Trey More came in last year.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Hey, I'm him with me and we we and all right,
the news man on the show.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
But yeah, Cowboy Royalty.

Speaker 7 (00:53):
Yeah yeah, so happy to be on Pittsburgh's home.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Yes sir, Yes, sir.

Speaker 6 (01:03):
I'm gonna have more Pittsburgh Brethern in here. And that's
what I'm doing, Like you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (01:08):
In struts, sixteen time Amy War winner, Grey y'all know, Yeah,
misster accolade, longest tenured back.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
We got practice going on right now. Practice You talking
about practice.

Speaker 8 (01:22):
We're talking about practice and it's not the you.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Know that's players.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Yeah, Okay, I didn't go out there to start, because
I'm like, nobody hitting them. I want to wait till
somebody started popped before I go on out there. So
so tell me what is day one like? At the
you go around the table here for for guys to
training care because the Cowboys kicked it off here at
the eleven forty five Pacific time they practice starting.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
For me, you know, the first I think it was
like the first two days out there.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
You know, you do the little conditioning test and you
make sure everybody still got the juice and still could
run a little bit, and they're in some type of
shape because it's with an avidce. There's nothing like football shape,
and you only get in football shape by actually playing
football and having the pads and all that stuff on.
So that's a whole different beast. But the first couple
of days you're doing that, you're going through the you
know logistics as Garrett used to call it back in

(02:13):
the day, making sure you know your weights on where
it needs to be, you're not overweight because they will
find you if you overweight, and making sure you're passing
all your physicals and stuff, getting your room situated and
all that, and then it's it's more of a glorified
OTA practice basically. I mean, you're in shorts, you got
helmets on. It's a little bit longer than OTA's but
you're just loosening up the legs, doing some individual some

(02:34):
backpedaling and all that good stuff. But it's once again,
the underwear Olympics for the first couple of days, and
then you get into the realness. You get to the
actual football, which is the next couple of days where
you got pads on, and those first couple of days
of pass cat.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Is like, oh yeah, it hit pop pop pop. Yeah,
let's go, let's go.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
And after a while it's like, man, we were hitting again.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Man, I'm tired of hitting this.

Speaker 6 (02:56):
And then that's that's when you start getting these scuffles.
But it's all part of cap man, it's all part
of camp man.

Speaker 9 (03:02):
Like you said, you hit everything from the nuanced mister
professional answer. But Noah, like you said, man, it just
depends these first few days. It depends off your old
head or a young guy. But no matter what, you
always come back with that juice going, like no matter
if it's just the conditioning test, because this is the
first real day like of you having the draft picks
in there. You got all the vets in there, your

(03:23):
big time vets. Were talking about the vets that got
the money to say, hey, I don't want to see y'all.
During the OTAs were talking about the vest that sit
at home with their family. Hey you get there now, like, hey,
you earned the right to do that. But this is
the first time that you seeing everybody. And you come
in there overjuice. You got the young guys that get
fresh out of bed and roll and run ten twenties

(03:43):
and be like, oh it's good. Then you got the
old head vest to get out there and they be
excited and run with the young guys and be like, oh,
hold on, coach, let me stretch over here, let me
get my vet days.

Speaker 8 (03:52):
And it's like hey, So.

Speaker 9 (03:55):
It's a wakening up moment to say, hey, I'm either
not as in shape or you know him there and
so you more so.

Speaker 8 (04:02):
Just really getting back around the guy and.

Speaker 6 (04:03):
You could tell who who's you know, the vets and
the young guys. When you do the condition and young
cast say you got ten seconds they rolling in their
six young eight nine. We just made it on each
and every rep. Young they flying up.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
And down and then that's a couple days of camp.
They sore my legs.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Good young.

Speaker 9 (04:25):
What's killer is when you got that one VET that's
smart and say, boy you showlins and shape. They hype
you up like yeah, coach, I'm ready. I'm in the
best ship. And then you get about week two they
started rolling in there, he started running past year and
you're like, hold on a little heavy, hell right. He's like, oh,
I thought you was in good shape. Better pace yourself
with say slow and steady wins right, no good?

Speaker 10 (04:48):
They don't know and and and that's it.

Speaker 11 (04:50):
You know we as a VET, of course, you know,
we all start off as rookies at one point time,
but as a VET, you already knowing it, like, okay,
we know how this camp gonna go.

Speaker 10 (04:59):
We already know who's gonna get camp legs.

