had kind of gotten out there. As you
went back and watched the defense, would you think as
you as you looked at it, we talked about in
the broadcast, it just felt like the defense was.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Just hanging on and hanging on and hanging on and
hanging on and.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Doing a great job with its effort to make sure
that they didn't score any points to give the offense
to opportunity, and then finally this damn broke the last minute.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Your thoughts, Yeah, defensively, you know, overall, really, you know,
solid performance by those guys, and you gotta finish right,
And that's the one thing like I felt like we
could have finished much better on the defensive side of
the ball. Like, you know, we rushed okay most of
the game, and then that one critical moment where we're
not having the lane discipline that we should have and

(06:47):
we allow this huge a B gap escape knowing that
you know, that's what the quarterback liked to do. So
had him in check most of the game, but in
a critical time and the crunch time when it mattered most,
and you have to be able to remain disciplined. Rush
how we're supposed to rush coverage, not over pursuing, staying
where we are in coverage, and we should be in
position to make the quarterback have to dish the football

(07:09):
right there. So, I mean we had some play we
had some one on one opportunities where they scored on us,
they made a play. We got to find a way
to make those plays. A couple of times they did
get into the end zone the two point conversion, Like,
we got to find a way to make the play.
We're we're in position, yep, now can we go make
those plays?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
How about Klen's pick and Derek almost had one which
would have been incredible. It was a great play as
it was that pass breakup over the million.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Yeah really, Kaylin, that's what he does well right when
he can patrol the middle and we are playing single
high coverage and the ball is up expecting him to hey,
you can go, you know, sideline and sideline making plays.
That's what he showed he showed his range, he showed
his capability. They're outstanding play by him. And then Stingley,
you know, on his play it was a man great

(07:56):
job by him. Were coming from the backside all the
way over to try to make that play. Just wanted
to tell hey, go attack it. Be more aggressive with
your hands, get your hands up, attack the football. That
was a great job breaking the pass up.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Yeah, I mean that was that was incredible play. Another
incredible play coach. That came up big after Kaymie missed
that one. On the first first drive, they come down,
they get in a field goal position, Daniko Autry blocks
another one, and I thought what was telling about it
was the fact that when you read Sempaygnon's quotes throughout
the week, he was very aware of the fact that
Denico Autry had blocked a lot of fuel goals.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
And yet there's the first one being kicked and he
blocked that fuel goal.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
How big was that to kind of get things started,
to not give them a three to nothing lead after
you had that long first offensive drive.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Oh, that was huge.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
That was man, we needed at that moment of the game,
like to drive as long as we had the first
drive right and to come away with nothing.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
To show for that. That really sucked.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
And then so for them to drive down and to
turn a round and block a field go man, we
needed that, so it was like a big all right,
let's take a deep breath, reset, All right, let's go
all right, now we're back. So really, Daniel May, I mean,
I'm sorry, Denico.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Is the best I've.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Seen blocking field goals. I mean, he's blocking more kicks
than I've ever seen in my career. He just has
a great knack for getting in the right position and
he doesn't duel without the help of the other guys
around him. Mario did a great job. Tim Settle did
a great job as well, giving him we call it
Ali oop the assists so he can go up and
block it. But he has a fantastic knack for making

(09:27):
those big plays.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Coach, the game began with that long drive. He ate
up a half a quarter and yeah, you missed the
field goal. But it felt kind of like last week, like, Okay,
you can control this game even with field goals. I
know you want to punch it in. We can talk
about that and those close goal to go situations, but
you were able to move the football well when CJ
was in there, you saw a lot of good things
in that department.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Yeah, I saw a lot of good things. Man. We
started a game really well.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
CJ was doing a really great job, making great decisions,
great throws, and you can tell it was going to.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Be another one of those games. How similar to the
nin game.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Felt like we had control, We can move the ball
at will, doing the things that we wanted to do
so and I was just unfortunate, man, when you lose
your your starting quarterback, it's just unfortunate to see CJ
go down the way he went down with a concussion.
Knowing the type of game that I felt like he
was going to have, it was going to be a
big day for him.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
Dalton Schultz was a guy who had a big game
coach and has he's had him this year.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
He makes the big play, CJ. That's a dime.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
I mean, that was an incredible throw where he split
the safety and linebacker with that throw. But it feels
like Dalton's been giving you some really good reps no
matter where he lines up on the offense. Having him back,
I know we missed him in practice, but he's able
to practice Friday and then play in the game on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
How big was he and how big has he been
for your offense?

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Coach, Yeah, Dalton's been really really huge for offense, seeing
that he's a guy you talk about trustworthy. Right, He's
exactly where he's supposed to be on his routes. Like,
you get him the ball, he has sure hands to
catch it, right. He continues to make positive plays, move
the chains like, he's friendly, real friendly to the quarterback right.
He's gonna find that soft spot on his own even

(11:05):
if he's between two defenders.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
He just knows how to position himself.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
He knows how to be in sync with the quarterback
right to give him a friendly target.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
So he's been man.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
He's been clutch for us, making some big plays, big conversions,
being able to move the chains.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
He's having an outstanding year.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Coach.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
In the preseason training camp, you talked a lot about
delegation and that kind of thing. What can you share
with us because we get questions how involved you get
an offensive game planning with Nick Careley? Do you guys
meet a lot about this is your philosophy there? I mean,
obviously it is, but how do you combine and collaborate
on those kinds of things.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
What can you tell us about it?

