Oh, pun further review.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
That the drive was the was the systems like a
hundred Oh, just trust everyone in the huddle, trust each other.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
You know, we all want those moments. We want the
game in our hands. You know, we want to you know,
we wanna execute. We wanted to leave no doubt his offense.
You know we would didn't wanna leave them any time.
And speaks to the the trust, uh, from from coach,
from the staff, and.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
The belief we having each other.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
But uh, it's a a great job from Hunter, great catch,
great win on the route and everyone all even executing
the in a big moment. Oh you said.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
Mcgillivan's up in the the end zone a couple of
times to day, but it was after that opening, you know,
kind of miscommunications dropped.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
It led to the interception.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
To talk about rebounding from that, but also what it
meant to to get him going and find him.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
In the zone A couple Yeah, I mean, obviously, Team
Mac's been huge for us the entire year. I'm super
glad that he was able to get into the azo.
He's been I mean, he's been been huge and you
know for me s stuff like that, it's it's part
of the game. You know, there's there's a little things
that happened, and from both of us, you know, there's
just on to the next play.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
I always believe in him, always trusting him.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
He always uh has it, has the confidence, has the
same to to go out and be himself like he
did the rest of the game. So it's you know
that that's adversity, but we all lean on each other
for that.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
We always played for championships and always had winning record.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
What's that does mean in the NFL the first time
since took that. Yeah, I mean it's it. It's great.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
From where we are, it's a great win today. Obviously,
it's a long season. We it's a week two week
league right now. You know, we're we're excited. We're enjoying
this win. But you know next week we're gonna turn
the page and you know it's I it's for us.
You know, we have to figure out to be consistent.
You know, we have to put 'em together. We have
to continue to stack again. Right now for twenty four hours,
we're gonna enjoy it, but you know we're gonna come back.
(01:52):
We already talked about in the locker room. Everyone's dedicated
to moving forward. So uh, that's all it is. We
wanna go one to know next week.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Rico that you know, maybe there was a little extra edge,
you know what, any Sandy gets to play for him
team where is? But did you notice there was something
will extra special?
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah? Of course, you know Rico is a competitor. That
just speaks to the dog he is. You know, he
he I. It was personal.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
We knew that and we wanted to have his back.
You know, that's our brother.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
That's someone that you know, if it's important to him,
when it's personally him, it's personal to us. So I
mean him playing the way he played again, not a surprise,
That's that's the guy he is. The old line do
an amazing job allowing that to happen. Everyone in the
perimeterive blocking, you know, I'm I'm super happy for him.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
They keep talking about what a violent run he is.
What do you use to you when when you were
expanding back getting the ball.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
It's a great description, you know, violent, someone who was
super explosive, really patient, and then when he decides to
put his foot in the ground and go, you know
he has bad intentions and you know when you when
you get to watch that always say, I get like
to watch the end zone view of film live and
it's it's so much fun being able to turn around
and and and watch to to see all the great
stuff that our backs do. So w 'or glad, he's
(02:57):
he's he's with.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Us, right, did you advise tricks to go down on that.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
On that last play?
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Yeah? Yeah, you know, again, we wanna leave no doubt.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
We wanna make sure that you know we were in
uh you know we were first down, get down. Make
sure that you know we didn't wanna give them time back,
you know, and we talk about that here. You know,
we we have uh situational presentations about that. You know,
we're prepared. The coaching staff does a great job of
you know, giving us situations like this to do it.
So it was just just communicating that and it's a
great job from from from Trevor. You know, young guy
(03:25):
could could easily you know, go rogue and and say.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Ah, it's my s my shot. But team first guy,
So you know, it was it was big.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
It's straight we that you had a big, big pass
play on fourth down to uh on the game when
a drive.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
I'm just curious it is.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
You do you feel like you, your own confidence is growing.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
As a player.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
You know, my my confidence come from from God, it
comes from this team. So it's it, it's always there.
Super grateful to to be where I'm at. I'm grateful
to be a part of this team. I grateful to
be able to have the guys that I lean on
every single day. So you know, I have I have
a a ton reasons be confident. And in moments like that,
we all trust each other, we all believe in each other,
and you know we're gonna have to continue to keep
stacking him.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
What does it say about this team and specifically the
offensive line, that you can have so many injuries.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Already this season, those guys continue to step up the front. Yeah,
just speaks to the resilience.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
You know, that's not easy to do at all, you know,
especially against really good units, to come in and and
and and not not miss a beat with uh, with
with injuries, with people substituting in and out, with with
all this stuff going on, and it it speaks to
the culture of that room, the coaching staff, the the guys.