Speaker 11 (05:00):
We are counting on the rookies hitting that wall shot
than later anyway, you know what I mean. But just
like what you said, it's the logistics thing. It's it's
getting in there. It's everybody seeing everybody for the first time,
you know what I mean. And then it's you got
your conditioning test like Church said. Then at the same
time you got it you got your meetings where now
you're getting the instructions of like where you gotta be

(05:22):
and like where this meeting room is, and if you're
on the campus somewhere else.

Speaker 10 (05:25):
You know what I'm saying, You got.

Speaker 11 (05:26):
To just get used to if you're taking golf carts,
if you walk in with the case is going to
be how you're getting around from place, from spot to
spot and everything else. Say that, but those first two days, man,
it is like, of course, like they said, if you
a VET, you coming in and you know, you're kind
of used to the situation.

Speaker 10 (05:43):
But as a rookie, your head is spinning.

Speaker 11 (05:45):
It's spinning, it's spinning. You're trying to figure out the
next thing to do. You got to make sure you're
going to be hydrated, especially being in Texas View or
like where well California for them. But at the same time,
you got to make sure that all these little things
are in place, and then hopefully you ain't starting off
camp with no kind of injury.

Speaker 9 (06:03):
Man, I don't want some problem now, hold on, hold on,
let's backtrack before you said an injury. Let's talk about
this because I've always wanted to address it because my
ten yere here was very short at the Cowboys. You know,
one year free agent guy, but you two big money guys.
That was one thing that he said. When you get there,
you're trying to figure out where the meeting room is,
You're trying to figure out if you got a golf
cart to drive.

Speaker 8 (06:24):
Let's speak on this for y'all.

Speaker 9 (06:26):
That don't know when you become the guy or you're
the guy, they're trying to save your legs at all costing.
You know, big money as Jerry does it. Hey, they
everybody does it. It's such an exceptional fashion. Those vets
have those carts. I'm pretty sure you had a cart.
I wro't Crawford shout out to my boy. He would
let me take his cart so we can drive together. Yes,
I was Uber before Uber, but I didn't have the heart.

(06:48):
So the fact that you're talking about, hey, I'm trying
to figure out where my cart is so I can park.

Speaker 8 (06:52):
And this o man you got on there.

Speaker 9 (06:54):
You you rented you a bike online, you bought it
off a Facebook marketplace or something like that, and you said, hey,
I'm trying to hoof it all the way across that
California parking line and it's different man.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
And the and the young boys.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Man, you know, I want to say this so money
that one and to don't let these these the vests
drag you out into the to the deep waters. Because
you'll see these vets and I was one of them,
they go get me. Soon as we laying, I'm gonna
get my rental car. I'm gonna have it for you know,
the entire camp. So when you know, we get little
breaks here and there, I'm like, slide to la. I'm
gonna be sliding over here. I don't like, what's that dinner,

(07:28):
I'm gonna go over to this spot and go eat somewhere.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Man, stay your butt on campus.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
Stay stay there, focus up on what you gotta focus
on and make sure you're making the squad. Don't get
drunk onto the deep Then talking about let me get
a rental car, let me go.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Hang out with the vest.

Speaker 8 (07:42):
They're gonna do that.

Speaker 10 (07:43):
Man, do.

Speaker 8 (07:45):
Let let you go back.

Speaker 9 (07:46):
I hope you can swim, swim, let's watch it the drown.
And I'm telling you the vets know their job is there.
So with these first few days, to get back to
the original question of what we were saying, like it
really is a wake up call, like you're getting in there,
you're doing football. Football is easy, but it's the stuff
that comes off the field in those first two days
or what's going to separate those people where you say, hey,

(08:07):
I know this is a good rookie when you don't
think those vets are paying attention, but they're sitting there.

Speaker 8 (08:11):
They're seeing who's showing.

Speaker 9 (08:12):
Up earlier, who's treating this like a job and not
treating this like football, to where they're going to say, hey, coach,
that's going to be the start of this year. We're
going to be depending on him. So in those first
two days, even though it's so relaxed, it's so much
stuff that's going on, and this is the opening point
to where all eyds are going to be on you.
VET to watching you. GM's are watching you, coaches are
watching you.

Speaker 8 (08:31):
And it's just the.

Speaker 9 (08:31):
Little nuances of like you said, are you getting in
a golf cart and realizing you a rookie and you
should be walking You're not a twelve year VET if
you're showing up and leaving off campus and thinking that
you're too good when your rookie class hasn't got paid yet,
but you're a higher picking. You're flaunting your money. All
this is a game, like you're playing the game within
the game the first two days.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
So Trey want to take this over to you. So
first practice today, Michael Parsons, he's there, He is there.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
What does it say and what are your thoughts about?

