Speaker 1 (00:00):
A pun for the review.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
They're saying that it's actually pretty cool for Houston in
the summer. Uh, what was it like playing the season?

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Man? It felt good.

Speaker 4 (00:13):
It wasn't too bad to me, you know, the community
was a little more, but other than that, it felt
pretty good out there.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
So what'd you see from the Deft today? Man? I
saw a lot of energy.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
This guy's flying around the ball, being physical, took the
ball away a couple of times. So I thought we
had great energy coming out here and had a good practice.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
You had quite a hit down there.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
I don't remember who it was against, but I mean
it spool to I guess it's just stood. But I mean,
what were you thinking with that? I don't know. I can't.
I can't really speak on that. I would I would
just go on playing football, you know.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
That's that's really what it comes down to, just trying
to be physical and make the place, you know, when
they come our way.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
So okay, sorry say it again.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
How hard is it to balance that?

Speaker 3 (00:54):
You don't want to? For me, it's really just going
a hundred percent.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I mean, uh, I'm not really trying to think, you know,
pull back or you know, I'm just trying to play ball,
you know, and just keep my my mental clear and
just do what I know how to do and you know,
deal with whatever happens afterwards.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
So a lots of been made a the safety position,
and how much change there's been in that room.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
How is do the communication between you relation Demani and
Nick and.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
The constant changing in the back area, It's been very smooth.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
I'd say.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
We we go in the room and come to practice
every day just talking, ready to get better. And uh,
you know, off the field we're able to connect to
you know, just outside of football. So our relationship is
all really good. We're all really tight, so you know,
I think that plays an important role in that as well.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
This is two weeks now, you like, sorry, go ahead,
what happened?

Speaker 4 (01:42):
You think? This is two weeks and we're now you
play with kind of.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
See thet hoose against another team?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yup?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
I don't know, like ce James Aboud kind.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Of move the ball there in the two minutes and
the end.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
What do you know about this DPS now that you
did in the two positions?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Ah? Man, that's hard to say.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I think we're just constantly improving every time we turn
on the film and you know, going gainst the Browns
and then coming here. I think we're just always improving,
getting better. And obviously there'll there'll be stuff to to
look at the tape and get better at. But uh,
like I said earlier, I like the energy and I
like our passion that we come out here with.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
So it does seem like Trayvon, I ask you this,
we a get a little teams seem like less skinny
at us now, like in a in an effort to
keep guys healthy, get your work. I mean, is part
of you like kind of the days back or a
little bit more solid.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
No, My my coach uh a couple of years ago,
he always told me that you know that that comes
with the work, that comes with the game. So you know,
when when things like that happen, you can't you can't flinch,
you can't.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Be sorry about it because that's the nature of of football.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
So that's kind of my approach towards it, you know,
like I said, I'll deal with whatever happens afterwards, with
what that would be.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
You surprised there wasn't. I mean there was a reaction
by them, but not crazy.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I didn't see anyone to swing.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
It yet I don't. I didn't think that would so,
I I mean, I wasn't too worried about it.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
You know, I got my boys behind me too, so
I wasn't too stressed about it.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
What is it like playing I know this is your
first time you see any different, Like, what was it
like playing behind the bad and that stuff?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
The kind of the what they do for y'all?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Yeah, lat yeah, man. They they put pressure on that quarterback,
so it makes you know, the lives of the dbs
on the back and easier, you know, having having pressure,
you know, you know, uh, messing with his accuracy, messing
up the timing. That all plays a big role into
into how dbats and covering and do that kind of stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
So how important to go against the guy like c
J just had the success, you know, one of the
better quarterbacks in this league.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Se set up was how important to get that work? No,
there's always great work.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
I think anytime you can go up against the other
team in practice, it's always gonna be great work, cause
it's not something you see, you know, every day when
you're going against your own team.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
So to have a guy like that.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
He's very good, like you said, and uh, you know,
we'll have some things to look at the tape and
get better at.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
But it was good competing against him. Uh.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
With that said to you, you can go to we
can see Andy send the TCU buddy. How does he
make your guys job easier to like comprehend it just
because of his experience and where's.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Yeah, he's like you said, he's a vetman.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
So anytime we can go and pick his brain, ask
him questions, you know, he provides those answers that you know,
if that would know, he'll come, you know, grab you
on the side and just be like this is what
I'm thinking, or vice versa. So he's always been real
good with that and very open with communications.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
So this hot by Texas standards.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Or I thought it felt pretty good. I mean I'm
been hearing you know. It was a little hot, but
I felt I felt pretty good out there.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
So yeah, not yet, not yet, not yet.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
I gotta get on it. I gotta get on it.
I gotta get it. It's time, all right, all right,
I got you. Next time, I gotta

Speaker 2 (04:50):