They they hold themselves to a certain standard we do
as a unit. And uh, I'm super grateful to for
(04:34):
for them to be who they are protecting me. I'm
walking around here feeling great because of them, and I'm
I'm I'm for sure, eternally grateful for that confident.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
And that the offense when Cuba comes back, if there
are enough.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Balls go around, for sure, I'm super confident. The The
great thing is those are two guys that want to win.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
You know.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Cuba is a you know, Cuba is a leader on
this team. He's he's huge for us. He always will be.
Same with Rico. Does a great job of, you know,
of of doing all the things you've seen. So at
the end of the day, we wanna win. We wanna
do whatever it takes to to win. And they're they're
always you know, they're close, they're always supporting each other,
They're always having each other's back, and uh, whatever it
takes for us to win, I know we'll all do
(05:15):
all living uh uh in the unit and all. However,
many people on the roster on the team, so you
do as to go.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Down there, But did you advise the make shift?
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (05:27):
I I you know, I'll I'll plead the fifth on
that one. But uh, we're again, it's it's football, you know,
we're things that happen. We make plays, uh guards to
what happened. I'm super proud of the team.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
Right if you have a pretty good tom you look.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Up that offensive line games do what is it like
about your bags?
Speaker 4 (05:45):
It's always treat people.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
It's it's it's crazy. We watch it, you get to
see it live and it's it's wild. We we paused
the film a ton, and you know, when we're in
the quarterback room, we're talking through stuff run game, you know,
we kind of talk through scheme and then you know,
we talk about carrying out our fakes and little things
that we have ideas off off of it. But every
once in a while we'll just stop and pause, like, hey,
let's look at this person. And all the time it's
(06:10):
like let's look at delu uh pull for this end
right here, and we all just sit there as like wow,
Like that's a like that I would be imagine having to,
you know, deal with that as an end. But again,
d do lose a amazing player, you know, person in
player he used for the team.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
So it's I it's aprivileged during the.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Week and you don't see the truths of that neighbor.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
In wins and what does it mean this, Yeah, you know,
it's a blessing for sure. You know, Uh, regardless of
anything I've I've always been so proud of this team
of how we've worked, is how we've you know, carried
ourselves through the week. And I think now it's it's
just more encouragement. We have to make sure that we
continue to keep building, continue to keep pushing ourselves during
the week. We we know that it it works. We
(06:55):
know what the coaches are are are having us do,
and uh, the process is is what we need to
be doing, and is just continue to trust each other,
push each other, and we're excited for the work.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Right.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
How much you tried what the album to do?
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Were they opu enough to play action game that it
seems to have always.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Had a problem effect on what you're Yeah, it's been
huge just us as a as a offense. That that's
everyone as a unit with the run game.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
And then like you.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Said it it it it helps helps me, helps a
play caller when you can open up play past stuff.
So the the credit goes to everyone and a as
a unit, we're we're excited to keep going, right.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
So it also seems like yeah, I mean you keep
losing an offensive linement or two each week, ors you know,
and and get your numbers the running game keep going on.
What does it say about the guys a front that
or uh?
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Stuff in the Yeah, just speaks to the resilience of
the room. A ton of competitors, there's there, there's a
standard they hold themselves too. So uh, I'm grateful for
for that unit.
Speaker 5 (07:50):
How is that an ass to that thought? Well as
founds today, I know we say kind of been thinking
about it. You have to switch up the sceenior and
not think about it. Move back to well you took
us through that touch his first such round play and
then what does the name on the farm farm the
bloss today?
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Yeah, I mean, obviously he's been been huge for us.
He's a great player, continuing to just get better and
better and grow. And I'm I'm super grateful that it
it was able to pay off for for him getting
in the an zone. I mean, he deserves it. He's
been working hard, He's been doing amazing all all all season.
I'm excited to continue to watch him grow and just
a ah, an amazing job on a on a double move,
(08:26):
great route and for the first for the first touchdown
and then we had uh put the play in that
he scored on for the second touchdown, and uh, he's
you know when we designed it, he's kind of last
in progression. And he came in and he was like, uh,
we ran it, and he's like, I love this play.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
He's like this is this.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Is great, this is a great design. He's like, and
if you get back to me, i'm'a go win. And
we had talked about it actually, uh yesterday, and it
was just like, it's great to see the buy in
of someone who's like, you know, last in progression and
still love to play, still can't wait for it to
get called, and like him really taking ownership. And he
was like, man, if you get back to me, is
it's going. And it it ended up and he called
his shot. So again it it speaks to to the competitor,
(09:07):
is he He did a great job on both of those.
He's been doing a great job all year. So I'm
excited for for the growth to continue.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Did you know that was there before kneeling got to.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
You and you stepped forward work?
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Yeah? Yeah, you know you just uh you know, you
know the concept, you know where people are gonna be
so obviously trusted him to to one on that route,
get back to him quick, and he did an amazing job.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
You just put that in this week. This that the
second touch out best uh second. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yeah, something that was new that he was he was
excited about, and yeah, he did an amazing job.
