Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to jet Stream. I'm Jenny Kochley alongside, like always,
my co host Jet Legend. He's in the Jet Ring
of Honor. Won the Walter Payton Man of the Year.
Like I say every week, one of my favorite guys,
it's Marty Lyons. Marty, are you ready to talk about
week two in the Bills?
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Well, I'm ready to go, but I think we got
to talk about week one and once the Jets went
out there and did they threw thirty two points up
there and I can't remember the last time they scored
that many points, and they really did look good. And
you got to give Pittsburgh credit. You know, they took
it right down to the wire and a sixty yard
field goal a tough way to lose the game, but
(00:38):
I think for AG it's a good way to start.
And the fans can have nothing. But you know, the
arrow's pointing up and Marty, how.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
About you and I talk because again, like AG said, listen,
there's no more victories but for a fan, and what
you got to see, how exciting was that game?
Speaker 3 (00:56):
The way that offense.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Played, well, you know, to see the offense run the
ball the way they did close to two hundred yards
only give up one sack. That's key. You know, you
had seven penalties, which that kind of hurt the team.
And then you flip it to what the defense did.
They came up with four sacks, you know, and unfortunately
they gave up four passing touchdowns to Aaron Rodgers. But
(01:19):
there's a lot that you can look at and say, hey,
you know what, let's let's go down in d scope
the first week. You're going to talk to about all
the positives first rather than the negatives. The negatives is, yeah,
there are no moral victories in the NFL, but the
way you played, the way you performed, you can see
that the culture over there is changing.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
I was gonna say what pressure the most about this offense.
We'll talk about the offense first.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
I think the offense running the ball, you know for
almost two hundred yards. You know, you got Breis Hall
in there, and he pounded the ball in there. And
I think that Justin Fields did a great job when
he had to. He scrambled, when he had to make
a potion, he did. But the big thing is that
offensive line. You think about losing Elijah Varah Tucker so
(02:08):
late in the week, and then you start plugging people in,
and I thought that they did an outstanding job.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
And let's talk about AVT losing AVT. They moved Tipman over,
moved Josh Myers the center. You have a rookie Membo
playing his first NFL game going against t J.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Watt and Cam Heroin. How do you think he did, Membo?
Speaker 2 (02:29):
I think they did great. You know, there was a
little bit of pressure on Justin Fields, but you got
to remember to nay those defensive players. They get paid also,
and you're not going to have a perfect game. But
to only give up one sack, I don't know how
many pressure that they gave up, but I thought Justin
Fields adjusted well. I thought the game plan was well executed.
(02:53):
You know, you go back and forth, back and forth
scoring and then unfortunately you have that kick return that
turned into a fumble which gave Pittsburgh fourteen points in
a matter of fifty seconds. But then you responded, you
went right down the field and you scored again. So
I think that the offense has to have a great
(03:14):
deal of confidence. And you know, getting ready to play Buffalo,
you look back for the last six years, y're two
and ten against the Buffalo Bills, and I think if
you go back seven years, they haven't scored more than
twenty points in regulation. They went over twenty points one time,
and that was in overtime. So they're going to have
(03:35):
to put some points up on the board if they
want to beat Buffalo.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
And now, Marty, did you happen to watch the Buffalo
Ravens game.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I did. I watched every bit of it. And again
you've got Derrick Henry. He's running through those holes like
a mack truck. And what happens late in the fourth quarter,
you're down by fifteen, and you and Derrick Henry fumble,
You go down and score. But that's the mentality of
Josh Allen. He doesn't care how many points you're behind.
(04:04):
He believes enough in himself. He's over there telling those
defensive guys, just get me the ball one more time,
one more time, I'll do it. And then to be
able to go down the field and put yourself in
a position where you can kick a field goal to win.
