Speaker 1 (00:06):
Everybody, Welcome into the Irish Studios podcast, the podcast for
Pittsburgh Steeters fans across the island of Ireland. And as
we get ready for another weekend, the storm is brewing
across the island. We hope you cozy up and listen
to this podcast as we get set for a big
Week fourteen matchup. Michael McCray is likely be joined with
Jimmy English Dave og ni Key as we get set Jimmy,
(00:28):
another week of studiers football and we have to embrace
this because eventually this is going to end for hopefully
only six or seven months after a Super Bowl win,
but before we know it will all be over. So
we have to embrace these long, dark Sunday weekends now
Sunday night.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Sorry, yeah, it's it's getting towards the It's December football
make it's the best time of the year for NFL fans.
Christmas is coming down the line as well in a
few short weeks. And this is what we live for,
isn't it is? Football? The dark evenings, sitting in there
on a Sunday, your favorite team play like it's great.
I love it so long long may continue. I know
(01:06):
we have a limited amount of NFL Sundays left, so
let's just savor each and every one of them and
hopefully our steeers will be still alive come January. I'm
playing postseason football.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
We are going to talk over that Browns game and
the bet that game is on NFL Game Pass on
the Zone this weekend. Dave, it's great to see Hiding
doing well. Mckyeah, I'm still having fully recovered from Sunday.
You know, the hard poblititions brought right down to the line.
But I'm honestly I've been looking the left ever since.
(01:39):
That's a Blizzard game against the Brons to get the rans.
So yeah, I'm pretty much the same as Jimmy. I'm
counting down.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
You know, it's not never a nice time of the
year to do when you're counting down the weekend us
till the end of the season, and because it's a
bit of a better sweet thing knowing that there's only
a few weeks left. But yeah, I'm really excited of
where we're out of the moment, and yeah, long may contending.
We just need to watch or we just just sort
of take everything in straight in the next couple of
weeks and hope well, we'll be watching playoff football sooner
(02:06):
rather than ter So yeah, I'm happy where we're at
at the moment.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
We're going to talk about the game in just a
few moments, but I want to talk about something very
quickly with yourself, do because we both had a look
at it. The Hard Knocks in season for the FC
North dropped earlier this week and we had a chance
to watch it and all of this sudden You're watch
list at the weekend. Jimmy as well, It's I thought
it really interesting, man, But more so I think we
(02:31):
know already. I mean, for me, we know already how
much crack coach Tomlin is. But to see him in
that viewpoint, if you feel like you'd love to see
him or you'd love to actually be in a training
sashion and see what he's like like that, I think
the one decided for me.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
And it shows you what sort of a money is
in a positive way.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
The Thanksgiving moment, like so many of these guys don't
have family with them. Some of these guys are from
not just across the world, but across the country, and
for him to bring that in shows the camaraderie, shows
of relationship that he has as not just with the
players in this team, but everybody in this franchise, and
I think that can't be underestimated. But more soon for
me as well. It showed just how much of a
(03:09):
competitive division is AFC or FIS and also this league
never sleeps. What did you think of the first episode?
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Yeah, not to be playing too much spoiler on Jimmy,
to be fair, I don't want to spoil too much
on you, but to be honest, yeah, it was amazing
to get them to see first hand what sort of
preparation goes in the game week.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
You know.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Of course, me and myself and Jimmy got to visit
the facilities back in October and they're not in the
short of sublime. But if there was one thing I
took from the episode, it was clear us to me
as to why Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season.
You know, the levels of preparation and that constant reminder
that the standard is a standard. You know, it's no
wonder players like Nick Kurbik, Charm Hayward, players that were
(03:48):
prominent figures throughout the episode, want to run through the
breack wall for him and the levels of trust he
put in the neck, you know, to make that play
in Burrows. You know, he challenged him to take on
around O Brown what he did, and and you know
he wasn't a base because he had that belief in
him to go out and make that play. So for me,
that really stood out. And I watched the other three
coaches as well, and it's safe to say, you know,
(04:09):
neither of them can help leglovn ar game when it
comes to that pure charisma but ability to motivate players,
and it really just awakens the fact that you know,
we're extremely lucky to have them. So overall, I did
enjoy the episode. You mentioned about the Thanksgiving as well.
