Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hope On for the review.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
We just found out that you are a talker in
practice today in princelye tota is it's usually you and JC.
What are some of the things you were saying to
get understand to day out there? I probably should say
it on camera, just keep it on the field, But
it was definitely competitive.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
I love that type of stuff, so it's good race
Robs Hunt's dance moves to diffuse tension.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
I think our whole lineman and all those guys are
really good at diffuse attention, especially with me because I
can get ridd up. So yeah, Rob Rob's Hunt Rob's
dances definitely do it.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Suit.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
But this offseason, there's a lot of guys coming back
from all your starting offensive line your.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Self included Brice, so many receivers, and.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
For the first time in your career you have the
same head coach and offensive morning or going from back
to back years.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
How big is that continuity, just not only for the
offense but also for you.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, I mean, obviously the last four years I've been
here has been a new head coach, new skime, new system,
so to build off all at last year, which I
believe was really good and and to kind of build
off that chemistry. I mean, we see it out here,
just the way we're practicing, the way we trust each other,
the way we're communicating and starting to show. So just

(01:13):
the more we practice, the more we play. It's just
the closer we're gonna get in, the better we're gonna get.
It was a bendfull off season for Tommy, obviously, heights
and loves of everything.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
How's he How's he doing behind the scenes?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
He's good, I mean, obviously asked my guy. He would
have been out here catching with me per usual if
he could have. But just a bump in the road,
he'll he'll bounce back. We have, in my opinion, you know,
the best staff when it comes to training stuff like
that to take care of us. So he'll be back
by the season and be ready to go. You got
that values consistency a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
So what are the next five weeks look like for you?
I mean to do you rent your own drugs machine or.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I got me a drug machine at home? But no,
I mean, I'm gonna take me some time off. It's
my birthday, so a couple of days, but then after
that straight back to work.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
It's a big year. If you had the drugs machine
at home since my rookie year. You can take any
any more trips up to Edmonton.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Uh, yeah, I have a kids camp in July, so
I'm gonna go back and spend some time with my
family and.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Get back to the community a little bit goof he's
for the drug machine in your own That's a good question.
It really depends whoever's available, So anybody can.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Yeah, anybody, even my name Rats sometimes shout out to
my neighbor.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Do They'll think they're coming to relax and you have
my side j Yeah, exactly exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
And now I mean the way they're interacting without Tommy
out there, Yeah, I mean I think we have a
like all around the offense.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
We have great rooms just as a whole.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
So you know, Tommy obviously was a big leader, a
big part of that, but you know, next man up mentality,
the rest of the guys have to carry the load and.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
But do that until Tommy gets back.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
And yeah, I feel even the the younger guys, we
go out there doing a great job.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
So in every room, Uh, the leadership's doing the right job.
Have you see Xander's taking a bigger role leadership with
Tommy out.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Uh. I mean, everyone's a leader in their own ways,
and JT was even last year as a rookie.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I got a lot of respective for that.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
So you know, seeing him grow into himself and even
more into year two, it's excited.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
So I'm excited for him.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You've been in a similar situation that ETM comes into.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
As who's sorry ETN?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yeah, so you like to have you been trying to
kind of tick him under your wing up at all?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
And what have you horned abou him since he got here? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I mean, I just remember crazy how fast time flies
out where I was when I was a rookie and
I was like years behind some of these guys. I
was telling him, like I felt like I was all
over the place at tom So he's done a really
good job, asked a lot of questions.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
He is a really good kid, works hard.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
And you know this guy's limit for him, So just
kind of continue to help him out anyway I can.
Everybody in the running back knows, and everybody in the
running back room knows I'm I'm an outlet.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
So whatever you need, I got you. What's the relationship
like with Dowbell and what have you seen so far. Now,
Rico's my dog.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I mean before he well, right when he signed at
IT we actually trained with the same R and B
guy and stuff in the off season, so we connected
that way. But I mean, he's cool, he's he's a
cool guy in all honesty. Usually in the running back
room sometimes it can be a little off, but everyone's
cool in our room, and that's a blessing.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Uh, I don't take that for granted. So did we
spend the reception? When you go back home, especially now
that you're finding your own in your career, how are
you received? Uh? Yeah, I mean they loved me back home.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
They take care of me to say they Uh, they
show love and I appreciate it. I try to show
love back anytime I can by representing them the best
I can.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
So yeah, I'm thankful for where I'm.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
From, no doubt anything crazy all that raised on the reception,
But I was just curious, are you feeling it just
as you're growing in your.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Career, how much of an impact they may have on
the kids back at home. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
I mean to even think that when I was a kid,
I don't even really know anybody that was in the
league that I really kind of looked up to like that.
So now for me to be in the league as
well as a bunch of other guys and you know,
lead that example and kids like Okay can actually do this.
Especially being from Canada, I hold that high.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
You're an admitted trash talker. You're seeing more of that
from Bryce. How would you describe Bryce's trash talkers?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Uh, that's a that's a good question. I mean just
trash talk. I mean trash talks, trash talk. I don't
know how to say. Some stuff is a little corny, Yeah,
I mean some some trash talk gonna be corny at times.
I mean, I'm sure that ship I say that's corny
all the time. But I'm just passionate. I love the game.

(05:31):
We all do it as long as we're competing. I
think that's all that masters.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
That's something new you've seen from him? Is that or
is that just a sided thing that we haven't seen? Is?
I think that's just honestly aside, y'all haven't seen.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I think a lot of people just misconscrewed on how
kind of Bryce works. Obviously it's cool, calm, collected, but
he's a competitor at the end of the day, and
he give piece with a peace with us every day.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
And uh, y'all just got cameras out here now
