And then Derek Carr like fumbled the ball out of

good to see these guys man win the game and
winning a dominant fashion and go in the room and

just see just you know, they were, you know, obviously
happy for themselves. They talked about playing for the standard,
what Marshawn would want and this way. Man, it was
just truly it was just one of those times in
twenty seven years of coming to Cowboys and I was like,
you know what, man, thank goodness that they won, won
in the fashion they did and they were able to you.

Shout out to the Raiders for being classy enough to
do something and remembers of mars of Latimer.

The league, al Davis was the one who really wrapped
his arms around him, and he learned a lot from
Al and the Maverick that Al was, Jerry became. So
I was like they passed that mantle to each other,

battles with with Al had it with Jerry over to
Phil Knight and Pepsi.

Then when Mark Davis could not guilt get the stadium
built in Oakland, he ended up going to Vegas. Ironically,
he was working with the Atolson's Sheldon Aedelson, who's passed away.
His family now owns the Mavericks and the stadium deal
fell apart. Who rescues the stadium deal for Mark Davis

Old Jered Jerry gets him with Bank of America. They
get the stadium built and then of course legends is
you know you're drinking a beer drinking water is Jerry's company,
Jerry Jerry, Jerry, Jerry left for something so you so, yes,

the food, the beck the name of all that legends
was was right there. So one of the many stages
is Jerry's. Jerry's a part of some but they put
on a great show. This They've got some seats down there.

when we went in there, it was like, Yo, you
were distracted. You're trying to watch the game, but the
whole time you're just sitting here looking up at the
at the jump front. But then you realize behind you

you got the bars that you could see and everybody
in the Cowboys club to where when AT and T
first opened up, you were coaches used to tell us
when they made our game plan, don't be distracted by
the lights, stop paying attention, lock in. But you couldn't
help see that. So I wonder is it like that
for the Raidership?

So because and I'm my guilty things, I've been in
Jerry World so many times.

It's always at an angle when I see it on
the story, So I was wondering, like, how does that

It's first class. I mean, bottom line is it's first class.

They took everything that's great about Jerry World and the
other status and they put it in there in Las

I was gonna go see the hockey game there with
the Golden Knights because I hear the show they put
on there right before they dropped the puck. It's the
same thing. That is it is. It is that kind
of deal which overall, man, that's what you have to

going to the shows. Even the restaurants. Man, there's so
much competition for your dollar. You gotta be good and
you gotta have an experience. It's Vegas. It's got to
be next level.

who can run the ball right now. But then, not

let them pining back their ears all day and just
rush the passer.

that ball. He's gonna have to be some bully ball

what's gonna be the X factor and how they win this,

to the people on the backside. That's what we need,
you know, because Aj Brown, they can say what they
want to say about him. He's been complaining, he's been that.
But like we always talked about, the Cowboys were giving
an opportunity to have a breakout game, you know what
I'm saying. So you know, we hope that with that
pass rush and what they're able to do up front,
that Like I said, the parlays into some to some

victories on the backside for the DB's stay there.

Because talking about the interior, when that when you go
back and you look at the first game, it wasn't
Saquent Barkley so much, it was Jalen Hurts the running back.
How does a good defensive line in the interior that
they have now, how does that affect what you see
out a guy like Jalen Hurts being able to run
the ball.
Speaker 5 (43:18):
Well, I think where it's going to affect it is
one he's shorter quarterback, Like make him stay in the
pocket like you sitting there, you got beat on the edge.
And the one thing right now, with that interior pressure,
we've been getting guys humming off the edge. But now
with that interior pressure, every time that we've seen our
scrambling quarterbacks, very few of them really took the wide
route and went around the tackle. They were always stepping
(43:40):
up in the pocket, escaping through that big gap. Well,
now that you got those two big juggernauts, he's going
to have to take a wider set. And I'm confident
with the way that James Houston has been playing the
young guy. But shoot, Clowney. The way that he's doing,
he's looking like the old Clowney that's chasing stuff down
from the back end. I'm not as too worried about that,
and I just want to see. Like I said, it's
(44:01):
also when he comes off the bench, if he's gonna
still be fresh energy and it's no drop off right there.
And if they can do that, I think they're gonna
be able to keep him in the pocket. He's gonna
be too short, and then that touch push is not
gonna it ain't gonna be as effective with those big
guys in there firing shooting downhill. And then with your
linebacker play. You got Overshawan who is a heat seeking missile.
You got Logan who is being the general out there
(44:23):
and really like telegraphing the play before it's gone, Oh
this is where it's gonna go. So I'm I'm actually optimistic.
So when you said a little bit of help, I
thought it was a lot of bit of help. But
I don't know what do y'all What do y'all think?