Speaker 4 (11:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
For me is I'm watching you know, film throughout the week,
just watching all three phases, and I'm just watching our
opponent and seeing really what they struggle with as I
look at it from you know, all perspective, looking at
from offensive perspective, like what is his defense like struggling with?
And can we put them in those situations again? Because
I always believe you got to show a team like

(12:00):
have they fixed their issues?

Speaker 6 (12:02):
Right?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
And that's when I step in and I'm just asking
guys throughout the game plan process like hey, have we
looked at this particular route? Have we looked at this
particular run? I see these things have given this defense trouble,
and these are some things that I think we should implement.
Guys probably already ahead of that on memes like yeah,
we have this in and that end. So that's so

(12:24):
I just come from the perspective of all phases like
I see this team struggling and whatever area, let's continue
to attack them in the area I was I.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Was a little mad at you yesterday, coach.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
From the standpoint of I'm watching telling all hufanga and
I'm watching Drake Greenlaw and I'm watching them make plays,
I'm like, damn, why did coach coach them so well
in San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
But this happens a.

Speaker 5 (12:45):
Lot where you do see players you've coached before, but
then you see them on the other side and they're
making plays against you. What are you kind of feeling
when you see that? I mean, obviously you want Texans
to win and you are not good, yeah, but I
just like to see those guys that you spend so
much time with that you helped become even better NFL
players make those plays against you.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
In this case, I'm max like, why are we not
blocking these guys.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Like they're good player?

Speaker 3 (13:09):
So no, it was just good to see those guys
dre and and and Huff, the two guys that drafted
out in San Francisco, and to see them just continue
to do well in their careers, go to a different,
different place and still be impact players. It's always good
to see that they're doing well. And that's the reason
I got into coaching, is to help players, and you know,

(13:31):
knowing that I had a positive impact on those guys,
those are the first two guys who came up to
me after the game right to shake my hands. So
I'm you know, I'm thankful for those guys and what
they how they play. They played the game the right way,
and that's what that's what you will see from hopefully guys.
I've impacted that they played the game with the relentless nature,
hair on.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Fire type play style, and that's what Huff and Dre represent.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Absolutely coach back to the offense for a moment.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
You got Kirk back and Nico back, and they weren't
in the game last week, but here you have all
these playmakers. How tough is it to decide who gets
the reps, who gets the ball. I know, you want
to be better on third down so you have more
of those opportunities. Is that really a big part of it?
You know, if those drives continue, you have a rotation
of sorts going into it, more guys get touches, that
kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Yeah, I mean, we want to get the ball to
our best players, right We got to find a way
right now. We got to find a way to get
Nico the ball even more. I feel like we could
have got it to them on the outside more, just
giving them more shots down field. Finding the way Ck
was open. You know, a lot. I just got to
be able to make the throw. So it's all everybody
working together there. I think we had a good rotation

(14:36):
of guys, and then you want to see the young
guys get the ball as well because they've done a
good job.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
You know, Ja Nole and Jay Higgins have both done
good job as well. So we have skilled players who
can make plays right.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
It's just a matter of everybody being on the same page,
being in sync and making the plays that we're we
can make, especially in those third down, those reds, on
those situational moments where I feel like we we have
to exceale and we have to be better.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Another thing about the quarterback position. If CJ can't go
Mills on stage and then Mertz has to get ready
as well. He gets ready every week, I'm sure, but
that puts him a step ahead. What about his progress
in practice, because we don't hear about him for good reason,
but he looked good in the preseason. He's on the
fifty three man roster. What can you tell us about
his product?

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Well, Mertz in practice, what he does is him and
Davis they alternate reps during the scout team period, so
they go against our defense during all the reps versus
our defense. So Mertz gets in and he's done a
solid job. But some sometimes we're asking him to just hey,
we want to throw the ball here to make sure
the corner or safety gets a proper look. But most

(15:41):
of the time we allow him just to read the
plays out. So they're getting real reps as well. So
you know, it'll be uh, it'll be a big week
for him as well. Now he'll get even more reps.
But David's taking all of the one reps with our offense,
so Mertzi get a lot of time, you know, going
against our defense.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
Do you want your scout team quarterback to be surgical
and really you want them to get after the defense.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Please be competitive, Please get after the defense as best
as you can.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
We want to rip it.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
And we wanted up making great decisions knowing that they're
training themselves for when they may have an opportunity to
go into the game. And you know, I go back
to an example when I was in San Francisco, Man
brock Purty, he he threaded the ball. He tore us
up as a Scout team quarterback, right, and that's when
you saw, like, man, this kid really has something because

