Week seven in the NFL that had one game that

at Energy Stadium a rookie, it kind of his breakout game,
and we're looking for him to have another one against
the San Francisco forty nine ers.

But we gonna kick it off going around the NFL
in Week seven and started with one of the better
games in the I think over the whole weekend between
two forty year old starting quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers, for the
Pittsburgh Steelers and Joe Flacco for the Cincinnati Bengals. It

got started early with some fireworks as Aaron Rodgers found
John hu Smith to give the Steelers a seven nothing lead.

Third and six at the Cincinnati ten opening drive of
the game, Rogers shotgun staff pumps. He's pressured, He's flushed

The Colts jumped all over the Chargers and made them
like it. Thirty eight to twenty four. The Colts are

took place in Denver, where the Giants had a lead
going into the fourth quarter. In fact, The lead going

hadn't done anything. Then the game started turning. And it

turned in that fourth quarter when bo Nicks was able
to find Troy Franklin for a touchdown and that got
them going. They added on a two point conversion and
they would be in the ballgame now at nineteen to eight.

That got things rolling.

Dobbins now the loan back Nix is under center and
second down a goal. They reset the full back in
front of Dobbins to play fake again. Nix in trouble,
throws a ball deflected and caught in the end zone.
On the rebound, the ball caught by Troy Franklin. It

doesn't matter how it looks. It just matters if you
score and the deflection goes straight up into the air
in Franklin. With a contested catch on the rebound, the
Broncos score fifty two seconds into the third. He tried
to squeeze the ball into Courtland Suddon. The ball was deflected,

I believe at the goal line in Franklin got both
feet down in Courtland. Deontay Banks and Courtland right there.
Somebody was gonna have to make that catch either an
interception or a touchdown, and Troy Franklin came down.

That started the run for the Broncos, but the Giants
kept answering in nineteen to eight. You're thinking, if you're

the Giants up twenty six to eight.

Nicks keeps it, rolls to his right inside the five
mix to the goal line, and bow scampers into the
end zone with a Denver touchdown.

The Broncos have all three timeouts and it's now twenty
six fourteen, and props to Evan Ingram, the tight end
got just enough of a block there in the corner
of the end zone without holding to let Nix get
in and score that touchdown.

sixteen and plenty of time left, Justin Strenard of wake
Forest intercepted Jackson Dart.

yard touchdown pass to cut the lead to three.

Denver goes without a huddle. Now Harvey stays in the game.
He's lined up behind Knicks, who's under center. Knicks rolls
to he's right, throws the ball into the flat.

Harvey has it and Denver has a touchdown.

Twenty six, twenty two, Knicks to Harvey from two yards out.

Two point play down four three fifty one left. Harvey,
the lone running back just popped out there in the flat,
nobody guarding him. Easy throw, easy catch, touchdown Broncos.

And then a few moments later, bo Nicks did it again.
This time he would run one in from eighteen yards
out and they would take the lead.

thirty Giants. Bow Knicks was like, I got this, We're
all good. He found Courtland Sutton in the fourth quarter,
a former teammate of Damarius Thomas, who was being put
into the Broncos Hall of Fame Hall of Honor, right
next to Peyton Manning. This is an emotional game for
Cortland Sutton. He came with a big play here to

I left a lot on the cutting room floor for
this week. So let's get to our ultimate eleven and
start with a guy that has consistently picked up his
play every single week, Tommy Togii. He also had a
pass breakup to go along with the two TFLs you're

gonna hear. This is number eleven, two plays from Tommy Togii.

They rushed to the line of scrimmage first down at
the Houston forty two. Walker in the backfield, Darnald under center,
Arroyos sets up on the left wing. Donald feeds Walker

in the backfield and he couldn't get by Henry and
friends at the line of scrimmage, so about a half
yard loss on the play, second down and long coming
up the step. Third down and two at the Houston
twenty eight Sharmoney in the backfield, Darnald under center, bunch
formation left, including an extra lineman hand off, Charbona trying
to fight a hole up the middle. But I have
trouble doing it because the Texans stop and Tommy getting

On the bottom of the pile and it looks like
they forced him backwards about a yard, so they're gonna

Fortunately it would remain a one score game for the
bad guys. Now, you have as standing rule as you
all know if you've listened to this show, that if
the Texans get beat, number ten is always paying homage

nothing after the aziz al Shire penalty gave the Seahawks

and JSN was just fabulous I mean just fabulous all night.

but they do and he was tremendous in This touchdown

it happened perfectly here. Jason Myers lined up to kick
a fifty three yard field goal. Now, earlier in the game,

I noticed that Nico Autry was getting kind of close
to blocking a field goal.

In fact, I thought he blocked one of the extra points.

So right before he's about to kick, I was waiting
for a little pause so I could tell Mark and

that I don't want to say change the game, but man,
it was not trending in a good direction at all,

interceptions you're gonna see. I mean what it catch. It
was as good a catch you Saul Night. Number three.

in Week seven and started with one of the better
games in the I think over the whole weekend between
two forty year old starting quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers, for the
Pittsburgh Steelers and Joe Flacco for the Cincinnati Bengals. It

end zone with a Denver touchdown.

