Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome to another episode of New York Her.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm your host, Caroline Hendershot, and today we are joined
by another very special guest. We have Sammy Jancola, who
is known as Sammy Sweetheart from Jersey Shore, joining the show.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Sammy, thanks so much for joining me.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Thanks for having me. I'm so happy to be here
right now.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
I'm so excited to have you on because we briefly
met week three when some of the Jersey shorecast came
to the game against the Patriots, and you guys came
on our live show, and it was so much fun,
and you and Snookie were just like so energetic on
our pregame show that I was like, oh my god,
I have to talk to her more and find out
more about her.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
It was really fun having you guys.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
We honestly had the best day ever, and especially like
meeting you and being able to do that with such
a surreal experience. We were like, oh my god, we
can't believe we just did that. Just so much fun
talking about the Jets and being able to talk about
us ourselves, and had a blast meeting you too. You
were so sweet and so kind to us. We were like,
you know what, we can do this.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
I'm perfect, perfod Okay, I want to get it.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
We'll talk more about the jets at the end, but
I want to get into the origin of Sammy Sweetheart
and the Jersey Shore and just kind of that whole
process of that show starting and then it taking off
and your fame along with it taking off, and how
that was. So when it first debuted, it was in
two thousand and nine, and that was right after your
(01:28):
senior year of college, right.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Yeah, I actually was still in college and I was
playing soccer in college. I remember when I went to
do the show, I had to tell my mom to
like call my coach and tell him I wasn't coming
back for pre season because it was like in the
middle of filming, and I actually had my mom.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
I called my job.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
I was working at an eye doctor office, and I
had to like have her tell them.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
I'm not coming back to work.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Like it was like I was living a normal, regular
life and that I was just filming this random show
that I had no idea what it was going to
turn into.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
I had no idea what it was going to be.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
It was kind of like I was just living life
at the shore, which I always do every summer anyway,
because I grew up in Jersey at the shore. So
when this opportunity presented itself, I was like, Oh, this
is my normal life. I hang out at the shore
all the time. Why not try something like this. So
that's what I did.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
And I had no idea what.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Would be what it is today, right because when did
you have to like audition for it? How did they
find you and how did they kind of convince you
to stick it out and then obviously not go back
to preseason, have to not go back to your job.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
All Yeah, what a wild ride? Honestly, how can I
discuss this? I was twenty one when I did the show.
I was twenty two.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
So when I was twenty one, I was going to Bellmart,
New Jersey, and I was working all week and I
saved up my money to like do every weekend. We
got a house with a bunch of people and I
would sleep there and hang out in Bellmart in New
Jersey and like party. So one of my best friends
was like, oh my god, there's a survey online that
was like define a weekend at the Jersey Shore. And
it was just like a survey and you can send
(03:06):
your picture and you didn't really know what was going
to happen. So I'm like, Jen, this is our life.
We have to like tell the funny stories that happened.
And like I just sent a picture and the next
thing you know, I got a phone call asking to
like do an audition or whatever be a part of
a show, and I was like okay, and then I
went and I just.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Auditioned like the Jersey girl that I am, And next thing,
you know, my mom the show. It was so random,
it was really.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
And it's crazy how something like just a survey that
you don't think anything of then completely changes the tra
directory of your life and like what it could have been. So, yeah,
what was that first initial like episode when you're meeting
everyone and it's like the first day essentially?
Speaker 1 (03:50):
What was that?
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Like?
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Yeah, So I didn't even I thought actually the show
was going to be in Bellmar.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I didn't even know it was going to be in Seaside.
I know it yet. If I knew that, I probably
wouldn't have done it back and then.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
But no, I love Seaside now. But when I walked
in there, I was just like okay, like is this
like the real world?
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Like what am I doing?
Speaker 4 (04:10):
I'm meeting random people and I actually even knew, like
I knew Mike from being out in Bellmar, Like there's
some people I knew, yeah, Mike, which was kind of funny,
but I was yeah, it was like.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I was young in twenty two and I was like, whatever,
this is kind of fun, but.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Was it also hard because when you were filming, you
don't have access to cell phones or internet or TV.