(16:31):
he was i mean throwing sidearm throws, he was moving
out of the part. He was doing a lot of
great things. So if you take those reps with a
deliberate mindset like you can get better. And Brock has
shown that. Hey, if you do it the right way here,
you can progress and he can be a starting quarterback.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
Coach Titus went out of game bast somewhere in the
second quarter and then leading up half time.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
One of the things you've done really well is use
the six.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
Offensive line, six offensive line men, with Blake Fisher being
that six guy. But now Blake's got to jump in
at right tackle and you really aren't able to go
your six offensive lineman group. Did that impact you in
the second half at all, not having tightests such that
you could use Blake in that six offensive linean role.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
Yeah, I mean, we've liked that package.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Put us in position to run the football, feeling like
we had an advantage there running the ball and also
protecting if we want to go play action pass. But
you know, we lost tight ends. Don't want to lose tightens. Hey, Blake, Hey,
step up, man, let's go. This is your time, Nashan,
Let's get out there and let's go. That doesn't mean
we can't run the football now, it's just more tight ends.
You know, we use Harrison, used Dalton a little bit more.

(17:32):
We use British and the tight end spot as well.
A couple couple run plays, so we can still run
our offense and we can run it and run in.
Everything is at our disposal. Even though Titus went out
and Blake had a step end.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Coach, what about special teams? He had some moments against
the Broncos. Bandy had the ball bounce off and then
Jalen Smith recovers. He had Jailing Nole's big return. You
almost got the ball down at the one yard line
as well. What about the third phase there?

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Yeah, I thought our special teams played really good football, right.
I thought they put us in position to win the
football game, right, Jay Nole with a huge return. Really
Higgins with the outstanding I call it hit by block right,
not getting a penal there? Really clean block there. The
spring and four man our gunners, I mean Jalen Smith

(18:19):
and Treymont like those guys, they cover the field.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
They cover a lot of ground. They've made a lot
of plays.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Treymond does a great job, but down in the ball
had an outstanding to play school get out of the way.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
Maybe we got the ball there at.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
The one yard line, but that was an excellent play
by him to throw it back in even give us
a chance. But play had to play with the field
goal unit like getting a field goal block. Special teams
had a huge impact on this game.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Coach, this is not just relating to one play, and
you may know the one I'm relating to, but this
seemed to happen a number of times yesterday where there
were a flager, multiple flags thrown and then at some
point picked up. When that happened, and what's the communication
that you get from the officials. Do they immediately come

(19:05):
to you say the flag is thrown on the other
team and all we're gonna pick it up. Do they
come over to explain to you exactly why that flag
is being picked up even though their eyes saw something
to be able to throw the flag. Do they come
over to you. Do you ask for them to come
over and talk to you about those certain situations.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Sometimes they talk about why it was picked up, and
sometimes they don't. Sometimes they would explain it over the loudspeaker,
but sometimes you know we don't get an explanation immediately
about what happen.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
You have to ask. But trying not to be stressed
out about these off.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
It can be you know, it could be trying and
it could be you know, that third phase of the
game where you see something and you think, hey, did
you did did they see the same thing? And it's
like some calls you think it's like holding and it's
how the quarterback gets hit.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
It's just so.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Many things that ends up being out of your control. Sure,
and they throw it, they throw it. If I tell
the guys all the time, it's like they hardly ever
have I seen a real pick up a flag because
you're arguing with them or you know, you're you know,
losing your mind on the ref it's like, oh, you
know what, you're right, I'm gonna pick that flat.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Yeah, that never happened. So I'm trying to save myself there.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
But the communications is key because I saw at one point,
and it was near the end of the first half,
and I saw you, Like there are a lot of
times when I used to get in trouble, my dad
would look at me and he gives this sign like
you know, I'm watching you and I saw you get
outside to the official. I thought, why is he mad
at that official? Not I realized what it was, and
that was, hey, you need to look at me if I.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Want to get a time out, Oh for sure.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:42):
And you were talking to the back judge and he
kind of nodded, and I was kind of like, okay,
I was wondering with that, and then I realized, oh, keep
your eyes on you for play is over for a
time out.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Yeah. Anytime I looking to get a quick time, I
always want to talk to the back judge because the
line judge is trying to look for the spot. So
just what I've learned is, hey, hey, forget the lines
of look to the back jug Hey, just make sure
you're watching me here.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
I may want to bang a time yea.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Hey, coach, take us through the end of the game,
because the last possession you had, I really felt like
you're just trying to move the football. We got to
move the football here at least get first downs if
nothing else. Is that how you looked at it?

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:18):
How I looked at that possession is hey, we got
the ball back, we got a little bit over a
minute left. Hey, let's get our two minute drive going,
which I felt like we've been good in two minute situations,
so I feel like, you know, start, let's get easy completetion.
We ended up getting a completion there to on the
second down, we end up getting a completion to Higgins
on the sideline.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
We were out of bounds.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
But I was looking at let's let's move the ball down,
let's get let's get anywhere across midfield, like to give
us a shot at kicking a field goal to end
the game. Like I'm trying to win the game there,
and you know, it didn't go how we wanted to go.
It went, you know, too quick with incompletion on first

(22:01):
and then incompletion and we got out of bounds on
the second one and then the incompletion on third. It's
just we didn't people, you didn't We didn't burn enough time.
But hey, we punt the football, we go play defense
like defense, let's be We're supposed to be defenses, play
stout all day. So it's a point in my mind
where okay, hey, oh, the defense isn't playing great, so

(22:23):
let's just send this to overthre Like, no, let's go
down and let's finish it. The defense is played great
all day. Now we got in that position. Defense, let's
do a great job be supposed to be or main discipline,
and let's get a stop.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
I would imagine coach playing inside.