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Like a deciding to say, like Trey Hendrickson over there
Cincinnai Bengals.

Speaker 8 (09:07):
He say, I'm home at Florida, not coming mano. It's
two different ways, different strokes of different folks.

Speaker 9 (09:14):
The one thing I will say about Michael that speaks
volumes to him is him showing up.

Speaker 8 (09:19):
He wants to be here.

Speaker 9 (09:20):
We all know that when it comes time that you
getting paid and stuff like that, you have all the leverage.
Everything is in his court if he wants to. Michael
has done everything right. He has not got in trouble
off the field, no matter how you The biggest knock
you have on him is being doing the media thing
which he's speaking about football. He's talking about football, he's
learning about football, and he's showing that he wants to
be around his team. So the fact that he's president

(09:42):
me as a teammate, I'm happy and I know that
all the vets that are there, they understand what comes
with this, will getting paid, Like, hey, you got to
get paid, but at least you're showing up. At least
you are here with us, because he easily can be
sitting at home, and he's earned the right to sit
at home if he wants to, if he wants to
take that route. So him doing that shows me that
he's he just wants to get his just due. But
he's here and he's ready to work. And if anything,

(10:04):
is showing that he's a crazy dog, like he's right here,
he's ready to get off the chain, but.

Speaker 8 (10:08):
You just got to give him his food. So I
love it that he is there now after that, and
like I said, go protect your chicken right now, go
get it. I a man, I agree.

Speaker 11 (10:17):
I mean, he is undoubtedly one of the leaders on
the team and definitely wanted the leaders on the defense,
so to have his presence there and to at least
show the young guys like, hey, look, I'm still here
regardless of what's going on. I'm still gonna be holding
everybody else accountable until I actually get out here and
get my chance to get out here and lead by
example too as well. And it just speaks volumes about

(10:39):
the type of person that he is. And then we've
seen and heard what he talked about in the offseason
how he actually felt like he has more to give.
He felt like, like I heard him say the other
day that like, hey, I feel like I kind of
cheated myself a little bit and not going as hard
as I actually can. So I know that right now
from listening to him, that he has an agenda, that
he's ready to go and ready to redefine himself and

(11:01):
the proof that he's one of the best d ns
in the league.

Speaker 10 (11:04):
So hey, I like, like de marche said, I'm excited
about him being there.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Man, he's playing the game correctly.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
He's playing the game unbelievably in my opinion, like you said,
he's not getting in trouble off the field. On the field,
he's a top three defensive player in the whole National
Football League. And not only is he, you know, a
vocal leader of that defense, but he leads by example.
You know, you don't want to hear me talk, Okay, well,
let me go on the field and back it up.
And he's doing just that and he's been doing it
since he's been in the National Football League. And furthermore,

(11:31):
the way he's playing this, he's putting all the on
this and all you know, the accountability on the organization.
You know, it's not like they can come back to
him and say, oh, well, he hasn't been here. He's
not the leader that you know we need for this
locker room. He's done everything correct. He's led this team
on and off the field, and he's showing up. So
kudos to Parsons.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
All right, So the door said after first practice, since
media got me and other people, they're gonna run up
talk to the players and they will ask about Micha Barson.
Georg said, where your thoughts about seeing Michael here today?

Speaker 4 (12:04):
How do you answer?

Speaker 5 (12:05):
How should other guys on the team give the answer
when the media comes up after practice today they ask
about Michael Parson.

Speaker 10 (12:12):
Hey, man, I'm gonna be honest.

Speaker 11 (12:13):
I'm gonna be like, hey, I'm glad to see him here.
But I understand everything that he's doing right now, and
I understand the process. You know, this game is a
young man's game and it's short lived NFL, not for long,
you know what I'm saying. So in order for Micaeh
to get everything that he's due. You know, he has
to play the cards the way that he's been dealt
with this hand. And unfortunately, like like like we said earlier,

(12:35):
he actually does have all the leverage. And for him
to be there, it's showing without a shoutow of a doubt.
You know, like we said just a second ago, I'm
more than a team player, you know what I mean,
And I'm proving that by me being here. I'm waiting
on y'all to get the stuff right. I'm just waiting
on y'all. As soon as y'all get it right, I'm
ready to go.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
All right, So mcclarence, he'll come up to you.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Pay the man, nah for real.