He was putting his hand up saying, you know, whoever
wants to have Thanksgiving of man, you're welcome. But overall
enjoyed the absolute expectasty, you know, the same level of
(04:30):
preparation next week after we hopefully take revenge on the Brown.
So yeah, very happy and yeah, I'll leave that at that.
So let Jimmy enjoy the episode over the weekend. When
he gets a bit of time, he startled.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Well, Now for me, David, I'm looking forward to getting
a spare half an hour, forty five minutes hopefully over
the weekend at some stage. I'm going to Wild Lights
in Dublin Zoo tomorrow tomorrow evening or sorry, Saturday, Saturday evening,
So busy weekend ahead with football as well, and I'm
sure I'll be able to squeeze in at some stage.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Obviously a very busy weekend without there, hopefully get a
chance to catch up on it.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
That's the really bit hard dogs.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
We can almost go back on it as well at
the end of the season if we want to go
and watch it there. So it's there, it's it's it's
always going to be there, and I love binging it
actually when the season ends, because we've we've got such
a gap, but we really enjoyed to see coach Thommon
and see what he does as well. Steelers obviously playing
the Browns this season or this this weekend, sorry lads,
a penultimate home game of the season. That game, as
(05:27):
he says, is on the NFL game Pass, and a
really really key few weeks for this team as we
get into the final stretch of the season. This Browns
game this week, a massive game against the Eagles next week,
which we'd like and hope probably to see on television
over here as TBC early next week, and we'll let
people know as quickly as we can on the broadcast
or on the podcast next week whenever that happens. And
(05:48):
then a couple of big games to finish off the
Ravens the week before Christmas Saturday Night Half nine fantastic,
the Chiefs on Christmas Day, and the Bengals to finish
it off. So some massive games coming up on an
as see North game coming up this weekend. Before we
preview the game, that's here from coach Tomlin, who previews
this game against the Brons on the Irish Students podcast.
Speaker 6 (06:08):
Let's get back to Cleveland. If you saw the game
last night, man, you saw what they're capable of. With
Dorsey as a play caller and Winston as a quarterback.
It was some explosive play making. They went up and
down the field. Judy had a big night. And that's
what I meant when I described him as a as
a gunslinger a couple of weeks ago when we played him. Man,
(06:31):
he's got unbelievable arm talent. He was the first pick
in the draft and you're not the first pick in
the draft for no reason. Man, he's got arm strength,
he's got accuracy, he's got trajectory. He can place the
ball just about anywhere on the field. He's a big
time competitor to boot. He never turns down competition. You know,
he's gonna fight to win possession downs and things of
(06:54):
that nature.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
Man.
Speaker 6 (06:55):
We got to do a really good job of matching
that competitive spirit making our plays knowing that there's a
potential that you could give some up. Man, when a
guy comes at you the way he does and with
the with the amount of weaponry that he has at
his disposal. I'll talk about some of those weapons. Can't
say enough about Nanjoku Man and his growth and development
(07:15):
over his time in Cleveland. He's a splash play guy.
He's down the field in a lot of ways. He's
really good and the underneath rhythm passing to get spot
drop zones, and so he's a big play guy and
a high volume guy. He does a real nice job
in max protection. They balance out the max protection by
(07:37):
hitting him on check downs and throwing tight end screens.
It's kind of always been a function of their ball
since he's been there. We gotta be thoughtful about who
we put on them. Uh and and and win. He's
a big time red zone threat. He got big in
the red zone against US for a two point play.
He got big last night in the red zone as well.
(08:01):
It shows up consistently, and so it's something to be
reckon with his talents and the way that they utilize
his talents. Judy is a route runner. They move them
around quite a bit to make it difficult for you
to match up on them, but they do a really
nice job of of, you know, utilizing his skill set.
Is not a route that he can't run. He gets
(08:22):
in and out of breaks really well. He's capable of
going by you in terms of the vertical passing game.
He could create space and separation in the non vertical
passing game with a short area. Quicks More and the
others man round out the group, both of the running backs,
and I say both backs, because man, they're utilizing forward
(08:44):
equally as much as they are mister Chubb at this juncture,
and so we got to respect that component of it
as well. Man, We've got a lot of things to
get prepared for, but I'm sure they have a similar posture.