Speaker 5 (22:37):
This is maybe more consistent information, But at the end
of half, end of game situation, how cognizant are you of? Okay,
we got to get to this yard line. Kimie feels
like he can hit it from X. I suppose outside
you gotta deal with the wind and okay, well, in
the win you might do this, but I would imagine
inside there's not really much that going on. How much
are you congnizant of Okay, we got to get to

(22:58):
this yard line. That's where he feels comfortable getting to
right hash left has to all that.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
How much are you kind of playing that in your
mind as you're thinking on the last drive?

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Oh, that's always in my mind from the start of
the game. Always want to get a feel for, you know,
how not only Emy warmed up.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
But also the other kid.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
So we're watching both guys and see, hey, what's been
their best as they were warming up throughout the game,
So we know the ranges, we know the longest of
where they hit as they warmed up, so we know
what y are line that we're defending. We know what
yard line we're trying to get to as an offense.
So you know they're at their points, like get it
anywhere close right inside the forty five, and we're going

(23:36):
to try to attempt.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
It this week. It's the fifty, right, the Jacks coming em.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
He can kick it a long way too, So you
got two great ones going at it. Quick thoughts on
the Jaguars coach, because obviously you've seen them before and
it was not that long ago. What about a brief
report on them?

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Yeah, just with the Jay Wars I think again, Liam
has done a really good job, right, really turning over
the culture of that team. Right, they've been finding a
way to win games, like they're doing a really good job.
Their defense is playing outstanding. They attacked the football and
they found a way to move it with Trevor, they
found a way to score points. And field goal kicker,

(24:14):
as you mentioned, just hit the longest one in the
history of the NFL. It was the sixty eight yards,
so it's long kick. Hopefully Denico is ready to block
another one, al right.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
The Amagy Bank ask coach question of the week. I'm
not sure if I asked you this last year, but
I'm gonna do it. All right, it's salute to service day, Coach.
You have to pick a branch of the armed services
to be in. Is it Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines?
Should I throw in Coast Guard too?

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Yeah? One of those five, coach man, which.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
Is going to upset someone here.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
But because I got so many, a lot of family
members that are a lot of different branches of the service. Uh,
but I I'm gonna roll my brother in law.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
I'm gonna say the Army. My brother in law a
green beret in the Army.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
So wow, Yeah, he's impressed me by what he's capable
of doing. Now my brother is gonna be My brother
was in a Navy. Yeah, a mother in law air.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
Force me, so I got a lot of my uncle's
in army as well. My dad air Force. So I
got a wow.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
It's a special day.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
You hit them all man. My dad probably mad at me.
Dad with no Air Force.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
All right, coach, thanks a lu goodluck this week.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
Yes, all right, there's the head coach, but we have
more coming up with him, Johnny and Demico. After the game.
We also have Kamari Lassiter coming up on the show.
He was a guest on Texans post game with Sean
Pendergast and Clint Sterner. That's all coming up here on
Texans Radio, The TMICO Ryan Show, brought to you by
Amigy Bank, the official business bank of the Houston Texans,

(25:47):
and the Texans clearly not doing enough business in the
offensive end of Denver in an eighteen to fifteen loss.
Kind of a weird score, but that's what you're gonna
get when you kick a lot of field goals. Denver
had field goals and the two point conversion.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
You all know that.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Let's see two point conversion plus the two touchdowns and
one field goal the one at the end by Lutsi
had one blocked by Deniko Autrey. We went over that
with the head coach. In the last segment, now worth
bringing up. We mentioned the Texans still number one in
the league in defense, points and yards. Another head scratcher here,
and the only reason that is a head scratcher is

(26:24):
because the Texans are three and five. With the defense
like that, you would think the record would be better.
I mentioned the records of the teams they've lost to,
but that's not going to make anybody feel any better.
The Texans in turnover marchin are right where they need
to be. They're sixth in the league. You look at
that number plus six on the season, and that's after
getting off to a slow start in the takeaway department,

(26:45):
and they are now fourth in interceptions in the NFL.
After killing Bullock had his on bo Nicks in the
game against Denver. Well after the game, Kamari Lasser, who
had a big pick last week in the victory over
San Francisco, visited with Sean Pendergast and Clint Sterner on
Texans post game and they got into a variety of subjects.
Following the game against Denver.

Speaker 7 (27:07):
Kamar, a tough one today, man, And I know that
you know that's that's two great defenses going at it
you guys in Denver. Is that is that kind of
the street fight that you guys expected expected today?