Buffalo is going to come in here feeling pretty good
(04:24):
about themselves. And remember Buffalo, they travel well too, so
they're going to have quite a few fans up there
at met Life.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
But when you look at Josh Allen and his stats
against the Jets, the Jets have kind of given them
a hard time at times.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Well, they got to give them a hard time. They
got to put pressure on them and they got to
contain them. That's the biggest thing. You've got to make
sure that your edge rushers can get up the field.
And when you got Will McDonald, he's going to probably
use that spin move again. You've got to make sure
when you spin inside you get the quarterback because you're
(05:00):
that outside containment that if you don't get them, Josh
Allen is gonna run. He's gonna pick up some positive yards.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
What did you see from Sasgardener? Because he got to
travel with DK Mechcals. Now he's going up against his
Bills team in Josh Allen. How do you think Sastgarter
plays a key part to his defense?
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Now that I think number one his leadership. I think
that he's out there playing hard whatever he needs to
do to help the defense be successful. I think, you know,
saus is that type of player. You look at the
Jets defense, four sacks a lot of pressure on Aaron Rodgers,
(05:39):
you know, and Aaron's a smart, smart quarterback. You know,
you got to give him credit. He threw four touchdown
passes and they come away with a victory, a victory
that maybe you shouldn't have had, but you did get
and that's the only thing that counts. You know, at
the end of the year, how many w's do you
have and how many l's do you have?
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Talk about when you were a player, talk about this
Jets build rivalry.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Oh, it was a heck of a rival because you know,
we had Jim Kelly that we had to go up against.
And you know, you're talking about a team that went
to four straight Super Bowls. Unfortunately they didn't win any.
But I'd like to be one of those players that
said I went to four Super Bowls, but I didn't
win any.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Ye never been done before and I haven't done since.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Would you look at the talent they had Thrman Thomas
and Andre Reid, and you had Bruce Smith on one
side they were and Cornelius Bennett. They were loaded with talent.
But I think it all starts with the mentality of
the quarterback. Jim Kelly had that mentality of a linebacker.
(06:48):
He could play any position. He controlled that whole team
and as Jim would go out there and play the
team just followed.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
What was one of your favorite Buffalo Jets games that
you played.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
In, Oh, I guess that one where you know, Jim
Kelly and I got into it a little bit. You know,
it's still kind of famous now, Janeta. Yeah, giving them
the business that was That was a moment that I
always talked to Jim about and we kind of laugh
about it now. And I think you could see the
(07:24):
sign of respect that we both had for one another
at the end, because he came over and gave me
a little pat on the ass. I patted him on
the helmet, you know. Of course he came through my
face masks. You could see that I was bleeding, and
I wasn't bleeding that bad. But it was competition between
the lines, and when the competition was over, you know,
(07:46):
you shake hands and you have this respect for one
another that years after the fact that you can say
to yourself, hey, you know what, he was a hell
of a player, and hopefully he thinks the same about me.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Maybe people find out shortly.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
I don't know, we'll see, you know, yeah, high Mark,
what was it like playing in that stadium with those
bills fans, and then when the Bills came to it
must have been Shae Stadium.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Obviously.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
What was that like, Well, you know, you can go
back to when we lost to them in the wild
card game. We fumbled the opening kickoff and they went
down and scored, and you know, before you knew it,
I think we were twelve seconds into the game and
we're down seven to nothing, and Richard Todd came all
the way back. We came back. We drove the field,
(08:34):
drove down the ball, down the field and you could
look at the far end zone where they have those
temporary bleachers, and the whole stadium was just rocket And unfortunately,
you know, Richard had an interception that ended the game,
and you know, we got that little that ended our
(08:56):
season two. But Shae Stadium was great. The fans were
great there, and the Jets are fortunate that a lot
of the fans that were attending the games at Chase
Stadium went over to the Giants Stadium and now they're
still over at met Life and being the ambassador, I
get to meet those fans last week, all the way
up into three hundred sections. Those were the loyal fans,
(09:20):
and you know, some have been fortunate enough to go
from the three hundred section all the way down to
two hundred, and some are even in the suites now,
which you have a chance to meet and think and
get an opportunity to sit there and talk about old
times and that I can remember when and I can.
