Speaker 1 (00:00):
Upon further review.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
God, yeah, like I told coach, not a lot of
people outside of this building, like gave you guys a chance.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Just it was a short week and then with all
the injuries.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Just talk about the resilience of this team and kind
of the message that you guys.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Just invade all through because we's practice and holidays.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It was just so many distractions, so many things that
would detracted from the day today.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Yeah, I'm so proud of this group, you know, just uh,
just like you said, the resilience, Uh, for us, you know,
we always lean on each other. You know, we always
have belief, We always uh you know, we know we
have what it takes in this this building, and you know,
we don't worry about the outside opinions. So for all
of us, like you said, short week, holiday is all that.
Everyone was super locked in all week. You know, this

(00:42):
was uh there's a lot of focus. Everyone was excited
for the moment, excited to go out there and play.
And you know, we were excited just you know, as
coach says, because it was the next game. You know,
we were just excited for the opportunity. And uh, I'm
I'm so proud of this team. How they pulled it
off the the way we won both you know, both
sides of the ball, all three phases. This is it
is a great win. So super proud.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
What are those conversations like going into fourth downs when
you go along to jailing and t back in that situation.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Yeah, again, I just trust my guys. There's no big conversation, no,
no big hoorah. Again for me, I'm super grateful to
have guys like that on the perimeter that I trust,
you know, and and need to have it situations fourth downs.
Trust them to win one on ones. Trust them with
fifty fifty balls, trust them and throw them open whatever
it may be. You know, we have a ton of competitors.
They need a great job of you know, going getting

(01:31):
the getting those balls and you know, putting themselves those
situations on those fourth downs. So again, it's not a
not a big speech. I know those guys always ready
continue to.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Have the trust. When a game went the waight last.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Week's game win, it never waivers again. You know, it's
a competitive league. There's gonna be ups and downs. But
I I know, I know my guys, I know how
they work, I know who they are, I know the
competitors they are no matter what, I'm always have confidence
in them, so don't never change.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Today it felt like going into the fourth, especially with
the troop of chance and the ovation for the offense.
I mean, it was we looked up in the press
box and it was pretty cool just to look around.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Did you feel that on the field for sure? For
sure that that means means a ton you know, for
the Caroliners to come and support us. You know, we
we take a lot of pride in protecting the bank
and you know, for us to get that, it's a
huge advantage. You know, it's a you know, it means
a lot of the effects a game, So we're super
grateful for the fan base. It was definitely felt like normal,
So yeah, we were. We're all super grateful for that.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Right you can have resilience. You guys have the most
back to back game since the O and two start,
and Coach canal Is said, it's the humility of this
group that stands out where does where do you see
humility on this roster?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Just our our willingness to to chase our best, to
want to get better. You know. Coach challenged us with
that early on in the week and throughout the week,
just trying to find our best and you know, good game,
bad game, whatever it may be. We have a bunch
of guys that come in and just just focus on
the work. They want to be better, they want to grow,
they want to watch and see how we can you know,
grow as a unit as a team. So it's all

(02:59):
individuals and it's part of the culture. So again, I'm
super grateful to be a part of that. You would
talk more on the practice field or in film rooms
things a combination of both. Again, today or this week,
weren't able to get a ton of full speed reps
because a short week, but it reveals itself through the
still without doing that. Still the willingness to go on

(03:19):
the side get some extra stuff, still, the willingness to
have attention to detail all that stuff. And then film
room saying, you know, you have to go in with
the with the open open mind, be willing to grow,
be willing to learn, watch this stuff that's tough to watch,
and everyone does that and takes that challenge. So yeah,
I'm super grateful to be part of this group.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
To be able to run about all the way you
did today. I mean, you talk about having trust in
your guys. It's been a while since we've see Cuba
and you go to do that. What's that like for
you to see that come alive?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
As Dave says, yeah, it's it's great, you know for
us who you know, we want to be balanced. We
have all the conferences in the world and uh, you
know in the line and those guys and to see them,
you know, not doing anything that was surprising to me
or to anyone in this building, but just be them else,
you know, go out there, be be special, be dynamic.
You know, the old line doing a great job of
taking pride again. We have a ton of respect for

(04:06):
them as a team and as a unit. That's a
really good unit out there, really good front. And for
everyone to take that challenge to to step up and
you know, want to find our best again. That that
means a lot.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
A division obviously, I know you got severed to go.
But the five weeks coming up next, and I'm sure
you'd like to play every week, and you know you
focus on one game at a time, but to be
seven and six with that when and now with a
week to get healthy before you have a bunch of
divisional games down the stretch.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
How important that, Yeah, you know, it's it's it's huge
obviously being able to go into this this this last stress.
We want to take it one game at a time.
You know, we stuff, we can't control stuff that. You know,
we can't look too far ahead. But you know we
know that. You know, they're they're stuff at stake. For us,
it's just being consistent with our process. You know, that's
the thing about this team. It's never needed motivation, it's

(04:52):
never needed incentive to to go and chase greatness. So
again for us, you know, we'll have a week to
reset and then we'll come back and we'll take a
week to week. Today, Uh, it's it's it's fun. It's
it's it's fun after a win. It's tough to win
in this league. You know, again, we have a ton
of respect for our opponents and just for this league in general.

(05:13):
So you know, you have to celebrate those those wins
tho those you know, you celebrate the success. And it's
great because as you talked about before, it's a group
that's that's naturally humble. You know, it's not guys after
a win that you know, now you got to reel
them back on Monday or reeling back during the week,
and you know everyone can keep it as it is,
you know, normally normal week. You know, you have that
twenty four hour rule where you can enjoy it and

(05:34):
then you come back. I'm pretty sure we're back tomorrow.
We'll watch the film. We'll still learn and grow. So
you got to celebrate the success.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
I stated about this, but I'll ask you to tenth
different offensive line starting combination today for this group. But
they always just kind of seem to get the job done.
I know you're focused on your job, but working with
a bunch of different guys out there, what do you
have to say about those guys continually churning new bodies
out there.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
It couldn't be more more proud, more grateful for that unit.
Just a resiliency show. Like you said, so much change,
you know, so much in and out, so much uncertainty
week to week, just with with how much movement there's been,
and like you said, there there hasn't been drop off
every week. They stepped up to the plate again. We
we've played some really good units. This is a really
good unit we just played and for them to you know,

(06:15):
to play as they did the the cohesion with Neess
they have. It speaks to the culture they have in
that that room to coach in. So yeah, I'm I'm
I'm super proud, uh super grateful for that value