Speaker 8 (27:15):
Yes, sir, I mean, you know, I feel like going
into it it's always the Texans versus the Broncos. But internally,
you know, me as competitor, I heard the noise about
their defense being very good. I'm like, dang, at the
end of Jay, it's our defense. Versus theirs, and you know,
the score was eighteen to fifteen, So the defense one today.

Speaker 9 (27:33):
Hey, Kamar, when you look at kind of how the
game unfolded with with Denver's offense, it seemed to me
and I thought this coming into the game, that Sean
was going to come in and where most teams will
probably kind of buckle down and maybe be a little
more conservative because y'all are so good upfront, it seemed
like Sean Payton and Denver's plan was We're going to
drop back and take shots. Is that did y'all expect that?

(27:55):
Is that what you felt? And how'd you feel the
game went up with in terms of defending that?

Speaker 4 (27:59):
Yeah, I definitely think that.

Speaker 8 (28:00):
You know, they're very confident in their operation, their players,
quarterback and receivers. I mean, they had a really good
receiving corps, a good old line, they have a really
good offense. So I feel like they were confident in
what they have, just the same way that we were
confident in our defense. So I mean, I feel like
whenever they go up and take shots, it's you know,
on the outside, it's him versus me. On the other
side with Sting is Sting versus him our safeties is
you know, so I feel like that's what the game

(28:23):
is all about. It's NFL football. You're going to see
who's going to make the plays. And they took some shots,
they didn't complete most of them, and then they changed up,
you know, their approach and which is that they're.

Speaker 7 (28:32):
Just what did you expect the biggest challenge to be
from Denver coming in today?

Speaker 8 (28:36):
I expected the biggest challenge for was because I played
bow knicks in college.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
Yeah, so I expected the biggest.

Speaker 8 (28:42):
Challenge was for him to be extending plays and you know,
him kind of getting out or just kind of not
really getting out because I know our D line is hunting,
but just him trying to extend plays and just you know,
just chucking the ball downfield on plasters.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
But he did a little bit of that. But our
D line they played very well.

Speaker 9 (28:59):
You know, how frustrating is it because this is similar
to the Tampa game, right is where you guys haven't
bottled up pretty much all game long and then just
bot one quarterback scramble and they're in field goal range
and we're in trouble in the games over. How frustrating
is that?

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Talk?

Speaker 9 (29:13):
Talk walk us through because I think as as radio
guys and his fans, you look at it, you go, well,
damn it, they just he got bow knicks got loose.
But walk us through kind of y'all's approach to trying
to bottle him up and kind of what you saw
happen on that play.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
Yeah, So, I mean it was two minutes. It was
a two minute drive.

Speaker 8 (29:29):
You know, the games in our hands, just like it
was kind of last week, and just knowing that we
had to play coverage. You know, they had a really
good kicker number three. Let's so we were defending a
specific yard line, so we had to play tight coverage
and you know, we're playing coverage and he just kind
of he just got out. It was just one of
those plays where he got out. He made a good play,
he had good awareness, he saw a whole within the

(29:50):
D line up front, and he got out, use his legs,
something that he's been doing for a very long time,
and he got the yards needed and then you know,
they kind of melted it down the clock. We still
had two timeouts and they got the yards that they needed.
Just to make sure that the cure was super comfortable
and did the game.

Speaker 7 (30:04):
Three and five now about a halfway through the season.
Obviously there's a lot of season left to be played.
What was the talk in the locker room after the game.

Speaker 8 (30:11):
You gotta look yourself in the mirror. Starts with me, like,
I gotta look myself in the mirror. Did I play
well enough to help us win the game? And we
didn't win? So I didn't So I have to go home,
watch this film, look myself in the mirror and be like,
what can I do? What more can I do? Like
that's the that's the emphasis. What more can you do? Internally?
Like as a player, as a coach, support staff, it
doesn't matter, Like what can you do more in the building?

(30:32):
And it starts with myself, like I have to look internally,
watch the film, how can I be more on every detail?
Like nine tackles, a couple of passpreak ups. It doesn't matter,
you know, because we lost the game. So I gave
up a catch. What can I do to not give
that up? What can I do not to give up
those eleven yards and keep us?

Speaker 4 (30:48):
You know?

Speaker 8 (30:48):
So it's just I have to go and just look
in the mirror, and I know that we have a
group of guys an organization who are all feeling the
same way from the front end to the back end
where it's offensive defense. So I know we're gonna come
in and go to work, assess the film. You know,
go to the doctor's office. That's what we say in Georgia.
Go to the doctors and you just kind of you
patch up yourself and you get better. I mean, we
got another game next week, so that's the beauty of it,

(31:11):
and we just got to take advantage of the opportunity.

Speaker 9 (31:12):
Hey, speaking of speaking a doctor's office, I know you
obviously don't can't speak to concussions and too, CJ. Stroud,
but just can you take us through that moment? And
I mean, I know those teams is really tight knit man,
y'all are y'all are close and to have something like
that go on number one and then number two, if
I mean, have you talked to CJ?

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Have you seen him? And is he is he doing okay?

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Yeah? I mean I saw him walk out first.

