Speaker 1 (00:01):
Review.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
How'd you get that hat so quickly? Man?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
We we have them all sit out here, and once
I told my family and my agent you know who
it was, they instantly handed it them.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
So you had all you had all thirty two teams. Huh,
what do you what are you going to do with
the rest of them?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Put them away?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Hey, you are like now, I think the third SEC
defensive player taken a lot of Some of these guys,
including you, have been to more than one place. So
I apologize if I'm mixing this up, But what experience
do you have with with Nick Scorting if any? I

(00:56):
guess thinking more about Princely and and just wasn't mean
to have all these CEC defensive guys in this front
seven of this defense.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
You know it means a lot because you know them
guys who one of them I, you know, I played
with for a year. The other one I played against,
but I believe he was at the Singer Bowl with me,
if I ain't mistaken. So just you know, bringing in
and talent to Carolina and just coming in and work
and helping his organization win.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Were there many guys that you ran into over the
course of your career that were bigger than you.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Not not too many.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I think the only guy really ran into was probably
my defense a lot my teammate did in Watchington.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
He was probably the only only guy who really just
made me look small.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
He got the ball a couple of times, right.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yeah, yeah, he ran against Tulane last season.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
You never got you never got the ball.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Nah.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Nah, thank you, Cam, Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Sir, hey Cam.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Mike K from the Charlotte Observer, congratulations, says to meet you.
I mean being teammates with you know, both you know,
ETN and Princely at UF. How cool is it that
you'll have guys that you know relatively well coming into
a new place, you.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Know, right off the bat.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
I'm just excited to you know, be in a building
with them, guys. I was absolutely just talking to my
family about that. I'm excited to, you know, get the
reunite with Presley and travel again. And I know we're
gonna come in and work and you know, compete with
each other, and like I said, just coming in to
help help this Panther organization and just trying to you know,
get this team you know far. But like I said,

(02:48):
coming in to work and just ready and just decided
to be with them guys and get ready for a
recommending count.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
With this nil atmosphere, a lot of guys are transferring
and making professional decisions. How did going from Memphis to
Florida prepare you for the next level? Going into a
new locker room, going in with new coaches and a
new scheme and all that stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
So you know, going in, like you said, going in
from Memphis and transferring to SEC is two is totally
two different atmospheres for sure. And I feel like, you know,
when I transferred to Florida, just you know, them guys,
they was locked in. Just you know, they they took
it serious for sure, and I knew they wanted to

(03:31):
change their organization around there, and we just had a
bonding relationship and everybody just trusted each other.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
All right, we will go to Alex.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Hey, what's up, Cam? This is Alex ze Low with
the Charlotte Observer as well. Congratulations. So just curious, like,
even growing up, were you always the biggest guy on
the football field?

Speaker 3 (03:59):
I stay probably around the time I got to junior
high high school, I was smaller than the league.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
So yeah, yeah, I wasn't just.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Always the big guy until I got to like junior
high probably by middle school.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Oh nice, what what position were you playing in the
in the youth leagues?

Speaker 3 (04:18):
I'll playing defense in okay, yeah, I was still playing defense.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Okay. Nice.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
She'd been a defensive end, defensive guy your whole life.
That's really cool. I mean I've asked us a couple
of times to a different a bunch of players. But
is there like a part of your game, a misconception
about your game perhaps that you want to prove differently
at the NFL level?

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Just want to, you know, keep improving on my past
or was this the thing that you know I always
say I want to work on So there'd be a
big thing just improving on that for sure.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
And then finally I remembered it while is uh fumbling
around in my head. Derek Brown is a an important
part of this defensive line. Was a pro bowler two
years ago. Uh, also an SEC defensive line guy from
back in the day. What do you do you know

(05:17):
about his game? What do you know about his game?
And how excited are you to play alongside him?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I'm very excited.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
I heard a lot of good things about him, so,
you know, just ready to go in and learn from
guys like him and the other and the other better
and delis and just read like I said, it's excited
to getting the building building and ready to work.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
Wonderful.

Speaker 6 (05:39):
Thanks man.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
All right, we will move over to Cassidy.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
Hey, Cam, how's it going? Hey?

Speaker 7 (05:45):
How you doing good? Congratulations appreciate. I wonder what today
has looked like for you.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
Did you kind of have an idea of.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
Where it would be and was or was it a surprise?
Like how was the day kind of unfolded just for
you personally?

Speaker 1 (05:59):
It was really a surprise for me.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
You know, it's just like like everybody else just sitting there,
you know, wain't.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
On your phone the ring and when they're wrong, I
answer immediately.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
So did you recognize the area code or did they
have to tell you who it was?

Speaker 3 (06:18):
I've seen Charlotte, North Carolina, so and then I just answered.
And when they said, you know, when they said they name,
I was.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
Like, Oh, had you met with the Panthers?

Speaker 6 (06:30):
Kind of through this draft process.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
I came on the top thirty visit out there.

Speaker 6 (06:36):
What were your impressions during that visit?

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I enjoyed the facility a lot.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
I enjoyed, you know me and with the coaches, just
learning from them.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
And then just last thing, tell me about your chain.
Who is that on the chain? Is that you?

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Oh? No, this is my cousin. This is my cousin
Jamashon and Jackson.

Speaker 6 (06:57):
Okay, why how did he make the chain?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
He had passed away in February past season? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (07:06):
Why was it important to you to have him on
your train?

Speaker 1 (07:10):
I say, just because you know, he'd been with me.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Through everything, and and I say he liked my guardian
names or so, you know, just watching over me as
I as I was going through this process.

Speaker 6 (07:24):
That's awesome.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
I'm sure he'd be proud today than you
