Speaker 1 (00:00):
Upon for the review. Hello, Hello everyone, how are we doing? Bless?
Can't complain anything fun?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
For your birthday?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
We had a all my all my friends got together.
I think it was that like what I think it
was like seven fifty seven fifty in the morning. It
was all my friends, coaching staff was here. It's a
great team meeting.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Had had a ton of fun.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Did you lose your voice?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yeah, you know, life getting a little sick, But yeah,
looked like a pretty How does it sound? Is it like,
is it a good not? Yeah? Is it like a
cool lose my voice?

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Or is it like a alright, sorry I got the
troop right there. Yeah, no, it's all good. I'm it's
not intentional. U.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
From from an offensive perspective, it seemed like a really
strong day for you guys.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
What's take Like?

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Why do you think typically defenses kind of start off
ahead of offenses just when you get to camp from
like a the standpoint of playing pads, but just kind
of getting accustom to where you're at after the.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Break, you know, I don't know, that's not really a
mentality we have. We want to win every day, just
like the defense wants to win every day. So yeah,
I think you know, we had a better day today.
You know they had some better days earlier on in camp.
It's camp, you know, it's back and forth. We always
keep scoring there because coach always wants to cultivate that competition.
And you know tomorrow's gonna be a new day. So

(01:26):
really just one day at a time.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Mentality.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Dave talked about sorry, how team Act bounced back from
a tough initial one on one rep with with Mike
Jack and caught that long track that ball that that
you put on him. Could you take us through just
that one rep and kind of what that says about
him and kind of your chemistry.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I think, yeah, that was a great job of him.
I'm going and tracking the ball. It was great coverage,
and you know that's that's the league. You know, it's
gonna be a lot of great corners out there. It's
a lot of contested catches. But it was a great
job of a team understanding leverage, you know, find pressure
for pressure fading out at the last moment. And again
it's it's you're gonna win reps, you're gonna lose reps.
But it's a competitive spirit that he has that really

(02:10):
a lot of guys all of us have of you know,
you gotta wash it, you gotta learn from it, and
then you gotta come back and compete.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Every reps a new opportunity. Uh.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
He's done a great job with that and being able
to go against the corners. We have that that'll prepare
him for the year.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
You had another play in elevens where you you where
you threw it to him over the middle and you
got wide open at kind of a touchdown run after
the catch. Have you been able to notice his speed
just playing speed, being in the pocket and just seeing him.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Go you know, yeah, yeah, he has a great feel.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
You know, he does a great job of understanding man
versus his own understanding when again into certain windows and
then also has a great great knack for as soon
as he catches the ball and secure as that, he
becomes a runner, which is it's it's what you love
from a from a quarterback when you can get a
fifteen yard dig and it can turn into an explosive.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Even beyond that. So it's great to see.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
We know he's capable of it. We have a ton
of guys that do that. Uh, you know, coach does
a great job of coaching on that.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
So it, it's it's exciting. RaSE.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Last year was rough at times, you know, Fouria have
it made it through and and really approved.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Towards the end of the last season. What did you
learn from that whole experience of last year.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah, I just wanna be consistent, you know, ups or downs,
good games, bad games, regardless of the situation.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Uh just wanna be.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Consistent in my work, in my process as something that
coach talks about all the time, making sure that, you know,
we focus on the work. And you know, I felt
like I was able to do that regardless of what
my circumstance was.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
And I never wanna lose that. I wanna make sure
that I'm consistent.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
And just cause I was consistent in the past, I
gotta challenge myself every day to be just as if
not more consistent.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
So that's the journey. Do you ever lose confidence?

Speaker 4 (03:39):
You know?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Uh no, My confidence comes from God and the people
around me.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Uh Team back had a routine he did for warming
up at in college where.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
You go up was twisting behind the back and one
hand a catch. If you guys practice at it all
so you couldn't do that. Uh nah, I've been practicing
with him.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I don't know his routine. Well, you know, preseason will
be cool. You kind of get to see every other guys.
Everyone has their their their little routine. Everyone has, uh
what they've been doing for a while. So yeah, we'll
we'll see what, uh what everyone's is this year.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
So far. What's your experience like working with himself?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Yeah, I mean someone that you know, I've watched from
a from afar, just being a fan of the game
for a while, but getting to see it, sitting at
having a locker next to him, gonna be able to
talk and see the things he he sees, hear his
mindset about how he attacks route running. It's been it's
been great for me and for the entire team just
to to be around. He's someone that you know, you
can definitely trust. You love it as a quarterback. You

(04:35):
know he's gonna be at the right place, right time,
and so much creativity. But one of the things he does,
he's able to stay on time with that creativity, which
is really hard to do. So he's done a great
job and we're all excited to to watch him keep going.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Did you get that they have here or talk to him.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've I've I've met him before. It
was good to see we had a bunch of Clemson
guys out here. It's great for the you know, seeing
the Carolinas come together.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
So yeah, it was cool. Uh No, he didn't recruit me. DJ.
That's my dog.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
We're the same class and DJ committed early, so uh yeah,
he didn't recruit me.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
But it it's all love. Yeah he was. When Hunter's
out there, street closed and all, he just looks like
a normal person, but put a hell and on, he says,
he becomes Superman. What do you see?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
I mean, I don't think I'm at liberty to say
what a normal person looks like. I do know that
the football player and the competitor he is. Again, he's
putting it on film. He's been doing his whole career.
He's doing it out here in training camp. Uh you know,
it's it's one of the fun ones when you go
back and watch watch, uh watch the film after this

(05:40):
and you get to see just how he got where
he did it.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
It's been fun. So yeah, it's it's great to watch
him compete.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Pristons Fribert Romo's gotten pretty crowded over the last few months.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
But what is David Moore do.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
You kind of still set himself apart. Yeah, Like you said,
it's been. It's a really really competitive, really deep receiver room.
It's just to see the competition, see all guys. They
can make plays that that flash and do really good things.
I think Demo just being the steady, consistent guy he is,
and also being one of the vets in the room too.
He's been the system for a while, whether it be
here or Tampa. Scattle knows exactly what he's doing. He's

(06:13):
done a great job of helping out the young guys
and where to line up, route detail things like that.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
And again, just just consistency.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Someone you you know where he's gonna be, is always
doing the right thing in the run game, in the
past game, and you know that's that's what coaches want
to see, right.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Of course on the on the wide receiver.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
And you have run for from Clinston exablearly get South
Carolina with that rivalry.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Of course your college history probably with both. But have
you had to either mediate or a part of any
rivalry discussions in that aspect not not?

Speaker 3 (06:43):
For most two I never played uh while I was
at BAMMA. We never played either of those two. I
don't think they played against each other, like I don't
think they're there at the same time. So luckily with
with us three, we're able to able to keep it friendly.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Right, So what's struck you about?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Not just continue asking about other receivers, but what's DRUCKI
about Chaden Cooker?

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
His training camp.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Man, the competitive spirit he's come out with.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
You saw today, you know, being physical, making contested catches,
really taking the challenge. I think you really you you
see that again another year in the system for him,
him being confident, knowing what he can do. Uh, he
put it out on on tape all last year. Him
coming in and playing with the edge, playing with the chip.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
He he's confident.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
He's talking on the field, you know, he's you feel
his presence when he's out there. Uh, it's something that
you see on the table when you're on the field.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
You know, we all feel it. So I love I
I love his his mindset. He's he's a great dude.
The way he works it. It's really showing out on
on practice. Uh.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
I have all the confidence in the world and in
him and in the rest of receiving corps too. So
like you said it's a super super crowded room, a
lot of competition,