(09:42):
It's great to interact with the fans.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
I was gonna say, what's some of the What's one
of the most common questions you get from these fans?
Speaker 2 (09:51):
I think I think the most common question is what
was it like to play with? And what was it
like to play with Mark Astall? What was like to
play with Joe Kleckel. What type of guy was you know?
Greg Buddle? And you can tell them.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
I want to answer that one.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
But what you know, I remember, you know defense coordinators
they would yeah, they would signal win and Greg would
change the defense. He was a heck of the linebacker.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Well, Marty, you know how we always have a guest
each week, and I said that we were talking about
this guy and maybe if you'd ask Jim Kelly Hell
his thoughts are with you. How about we bring in
our special guests for today?
Speaker 3 (10:37):
How does that sound?
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Oh? That's great? You know what I hope it's Jim Kelly.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
We'll see.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
We have a guy that knows all about the Jets
Bills rivalry, a hall of fame quarterback who led his
team to four Super Bowls, and, as Marty said earlier,
a guy he likes to give his business to welcome.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Jim so excited you're here.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
After that had to come up in a conversation today
with Marty.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Oh boy, Okay, well Jim, let's get down the business.
How's your grandson Dylan.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
He's doing well. You know what I've learned over the
years that.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
There's only one person that look at when you need,
you know, something positive to have, and that's a good
Lord above. And I know that through all my you know,
bosts with cancer. I remember being not real happy with
my wife when she was disclosed it and letting everybody
know because she said, we need as many prayers as possible. Well,
(11:39):
when my wife and daughter decided to do that with
my grandson, bo I get it. I understand it now.
And now he's doing well. I mean he was, he
was balloting there for for a little while and but
he's at the hospital now, he's home. We just celebrate
his second month of his birthday birthday, and uh, you know,
(12:02):
thank God he's doing well.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Try give him a lot of thoughts and prayers went
into it when you had cancer, and it's great to
see that you battled through it too. I think you're
a great example for all those people that do have cancer.
I know a friend of mine. I introduced you to
him down there at the Joe Nama tournament and I
was grateful that you took time to talk to him.
(12:25):
And he's beaten cancer now three times.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
Yes, it's not an easy, uh cancer to beat. But
you know what, Marty, I've been very blessed. I'm still here.
My motto is I might have lost four Super Bowls,
but I kicked cancers.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
But yeah, so I go out.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
I don't have to do it five.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Yeah, that's great. And you know what, Jim, it's still
great to be remembered as somebody that gave you the business.
How don't we even know how it happened? But take
me through your side of it on that on that play.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
What happened you mean as far as my cancer?
Speaker 2 (13:05):
No, no, I mean as far as giving you the
business that day and the read you know, yeah, that
was that was very interesting.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
I don't know how it all worked up to get
to that point, but I remember you hitting me, and
I think I shed some words for you about getting
off me.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
You did that won't say today you did.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
And then you just started, I mean, would start having
that back to back and I said, I did just
die offing man.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
His breast smelt.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
You know what. I remember, Jim, that we were talking
that you used to tell me that you used to
keep your fingernail longer on your index finger, and when
you were saying that it's nasty things to me, you
brought that index finger right through. Luckily you didn't poke
me in the eye. You just ripped the side of
my face and I still have what I still have them.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
When you were doing all the diffing of the business
down there, I try to drive you by your face
mask to try to, you know, hold myself to be
able to roll one way or the other. And when
I drabbed your face mask my hand, my finger went
through and I got you. Trust me, bro, There's no
way that I knew that I would hurt you. I
you know, did my little finger up there. But it
(14:18):
ended up pretty good for me because I ended up
on top. Because everybody decides they're going to pole in
both sides, your side, my side, and somehow I rolled
over and I was on top of you, and uh,
but from that point on we respected each other. And
I know from that point on also, I knew that
(14:39):
every time that when you would play the New York Jets,
we were in for a battle, because I remember, uh,
you know, watching film of View and Gas, you know,
and of course Cleect going that you know that kilt
over the center, and I knew every game it was
going to come down to a battle between us. But uh,
the respect factor was always there, There's no doubt about it.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
Yeah, I got to jump in real quick. Jim, what
do you remember about Marty Lyons as a player.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Never ever stopped.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
He was one of those players that when you were
going to play against him, you better be ready for
a full sixty minutes because you're in for a battle.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
And we just when we watch film number one.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
As a quarterback, you always looked at the defensive line,
where they lined up, what position, third down, what they're
going to be doing. So I always looked not just Marty,
which was a great, unbelievable player, but like where.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
Joe was at in Gas no, and I know the New.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
York sack exchange, but that defense was with a doubt
led by number ninety three.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Hey, Jim, how about the performance of Josh Allen against
the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night the comebow?