The familiarity makes it fun and challenging time. I'm excited
about getting started with this process man and continuing with
(09:05):
our divisional journey. No rest for the weary. I'm excited
about getting back to it this week and in the
confines and actors.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Sure great to hear.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
From coach Tomlin as we get set for a Week
fourteen matchup, a key matchup in the AFC North where
the Cleveland Browns visit the Pittsburgh Steeters and Jimmy just
to start off, I guess if we look at the Browns,
we have to ignore the fact that we have to
move on from the fact that what happened a few
weeks ago. We know it wasn't good enough by our standards.
(09:35):
We know what happened that night with whoever, but we
also know that we need to be better against the
Browns team that we'll be looking at any AFC North
game as a cup final and seeing how they played
on Monday night. I know Jameis Winston did struggle to
an extent and came against the Denver Broncos, but we
know he can get a ball together and throw the
ball and when he's on it, he is on it.
(09:58):
I can't think of a better situation for both teams
to go in like we know that the Steelers team
Jimmy had up forty points plus last week, but the
Browns will be itching to come out and play here.
They'll they'll be looking at this Steelers team saying, well,
we beat them too, because we go why can't we
beat them on their own house? And that's a real
issue to look at this week, and I'm sure that's
something that you look at as a Browns team that
(10:18):
really wants to show what they work, especially guys like
Jerry Judy as well, who'll be itching to get back
on the field after going to his former team in
Denver on Monday night. Just a key match up, Jimmy,
and it feels like that home crowd need to get
after that Browns team.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah, I'm hoping that we learned from our mistakes in
the last game against the Browns big Obviously this is
at home, so there'll be a certain advantage there. Hopefully
the weather will be slightly more accommodating. Although I keep
saying we can't look, there's no argument that the weather
does have an effect in the game, and I'm players performance.
It didn't seem to affect the Browns as much as
(10:52):
it affected us, So I don't think we can really
rely on that time this time around. Look, the Browns
game was a massive try game. We won't be walking
into that same trap again. I think they'll be walking
in with their eyes a lot more, a lot more
open and this time around, and it's must win. Like
you said, the Browns are treating this game like a
cup final, like complete the equivalent of their Super Bowl.
(11:15):
But every game from for us now, from now until
whenever the season does conclude, its must win. You know,
we have we had tight victories against the Ravens. It's
a tight one against Cincinnati. So we are in a
good position in the AFC new work and the AFC overall.
But we have to keep the momentum going now and
tighten things up, certainly on both offense and defense. Definitely
(11:37):
have to tighten up the penalties. That was a major
issue last week. And the good news is Alex Heismith
is looking like you'll be back on the edge. And
let's let's not you know, discount the performance of Nick Krbig.
He's been nothing short of sensational. And I know coach
Tummlin was coded during the week of saying there's most
thing as too many pass rushers and he's absolutely right.
(11:59):
I mean, he could have all three of them out
there on the field at the same time. It will
be absolutely would be absolutely fantastic for us. So I'm
a lot more Look, I was confident before the last
Brand's game. I was less confident afterwards. I'm a I'm
a bit back up now. I'm slightly more confident and
still a lot of things there to look at though.
I mean, Jerry Judy had a monster game against his
(12:21):
former team. Definitely going to have to contain him, which
I think our secondary is more than capable of doing.
And I would like to see Russell Wilson get a
bit more protection from our line against the likes of
Miles Garrett and me and Miles Girl had a fantastic
outing against us the last time around, So look on
the whole, I will be definitely optimistic. But again it's
(12:42):
it's it's an asc North match up. You never know
what's gonna happen, really, dear.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
You never know.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
And you're sort of talking about her big there, and
we'll talk to at the top of the Steelers and
Louis second day because her biggest force to fumble in
Flee Street Division games. That's unreal. See if you make
it four in a row this week, just.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Looking at the Browns very quickly, Dave as well.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
We know the situation they've have with Sean Watson, and
we know that Jamis Winston. He's not perfect, as he
said it himself, and nobody's perfect, and he's praying to
get better and better each week.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
As he says, he can still put one up. And
this Brown's offense is.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
If you take away the fact that they're a major
rival and their AFC nor if they're efficient, they're fun
to watch the times they can get stuff done. I
remember last year whenever Joe Flackol came in towards the end,
he was he really added at that team. And you
can see as something that Jameis Winston has done. We
need to worry about this. You know, they can definitely
make the mark on it on their debt.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
No, you're you're just right, MC. Jameis Winston. You mentioned
about him. He's a very hot and cold player. I
think the game on Monday Night probably signifies his career.
