Speaker 1 (00:18):
Hey, what's going on? This is the Vikings postgame report
powered by Luman from lambeau Field. It's Paul Allen with
Pete Versich Qorter. Battle one thirty goes the way of
the green Bay Packers. They beat the Minnesota Vikings twenty
three to six. Now you hear the number six and
you either think touchdown and missed extra point or two
field goals. That really was the biggest highlight for the

(00:39):
Vikings today. Will Reiker hitting a couple of field goals,
including one from fifty nine. Both makes were beyond fifty yards,
which means he passed Greg Joseph for the second most
makes of fifty plus and Vikings history still trailing Blair Walsh.
Outside of that, a bunch of turnovers mistackles at the
end of the game. The Vikings have lost three consecutive.

(01:00):
Green Bay improved to seven to three and one.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah, and this is this is the most one sided
loss that we've seen out of the Vikings the entire year.
And I mean you look at the numbers, not much better.
One hundred and forty five total net yards. We had
some success running the football early. You know, you get
some points on the opening drive with the field goal,
but after that, you know, we didn't lead the rest

(01:24):
of the way. And for green Bay, you know, without
Josh Jacobs, they were very, i think very conservative offensively.
Nothing really transpired there and so you know, at no
point where the Vikings threatening or any of that. And
then unfortunately got back to what got us here, right,

(01:48):
and that's interception or turnovers to start, and then interceptions
because the muff punt is really what put green Bay
kind of over the top, and we didn't really respond
after that. It's very disheartening to finally see the offensive
line together for the first half of a football game
and by the end of it you've got Brandell and

(02:09):
school back in there on the left side. There's not
a not a lot to point to right now for
Viking fans, but that's just the way it is. That's life,
and you're gonna have to find a way because they're
not going to cancel the rest of the season. You
got to find a way to turn this thing around.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
And when Pete says muffed punt, I guess that's one
way to put it, but that really turned the whole
thing around. And as unacceptable as people may think it
is to like you know, have your defense and offense
impacted by a bad special teams play. At Miles Price
let a ball sail over his head. It was bouncing
at about the five. For whatever the reason, he decided

(02:46):
to run by the ball he glanced off him. Green
Bay recovered it. Two plays later, Emmanuel Wilson scored his
second rushing touchdown that made it seventeen to six, and
just everything changed off that. I mean, Dobbers were down,
but we're getting hurt. McCarthy threw two interceptions, So for
the fourth time this year, JJ McCarthy has had a

(03:07):
two interception at least two interceptions in a game.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah, and that and that trend is that's it's a
disturbing trend. One you can you can say is not
really on him or Seuan Gary hit his arm as
he was throwing it and the ball kind of deflected
out and Isaiah McDuffie made a really nice play the
other one. Yeah, I mean he's trying to hit Jalen
Naylor up the seam. Uh throw it a little bit
too far to the backside, and Evan Williams is able
to step up and intercept that pass. So yeah, Paul

(03:34):
just not a lot to point to, outside of maybe
the running game early and us wanting to run the football,
especially on second down. We had some great plays, but man,
it's uh, this one's a real head scratcher. Coming out
of coming out of Green Bay.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Man Jefferson has now gone six consecutive games without at
least one hundred yards. That's absolutely the longest stretch of
his career.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Uh can.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Conspicuously and curiously, Jalen Naylor and or Jordan Addison, neither
of those guys had receptions today. Now, the Vikings only
threw it nineteen times, but Naylor and Addison are legit
threats and neither one got to catch.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah, and that's another question that you have kind of
coming away from this one, is you know, Keishawn Nixon
goes out with an injury early in this football game,
Kmal Hadden fills in a guy who's a first year
guy out of Tennessee. Right, you figured at some point
you'd want to test them. And then you have the
speed in Jalen Naylor and the speed and rock running
ability of a Jordan Addison, But yet we never really

(04:38):
won after it, Right, you never really tested it. Now
you could say, well, protection isn't holding up or it
can't hold up. I mean green Bay didn't have the
Blitz today. I would love to go back and see
out of the five sacks I believe that they ended
up having, I don't know if any of them came
off of Blitzer's Paul. I think it was four man
rushing for really the entire time, and so you could say, hey,

(05:01):
you know, Kamal Hadden's out there, throw the football. But
then you're like, hey, we got we gotta protect the quarterback.
And it's that's where the coaching is. It gets difficult
because it's just what the problem is, and you just
keep going back and back and back and back, and
you got to figure out what the fix first.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
In a game that was nearly statistically even at halftime, well,
green Bay ended up with twenty two first downs compared
to ten for Minnesota. Green Bay at two hundred and
eighty eight total yards. The Vikings finished with one for five.
Emmanuel Wilson had career highs filling in for Josh Jacobs
by the way, who was inactive. Emmanuel Wilson career high

(05:41):
with attempts yards, scrimmage yards, and his first two touchdown
game Emmanuel had himself a nice day, but man, everything
just fell apart in the second half for the Minnesota Vikings.
And quickly before we hear from Kevin O'Connell, the analyst
mentioned green Bay wasn't blitzing, so they would have a
four man rush, but Michael Parsons generally would be part