Speaker 6 (13:00):
But he's doing everything right so that there's no there's
no you know, back and forth, there's no well maybe
this or maybe that. He's doing everything right and he's
the best player on this team. When you talk about
just production period, I know the quarterbacks stition is most important,
but you're talking about the best.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
He's that guy.

Speaker 6 (13:16):
And if we're going to go to the next level,
we need to be you know, super Bowl chairs within
the division, all that good stuff. We need Michael Parsons
in the building. So I would say, hey, man, you
got pay The man is money man.

Speaker 8 (13:26):
Let's be real.

Speaker 9 (13:26):
First of all, the only people that should be making
comments about this is the leaders of the teams and
the vets, and y'all spoken like true vets.

Speaker 8 (13:34):
If you're a young guy, you should not be speaking
on it. You should.

Speaker 9 (13:36):
It's like the coaches always say, who tells no clickbait?
Who tells they taught you that in college? What are
you talking about? You're supposed to know this beforehand, Like
this is where sometimes.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
I'm not gonna be slicking up to come. Of course
you are come at the.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
First round, right, you know these first rounds. And let
me tell you, like.

Speaker 9 (13:56):
And if and if you're a good VET and you
are media trained, which most these guys are. You didn't
play Division one football, you know how not to take
the cheese.

Speaker 8 (14:03):
If anything. You just speak highly of your teammate, the
fact that he's there.

Speaker 9 (14:07):
You don't bite the hand that feeds you, because remember,
he's gonna be here at the end of the day.
You want, you want to be clickbait, don't be It's
like our coaches. I've been growing up in Texas playing
five A football, they always said, don't give nobody clickbait.
If you can't back it up, do not say nothing
out there. So don't say something and you look up
later on down the line. You went viral, but he's
still on that team. So if if y'all see this, well,

(14:29):
I know y'all in practice right now, but if this
can go viral and anything, please guys know who you
are and know what you can say.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
All right, let's get break in here.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
I'll give you somebody walk it. But if he do
it the right way, leverage it.

Speaker 5 (14:45):

that big one that sit a book, Yes, yes they do.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
You're in the.

Speaker 13 (18:19):
Players by aristocrat jam Anthony Trusty. The Cowboys press conference
where Jerry Jones, Stephen Jones, and Brian Shot talk with
the media. Jerry made it really clear he's not happy
with Diggs loses a half million dollars because he decided
to work out in Miami and Jerry.

Speaker 9 (18:42):
Basically its free give me all that give Jesus man,
it's my money and.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
I leave back now called Lord Hammer Jerry made sure
to say he did it.

Speaker 8 (18:56):
You did that's real.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
We're taking it.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
So he basically said, when you pay someone this much money,
because Trey Di's got a nice contract, he got one
of your top fifteen cornerback paid in the league, Jerry's
I gotta expect you to be here.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
You're not here.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
He has a problem with it. So Church, y'all start
with you, yes, er, what do you think this means
for him going forward? And what kind of season does
he need to have because he's already coming off another injury.

Speaker 6 (19:29):
Yeah, I'm gonna be completely honest with you right here.
I'm you know what he was, what he did during
the high season. And granted, this is his this is
his life, whatever you want to call it, his bread.
He wants the ways, he could do whatever he wants to,
but it's painting a big red dot on your back
basically when you go into this season. Because one I
can understand from what Jerry's perspective is, Hey, we paid

(19:51):
you a lot of money. We want you to be
one of the leaders on this defense. And all the
teams that I've been on that have been good and
have gone far in the playoffs, we always had those
leaders in each individual unit. Defensive line, of course, you
got Michael Parsons line back, and corps that's yet to
be known because there's a lot of young cats, a
lot of new free agents coming in there. Who knows
who's gonna be on there. But the secondary. You got

(20:12):
to have a leader in your secondary as well. And
right now, Diggs, who is one of the tenured guys here,
one of the older vets here, one of the highest paid,
one of the better players, you would expect to be
that leader. And it's hard to be a leader when
you're not around in the off season. I mean, you
do have Bland, who's one of the better corners international
Football League, but he's still a very young guy. And
from talking to him and watching all his interviews, he

(20:33):
doesn't seem like the vocal type to go out there
and galvanize the troops. I just don't see that from
a Bland. He's more of a lead by example guy.
So you got to have that vocal leader right now.
You lost it last year with Jordan Luke's gone. With
him gone, you don't have that that vocal leader to
galvanize that dog that you talk about. He's the guy
that galvanized the troops in the secondary. You don't have
him anymore. In the year before that, you had Stephon Gilmore.