So like you're just with these strangers that they put
you in a house with, like for the first time.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Yes, So now you're living with these strangers and all
you have is literally the duck zhone I'm having any
DAC phone to cell phones. Yeah, you don't have any
access to computers. You don't you can't read magazines. Like
all you had was the duck phone to call your mom,
like I said earlier, Like I had to call my
mom from the duck phone and be like, Mom, I'm
staying in this house. I thought I was coming home
this weekend, but I'm not. I'm going to be living
(05:02):
here for the next month. Like, can you call my
job and tell them I'm not coming back? Can you
call my coach and tell them I'm not going to
make it a preseason like it was a lot, but
it was it ended up working out. It was kind
of you know what it likes about it. It was kind
of like a cool break from all technology. Yeah, and
like I liked it, Like I liked not having my phone.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
It's almost like it's almost like like a summer camp
kind of experience where you like kind of are forced
to unplug and just like be with these people that
you just met.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Exactly summer exactly what.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Summer camp to the next level.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
But but yes, did it take some time adjusting to
all of like the cameras being around you twenty four
to seven and like kind of not having a moment.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
To yourself totally.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Yeah, like barn, Like you wake up, there's cameras there.
You go to sleep, there's cameras there. It was at
first like a little bit hard to get used to.
But then I feel like by day like two or
three or like whatever, I don't care anymore that they're here.
They're basically like living with us now. So I feel
like I got accustomed to it pretty quick.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Is it hard to just like knowing Okay, well before
you really knew what the show would be, but like Okay,
I'm waking up and I like have BedHead or like
I don't have makeup on, And like was that kind of.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
A paranoying thought too?
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Like some people are like, oh, did you get your
makeup done?
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Like every day, like maybe some of the Housewives or
other shows, I know, they get their makeup done, and
we're like, no, we never we woke up And as
you saw us waking up is literally how.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
We woke up. Like we were messes. We were staying
out late.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
I mean we didn't have hair or makeup on, like
we were really living life normally.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
And you guys got to see that.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
All right.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Okay, so the first season of Jersey Shore, you guys
wrap filming and then you just what did you do?
You just went back home, went back to normal life
and just waited for this series to debut.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
Yeah, Like I went back to soccer, I went back
to college, and I was living a normal life.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
And then when and then it came out in December.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Yes, of two thousand and nine.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yeah, and so what was that like that when it
first came on TV.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
So we filmed in.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
The summer prior, so then I went back to school
and then when it first came out on TV.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
It was like so like it was a surreal experience.
You're like, wow, like, I'm on TV. It's so cool.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
But I think it really hit me when I thought
it was really cool was the moment I went out
I think it was at a restaurant and somebody recognized me,
and I was like, oh my god, like this is
actually like happening right now. This is like I'm on
TV and people are recognizing me. That's when it hit
me like, wow, like what am I doing?
Speaker 3 (07:35):
This is pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
How quickly would you say, like your notability kind of
skyrocketed because it was like, okay, the first episode drops
and then like when do people start recognizing you and
you start dealing with a little bit of that fame?
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Yeah, I would say that as soon as the first
episode dropped, like it was like this huge thing, right,
And there was already a lot of quests surrounding the
show prior to it beginning, so I feel like people
were kind of getting an idea of what it was.
But I think once the first episode aired and I
walked out into normal life again, that's when people are like,
oh my god, you're from that show. Jersey Shore and
(08:11):
I was like, oh my god, like a normal imagine
a normal person who was like I didn't even know
there was an executive producer on the show. I didn't
know all these things tied into making a TV show.
Like I was just a young girl, right who was
kind of like naive to it all. I didn't really
understand it all till now, Like now I'm like, wait,
there's so much that goes into a TV show. There's
(08:31):
so much that I have such appreciation for now, Whereas
back then I was so young. I don't think I
really understand.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
What was happening.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah, I don't know how to complain it.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
It's like weird.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
No, it's also just because I think it happened so quickly,
it's almost hard for you to conceptualize everything that's going
on around you because you're just kind of caught up
in the moment and it's all unfolding. Yeah, I think
so true, exactly it. I think that's probably like the
craziest aspect. So you start to get all of that fame.
(09:00):
When do they tell you that they want to like
continue the show. It wasn't just a one and done,
one season type of deal.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Yeah, So after I think we filmed the first season,
they were like, guys, you've got another season, and we
were like all excited, and I'll never forget that. We
were just like wow, like this is like such a
cool thing that we're all a part of right now,
Like it was really cool. We all sat down together
and we were like wow, like what.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Are we doing?
Speaker 2 (09:23):
And these strangers that you met day one have now
become some like lifelong friends of yours.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Did you ever expect that to happen?
Speaker 3 (09:33):
No?