(06:05):
of it, either from the middle or from the edges.
He had two sacks. So Michael Parsons, now in his
eleventh game with the Green Bay Packers, has ten sacks.
And you can just tell when they have a lead
and it's third and long and number one Michael Parsons,
as they say, gets to pin his ears back. Holy cow,
is he a Handfuah.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
He is a handful, and he plays hard and he
was a big get for the Packers. They sacrificed quite
a bit to get him here, to trade for him,
and he's really paid off for him thus far.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Let's hear from Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell, who
now is four and three all time against the Green
Bay Packers.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
I told their team, we you know, after we'll made
that field goal. We go in at the half ten
to six, pretty even time of possession even in the
turnover battle, whole half ahead of us. And then we
did not play in any way, shape or form the
type of half we that would give us a chance
to compete in the second half. Uh two turnovers and

(07:05):
three punts on offense, and then defense got the stop
that we kind of talked about at halftime, Hey, getting
us getting going.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
They got that stop to start the.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
Second half, and then we had a you know, that
was pretty catastrophic turnover to to give them a free
chance at seven points. So you're not gonna come to
lambeau Field and win a game, especially playing like that
in the second half, and absolutely not you know, in
any way, shape or form giving ourselves a chance to
win the football game. Just injury updates, Christian Darsa had

(07:36):
an ankle that he tried to play through and eventually
we he came out of the game. Donovan Jackson, I believe,
also had an ankle on a foot and was trying
to come back in the game, but the trainers thought
it would be best UH to to hold him out
as well. And then Mittelis had a shoulder but was
battling through that and able to return. Turn it over

(08:03):
to you guys in the second half.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
How difficult is it right now trying to call that
you think JJ can perform.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
And just keep the offense. Yeah, I think.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
You know, there's there's things that by running the football
pretty efficiently in the first half, you know, you think
you might might be able to get some place off
of plays.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
To to generate some uh some you know, explosives.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
But at the same time, we wanted to come back
out and run the football, and we had you know,
a negative run, you know, have to get get Jordan
down there, give him a chance to get down there
to to you know, get that buzz safety on a
negative run called the quick game to start the half,
you know, trying to see if we can just get
a completion play to get it going, and we took
a sack on that play and then had to you know,

(08:55):
back to back negatives are very very hard to overcome,
especially against that group when you end up third and twelve,
third and fifteen, third and seventeen whatever. We were not
the formula in any way shape or form tried to
you know, I thought we did a good job committing
to the run early on in the game. You know,
stack some plays on plays and started to feel kind

(09:17):
of what, you know, what that can do for you
along the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
But then we get to a.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
You know, after running the ball pretty well consistent on
a drive, we get to a third and third and
inside one and don't get it on the sneak. You
know that we practiced a lot, and then don't get
it on fourth down, end up going backwards. Really, so,
no matter what you do running the football wise, if
you can't continue to get those new sets of downs,
we've got to then have the marriage of the run

(09:43):
in the past, you know, try to come to life.
And there were some chances I thought, you know, JJ
got tripped up coming out of center one time where
you know, we had a good look for a play
and there was just a bunch of little things like that.
Our margin of error is clearly pretty razor thin right now.
But what we can't do is lose the turnover battle
three to nothing, significantly lose the field position battle, and

(10:05):
then have negative plays on offense that gives you really
no chance against one of the better defenses in the league.
But you know, as as as our guys know, and
you know already hearing uh, you know, just the players
in the locker room and they want to go back
to work and and all and and and and fix it,
and us as a coaching staff, we've got to give
them the best possible plan to do that. We've got

(10:28):
to have some things corrected that are you know, proving
to be somewhat fatal in certain areas of our team
right now, you know, well beyond just you know, having
a young quarterback in there. So that's my job, and
I've got to do the things that that you know,
we think will fix some of those problems.

Speaker 6 (10:48):
Stakes three weeks in rowing out pretty big ones. What
do you need to do to get those things cleaned up?

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Yeah, we've got some you know, we've got some rookies.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Part of that part of that phase where you know,
to a certain you kind of know there's going to
be some variants to that. But at the same time,
you know, it's just what are we doing as coaches?
What are we doing, you know, to emphasize how to
play smart football?