I think he nearly threw from near five hundred yards.
He threw for three touchdowns, but he also was a
three touch four touchdowns, maybe three interceptions and I think
it was two peck sexes. But really, you know, describes
(13:55):
his career in a nutshell. He's very hot in cold.
And what I've said earlier in the week is, well,
if there's one team I he hate to losing too,
it is the Browns. The reason I would rather lose
to the likes of the Ravens, of even the Bengals,
because there's a level of understanding there on a level
of us back where you can maybe say, yeah, look,
they probably be because we were a batter team on
the day.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
With the Browns, it's never the case.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
It just it's a well known fact. And they were
massively helped by you know, the weather, the blizzards, as
we've already manchined. Even russ you know, for example, balled
out in a second half, and if it just wasn't
for the few miss hoops on clock management, and you
know that the penalties as well, we would probably be
sitting here ten and two and nine instead of nine
and three. So I will say, however, you know, I
was impressed with our offense. You know, we've mentioned that
(14:37):
Jerry Jude had a great game against his old team,
had a good game against US against US in the
snow as well, and I think he ended up going
for just over two hundred and thirty five yards on
a touchdown as well. So it's an offense can definitely
put up points on the board, especially when you factor
in the level of opponent. You know, the Broncos defense
is a serious unit. There are no joke, but that's
proven last week in Cincinnati. Our offense is also capable
(14:58):
of putting up points. So I feel like it's a
perfect opportunity to start summer vans on a team that
you know, we've just mentioned it as well. This is
another shaper boat for them and let's just go out
in the fact of the end their playoffs. I think
mathematically we do win. That's what I'm eliminated from playoffs,
and I can think of no better team to do
it than the Petsburgh Stader. So really looking forward to
the game. Great opportunity, you know, with the Ravens on
(15:20):
a buy and it's a win, let's the title not
break on the division. So I'm really looking for for
for a win and a dominant one hopefully.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Thank you for the reminder of the Ravens are a
bye it's it's it's a big point to make this week,
especially when it's such a late by in this season,
and Jimmy just just very quickly before we hear from
some players in the locker room, I feel like, and
it's my fall as well. And I'm not talking as
much as we as we probably need to in terms
of special teams. When we have a guy there like
Chris Boswell. He has three career games now it was six,
(15:52):
sorry SHREI career games this season with six or more
midfield goals. That's the most in NFL history. We have
a serious x FI there, and if he's going to
be called on a Sunday, I feel like we can
trust him to about the Ravens and an ago.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
We know how difficult the season Justin Tucker's had.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
It's not always where we can say that a kicker
is reliable, but Chris Boswell has proven that this season
for us. He has been our real, real magic moment
for this team, and we might need him. It could
be a situation where he makes a winning kick for
us on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yeah, absolutely, making me. You talk about the struggles there
of of Justin Tucker, which which have been mind boggling,
really mean, especially in their last out and he had
he made several easy kicks against the Egos and the
Yeps eating points.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
Sorry the Yeps, I'm.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Absolutely massive, massive case of the Yeps. That's exactly what
he has. He's in his own head and you can
see the reaction to John Harborne the sideline. It's just
it's it's it's mind boggling. So to have the reliability
of a kicker like Chris Boswell, who is almost automatic.
You never want to jinx a kicker and call him
automatic because he know exactly what will happen if you
do that. But we know what it would absolute confidence
(17:04):
and certainty that any time he comes into the field
to kick a field goal, be here from forty yards
fifty yards, there's a massive chance back kick is going
to be good. And there's a reason that he's been
I think he's been voted the AFC Special Special Teams
Player of the Month twice this year, which is just
which is incredible. So he's a massive asset of the team.
He's definitely our biggest offensive weapon and could certainly be
(17:27):
the difference maker deep into the when we do eventually
get to the postseason.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Yes, sir, we're gonna punch that ticket soon. Please go on,
keep going, Danny Smith, he's having a hell of a
season as well, really really enjoying it so far in
terms of the special teams play that we have so.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
Far this season.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
We're gonna hear from a couple of players in the
locker room on this Thursday before we get ready for
this game and make our game picks on the Irish
Steelers Podcast.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
James, you know they put up over five hundred yards
last week or just a couple of days ago, so
you know they're definitely humming at the right levels. And
you know they have UH playmakers at every level. And
you know in Djoku, Judy, you know Nick Chubb, you
can never forget about UH forward and so we have
(18:16):
to be on our p's and q's, and you know
they've just grown a lot with having Jamis at the
helm and you know he's slicling dice right now. Kim,
how do you think you guys can defend? It?