Speaker 8 (31:34):
I mean, obviously I'm frustrated as my quarterback, but forget that,
like CJ is one of my he's one of my
my partners, So you know, just seeing one of my
guys go down in general, and like it's bigger than football,
you know, So just seeing him not move for a second,
that made my heart stop, you know, because at the
end of the day, he's got to go back home
to his family. I mean, I get his football, but
you know, you're supposed to protect the quarterbacks in this
league and and you know I'm not here to, you know,

(31:57):
but it's just like just seeing one of the guys
go down that that made my heart stop in general,
but just to see him get up and you know,
give him thumbs up, and I saw him in the
locker room. He was like he was in better spirits.
But I mean it affected the team as a whole,
because I mean, the quarterback, you know, he's the natural
leader of the team. So it kind of lit a
fire under me, and I know that the fire under
everyone else just in general. But I mean, we played

(32:18):
a really good football team today, so it just takes
every single detail.

Speaker 7 (32:22):
Kamari Lassiter joining us here a Texans Texans cornerback.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Before we get out of here, I saw a video.

Speaker 7 (32:28):
From the team during the week that asked everybody what
time they go to sleep every night?

Speaker 4 (32:32):
Is it true that you don't like you do?

Speaker 2 (32:34):
You say? You're the one guy in.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
The video that said I don't sleep. Yeah, I mean, I.

Speaker 7 (32:37):
Mean that's an exaggeration obviously.

Speaker 8 (32:39):
Yeah, but honestly, like I really, I really don't sleep
a whole bunch like I sleep, but I don't, like
I don't know how to explain it. Like whenever they
asked me the question, it was like, what time do
you go to sleep before the game? I've had some
of my best games when I didn't sleep the night before,
like or I got maybe four or five hours.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
I don't know what's going through your head as you're
not sleeping.

Speaker 8 (32:57):
I'm just ready to play, like, oh, I'm just ready
to play, like I'm thinking about all the players that
I can make. I'm just I'm ready to play, like
I'll be ready to play. I'm ready to play it
right now.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
You're ready to play Jacksonville.

Speaker 9 (33:07):
Let me tell you, ain't what's going through your head.
It's a young testosterone thro that.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
Might be because one of these days that's gonna change
and be like damn.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
I needed that.

Speaker 9 (33:17):
And uh, I always got to ask the guys if
you come in smelling good, I got to ask what
the sin is?

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Man?

Speaker 4 (33:22):
Ah, it's called it's in a blue bottle.

Speaker 9 (33:25):
It's called come on com I mean, you come in
here smelling good.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
I mean, man, it's called like pure something. I don't know.
I'm might have to find it. You know, I'm gonna
get it back to you. I think my wife might
appreciate it. I'm gonna get it back to that.

Speaker 7 (33:39):
We'll get with Omar and the crew and we'll get
it through different through them.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
There you go.

Speaker 7 (33:43):
There you go, kamor last arter joining us here on
Texans post game. Hey, man, go get him next week
in Jacksonville. We got to start stacking some of these duchess.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
What a pick Kamar Lassiter has turned out to be
for the Houston Texans, and they have to fight a
way to cash in on this defensive performance as they've
stayed pretty healthy on that side of the football. Health
not coming their way offensively in the form of quarterback CJ. Stroud,
who left the game with the concussion yesterday and he
will be evaluated day to day. Part of the protocol,

(34:11):
the team will get ready to play Jacksonville with Davis Mills.
Very often players don't return the next week from a concussion.
Nico Collins had won a couple of weeks ago, missed
one game. Let's hope that's it for CJ. Stroud if any.
But they are preparing with Davis Mills right now. So
game plan city in the next couple of days to
get Mills ready for practice on Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
That's going to help.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
We have Mills at four five and one in the
AFC South in his career, not that that means anything.
He's got twenty five starts in his career.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Now.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
He played well last year in the finale at Tennessee,
but he was coming off the bench.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
C J.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Stroud played the opening drive of that one as the
offense tried to work out some kinks. As you might recall,
Mills played well the rest of the way, and Mills
obviously played against the Denver Broncos in relief of c J.
Stroud came in and threw for over eighty yards in
the first half, couple of field goal drives, but then
in the second half one field goal short drive after
the great punt return by Jalen Knowl, and the Texans

(35:08):
went zero for seven and third downs after that. But
Mills now gets the full week of prep to get
ready for Jacksonville, who he is two and one against
in his career. Again, that doesn't mean anything. He's in
the same draft class as Trevor Lawrence. Interesting you might
remember Mills drafted in twenty one in the third round
when the Texans had no first or second round picks

(35:29):
coming up, and Dy Kalu quick thoughts on the game
from him and on the week to come as they
prep for the Jaguars invasion on Salute to Service Day,
plus more from Demico Ryans right afterwards with John Harris,
the locker room talk between those two. It's coming up
here on Texans Radio. Right back to it here on
the Demico Ryans Program, brought to you by AMIGI Bank,

(35:50):
the official business bank of the Houston Texans. Now every Monday,
we catch up with Endy Kalou, Texans teammate of Demiko
Ryans back in the day, twelve year NFL veteran, part
of our broad cast crew, preseason TV color commentator and
nd This is part of the conversation. Agreed that with
a full week of practice with Davis Mills, it's going
to be better than it was against the Broncos. And

(36:12):
had somehow CJ. Stropd been able to stay in that game,
had he not gotten hit, it would have been a
different situation.