The Broncos have all three timeouts and it's now twenty
six fourteen, and props to Evan Ingram, the tight end
got just enough of a block there in the corner
of the end zone without holding to let Nix get
in and score that touchdown.

Fans already regretting having left now at twenty six to
sixteen and plenty of time left, Justin Strenard of wake
Forest intercepted Jackson Dart.

Harvey, the rookie out in the flat, for a two
yard touchdown pass to cut the lead to three.

Denver goes without a huddle. Now Harvey stays in the game.
He's lined up behind Knicks, who's under center. Knicks rolls
to he's right, throws the ball into the flat.

Harvey has it and Denver has a touchdown.

Twenty six, twenty two, Knicks to Harvey from two yards out.

Two point play down four three fifty one left. Harvey,
the lone running back just popped out there in the flat,
nobody guarding him. Easy throw, easy catch, touchdown Broncos.

And then a few moments later, bo Nicks did it again.
This time he would run one in from eighteen yards
out and they would take the lead.

But he wasn't over because Jackson Dart was able to

a drive alive that would get them a position to
score a touchdown to again take the lead, but they
missed the extra point that made it thirty two to

thirty Giants. Bow Knicks was like, I got this, We're
all good. He found Courtland Sutton in the fourth quarter,
a former teammate of Damarius Thomas, who was being put
into the Broncos Hall of Fame Hall of Honor, right
next to Peyton Manning. This is an emotional game for
Cortland Sutton. He came with a big play here to

seconds to go. Denver with the ball on the twenty
lined up with the ball being spotted near Hash at
the twenty nine at attempt to thirty nine yards for
the win.

It is good Broncgon players celebrating, right, they just won
a home playoff game.

Thirty three points in the fourth quarter, thirty three in
the fourth quarter, and the Giants at thirteen. It wasn't
that the Giants were shut out. They had thirteen thirty
three to thirty two. The Broncos win.

They moved to five into Giants fall to two and
five with a gut punch loss for the Giants, but
Bo Nicks led them back ran it well. He threw
for two seventy nine and two touchdowns. Corland Sutton had
that big catch right at the end to set up
the game winning field goal. Jackson Dart threw for three touchdowns,

rate and he had an interception. Giants thrown worst enemy. Unfortunately,
they lose thirty three to thirty two. All right, that

Was just such a gut punch, there were plenty of plays.
I left a lot on the cutting room floor for
this week. So let's get to our ultimate eleven and
start with a guy that has consistently picked up his
play every single week, Tommy Togii. He also had a
pass breakup to go along with the two TFLs you're

gonna hear. This is number eleven, two plays from Tommy Togii.
Speaker 20 (33:03):
Here they are the Seahawks at the Houston forty two.
They rushed to the line of scrimmage first down at
the Houston forty two. Walker in the backfield, Darnald under center,
Arroyos sets up on the left wing. Donald feeds Walker
running left and he's bumped again by Barnett, tripped up
by Henry or rather Tommy. Tommy got him togy I

in the backfield and he couldn't get by Henry and
friends at the line of scrimmage, so about a half
yard loss on the play, second down and long coming
up the step. Third down and two at the Houston
twenty eight Sharmoney in the backfield, Darnald under center, bunch
formation left, including an extra lineman hand off, Charbona trying
to fight a hole up the middle. But I have
trouble doing it because the Texans stop and Tommy getting

there with his friends.

He may have lost ranking yard and his these is.
Speaker 20 (33:54):
On the bottom of the pile and it looks like
they forced him backwards about a yard, so they're gonna
try field goal here, Drey.
Speaker 4 (34:01):
You had to make it still a one score game.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Fortunately it would remain a one score game for the
bad guys. Now, you have as standing rule as you
all know if you've listened to this show, that if
the Texans get beat, number ten is always paying homage
to the victor, and in this case it was Seattle Seahawks.
So at number ten, I chose this play seven and
nothing after the aziz al Shire penalty gave the Seahawks

another look at it. Sam Donald found Jackson Smith Injigba
and JSN was just fabulous I mean just fabulous all night.

I didn't see this.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
In fact, I see myself on the TV copy walking
away because I didn't want to watch. I didn't know
he was gonna go up and dunk the ball in
a goalpost, but caught the slant route, fought off Derek
Stingley Junior caught it. Touchdown. Mad respect for JSN at
Seahawks and have JSN. They don't win that game last night,
but they do and he was tremendous in This touchdown
comes in at number ten, first.

Down at the Houston eleven with fifteen seconds to go
in the first quarter. Texan's already down seven to nothing.
Backs against the wall. Walker in the backfield, Darnald under center.
Walker moves to his left. Now Donald back to pass.