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Tight ends the shot?
Speaker 5 (18:30):
You know, is it an improvement? I I don't know you.
I just play the game. You know, I'm I think
number wise, we according to you, I think we're doing
pretty good. But uh, you know, I think you know,
we're honestly just trying to win games. I don't think
we you know, target and say hey we stopped the
tight end, so now we're all good. But uh, you know,
(18:51):
whatever whatever task we get, we got to stop the.
Speaker 7 (18:54):
Turnover culture that you guys have specifically this season. What
is it about this defense that it's not enough to
knock the ball loose, but to jump on and recover it,
score a pick six or a scoop and score.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
Well, I think one we don't even acknowledge it if
we don't you know, recover it. And so the culture
is you have guys in this locker room, TJ. Patrick, Quay,
Minka Deshaun Elliott, you know, Nick Harbig, Uh, they are
ball savvy and uh, you know, have a lot of
awareness to it. But uh, you know, it trickles down
(19:27):
to everybody and everybody's just trying to you know, knock
the ball loose.
Speaker 7 (19:31):
Obviously scoring getting the ball back to the offense is
a big motivation, but how much of a loose is
it to get a T shirt?
Speaker 2 (19:36):
A turnover T shirt.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
I'm still looking for my first one. So you know,
there's a lot of jealousy out there, but uh, I
got picked my play up. You get like, no, they
they haven't give me anything. You don't get anything for
the tip and don't don't don't quote me on that.
Speaker 8 (19:53):
There was a time where young guys didn't play as
much early onf but you guys in the last couple
of years, contribusion from some of the players defense. What
do you think is has led to that? And kind
of what's the impact being the young guys step up.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
In a keyboard? Oh, you know, I think that they
come in a lot more ready, you know, and uh,
they spent a lot of time in you know, watching film,
learning the playbook. Uh, and if they're up to the task,
they're taking advantage of you know, I wasn't fortunate enough
to play early, but these guys have been, you know,
definitely able to do it, and you know it's helped
us out of the tremendously.
Speaker 7 (20:28):
What's the key to how well you're playing right now?
Speaker 5 (20:30):
Is it just being healthy or is there something healthy technique,
film study? I think that's all included, and you know,
desire to just keep trying to get better.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
See addressed the team ahead of the bay this game,
I mean, it seems like he's really found his.
Speaker 8 (20:51):
Voice this year.
Speaker 7 (20:52):
How would you seen him develop from that standard?
Speaker 5 (20:54):
Well, we picked somebody new every week to do the
uh our our quote unquote you know, you know, meet
during our meeting time. But uh he uh it was
his time and you know we nudged him to go
do it. But uh, you know we talk about him
starting fast, starting early, and what better way to do
(21:16):
that than you know, get the get the group right.
Speaker 9 (21:20):
We just you know, happy that we're getting another opportunity.
You know, they came out, you know, hats off to them, man,
they played a uh a good game, you know, our
first out team out there and stuff like that, and
we get another opportunity to uh, you know, to see
him at acasure this.
Speaker 10 (21:37):
Sunday and coming off I mean a big win like
you guys are. I mean, how much does that help
with the momentum to all.
Speaker 9 (21:44):
The momentum good and always uh it always feel great,
you know, uh getting ready for a new opponent, you
know who are not new, but you know what I'm saying,
the next opponent off of win. But at the same time,
you know, we we're so focused in on this week.
You know, we didn't. We didn't turn the page, you know,
because if you keep just thinking about living in the
(22:05):
week's past, you know, off of when you know, you're
not able to handle what's in front of you. And
right now we're just trying to take care of what's
in front of us.
Speaker 10 (22:12):
Everyone was talking about this gauntlet, you know, four Street
divisional games. Now you guys have one lap before you
go to Philly and all of that. Just how would
you assess how the defense has done through these.
Speaker 9 (22:23):
First three on your first question, I just feel like,
you know, people outside the building was just you know,
on the scheduling type thing. We didn't really put our
focus around it. We wanted to handle what was in
front of us, and that was whatever game that week was,
that's all we could control. That's why this week with
the Browns is all we control is the Browns, you know,
not what's what's coming next and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
So yeah, great to hear from some of the guys
in the locker room and had a social key game.