Speaker 5 (15:58):
Well, Marty, to be on with you, I was one
of those guys that left.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
But the only reason I left because I usually will
stay almost till the end. But number one, it was
a night, Ken and it was already, you know, after
eleven o'clock, and I had two gentlemen that I brought
to the game, and I'm not gonna say it was,
but they were pushing your eighties. And I knew once
(16:24):
when we left the parking lot and it was going
to take a while anyways, that by Tom we got
to my house where they drove to. They had another
forty five minute drive home, so they weren't going to
get home till about one thirty two o'clock because of
the traffic. So I left the lowering. But to be
honest with you, by Tom we got out of the
parking lot, the Bills had the ball and they're going
(16:47):
down and getting ready to kick field goal.
Speaker 5 (16:48):
When they kicked it, when you won.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
You would not believe how many horns were being paid
for stream and yelling. For me, it was great because
I got to listen to it on the radio leaving
the parking lot.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
All right, all right, Jim, I have to ask what's
your favorite Jets bill's memory from when you played?
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Oh boy, I remember when we I think it was
Monday night when we played the Jets. Therman Thomas ran
for over two hundred and some yards and we beat
up on him pretty good.
Speaker 5 (17:18):
And I think that's when a.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
Big fire started up in the stands and never going
crazy and one of the things that I always knew
and one of the reasons I quit following thirty four
on our team, Therman Thomas around, because when people would
stream and yell stuff at you, if you let them
know that you can hear them, then you're done for today.
(17:43):
Everywhere you're gonna yell and stream and everything. So every
time I was on Therman, he would.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
Turn around start yelling back.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
I know, okay, I need I don't need to be
having Jets fans all of a sudden start yelling, streaming,
then start throwing stuff.
Speaker 5 (17:56):
So uh, but I.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Always knew going on and playing against the Jets, and
your fans were crazy wild, pretty much almost likes of
Buffalo Bill Famers.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
I was just gonna, yeah, well, Jim, I'm gonna make
you promise. I'm gonna come up here and play in
your tournament. And what do you do with your foundation
and how much you give back to the community. It
means a great deal to me. Soon as I can
get my shoulder fixed, I'm coming up there.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
I love it. I love it. As a matter of fact,
I will see you.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
I don't know whether you're going to Joe's tournament here
next month, but I will be there off.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Okay, I'll see you then. And we do appreciate your time, Jim,
and our thoughts of prayers are with you and your
family and uh and fun.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
And have fun being a granddad.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
I can't wait to talk because my son in law
played baseball and I was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers
and he's a big boy six sixth to sixteen.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
He's going to.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
Teach Mantle throw baseball and I'm gonna teach him at
throw football.
Speaker 5 (18:59):
Right, wait till that date.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
When that happens, you're not going to put a golf
club in his hand. Uh.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
Maybe early but you know, I'm I'm a football guy.