Speaker 4 (09:34):
I didn't because as you're not on the show, like
you don't always get along with everybody. So but I
think when you're in it and you're all together and
you're like in this bubble, you're like wow, like I
love these people so much. We're doing it together and
now we will forever be life long friends definitely.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Which is really sweet.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
So what would you say was maybe the biggest change
you noticed in your day to day once you kind
of started getting a little bit of this fame and
your life started to kind of change.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Like I think just living normal life got a little
bit weirder because now you're going eat a restaurant and
people are recognizing you, so it's hard to like have
some private personal life, but it's all good, Like it's
all like it's like not a nice change, but it's
like your normal private life isn't really private anymore, right,
if that's I don't know how to explain that.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Right, it's just like you don't really have those like
oh I can food trapping, right, I can run to
the grocery store.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
With like in pictures at the grocery exact thing.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
You kind of have to always be on in a
sense and like always be aware, which like it's.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Yeah, like I don't really care, like I'm not like
i've right now to this day go food shopping. I
go shopping all the time, but I don't really care
what I look like. And I'm like if you see me,
I'm like, oh it's a rough day today, Like is.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
What it is? Like I don't just because I can't.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
I think it's hard to always be like on right
all the time and like we are normal people like
everybody else.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
Right, and I feel like I like I don't. I'm
somebody who.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Just likes to live still normally, like I like to
do a normal thing, So I don't. I think now
what's really cool is now I have more of an
appreciation for fans that come and say hi, okay, because
it's like nice, like thank you so much for supporting
the show and for supporting me through all these years.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Like it's like a nice it's really nice, Like I
appreciate it. Now. I'm like, wow, these people are.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
Excited to meet me, right, Like I'm excited to meet
them too. So like I feel like I always tell
people now, like you see me.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Come say hi, and like you kind of grew up
on the show you were talking about like starting when
you were twenty one, twenty two, and now it's like
so much like so many years later and you're still
on the show and people are still supporting you and
still watching and still invested in like your life and your.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Day to day.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
And I think that is almost the most impressive part
is the longevity of all of this.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
It's true. Yeah, it's like really cool. Honestly, It's cool
that I'm a will to still be a part of it.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
It's so cool that there are some die hard fans
out there that have been watching through all these years.
Because now I'm like I'm old. I'm like thirty six
years old. I did it when I was twenty two,
Like it's just for all these years to have such
amazing people still support the show and support me, and
it's just a really cool like thing.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
I guess.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Do you think growing up kind of under a microscope
as you did on the show on TV for all
of anyone to really watch, do you think that was
hard for you looking back on it.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Yeah, it was hard.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
But also like a different experience than other people might have,
so you kind of have to adapt to it. Unfortunately,
I have to look back at some of my worst
moments that is now on TV that like I can
I see all over TikTok all the time, but like
I can get a laugh at it or like you know,
I'm like, oh great, that's an embarrassing moment that I
(12:56):
have to relive.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Unfortunately it was on TV. Like I feel like like other.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
People when they like learn and grow and make mistakes
when they when they're younger, don't have that on TV.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
So they're good, right exactly? You can those can stay hidden, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Like those people's lives can stay hidden.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
Like unfortunately, my mistakes and like whatever is on TV.
But I feel like I look back and I'm like,
it is what it is at this point, and like,
I feel like I've learned a lot. I was taught
a lot of lessons, and I'm able to like look
back and actually kind of grow from it.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Right.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
So it's like, unfortunately, my pat when I was younger
and growing up in that like crap and it was
just like something I had to adapt to and get
accustomed to.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
But now it's like second nature for my life.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
And when you were filming each season, would you watch
the season back as it was airing on TV or
would you kind of steer clear from that.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
I would watch it unless it was like bad things,
And then I was like, Okay, I'm good on this one.
I'll just this episode, I'll skip this one er, We're
going to fast forward through it.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
That's fair, that's fair.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
I feel like I would also be doing the exact same.
So you film all six seasons of Jersey Shore and
then it kind of ends, and then Jersey Shore Family
Vacation starts back up, and you initially were you declined
to come back on the show. You were like, I'm
in a good place in my life. What went into
that decision? And how kind of hard was that saying
(14:21):
no to coming back on when these people are some
of your lifelong friends.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Now, Yeah, it was like.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
A very very hard decision to not come back. When
I loved everybody on the show. It was never like them.
It was more like personal reasons. I didn't want to
put myself in another toxic environment. Like I am healing
on my own side, I am living a very positive life.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
I'm focusing on myself, and I didn't want.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
To potentially put myself in an environment that I was
unsure of when I've been working so hard on myself.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
So I didn't feel like at that time it was
the right moment for me to go back.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
And I'm like, you know what, it's okay, Like I'm
focusing on normal life. I like normal life and I
like to live normal life. And I was like, I
don't need to be a TV star to I guess
make myself feel good or whatever. I kind of wanted
to avoid potential toxic situations because who wants to film
with an X that you had a like tumultuous, like
(15:21):
crazy relationship back then. I definitely didn't want to enter
that house again doing that, right, So I was like,
take some time for myself, and that's basically.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
What I did, especially because like you have found like
a new piece and like you were finally like you
kind of said you were happy with the way life was.