Yeah, man, I got loud when he made that touchdown,
then dunked on the goal post, the ultimate embarrassment. All right,
it's get to number nine. Jalen Knowles showed up in
a big way. This catch of twenty one yards came
in the fourth quarter. You could see the rookie starting
to come along and man. Would that be a development
for this offense.

But the matter at hand, it's fourth down and a
long five inside the twenty five of Seattle.

I just I hate the fact that he was not
rewarded with a win With the way that he played.
He led all Texans receivers in catches and yards. He

X across the formation. Stroud thanks to get floats on

Boot but hit Schultz forty forty five and Shultz stiff
arm and he's down at the forty seven forty eight
yard line along the sideline in front of the Seattle bench.

That's a play that has been there all night long.
Speaker 21 (37:48):
The boot leg and coming out the backside to Dalton
Schultz who's on the back side of the plate, and
so you can it's there unless there's a blitz, all.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
Right, let's get number seven and a guy that showed
up for the first time all year and well worth.
In fact, we'll have a little bit more from him
at number six. But it's Deniko Autrey getting a sack
late in the fourth quarter.
Speaker 20 (38:14):
Third down and seven from the Seahawks nine, and this
could be ballgame. Donald in the gun with Charbonay in
the backfield with him. Here's the snap, Here's a pass

In the end zone. Donald's gonna go down.

Donald got across the goal line as Audrey gets him,
so it's not a safety. But Donald sacked deep and
the Texans will burn another time out twenty seven to
twelve day trail.

This defense has played well at times tonight, well enough
for this team to win, for the Texans to win.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Okay, let's get to number six, and this is actually
a three play sequence right at the end of the half,
complementary football special teams in defense, offense special teams. And
it happened perfectly here. Jason Myers lined up to kick
a fifty three yard field goal. Now, earlier in the game,
(39:11):
I noticed that Nico Autry was getting kind of close
to blocking a field goal.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
In fact, I thought he blocked one of the extra points.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
So right before he's about to kick, I was waiting
for a little pause so I could tell Mark and
Andre hey, watch Autrey lo and behold. The first part
of number six Denico Autry blocking in the fifty three
yard field goal.
Speaker 20 (39:33):
Fifty three yards a miss would come in real handy
for the Texans. With twenty three seconds to go in
the half, Dixon will hold Flyers with the kick.
Speaker 13 (39:42):
From the left pass mark.

It's blocked and it ends up on the Texans end
of the field, rolling to the end zone.

an excellent way to play the position. You've been taught this.

Kaymi Fairbaard knocking it home, stealing three points basically before
the end of the half.

Stewart forced the fumble. It looked like A. ZS Is
going to be the guy with the football coming out
of the pile, but it was MJ. Stewart from his
safety spot that forced that ball out after the catch.

It's get to number four and number twenty four Derek
Stingley Junior with another interception on the season. I believe
this is his second big time big pick dasting coming
to number four.
Speaker 20 (43:12):
Donald and the gun on first at eighteen from the
Seahawks thirty eight yard line. One back Charbaday. Donald's gonna throw.
He throws down field and it's picked off by Stingley
fifty forty five right side the forty stiff farm and
out of mountains at the thirty six yard line. Flag
comes down for the hands to the face and there's

a brawl of the bench area. Lots of push agains
shoving Texans sideline.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
All right, Let's get to another interception at number three
that I don't want to say change the game, but man,
it was not trending in a good direction at all,
and Kaylen Bullock came up with one of the better
interceptions you're gonna see. I mean what it catch. It
was as good a catch you Saul Night. Number three.

First down at the Houston twenty one Seahawk driving walker
in the backfield. Darnled under center and gives at the cup.
Who's gonna throw? He passes, it's picked off, go up
of course the twenty left sideline amount of bounds if
that's twenty three yard line. Kalen with the pick and
just what the Texans needed.

All right, It's get to two.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
What he marks getting in the end zone again, making
himself available for CJ. Stroud, buying time to find him
in the end zone. This comes in number two.

Higgins to the right, Bryant and Company bunch formation left
third and goal at the four straut of the gun.
Speaker 13 (44:37):
Marks in the backfield. CJ to throw.
Speaker 20 (44:39):
Looking looking, CJ doesn't like what he sees, wants to
scramble out to the right side, drops back deeper, throws
to the end zone, and it's caught what he marks, touchdown, Houston.

They kept the dream alive. They kept it alive. Unfortunately
would die a few plays later. It's get the number
one complimentary football. Tommy Townsend punts and pins of Seahawks
inside the four when the Texans needed it, and Will
Anderson Junior came up with his first touchdown as a Texan.

Third down and seven at the seven of Seattle. They'll
go empty. Here Darnald with cup in motion to the right.
Now Charmona motions into the backfield. I'm third and seven
from the Seahawks seven. Donald in the gun calling for
the ball. Here's the snap. Darnald at the goal line
pumping Donald in trouble and.

The ball is out and Will Anderson has it for
a touchdown.