Speaker 6 (36:17):
Oh that's the way those trend thinks. But that's why,
unfortunately or fortunately, you have fifty three guys on the
roster because this is the most dangerous sport in all
the popular sports. So guys are gonna go down. And
you want the Texas to do what the San Francisco
forty nine ers are doing with their backup quarterbacks. You
know they're gonna have some upstowns, but they're still, you know,
hugely successful in the win lost column, even with their

(36:40):
backup quarterback. But I'm with you, and when I bring
up Davis Mills, it's it's mainly on him because he
is a quarterback. He's touching the ball in every play,
but it goes to every single person that's associated with
that offense from the play calling. You know, I've seen
and been in situations where I'm playing against a team
and a backup comes in and we see wildcat, we

(37:01):
see a lot of trick plays. It doesn't always work,
but no, it keeps you on your toes as a defense.
And I just felt like it was too vanilla and
that was the one time where you really needed to
be creative. You really needed to open it up because
you don't have CJ. Stroud. But absolutely what you were saying.
When I was watching that game and early on, I
was like, Okay, yeah, you know this is going to

(37:22):
be slobbery knockers we used to call it, where the
defense is going to continue to pound, but it's going
to be that one offensive drive where you say that's
the drive that won it. And I felt like with CJ.
Stroud we would have seen one or two of those
drives and I was hoping to see one. With Davis Mills,
I was actually excited for him to kind of prove
to himself while he's still on this roster, and I

(37:43):
was just very disappointed with the lack of scoring and
the lack of offense when he was under the center and.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
Dy, what's going to the heads of the players right now?
Three and five and they're in ninth in the AFC.
They do have the teams on their schedule that if
they defeat them enough of them and go something like
seven and two down the stretch, there's a chance. Okay,
I know that it sounds kind of ridiculous considering there
three and five, but we've seen this team lose these

(38:09):
close games, there needs to be a transformation and edge
gain something in order to get there. But what's going
through their heads right now as Jacksonville comes in Sunday
at noon.

Speaker 6 (38:21):
Literally one game at a time, one day at a time,
and if you take care of one day at a time,
then everything else will take care of itself. Like they
they don't need to be looking at the standings and oh,
you know the Culture seven and two they lost. You know,
if we do this and we beat them twice and
we have a chance to get back in is that true? Absolutely?
But you're at the point now coming off this loss,

(38:44):
especially one that was so important and you had a chance.
You just felt like you had a chance to win
that game up until the very end. Now you're to
the point where it's truly one game at a time,
one day at a time. Don't look too far into
the future. Yes, they're getting ready for the Jacksonville Jaguars,
but I want all those guys on Monday. If today
is the day where you're getting rehab, you're doing the

(39:05):
workout that gets the sowred nets out of your out
of your body, and you're watching film. That's all you
should be focused on. You know what, all I'm focused
on is watching the Denver game because that's what we're
doing today, and that's what we're gonna do after our
workouts and just literally take it one day at a time.
Then when you look up ten weeks down the line,
you're like, oh, we're back in.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
It, Indy.

Speaker 5 (39:26):
How tough is it, as especially a defensive player on
this defense, when you look up and CJ. Stroud is
not He's not in the game, and we don't know
how long he's going to be out, et cetera. How
tough is it to force yourself to just do your job,
not to try and do too much because you know
the defense has got to step up even more. But

(39:49):
how do you fight the feeling of just trying to
do too much and just do the only job you
know to do, and that's the job of that play
call for that particular play. How do you fight that
urge just well, I thought I could go over here
and make this big play. How do you fight that
urge this week and maybe next?

Speaker 6 (40:06):
That's a great question, and my answer is by trusting
the offense. But then I have to make sure I
add the offense has to give you a reason to
trust them because you're dead on like they're gonna be
in a situation where they say to themselves. And I've
been in huddles where the defense is, hey, guys, we
got to score, and you know, typically there's no play

(40:28):
drawn up for the defensive score. So it's just what
you said. You kind of dismiss your responsibilities. You try
to go over and beyond where something great could happen
or something disastrous can happen. And you don't want to
do that because you want to keep that integrity and
play your responsibility and play discipline defensive football, which the
Texans have been doing. But the answer to that question

(40:50):
to me lies with the offense. You know, Davis Mills
and co. Again, I can't just put on Davis Mills,
but they get most of the fame and they also,
you know, get the heartache when things don't go the
way of the Texans. But Davis Mills and the offensive coordinator,
the offensive line, they have to make the defense confident
that they can get it done. I'm telling you, when

(41:11):
I saw Davis Mills trot out there, I was hoping
for and I was thinking I was somewhat optimistic. I
was like, you know what. Okay, this is why you're here.
Unlike most backups in the NFL. You've been in the
system for five plus years. You know something good is
going to happen. That was kind of my mindset.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
All right.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
There's end Kalou part of our Monday visit with him
to get his thoughts on the game and the upcoming
week as the Texans prepared to face the Jacksonville Jaguars
Sunday at noon. And let's get back into more aftermath
of the game against the Broncos, John Harris and Demico
Ryans catch up outside the locker room conversation I always
want to hear I prefer hearing it after a win,

(41:49):
but this is always good between Johnny and Dimico.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
Coach tough one, tough afternoon.