Agree with you on that, especially with the defensive line
and the linebackers. I think you know that first matchup
you had Kenneth Murray out there, you had some of
the young guys, you know, Mary's Lee files and that,
And when you watch the tape of that game, it
was a lot of miss tackles, a lot of miss tackles,
man a lot of bad reads and they were out
of place a lot, And that's what it was, you know.
Plus with the rustlings, that's what allowed jayalen Hurst to
get busy out there, especially on third down on those scrambles.
(44:59):
But you got a guy like overshown sideline the sideline,
he's able to use that speed and kind of be
that spy on Hurts as well as a Logan Wilson
who's like I talked about the other day, the cerebral
guy understands down in distance, understands, you know, how the
offenses are going to try to take advantage of the defense.
I think they'll be able to be able to find
a way to box him in, and I don't think
he'll be as effective as he was in that first
game running the football. Now passing the football, it'll be
(45:21):
a little bit different. But I think they'll be able
to box him in and force him to use his
arm more than he did the first game.

built in Oakland, he ended up going to Vegas. Ironically,
he was working with the Atolson's Sheldon Aedelson, who's passed away.

fell apart. Who rescues the stadium deal for Mark Davis

Old Jered Jerry gets him with Bank of America. They
get the stadium built and then of course legends is
you know you're drinking a beer drinking water is Jerry's company,
Jerry Jerry, Jerry, Jerry left for something so you so, yes,

was was right there. So one of the many stages
is Jerry's. Jerry's a part of some but they put
on a great show. This They've got some seats down there.

they held Detroit who got a high powered offense. I
believe what nine points out there? And to make what

to seven game, they could come out on top with that.
The Rams went up on them, I think it was

like twenty one to seven and they marched all the
way back and beat them.

for Jailen Hurts, because if you don't, it's gonna be
hard for the Cowboys get a dub out there.

who can run the ball right now. But then, not
to mention, you know, like it's gonna have to be

the same thing on our side, because when Philly comes
in here with that d line that they got and
that you canna say that they got, you can't just
let them pining back their ears all day and just
rush the passer.

So you're gonna have to You're gonna have to run
that ball. He's gonna have to be some bully ball
in there.

And hopefully, you know what I'm saying, the Cowboys will
be able to maintain and and and come back and
it's as close as they were last time, you know,

or make it a more competitive game too.

We want the Cowboys to build off of that momentum.

off offensive linement in my opinion, coming in. So it's

please guys do what y'all do and demand that double team,

what's gonna be the X factor and how they win this,

the opportunities that the Cowboys have, especially with Laying being
hurt because now, just like you said, I'm rotating ends

gonna keep rotating that thing, you know, and and hopefully,

like like you know, with that pass rush, it parlays
to the people on the backside. That's what we need,
you know, because Aj Brown, they can say what they
want to say about him. He's been complaining, he's been that.
But like we always talked about, the Cowboys were giving
an opportunity to have a breakout game, you know what
I'm saying. So you know, we hope that with that
pass rush and what they're able to do up front,
that Like I said, the parlays into some to some

victories on the backside for the DB's stay there.

Because talking about the interior, when that when you go
back and you look at the first game, it wasn't
Saquent Barkley so much, it was Jalen Hurts the running back.
How does a good defensive line in the interior that
they have now, how does that affect what you see
out a guy like Jalen Hurts being able to run
the ball.
Speaker 5 (43:18):
Well, I think where it's going to affect it is
one he's shorter quarterback, Like make him stay in the
pocket like you sitting there, you got beat on the edge.
And the one thing right now, with that interior pressure,
we've been getting guys humming off the edge. But now
with that interior pressure, every time that we've seen our
scrambling quarterbacks, very few of them really took the wide
route and went around the tackle. They were always stepping
(43:40):
up in the pocket, escaping through that big gap. Well,
now that you got those two big juggernauts, he's going
to have to take a wider set. And I'm confident
with the way that James Houston has been playing the
young guy. But shoot, Clowney. The way that he's doing,
he's looking like the old Clowney that's chasing stuff down
from the back end. I'm not as too worried about that,
and I just want to see. Like I said, it's
(44:01):
also when he comes off the bench, if he's gonna
still be fresh energy and it's no drop off right there.
And if they can do that, I think they're gonna
be able to keep him in the pocket. He's gonna
be too short, and then that touch push is not
gonna it ain't gonna be as effective with those big
guys in there firing shooting downhill. And then with your
linebacker play. You got Overshawan who is a heat seeking missile.
You got Logan who is being the general out there
(44:23):
and really like telegraphing the play before it's gone, Oh
this is where it's gonna go. So I'm I'm actually optimistic.
So when you said a little bit of help, I
thought it was a lot of bit of help. But
I don't know what do y'all What do y'all think?
As a DD like, I.

Agree with you on that, especially with the defensive line
and the linebackers. I think you know that first matchup
you had Kenneth Murray out there, you had some of
the young guys, you know, Mary's Lee files and that,
And when you watch the tape of that game, it
was a lot of miss tackles, a lot of miss tackles,
man a lot of bad reads and they were out
of place a lot, And that's what it was, you know.
Plus with the rustlings, that's what allowed jayalen Hurst to
get busy out there, especially on third down on those scrambles.
(44:59):
But you got a guy like overshown sideline the sideline,
he's able to use that speed and kind of be
that spy on Hurts as well as a Logan Wilson
who's like I talked about the other day, the cerebral
guy understands down in distance, understands, you know, how the
offenses are going to try to take advantage of the defense.
I think they'll be able to be able to find
a way to box him in, and I don't think
he'll be as effective as he was in that first
game running the football. Now passing the football, it'll be
(45:21):
a little bit different. But I think they'll be able
to box him in and force him to use his
arm more than he did the first game.

What would about you know, how do you how do
you limit Jalen Hurts because that was he was so
effective in the first game. And obviously you guys have