(20:55):
So you always had that guy.

Speaker 12 (20:57):
You know.

Speaker 6 (20:57):
When I was around, it was a scandrix. It was
myself who galvin as the troops. You gotta have that
guy in the unit. And when your best player, and
you know, one of the highest played guys is not
there in the off season, it's hard for guys to
you know, actually sit there listen. Yeah, we gotta follow
this man. We gotta follow. So to me, you know,
he did what he did and he has all rights
to do what he wants to do. But it's painting

(21:17):
a picture. Because if you don't go into the season
and you don't ball out, or you don't go out.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
There and perform at a high level, cats go and
look at you like man, So what was you doing
in the off season? What was you doing in Miami?
I mean we was over here at.

Speaker 6 (21:29):
Working We was over here putting the work in, getting
our technique right, learning from the best.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
You said you was grinding, you said you was working out.
I don't see it on tape.

Speaker 11 (21:36):
So a new coaching staff and a new coaching staff
new defense, new terminology, new terminology, all that we grinding?

Speaker 6 (21:43):
Where was you at? So he's point, it's a red
dot on his back right now. If he goes out
and balls out, all will be forgotten. Everything will be forgotten.
But if you go out there and struggle, it's gonna
get real fa And.

Speaker 11 (21:53):
You got to you gotta think about it, like so
that that five hundred rocks that he let go with
something that he actually negotiated to be to get in
the first place. You know what I'm saying. How many
people actually have a five hundred thousand dollars workout bonus? Okay, okay,
and so we got like, let's keep it, Let's keep
it one hundred, Like this is one of the best
hustles that you can have. Okay, six months on, six

(22:14):
months off, and that's six months that you got off.

Speaker 10 (22:17):
You're getting paid to.

Speaker 11 (22:17):
Take care of your body, stay out of trouble, and
be ready for that six months when you actually got
to go to you know what I mean. And so
being that, and I understand, like you're not always as
a as an athlete, as a professional sports player, you're
not always going.

Speaker 10 (22:33):
To get everything that you need inside the building.

Speaker 8 (22:35):
You know that.

Speaker 11 (22:36):
You know, sometimes you're gonna have to go out. You're
gonna have to find a specialized coach. You're gonna have
to find somebody who's gonna work on your body, like
people develop teams of people that help them out. Now
through the structure of it, though, you got some time
to get back in here, and that's what all Jerry's saying.

Speaker 10 (22:50):
I'm sure he wasn't.

Speaker 11 (22:51):
Jerry ain't tripping like Yo, you need to be here
every day, but you definitely need.

Speaker 10 (22:54):
To show up sometimes.

Speaker 11 (22:56):
And with that money, we know, comes a lot of
other responses flat out, you know what I mean exactly,
So I understand where he's coming from, and I do.
I definitely think, like what Church said, you got to
have that dude in the secondary and at every position
that's going to galvanize the guys and get him together.
And with him being the longest tenured dude, you know
what I'm saying in that secondary, you would naturally think

(23:18):
it just falls in place for him with the contract
and with the years he's been here.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
So Trey, we know Diggs played at Alabama play for
Nick Satan, so you know all about expectations and what's
voluntary what's.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Not voluntaring exactly.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
The owner is also the general manager.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
And I talked to a media person who covers the
team and they basically said to me, unless he balls
out makes all pro it's hard to think that he'll
be here next year.

Speaker 8 (23:51):
Your thoughts man.

Speaker 9 (23:52):
First of all, everybody wants to be that guy that
can say this and say that. We all know when
it comes to Jerry Jones, he's judge, jury, and executioner.
There are people that is a part of his cabinets
that can talk to him and galvanize him.

Speaker 8 (24:07):
But if he wants you here, he wants you here.
If he don't, he don't.

Speaker 9 (24:11):
But history has shown that he's vocal and he's gonna
say what's on his mind. If he's not one, if
he don't want to pay you right now, he's going
to say, he's going to allude to it, and he's
going to say how he feels in the media. He's
what he say straight to the red meat. Is what
Jason Garrett used to say when he was back here
with Jerry's always been that guy.

Speaker 8 (24:28):
So for him to go out there and scrutinize you
like that, yeah, it is.

Speaker 9 (24:33):
It's like it's put up or shut up. But like everybody,
we all love a winner. So if he comes back
here and he's that Trayvon Diggs that got him paid,
lead the leagues and interception and make those plays.