This Steelers Brians game, as I said, is a ultimate
home game all of the regular season for the Pittsburgh Steelers,
who are looking to make more traction on this af
SCENE North with some key matchups coming up over the
next few weeks, including the Eagles the Ravens as well,
(23:06):
and so some big, big games coming up. This is
a big games first up, Jimmy, I'm gonna give my pick.
I mean, I think I think we're all gonna take
the Staters, right. I think it's gonna be a hard game.
I think it's gonna be dominated on the ground from us.
If it's a game where we see Russ struggle to
get some passes underway or struggle to get some points
on the board, I want to see more from Nagie.
I want to see more from Jalen. I think our
(23:27):
special teams get us out with a twenty one to
seventeen win on Sunday, and the Steelers bridge that gap
and open up that new gap. Sorry in the AFC
North over the Ravens. How do you see this game
going with the Brians. It's a real revenge game for me.
Get that double league.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, it's a massive revenge game for me as well, Mick,
and I think it's so important for us, like they said,
to win each and every game the remainder of the season,
particularly in the AFC in the AFC Nord. Sorry, Look,
we saw Jamie Winston was curio last weekend. On Monday
Night against the Broncos. He had four touchdowns and three interceptions.
(24:06):
So the ball is going to be there for the
taking it. It is going to be in the air.
I think I'd like to see Joey Porter Junior get
an interception or two. I mean, Dante Jackson has been
fantastic in terms of ball talking. OU would like to
see Joey Porter and even Minka I mean, look, without
going off on a tangent here, Minca has been effective
in other ways. He's been more of an in the
(24:26):
box safety this year, almost like an additional linebacker looks.
I don't think I've ever picked against the Steelers in
this podcast, bar maybe a season prediction, a season preview
earlier on the summer. I'm not going to start picking
against the Steelers now. Stedlers are going to win. It's
going to be a tight game. I agree, and I
do see us eating the out a win. Chris Boswell
(24:48):
is going to be absolutely crucial in this. I can
see it coming down to a last second field goal.
I'm going Steelers twenty four, Browns twenty one.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Look when you look at the Steelers team and you
know yourself to playing the team as at the time
of recording, with eleven wins and the Chiefs in two weeks,
three weeks, sorry on Christmas Day. Every win matters. Now,
I know what you're gonna say here, But the man,
the man in the duney gall top is gonna ball here.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
What's the score going to be?
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Yeah, they call me the Michael Murphy of a game
predictions mix. So yeah, it's every week, comebacks, every week.
That's it, No no surprise. I'm going for the Steelers
as well. Like I've said, it's a perfect opportunity for revenge.
You know the Browns as well. They're on a short week,
having to travel back cross country from Danver. They're on
the road again. We've got an extra day's rest as well.
(25:39):
That just cannot be over overstated. I mean, the day's
rest makes a massive difference. It's it's proven. It just
seems that it's written in the stars that will go
and spit the season series. I mean, I can't remember.
I don't have the start, but I'm sure it's been
years since the last time the Browns swapped us, so
I can't see that happening. Although I think we will win.
I think it's an FC North Divisional game, so I
imagine it's going to be close. You just don't get
(26:00):
blow it. So I'm gonna go Steelers thirty Branch twenty four,
heading down to my local Santan Berrand and Jannon and
later on to make a lodgment. Then you can take
that to the bank.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
A lot of banks on that month street. I will
pop over and meet you as well after that if
you want. Yeah, big one this week. It feels like
just such a such a big moment, a key moment
in the season.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
It's one of those games.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
If we can get over to get over this bridge,
we can take the next few weeks and take every
final night as we get it over the next week.
You would expect and we hope that that game against
the Eagles in week fifteen will be on TV. If
that is the case, then the game on Saturday night
the week after is and the game on Netflix on
Christmas Day as well, So a lot of great options
to watch on TV hopefully over the next few weeks.
(26:41):
Game Pass this week OTV Sports Radio. If you're not there,
you can follow us on all forms of social media
x Instagram, Steeers Ireland. We will be back on Monday
or Tuesday to recap it and hopefully recap a massive
win as we bridge that gap in the AFC North
For now, for myself, Jimmy and Dave O, here we go.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
We will chat to these