Speaker 5 (41:53):
What's probably the most frustrating thing that looking back at
the game, kind of running it through your mind that
you're going through right now.

Speaker 3 (42:00):
Man, well, a lot, but the I don't think it's
just one thing. I think it's just a culmination of
many things there. Just for us starting offensively, like man,
just third down. We gotta be able to win third
down so we can sustain drives and then the red
zone I mean there it is we don't get any
end zone that you're not gonna win the game. If

(42:22):
you can't get an end zone, you can't score points.
So got to do a better job there. And then
just defensively, I think just just some of the plays
that we let out were just something on us, right,
And that's that's the frustrating thing, you know, it's I
know we can play even better versus that good team.
A lot of people gonna say, yeah, that that point
told that that math. I feel like we could have
played even better defensively.

Speaker 5 (42:45):
Speaking of the defense, felt like the fourth quarter was
like a ping pong match, was just you get three downs,
you get three downs, you get three downs, and your
defense was just really holding in there, it felt like
in the fourth quarter until Boke got out on that
love scramble.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
And the guys did a great job man in critical moment.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
I think we got three consecutive stops there to give
us a chance to get going, and we didn't answer
that offensively to be able to drive down to get
some points.

Speaker 4 (43:10):
But the guys did their job.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
But my game plan this week was just just remained
disciplined for four quarters, right and there at the end,
we allowed a quarterback to escape the one time he
decides to run the ball.

Speaker 4 (43:22):
We did a great job all game.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
And then at one time where you know we're not
quite on it, the kid makes a play and sets
them up in a really good position.

Speaker 5 (43:30):
I know you haven't gone back and looked at the
film yet. We were your first thoughts about how David
did stepping in when CJ went out.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
I had to look at the film to see. I mean,
you know, it didn't feel like we had rhythm going,
didn't feel like it was, you know, as best as
I've seen Davis play. We got to look at the
film and see, you know what happened there. It's all
eleven thing, you know, for us offensively, So we'll look
at the tape see how it goes. Look at the
coach and the players, everybody. It's all of us. It's

(43:57):
not just and on them at all. Starts with me,
and we got to look at it all.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
And now it's Jacksonville coming in.

Speaker 5 (44:04):
They're playing the Raiders as we speak, as division opponent,
actually two of them in a row.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
But we're back here at home.

Speaker 5 (44:10):
How important is it to be back at home with
pack on our divisional opponent that we've already seen this year.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
Coach, Yeah, excited to go against another division opponent. Right,
we seen these guys before a few weeks ago. We
know what they're about. They know what we're about. It
made the best man win. Well, we gotta come out.
We got to bring our a game, right. We gotta
be better situationally, third down, red zone, getting the critical stops.

Speaker 4 (44:31):
We just got to be on our p's and q's
as a team. Coach, I appreciate you time, Thank you,
thanks e.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
All right, there's some stuff from John Harris and coach
Tomiko Ryan's following the game against Denver Texans dropping to
three and five ouch, two games under five hundred. That
was a golden opportunity missed as they had a chance
to get back to even money. But you gotta do
what you gotta do, and that's beat the Jaguars on
Sunday and then beat Tennessee and then you can get
to five and five before facing the Bills.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Stop me.

Speaker 1 (44:57):
It's one game at a time, and it's all about
the jag Wars, who were overtime winners against the Raiders
in Vegas yesterday, went deep into overtime and the Raiders
scored the would be tying or take the lead touchdown.
They could have kicked the extra point and taken the tie.
They decided to go for the wins, so credit them
for that, but they did not make it, so they

(45:17):
did not help the Texans. Jags go to five and three,
But Houston can do something about that Sunday. If you win,
you're still behind them, but at least you tag the
loss on them, and they'll have their issues down the
line to deal with.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Everybody's got their own.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
Problems, like the Colts who lost to the Steelers and
now they have two losses on the season, and a
glimpse at their schedule reveals it's pretty tough. They have
Atlanta and Munich this week and then a bunch of
real tough ones down the line, including two with the Texans.
So plenty of games on the schedule that if you
play well in them, you can really help your cause.
But it all starts with Jacksonville Sunday at noon, Salute

(45:53):
to Service Day. Can't wait for that. Got to get
this taste out of our mouths On Tuesday's show. Among
other things, Jake Hanson will join us. Looking forward to
that Jake Linebacker, Special Teams Player extraordinaire plus will probably
revisit some of Brian Cushing on the pregame show with
Shawn and Set. That was a great visit, so that

(46:13):
might flash on Tomorrow night's show as well. Coming up
more Texans All Access, Johnny Harris on the Way, and
Monday Night Football Cardinals at the Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
Have a great night, Go Texans.