You don't need to go and open that can of worms.
I feel like that's like the first step of healing
and like taking care of yourself is kind of blocking
that out.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Yeah, well, I've come a long way. I didn't want
to just enter. I done basically what you said, like
block that part out of my life, and I didn't
want to re enter it if I wasn't one hundred
percent sure with going through with.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
It, definitely okay.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
So then you you end up coming back on this
latest season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. What went into
that decision to change your mind? And like what was
Were you nervous coming back? I feel like I would
have been nervous.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Yeah, it was very nerve racking because I haven't really
spoken to anybody in like the longest time. I was like,
I don't know if I'm doing making the right decision
here by coming back. But I did miss everybody. I
did miss it. I would watch a show like here
and there. I didn't watch all the time, but I
would watch it and I would miss them. I would laugh,
(16:39):
and I'm like, you know what, I'm good in all
aspects of my life right now with my career, I
opened up a boutique sweetheart close, Like, I have an
amazing relationship. Somebody I'm with is very supportive of everything
I do, which makes it easier to make that decision
to come back. I have a family that's loving and
supporting with me. I'm like, you know what, I'm actually
doing pretty good? Can I not come back and see
(17:01):
what it's like and see if I can rekindle some
friendships with some people?
Speaker 1 (17:05):
And how was that rekindling? Was it?
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Did anyone kind of was it rocky with anyone? Was
it hard to kind of open that door again with
different relationships?
Speaker 3 (17:16):
It was so nerve wracking walking into that house.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
But literally as you saw it on the shelf Jersey
Shore Family Vacation is how it basically went down.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Yeah, But like my armpits were sweating. I was sweating.
I was so nervous.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
I was like dying in the car ride there because
I haven't talked to anybody. I haven't spoken to anybody
in like a really long time, So I was nervous.
And of course you don't know if the if the
girls are mad at me for not going on the show,
and then I hear some things in the press and
I'm just like, why are they.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Talking about me like that?
Speaker 4 (17:45):
So of course there was like unanswered questions, but I
think as soon as I entered the house, we addressed it,
and it was kind of like a weight was lifted
off both our shoulders, like off the people in the
house and off of me, and it was kind of
like we were able to now re kindle.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
Our friendships that we missed out on for so.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Many years, right And it's I think too like the
miscommunication of like not being able to like speak directly
to people and then just hearing it, like you know,
the great vine that always misconstrues information and then it
always ends up being like, well you said this, and
someone's like, no, this was taken completely out of context.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
Exactly, Like there was definitely miscommunication and we trussed it.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
You definitely dressed it, And I'm happy where we're at
right now.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Yes, very I mean, I think all all signs are
pointing to the fact that, like you guys were able
to kind of rekindle that quickly, which I think is
the truest, Like show of a really good friendship that
you can just pick right back up where you left off.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
Oh right, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
So then you guys too, while you were filming what
hasn't debuted yet of season seven, right of Jersey Shore
Family Vacation, you came to the Jets game for that.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
Yeah, so we're currently filming right now for that, and
we went to the Jets game, which was so much fun.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Honestly, we had the best day ever.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yeah, Okay, it was like a little rainy, and I
know it was week three and we had a lost
that game. But you guys like brought the whole camera crew,
all of you came out, you were sideline pregame. Like,
what was that whole experience like, especially for you because
you're a Jets fan your whole life?
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Oh my god. I know.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
I have been a Jets fan since I was little
because my dad was a huge Jets fan and he
is three girls, so I feel like I was like
his like tomboy of the family.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
So I always watched the Jets games with him.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
We had all Jets memorabilia all over our house, so
I was like, this was kind of a very.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Surreal experience to be on the field.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
To see all the players warm up before the game
and practice and to just be in that environment was
such a surreal experience for me.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
I'm like, oh my god, this is so cool. I
remember calling my dad as we were filming, like I'm
here at the Jets game right now and I'm on
the field, and it was just like it was so cool.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Was he so jealous?
Speaker 3 (19:55):
And we brought the pyramids like you.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Said, so, we literally filmed. Hopefully it's on the season.
We never know what's on or not, but like we filmed,
it was raining. It was like not the best weatherwise,
but also it made it that much more fun, Like we're.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
At the game and our ponchos. It was fun.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
It was really funny and a good experience, an amazing
experience for all.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah, I think, honestly, there's something to a rain game.
Like obviously, as a fan, it's a little less enjoyable
because you don't have the adrenaline that the players do
and you're just kind of like a wet duck sitting there.
