Speaker 1 (00:00):
Upon further review.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Sorry about your new old teammate.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Definitely man president and my brother always will be. And
he kind of just kind of took me under his wing,
you know, show me the way of college football, you know,
show me how to you know, take care of your body,
the little things, how to do the little things.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Man. I'm just excited to be able to work with
him again.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Hey, thanks a lot, Good luck.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Sir, Thank you.

Speaker 5 (00:27):
Hey, Trevor mike Ky from the Charlotte Observer, Nice to
meet you. Congrats. How did you you know, obviously having
a brother who's gone through this experience and done everything
like that, what was like the best advice he gave
you during this kind of process and what have you
learned about the NFL from him?

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Man?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Just enjoy it, you know. Just he always told me,
don't try to leave a legacy, live a legacy. And
that's something he's told me in high school and you know,
I carry it through life. And what I've learned from
him is is how much you know, you have to
become a pro, how much you have to like really
you know, lock in and become a student of the
game and just take care of your body.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
And so it's I learned so much.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Man, It's where words can explain it.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Was he was he able to celebrate with you today?

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Oh yes, sir, he's here.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Oh awesome.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
And then I guess you know, now in this whole
nil like phase, guys are getting opportunities to go to
different teams. I'm just curious, how did going from Florida
to Georgia prepare you for entering into locker room and
a new system and everything for the NFL level.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I mean two man, after like both of the two
of the best programs there is to play college football at.
You know, I learned a lot from both and I'm
thankful to be to be able to play in both
of those programs. And you know, the biggest thing I
learned from those programs is you know, football. Really, they
both schools and both staff showed me what it takes
to to be able to play at this next level,
and they prepared me since they want to be able

(01:59):
to come in, you know, give them all.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
All right, we will go to Joe followed by Alex.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Hey, Trevor, excuse me, congrats and good to see you.
Wondering what your preacher aft meetings like, what sort of
interactions did you have with the Panthers leading to this moment?

Speaker 4 (02:23):
I love it, you know, love it.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
D We had great conversations, you know, rnymous Green conversations
with a lot of teams.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Man.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
But you know, I'm just excited for the opportunity, you know,
blessed to be in this position and can't wait to
get to work.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Did you where I get where? Did you meet.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
With with the Panthers at the combine?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Nice? Nice?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
And has there been any conversation yet about sort of
your what your role might be here in Charlotte?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Man, I'm just taking you no, day by day, just
you know, you enjoy this moment, you know, I can't wait.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
I'm excited, super pumped.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Hey, you're breaking it, You're okay? Hey, one more from me?

Speaker 2 (03:03):
You had some return experience at Florida and.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Can you repeat the question? I couldn't hear you for sure?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Can you hear me now?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yes, sir, cool you had return experience at Florida and
caught a good bit of passes last year in appen
are those two parts of.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Your game that you know?

Speaker 2 (03:27):
You think that versatility can help you get on the
field early.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I mean, whatever the team needs, you know, whatever it takes.
You know, I'm wanting to do, you know, anything to
help the team, help the Pendents organization, help my team
in any way that I can't Thank you.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
Hi, Trevor Alex Zetlo with the Charlotte Observer as well.
I am also going to ask about return your return game,
so hopefully the zoom isn't allergic to return questions?

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Do you so?

Speaker 6 (03:56):
Are you aware of the how aware are you of
the you NFL kickoff rule? And like, I don't know,
have you studied it at all?

Speaker 4 (04:06):
What do you think about it? I mean, I think
it's great for the game. You know, it helps in
many different ways.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
But you know, just to really answer your question, man,
like I said, any any way that I can help
you know, I'm willing to do it.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Yeah. Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
Is is there something in particular about being a running
back that helps you as being a returner, I mean
as opposed to being a wide receiver or whatever in
your in your perspective, like, does your running back background
give you an edge?

Speaker 3 (04:38):
I mean I feel like it kind of can help
you see like see the field, but I mean it
it's all based on the player. Honestly, you know, no
returning That's something I've been doing, you know, since I
can remember. So it's you know, it's something I enjoy doing.
And you know, if I get the opportunity to, I'll be,
you know, more than willing to.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (04:59):
And then so the Panthers have chosen three guys from
the SEC of their five picks. I know it's been
long said that the SEC is the best conference in
college football?

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Do you agree?

Speaker 6 (05:13):
Do you agree with that that the SEC is the
best conference in college football?

Speaker 3 (05:17):
I mean definitely, Man. I I played in the SEC,
so you know, I love the conference. I feel like
it's the closest to the to the NFL you can get.
You know, you have guys like Princevily. Man, I've watched
Princevily hit twenty miles pow on the catapult, you know,
playing edge. You know, it's just crazy because man, the
talent level is is you know, it's it's slim.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
You know, it's not much room for error.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
Awesome, thanks man, Yes.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Sir, any other questions for Trevor?

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, I'll ask another one. So you have the experience
with Prince Leave, man, do you think some teams might
have slept on him a little bit in this draft.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Mean, I feel like everyone that's in this draft is blessed,
you know, to be in this draft, honestly, So I
feel like it's a fit you know where wherever the teams,
you know, feel like you fit with their with their
programs where you're going to get picked.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
And I won't say teams slept on him, but I.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Do believe that he he's one of the best ed
russers in this in this draft.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
And I don't know he was only And did did
you guys play A and M last year?

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Did you have a run into Nick Gordon?

Speaker 3 (06:27):
So we didn't, But I've been knowing Nick for a while.
I've been knowing Nick.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
For a while. Yeah, how do you know him? And
what can you tell us about his game?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
So we met him at a camp in high school
and been like, for instance then and man, the one
thing I've noticed about him is he's a hard worker.
He comes in though we trained together for the draft. Also,
you know he came there, doesn't complain someone.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
That's gonna give it at all.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Where did you train?

Speaker 4 (06:55):
We trained that in Dallas at Axos.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Awesome.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Thanks listen, all right, and we will finish off with
Mike Key and David Newton.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
Hey, Trevor, I'm back question for you. How often did
you have to practice against Princely and past pro and
what is that like as a running back who might
have to chip or you know, take on a block.
I gets a guy like that with that speed and power.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I mean, man, it gets you ready.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You know iron Tarpor's iron and being able to GoGet
someone you know they caliber and it just made me better.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
You know.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
I was excited going against Princeville every day and we
talked so much noise to each other, and I said,
and I'm excited to get to work with him again.

Speaker 7 (07:35):
Hey Trevor, David ESPN dot com. I'm sorry about the
eloys of the room I'm in. You mentioned you have
a relationship with Princeley and.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Scarleton.

Speaker 7 (07:48):
What what characteristic you feel like the three of you
guys all share that will make you successful in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Man, We're passionate. We love the game. I feel like
we don't just love it, We're in love with it