Speaker 8 (24:43):
Everybody gonna say, hey, we don't care. He was a vet.
He performed as a vet.

Speaker 9 (24:47):
He went out and he trained, and he did what
he needed to do coming off a major injury to
get him right.

Speaker 8 (24:52):
But the moment that you mess up, yeah, it is
a bigger bulls eye on your target.

Speaker 9 (24:56):
So the one thing that I can say with him
playing Nick Saban, knowing the rules that come with the game.
Nick Saban has taught those guys at Alabama's to be
professionals before they even came in the building.

Speaker 8 (25:08):
That should say. That's the only thing I'm going to say.

Speaker 9 (25:10):
As a player and as a fan, knowing that you
come from that strict background, there has to be a
method to this madness, Like he can't just be doing
this for that and you're living off the potential that
he had in the past where you're saying, hey, maybe
this does work. But like Nick Saban told you, I'll
put up with it until I don't have to put
up with.

Speaker 8 (25:28):
It no more. So that's where you have to go
with that. So seeing him do this and do that,
it's like, I just want to see you ball out.

Speaker 5 (25:34):
Man, all right, try Mazie Smith. According to Brian Schottenheimer,
lost little Wade. He's now three hundred pounds. So you
played on the d line. You let us know he
on the players line. Your thoughts, no white t's or
what this year?

Speaker 8 (25:46):
Man?

Speaker 3 (25:47):
What were doing?

Speaker 5 (25:47):
Man?

Speaker 8 (25:48):
Man, I think this boy is really about the hunt
man for them.

Speaker 9 (25:52):
I'm not on your look before I even say that,
because you know how we said earlier guys, get the
cheese new I see what you trying.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
To do that later on, I'm not. I'm not like
Mazi three hundred pound.

Speaker 9 (26:04):
Him with him being at three hundred pounds right now,
like I love it, Like anytime a guy comes back
in here and they say, hey, I either added the weight,
lost the weight, tuned up, like he heard what was
going on over there. Everybody said you couldn't stop. You
couldn't stop a run, you couldn't stop a nosebleed if
he was out there in the cold. So for him
to come back this solid and stuff like that, it's cool.

(26:24):
You dressed the part. But I want to see if
you played the part like me being an undersized guy,
like I didn't care about size when guys came back in.
When you look at somebody and you sized them up,
it was like, oh, you change your body a little bit.
Oh you got different. Well guess what now, let's see
if you can play different? Can you move with that
new weight that you have, you being lighter than what
you are, are you still going to be as strong
as you were before?

Speaker 8 (26:44):
Then? Like that's the real question.

Speaker 9 (26:45):
If me, I'm looking at it like, oh, I want
to see how you adjust, because everybody doesn't adjust to
certain things very well, if that makes sense.

Speaker 8 (26:53):
As far as the new power nuances, it's just like
Dragon ball Z.

Speaker 9 (26:56):
You go out there and you say, hey, I got
this new power. You ain't just going out there super
saying and handling somebody there. You got to see if
you can work into this. And right now we got
to see if is going to work into this, because frankly,
nobody worked into it last year. So if anything, it's
a big question.

Speaker 8 (27:09):
Mark ady Man.

Speaker 11 (27:11):
I think that when a player hears the noise and
I'm not even gonna call it noise, when he actually
hears the criticism and in the offseason tries to attempt
to try to rectify some of that stuff, whether it
be through the weight room, through his diet or whatever
he is. And it's taking a aa I guess you
could say a visual change to come back in I
think number one. That's the first start of it, right, Okay,

(27:34):
Like we already see that you've dedicated something too changing
all right now, just like you said, we got to play,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 10 (27:41):
And so if the play comes along.

Speaker 11 (27:42):
And he and he's actually listened and heard and it's
not just about like changing my body, but it's about
changing my play style, you know what I mean, and
that that's that's I mean, that's that's the only way
that we're actually going to be able to see and
tell anything. We can look at him and see that
he's changed his body, but it's his play going to
step up and is it.

Speaker 10 (27:59):
That's it's going to be different.

Speaker 9 (28:01):
And when you're saying playstyle, I'm gonna break it down
a little bit further saying as a defensive lineman, like
when you put on that muscle, like you said, if
you had a fast twitch, get off and then all
of a sudden you added this muscle. Are you going
to be the brute now to where it's like, hey,
nobody's coming through this gap. Are you going to be
able to still have your get off and implement that
power into it? Are you now going to go from
being a power holding the wall to hey, I'm a

(28:24):
pass rusher? Like what is that going to look like
for you? Because we seen I'll give you a prime
example Tyron Crawford. Throughout his tenure here, we seen his
body change different times, and he was a d N
that was a pass rusher, that was a strong side guy,
to he became a quick titch three technique.