I love golf. I'm not very good.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
I play to have fun and uh but number one
with with that doubt would be the part of the
sports of baseball and football.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Are you making the trip down here this Sunday, Jim?
Speaker 4 (19:23):
Uh No, I'm I'm coming, but I'm not coming for
the game.
Speaker 5 (19:27):
I am going down and unfortunate.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
Well it's good, all good, but I have to go
down and see my doctor that did all my surgeries,
and I have to have my MRI, my yearly MRI
to make sure the cancer has not come back.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Jim, you know that.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Wait before we get out of here, what do you
think about the game Sunday? Your thoughts real quick?
Speaker 4 (19:47):
You know, way is so early in the season. I
know what the builder capable of. What do you have
to get better? As far as defensially on the run,
I really don't know much a lot about the Jets,
but will learn.
Speaker 5 (19:59):
A lot more before where we played the next time.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
But as far as this time, I have not watched film.
I don't even know much about him, but I know
that they're in for a battle. They're playing Josh Allen.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
All right, we appreciate you so much, Jim.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
Keep doing great things, raising awareness, raising money for cancer,
and have so much fun with your grandson.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
Yeah, I appreciate you all. You take care of God.
Bless y'all.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
And hey, the last thing I got to say is
left go Buffalo.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Thank you. Yeah, you got to love them man. You know,
you talk about a competitor. You know, the same type
of energy that he had on the football field today,
that's the type of energy he took in with his
battle for cancer. And you know it is struggling. Everybody
has their good days their bad days. And you think
(20:49):
about every adversity that Jim Kelly has gone through with
his son Hunter passing away and now Bo his grandson.
Just you take your hat off.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
Yeah, and he's optimistic and positive and.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Oh what an incredible individual.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
You know, Pinky finger hurt you, you little index index?
Speaker 2 (21:12):
You what if he had gotten me in the eye?
Speaker 3 (21:16):
Jay, he did, he knew it. You know what you're
giving people the business then you know what?
Speaker 2 (21:23):
You know, he made a good point that when I
was on top of him, he had I don't know
how many his offensive line came guys came off the
bench because they they're fighters, they protect their quarterback. The
only thing guy that I can remember being out there.
I had quite a few, but as long as seventy
(21:44):
three was out there with me, I was okay, okay.
Joe would Joe just started calling people around and he'd
looked at me and he'd go, I'm not even going
to ask what happened? I go, oh, you know, he said,
he said some ugly things to me, Joe.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
All right, before we get out of here, we have
some fan questions.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
All right, here we go, Yes, questions from the fans.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Here we go.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Mike from New York.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Aaron Glenn talks about building a culture and identity. What
was the Jets identity in the eighties when you played?
Speaker 2 (22:16):
I think we were tough. We were more of a
you know, a blue collar team. You know, take a
brown paper bag to lunch. We didn't have lunch pails,
and we tried to play for sixty minutes. Sometimes it
was good enough, sometimes it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
All right. This is how about Joe from Jersey?
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (22:36):
I like this one. Actually.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
If the Sack Exchange played in the NFL today, how
do you think they do?
Speaker 2 (22:43):
I think we would do as well as we did
back then.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
You know, Yeah, about you couldn't touch the quarterback now
the way you could touch them back then.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
Right.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Well, that's not saying that there wouldn't be a few
more flags coming out, you would always think. But I
think that that's a hard, hard thing to comparison, like
comparing a quarterback that played in the in the seventies.
How would Joe Montana do now? How would Terry Brads
(23:11):
do now? It's hard to compare. But you look at
the Jets this year, starting off the first game with
four sacks. If you can do that for seventeen games,
guess what, you have a new record at sixty eight.
