What happened on the play with Dreven and kind.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Of what happened afterwards to just football play. You know,
he's playing hard. You know, that's what coach preaches, so
you know, nothing to be mad about. It's just football.
So obviously a lot of emotions in it. But he's
playing hard and that's what we need. So I love it.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Like you're seeing bad at the time, I mean no,
I mean football is all about emotions.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Obviously I got hit reacted a certain way, but like
I said, he's playing hard and I can't be mad
about that. It seems like you guys were more focused
obviously in the run today because you had the pads on.
What did you see from the other running back since
you were kind of like waiting in between raps. Yeah,
I mean everybody's running hard, a lot of good balance,

low pads, physical running, and that's what we need. That's
what we preach every day. So to see the young
guys you know, follow follow suit.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Uh, it was good. This is hot A practice the
last couple of days is definitely I know you been
to Spartan Bert two, but how would you rate this?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
In all honesty, I don't really think about the heat,
whether it's hot or cold. I just go out to
practice trying to get ready for the season, and it's
a lot hotter than this. So uh yeah, it was
honestly a nice breeze today. Head right here, Yeah, damn,
I'm on here. I don't caromel with an eggnog. Probably

from that play, I didn't even I'm not evenna lie
to even notice. Usually Tommy would have been telling jokes.
I didn't even notice.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Speaking of Tommy, how's he doing? We see him running
rounds a little bit, staying out here. You don't you
guys want now? He's good?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I mean to see him kind of start to progress
and get back back to where he needs to be. Obviously,
that's my guy. I need him on the field. So
to see him progress and really progress fast, it's good
to see. So hoping to have him back for the
start of the season.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
You know you were always in the vices. We're all
interesting that you liked here last year. What did you
do about coming out the other side? And when he finished?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I mean, everything Bryce has shown and Ben, I kind
of feel like I already knew and saw from a
from the beginning, So maybe it's new to you. Guys,
But I feel like he's been resilient, he's been tough,
he's been a leader since the beginning. So to see
him just kind of flourish into who he needs to
be all a part of the plan.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
You.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I know you've said that it's football running the fall,
But where do you have said at all and that
he is going high or just you ended up on
the ground.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Nah.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
I mean at the end of the day, he's playing physical,
Like I said, playing fast. I don't think anybody's really
thinking about how you're gonna hit somebody. It's just tryna
make a place. So again, you know, I don't fault
anybody for playing hard. That's what I That's what I love.
So I'm not gonna lie react crazy sometimes I love football.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I'm emotional. So that's how it is. Did you guys
have a conversation.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Afterwards at all and you guess my Nah, I'll go
in there in the in the locker room.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Know it's all love. He knows that.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Though it comes to Ragio Dada in particular, how do
you kind of see his style complimenting.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Eros in front of back. Yeah, Rico is a great
guy on and off the field.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Uh. He runs hard, Uh, great at catching the ball,
great at doing damn near everything. So uh to be
able to have an have him in our room, Uh,
it's a blessing.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I mean, I feel like in our room, we got
a bunch of different styles, but at the end of
the day, I think we all run hard and kind
of run with the same intent in terms of uh
being physical and aggressive. So I think we'll compliment uh
each other very well. Did you? But could you tell
whether it was Ron or anybody else in line that
offensive line that those guys would particularly getting pads to

meet on people.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
And get them.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah, I mean I think this year everybody was eager
to get pads on offense and defense, and that kind of.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Shows the state of where our team's at right now.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Guys wanna play football, Guys wanna hit, Guys wanna be aggressive,
and that's what you want.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
So true with this off season and the bear's because
off out. Uh, you guys fansers big as offensive line.
Essentially one year that's successful. Friend, Was it remarkable of you?
And that's just how quickly that came together off the
front last year and then they brought the same guys
back in.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Yeah, I mean, I think they brought uh the right
guys in obviously last year, and we already had a
bunch of great guys here already, and I think just
building that chemistry throughout the throughout the season, working with
the guys, it just started to come together perfectly.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
And this year we're just looking to build off of that.
So yeah, that's great.