Speaker 8 (28:39):
Then he became the hold up the wall.

Speaker 9 (28:41):
And hey, I'm the guy that's sitting here barricade and
I'm the biggest on the line.

Speaker 8 (28:45):
So when you say that play style, you have to adjust.

Speaker 9 (28:48):
And that's why right now, as a D lineman, I
get excited and you say, hey, I see you attempting
to make that change. But like you just said earlier,
no white Teaz, we don't want to sit here like
everybody looks good until you get them pads on.

Speaker 8 (29:00):
We won't mill until two weeks.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
You said it right there, until we see some pads
right now, These first little prankices being absolutely.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Nothing for the guys up front.

Speaker 5 (29:07):

it's just a it's it's just a it's a tough
road that we have to uh to hold here, you
know what I'm saying. Lot of confidence coming, there's a
lot of cushion when so we've always done the most

(32:58):
with the least, you know what I mean. That's one
thing that pick is hold on now we can match
our best up against anybody's best.

Speaker 10 (33:04):
And be right there with You'll got some but but typically.

He can't do that with us. I'm gonna put it
out there. I know what he's trying to do. I
know where he want to go.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Last time you guys won the SEC championship was what
four years ago? Last time you went to the championship game?

Speaker 8 (33:24):
Who are they playing? Who are they playing? Who are
they playing? First of all, you can't you out here.

Speaker 11 (33:32):
They play whoever they put on the money, you guys,
that's what they do.

Speaker 10 (33:36):
They play whoever they put on the schedule.

Speaker 9 (33:37):
And I'm not trying to who's on your can we
can we take a strength of schedule in the account.

Speaker 8 (33:43):
That you did hold on, So we ain't gonna get
on your your honor.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
Is that your excuse?

Speaker 8 (33:49):
That's not an excuse.

Speaker 10 (33:51):
We play who put on the schedule?

Speaker 8 (33:53):
Y'all play who I want you to go back to?

Speaker 9 (33:56):
You line up your best against our best? Comment Hey, no, no, no,
no no no, let's go through history. No, let's go
through history. What if you do for me lately? What
are you doing for me lately? There was a hold on?
You missed the PSF over there. Relax, I said, I'm
a defensive guy. So you know the rankers came out

(34:17):
of the top defensive ends that got to the ball
the fastest out of the league. I'm gonna tell you
like this, the top two, top two out of the
five where they go to school at.

Speaker 8 (34:30):
Talking about.

Speaker 9 (34:33):
Von Miller got multiple rings? Now, so you want to
bring up he talk about Aaron Donald talk about that?
I know, I was like about I was like when
I say what I say, let's line up and that's
with the basket. You're right, let's talk about it. Von Miller,
who is still active in doing what he's doing right now.
That just we got to worry about him. He over
there with the commanders, then we're gonna go with the

(34:54):
baby goat over there, Miles Garrett.

Speaker 8 (34:57):
So after Aaron donald came Donald, what are you talking about?
Both of them?

Speaker 9 (35:02):
Are Garrett? Miles Garrett? Miles Garrett that guy? No, no, no,
he does not get the credit that he does. What
are we talking about? This man plays all four position
moving Aaron Donalds didn't being some amazing things, but he
bro before.

Speaker 10 (35:17):
It's also done.

Speaker 8 (35:18):
Y'all better wait, y'all be one.

Speaker 5 (35:21):
Of the greatest defensive tackles all house is still going
and been doing this since they all time. I'm just saying,
when you talk about when they when they talking about, hey,
give me your old man team early, what.

Speaker 8 (35:33):
Are you talking about about?

Speaker 10 (35:35):
From Oles Garrett?

Speaker 8 (35:36):
What year is this?

Speaker 10 (35:36):
From Miles Garrett?

Speaker 8 (35:37):
I don't know what year.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Fourteen he might be his tenth, right or eleven. He
came into fourteen.

Speaker 8 (35:42):
Oh he did not for years. He came in three
years after that. What are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (35:46):
He came in seventeen.

Speaker 8 (35:48):
Ain't been ten yet, it ain't even been ten.

Speaker 10 (35:50):
He bro ain't.

Speaker 8 (35:54):
We got varn and still doing it. One of the top.

Speaker 9 (35:56):
You know, he got the fastest gifts a three time.
I'm fat, I'm not talking. We got starting.