But it makes the environment like more fun and everyone's
just kind of like rolling with the punches and it's
it makes me get life very exciting.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
It did like nobody cared that it was raining.
Speaker 4 (20:42):
Everybody was still like all the fans are still screaming
in their seats, like we all were still very involved
in the game, like it didn't even matter that it
was raining.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Right of course not.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
So what what have you thought of the team this season?
I know, there was like a ton of highs and
lows between hard knocks coming and then getting all that
fun attention and then Aaron Rodgers tearing his achilles and
just like what a crazy season. And it's only we're
approaching week eight now, but we've played six games.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
I know. You know what, I just have a lot
of faith in the Jets this season.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
I just feel like every game they're surprising me, and
I have more and more faith, Like, you know, after
they just played against the Eagles, I'm like, oh.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
My god, like this is amazing.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
So I feel like if Zach Wilson continues to make
plays and get the ball down the field, I just
see like the Jets succeeding and doing very well this season,
And I'm excited for that because it's been a few years,
I know, and like I'm excited to see the Jets improved.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
I know, I feel like that is the sentiment from
all fans of like, Okay, we wanted to be three
and three at the bye, and here we are three
and three at the bye, and so it's like, okay,
it's anybody's ball game the second half of the season.
So it's like, can can we just continue to each
day get better? Just day by day, day by day?
Speaker 1 (21:56):
So it's going to be.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Exciting watch their improvement, like every week is very exciting,
and it's exciting to see them win. Like it's really
exciting for a Jets fan to see them win, and
especially with all the timphs that they have gone through.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
Exactly, it makes a story that much better. Yes, yes, exactly. Okay,
so I'm gonna put you on Hendy's hot seat.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Now.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
This is a new segment that we've been implementing and
it's a fun way just to get to know our guest.
Three quick questions, some Jersey shore, some not. First one
is who is your favorite player on the Jets.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
I love Breese Hall.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Yes, that's such a good one. It's such a good one.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
He is so good. I love him.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
And do you like him because of his personality more
or because of just like the insane running back that
he is.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
I just love him for the insane running back that
he is.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
He makes place, he gets the ball, he moves down
the field like, I love him.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
I think he's a great player.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Yeah, and he's he's also such a great human too,
so it kind of just makes makes it even better
that he's such a good dude on and off the field. Okay,
next for you, You have filmed Jersey Shore in Jersey, Miami,
and Italy. Which was your favorite location for that season?
Speaker 3 (23:10):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (23:12):
I have to say Jersey, just because I love being
in Jersey, like.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Being our house was right on the boardwalk.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
And the seaside and that whole atmosphere of being there
in the summer on the boardwalk and it's just like
it's so much fun with all the bars and the
clubs and you're hanging out with your friends and you're
in the beach atmosphere.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Like I love being in Jersey.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Yeah, that boardwalk in Seaside. I grew up going to
Seaside when I was younger, and that boardwalk is I
feel like it's so ingrained in my mind because like
we would ride our bikes on that boardwalk.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Then you you go to Seaside, heights and there's the.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Amusement park at the end, and it's just like so
ingrained and it's yeah, it's I.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
Like have the spells of the boardwalk in my.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Breas, yes, seriously, And it's like I can picture the
amusement park at the end of the boardwalk and us
being on the beach being like, oh, I wonder.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
If we'll get to go to the amusement park tonight
or whatever.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
Yeah, it's right next to it.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
So it's like such a cool experience to be on
the boardwalk and like live there.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
It was really and that's where the show started. So
I'm sure it's like a special place in your.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Heart, an iconic memory.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Please for one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Okay, last one, If you had to change anything on
Jersey Shore, what would it be?
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Oh leiss.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Too long?
Speaker 3 (24:32):
If I could change anything, I'm sure you guys all
know that question. There's a lot. But also then I'm like, wait, I.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't go
through and learn lessons with things on the show.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
So I don't know if I change I mean.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Of course it would change dating one person. That's like
I'm just going to throw that out there. Of course
I would change, but I also feel like I am
where I am today and I learned a lot of
lessons and I kind of grew up and made myself
little bit stronger by going through some of the bad things.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
So I don't think I changed.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
That much one hundred percent. And it like it made
you who you are and so many people love you
because of that, so I think it makes it even better.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Oh that makes me feel good.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Thank you well, Sammy, Thank you so much for joining.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Sure, it's called Sweetheart Coast and it's in Ocean City,
New Jersey, right on the boardwalk.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Perfect like walk Girl, so even better.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
So if you haven't checked that out, you have to
go check that out as well. But Sammy, thanks so
much for jumping on. We really appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
