Speaker 1 (00:00):
Upon further review, she.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
She saw you and like Jack over by the quarterbacks
pretty early, Price kind of indicated like niggas at want really.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Trashed out that kind without a stuff and start practicing.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yeah, yeah, trying to get in their head a little bit.
It was was catching the ball, uh where they was
warming up so they can get used to throwing into us.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
So yeah, it was, yeah, it was. It was a fun,
little fun, little warm up.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Price asked us about our off season, but became a
father during the off season.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Tell us about that you had your first Father's Day. Yeah,
it was the best thing in the world. Best thing
in the world.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I tell people out like growing up, I always like
thought being drafted or going into the NFL or NBA
would be like the best feeling. But you know, I
first helped my baby. That was that was the best
feeling in the world. And yeah, it's just fun to
go home every day to her and she a smiling
face and yeah, just make make life a lot better.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
That could have changed you when any anyway.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Uh not really show give me a little different perspective
on life. I'm on things, that's what's really important, and
just trying to you know, lead leading the right footsteps
for her, and uh give her a good example.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Just sleeping, well, get a lot of sleep with her.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Yeah, yeah, my my girl should She'll take her to
the guest room so she ain't waking me up all
through the night. She know I gotta get up early.
So yeah, I've been getting some good sleep.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Saw Corey Thornton rot it in there by Jack a
couple of times. You around. What have you seen from him?
And it was only day one trade and kept her
going back to the off season out on line. Really
just consistency.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
You know, Corey came into OTAs and you know, did
a good job the whole camp. He came back and
that's that's what he earned, just just the right to
get in there and mix it in with the ones
he I think he did a good job today too.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
You know, we gonna go back and watch the film.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
But but Corey just been real consistent in his technique
and his preparation and and I think he's gonna be
a good player for us.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
So the Canal said earlier that y'all would be a
team that nobody wanted to play.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Uh soon, what do you think about that? Yeah, I'm
right on board with him.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
You know, that's just mentality how this team is gonna
be branded, you know, a physical football team where when
lose a draw, you know, like when you go in
there and see the Panthers, it's gonna be a physical
football game. You gonna be hurting afterwards. And that's just
the attitude we gotta have. And that's gotta be our
brand of football when we go when we travel and play.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Jay s what youre telling team ack like you're waiting
on the catch?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
What's that trash talk? Construction the bow.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Making me look bad? Nah? Nah, just a little fun
trash talk, little fun trash talk? How old of it?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
How motivated you guys as a defense just to flip
the narrative, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Or race the stats to see out there about the
defense off or the worse than league last year? Yeah,
super motivated.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
You know anytime you you attach to that defense, you know,
I tell the guys all the time, gotta you gotta
take that personal, like even when we're out here having
fun talking trash like last year was last year, but
you know, we still on the wrong side of history,
and we gotta.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Have that in the back of our mind every day.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
And uh, prep the right way, so we can come
back this year and put good stuff on tape.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
How let the money make that kind of playing off
the range of there that you've talked about, you know
how good he is as a communicator.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
What's impressed you the most about his growth bet into
your two Uh?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Well just what you said, the communication, playing the butt
of aces and those uh cause it's it's hard for
a lot of young.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Guys to do that.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
They just try to do exactly what the coach say
so they don't get in trouble. But the money, you know,
he he came out to SEC, so you know I
expected him to, you know, be a high level player
and he turned into just that, communicating at a high level, uh,
making plays and I think he just gonna get better
and better.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Good below was that yesterday to learn about Josey?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Yeah, man, first, it just it just hurt as a
person just see him go through that. You know, I
didn't really even think about the football side of it immediately.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Uh later on in the day I.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Did because he a hell of a player, but just
as a person, he he a great guy and you
want you want him to be okay, So you know,
we just sending prayers up for him and you know
he gonna come back strong.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Chris and just told us.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
He was wearing the green dot today. Early impressions of him.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Uh, I mean he went smooth today.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I mean I don't watch the linebackers too much, but
we're not in past yet so you can't really feel them.
But the communication and stuff in the huddle was was
a winning I feel like, uh, everybody got to call
around the defense and we played fast.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
You see, it's the are you coming into this camp
with the most consistentencies you've had since being in the
NFL se Is this the most consistency you've had across
the team coming into your camp?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah? Yeah for sure.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
For myself, just coming off a year where I I
I finished pretty much healthy, getting the full off season
to train and rehab, and then with the c same
coaching staff being back on the defensive side of the
ball and getting coach canale Is back. You know, it's
a lot of consistency and I feel like, you know,
we got a program now and uh, we understand what
we're here to do.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
You talk about you were able to stay healthy last
year and you had kind of changed things last off season.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Canind of be able to get to that spot.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
You maybe they tweets as far as just your recovery
of this offseason to make sure you can maintained.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
A yeah, I mean I went back to the same
training facility and tried to do the same exact thing.
You know, we did some of the same workouts. Just
tried to stay with the same program, cause it worked
for me.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
If you enjoyed dance like today, are you interesting to
get the pass background?

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Like, uh, I'm a corner, so even with the pass
on it don't it don't change much for me, Like
we can't we can't tackle or anything even when we
have past on, so we gotta cover anyway. But yeah,
I'm I'm excited to get it on, just to it'll
make the energy of practice go up a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Just seeing different about it the same year. What time?
What do you see it different about it the same year? Oh?

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Just more confident, you know always going into year two,
you got a little more confidence. You you understand what
you know your coach is looking for. You understand how
the NFL game is played, cause it's it's so different
from college. So just seeing him practice fast is is
the main thing I see from him, and I'm excited
to see him.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Year two. Got a program. Now, just from your point
of view.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
A certain difference between having a team and having an
established program.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah yeah, I mean, now guys know what, you know
what what coach is expected. You're not learning a whole
new like it's the same language and the meetings, same
same practice schedule, same camp schedule.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Like you kind of used to it.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
So now you could just focus on the football part
and getting better each and every day.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Franchise that kind of needed some stability, like to have
an off season where there's no GM change, no coaching change,
no quarterback change.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Yeah, I mean, it's it's good in anything you do
when you got you know, stability and you got the
program that you you're working and running.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
So yeah, we definitely needed that botch in your car
back at that meaning camp.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
So you gotta come see it, bro, You gotta come
see you gotta come to the parking lot, parking lot.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Come back there, y'all. See it is the coldest one
in the parking lot. Y'all know which one it is? Good? Good,
appreciate y'all.