Speaker 10 (36:03):
This was all about.

Speaker 4 (36:05):
That's one guy.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
Hold you got no conference championship and you then ran
this thing all off the rails here, he's.

Speaker 8 (36:12):
No conference champions.

Speaker 11 (36:15):
Last time y'all relevant. Last time y'all was relevant Johnny
Man's I.

Speaker 9 (36:21):
Guess it was on that roster last Just let the
nation in sacks that year, TFLs and tackles. Okay, at
defensive in week sign him him. Let's go, we do
what we do, and I can bring up an old name.

Speaker 10 (36:34):
He remember this name?

Speaker 11 (36:35):
He remember this name, and this man was like second
or third in the Heisman run up.

Speaker 10 (36:39):
He played d N two.

Speaker 8 (36:41):
So what's what was his name again? Green?

Speaker 10 (36:43):
Okay, what was the name again?

Speaker 8 (36:44):
Okay, yeah, you have to you have to go reaching
that archive for that, right. No, I didn't.

Speaker 10 (36:47):
Okay, like that's common people who know football we do
we do.

Speaker 9 (36:53):
Let me hold on, let me go ask a young
guy right now, somebody that's my age, a younger. If
they tell me who is Hugh Green, them guys are
gonna slow it down.

Speaker 8 (36:59):
You went back to go get you went back to
go get big football heads. Is football football, But I'm
just saying football. Hold on, who y'all got Mike Evans?
Who y'all going with that? Who match?

Speaker 4 (37:11):
Once again?

Speaker 5 (37:12):
An another great player, another great player who left A
and M couldn't get the SEC championship game, left with
no ring at, won no champions I mean.

Speaker 16 (37:20):
You guys got everybody got championship. You guys went to
the SEC and you can't do nothing.

Speaker 8 (37:26):
What are you talking about? We strap Bama that first year?

Speaker 9 (37:28):
Did we not?

Speaker 4 (37:29):
We went to the championship game and went to a
league and won it.

Speaker 16 (37:35):
Who they playing against? Texas just got there last year
and they was in the championship. I'm not doing that
in Texas.

Speaker 8 (37:41):
That that easy?

Speaker 10 (37:43):
What do you want? Do you want it to only
be one conference?

Speaker 8 (37:47):
We can if y'all can all that. If y'all y'all,
I'm not that strong.

Speaker 10 (37:51):
Hold on, nobody got that strong and we're not that strong.
They can play, y'all. Man run through y'all.

Speaker 4 (37:59):
You know, I don't believe that couldn't be us C
in the bowl game.

Speaker 8 (38:06):
You just what school do you represent? You stay over there?
Un stopped that bro, Bro stop that man who all
our people back this year?

Speaker 10 (38:16):
And Williams, I don't want to talk about that.

Speaker 8 (38:20):
Yeah, you don't want to talk about that. No, don't
talk about that Bowl game.

Speaker 10 (38:24):
We don't talk about it like that.

Speaker 8 (38:25):
Williams your best over.

Speaker 10 (38:30):
Time?

Speaker 4 (38:30):
Okay, so you went over time?

Speaker 8 (38:32):
Yeah we went.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
You guys was like twenty and lost twenty off the plane?

Speaker 8 (38:37):
Who is your school? Who is your who was money?

Speaker 10 (38:42):
You guys been hyped and overrated for a long time.

Speaker 9 (38:45):
Nobody even talks about it, and nobody even talks about
stopped talks about them.

Speaker 8 (38:51):
We're in Texas.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
I mean, we just had the first draft leak.

Speaker 8 (38:54):
We just had another second round draft.

Speaker 4 (38:56):
Pie who talks about us?

Speaker 9 (38:58):
Every time you talk about the two best defensive player,
arguably the two best defensive players.

Speaker 11 (39:02):
In the league, you say, talk about it's the players.
Ever you talk about Darrell Reeves and Aaron Donald.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
Forget about this.

Speaker 8 (39:12):
I'm not readout man. Man that win okay, I can't
go get that win? Yeah he was the Hall of Fame?

Speaker 10 (39:22):
What that win?

Speaker 9 (39:29):
Like that?

Speaker 8 (39:29):
Hey? I want you see what I wanted to see
what you said about my dog?

Speaker 4 (39:33):
That exactly we got the ball of But we're just
talking Jacob Green.

Speaker 10 (39:37):
Let's just.

Speaker 8 (39:39):
I can come on, man, Jack Green.