We had sixty six.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
I mean, you look at this d line now, Will McDonald, quinnon,
Jermaine Phillips.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
And the thing about it is today they rotate, so
they're always going to have fresh bodies in there. We
didn't do that. If you were good enough for first
down and then you played second, then you were played
third down. You were good enough for short yardage, you
were good enough for gold line. We never came out
of the game, you know, every now and then they
were substitute, but not on a pitch count like they're
(23:55):
doing today.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
We got Kira from Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
Best player you ever played against and the best player
ever played with?
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Well, the best player I played with was Joe Clucker.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Yeah, I was gonna say, I'm hanging up this podcast.
We're never doing it again if you don't say Joe Clucker.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
No, Joe Clucker, without a doubt, not just because he
was a friend of mine, the way he approached the game,
the way he played the game. Best player I ever
played against. I said it last week. I'll stay with
you know, John Hannah up there in New England.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
All right, I will do one more. Marie from New Jersey.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
What current or past player, past Jet player remind you
most of yourself?
Speaker 2 (24:41):
You know what I want to go with quinnin Williams.
You know Number one, he came out of Alabama, so
did I. Number two. I think fundamentally he is sound
plus number three. He has to do the dirty work.
You're down inside. You know you're gonna get hit for
double team every single play. So I got like quinnin
(25:04):
mat fact, when he got drafted, he had no He
wore number ninety two in college, and at that time
when he got drafted by the Jets, number ninety two
was Leonard Williams. Yep. So, I had met Quinnin at
a fundraiser and I told him, I said, Quentin, I
would be honored if you know you're not going to
(25:25):
get ninety two. I would be honored if you take
number ninety three. And he looked at me and said,
now I can't take it. He goes, I got to
get my own number and earn my own respect with
that number.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Oh wow, I really really like that.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Yeah, it took me by surprise.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
But you know what, that's something you would have said, Yeah,
probably you would have someone you would have done the
same thing.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Yeah, come down of Alabama. You know you have That's
the one thing that they teach you down there is
you know, being behind.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
How was Alabama? How they do they bounce back and
pay attention?
Speaker 2 (26:02):
They bounce back against University of Louisiana Monroe.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
I think they better bounce back.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Seventy three to nothing. I turned the game off at
halftime because the the you know, NC double a college
football tonay is getting where. You know, there's got to
be a certain amount of respect. You know, you've got
teams that are coming in there that you should beat
up pretty good. But at some point where's the sportsmanship?
(26:34):
You know you again? You got Ohio State playing Gramlin.
They threw up seventy Alabama throws up seventy three. At
some point if you continue to throw up those points
playing freshman great, running the ball great. But I think
the NC double a now with trying to get into
the playoffs, they want to see teams that if you
(26:57):
do have a one loss, how many points were you
throw up? This week? Big game in the SEC is
Georgia going to Tennessee. Should be a good one, but
it won't be as good as the one that met life.
When the Jets take on Buffalo. And for all you
Jet fans that listen to Jenay and I, get there early,
(27:18):
get there in the parking lot and get in the
stadium and make some noise.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
I like to know you're going to be there.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
I am going to be there.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
No You said you were going to find me last time,
but you're too busy shaking hands. Get some babies all
over the stadium. You can find Marty Lions.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
I was up in the three hundreds.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
I know where am I going to find you this week?
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Well? I don't know. I haven't gotten the itinerary. But
I'll find you down there on the field.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
Okay, come on down. Hey, what a great show, Marty.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
It was. Jim Kelly, is you know what? Like I said, Well,
you can go to battle every week and in between
the lines, I think you have to respect everybody out
there as a football player. But when you cross over
the line, you know what, there's a friendship that you
can also build. And I'm happy to say I have
(28:05):
a friendship with Jim Kelly.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
Can't wait to see who we have next week as
a guest.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Well, it should be interesting. We're heading We're heading south.
Make sure you put your son'screen on.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Oh I like it all right, guys.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Hey, we will see you at Mettlife Stadium Jets Build
one pm.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
Be in the seats, like Marty said, and we will
see you next week for another edition of jet Stream.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
You've got it to nay. Bye bye