Speaker 3 (11:10):
You know as the starting point. And you know, on
that play, I know what Miles is trying to do.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
He's trying to fair catch and then you know, see
if he can get a piece of the gunner to
try to help the ball have time to get in
the end zone. But first and foremost, you know, we've
got to be able to make the initial play, which
was the decision not to catch that ball, and then
we've got to get all Minnesota vikings away from it.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
And if they end up downing it, you know.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
Like we were able to do a couple of times
with Ryan having a great day putting the ball to
try to help with the field position. But if if
they end up downing it down in their tight then
it's on the offense to try to sustain a drive
and at least flip the field field position wise.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
But yeah, we've got to get some of those things handled.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
What do you think JJ is just in terms of
handling this, because this is a couple of weeks that
it really seemed like it's snowballing.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Yeah, I think, first of all, yeah, the formula cannot
be to you know, end up being down double digits
in the in the second half and at least you know,
knowing where you know, it kind of takes you out
of the game that you want to play. When you're
in coming into halftime ten six, you know, thinking a

(12:16):
defensive stop and then you know, having a chance to
go possibly take the lead there in the third quarter,
and then the game can kind of stay.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Where where you want it, whether where we're.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
Really close in the first half time of possession, we're
really close, you know, yards and able to kind of
every single one of those positive run plays should hopefully
be setting up either another positive run or some plays
off of it. And we just can't quite get to
that point without having some you know, some things happening
around JJ or you know, some variants of having a

(12:49):
young quarterback in there where and when you're playing a
good defense and and just understanding timing of pockets and
things like that, getting the ball out, the power of
completions where it's still definitely work in progress for sure,
but I still believe, you know, he's he's absolutely under control.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
From a play call standpoint.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
There's little things you know that happen, like a quarterback
getting tripped up, you know, on a play pass where.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Where you might have a look at something, or you.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Know, just maybe the dialogue and the huddle making sure
all eleven are on the same pagers. Little things that
come up here and there that just continue to limit
your chances of having ultimate success enough against a good
defense to go put points on the board. But it
is one of those things where I do believe wholeheartedly that,
you know, it takes a driver too of confidence building

(13:37):
to to truly cement kind of what we want to
be as an offense and moving the boat. Running the
ball is great. And got a play pass to justin
early and ended up kind of stalling out from.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
There, or where you know, we call, you know, call a.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
Pass on first and ten and then kind of run
play on second down with the chance to you know,
throw that run solution and it's not really the look
to do that. And early in the game, young quarterback
maybe once try to get an easy completion and we
throw that ball. And it's just little things like that
where uh, you know, I got to do a better
job kind of limitating eliminating some of those things that

(14:11):
you know, maybe can can be left for chance. I
appreciate it's not just the quarterback obviously it's yam, But.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Can you can you win with what he's doing right now?
I think you can.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
I do believe that, But it does require, you know,
as a football team not doing things that that that
loses games and special teams turnover I believe in you know,
two out of our last three games. And then ultimately,
you know, the defense is out there battling, they're they're

(14:41):
they're trying to get the ball back for us as
much as we can. But then there's you know, some
things where you can't have breakdowns around that player to
consistently sustain. So as of as some of those things
happen or you start stacking negatives, that becomes incredibly difficult
for any quarterback never mind, Uh, you know, a guy
just still in a single digit world of career starts.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
And and all that.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
So you got to keep putting together plans that give
us a chance to express what we want to be
as an offense with some some.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Talented players in that huddle, while also.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Giving him a chance to grow, but but not you know,
putting the game totally in his hands, where you know,
the variants of a young quarterback will cost our whole team.
And I think there's a there's a needle to thread there,
and uh, we got to just keep on building the
foundation of playing the position, but also all eleven guys
in that huddle doing their jobs, and and then special

(15:36):
teams has got to play the phase where I thought
will unbelievable with those two field goals, and those are
the types of plays where, you know, or drives where
if you you get points there, you got to you're
staying in the football game, staying in real football without
having to go all pass likely against a team with
that kind of front.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
Surprised of just the amount of pressure they were generating
up front.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
Yeah, you know, we we we had a pretty good
plan even you know, I know JJ's first interception. You know,
there's there's two tight ends, you know, helping on the edges.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
And I gotta go back and look at it.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
But didn't particularly feel like we were, like, you know,
that was I believe one of the the first few
attempts for you know, with with Justin stepping in there
for CD at left tackle, and we're trying to help
as much as we can on the edge. But I
gotta the general the general feel sometimes is are we
using that help? Are we you know fundamentally jumping on
you know, right off that and jumping on that player

(16:27):
right off those those bumps and those protections, because outside
of you know, call the call them plays where you're
doing that, you're essentially when you're down points, you're you know,
there's that that that call sheet can shrink in a hurry,
and we've experienced it at times this year with guys
having to step in, you know, either early in games
or in the second half of games.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
And we didn't handle it well today whatsoever.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
Brian O'Neill was talking to the locker room. Got a
need for a pergency and guys just understanding for their
job is on every single play. As you think about
urgency for these players, where does that express itself to you?

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Well, I think it's a mix, right.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
I think we've seen examples of guys pressing maybe to
try to make a.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Play here and there, second and long and we're.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Just trying to put the ball and play and we
get a drop on a second and long play that creates,
you know where, hey, maybe you have a chance to
make that third and manageable right there, and it's a
guy trying to catch the ball and make a play
and see if you can get more and more. And
that's where you feel pressing at times. But then there's
other times where it's got to be technique, it's got
to be strained, it's got to be fundamentals, and the

(17:29):
eleven guys in the huddle doing their jobs. You know,
no errors, No, you know, we don't really don't. You
don't get chances for doovers. So when those things turn
into negatives, especially when your team needs to kind of
sustain a drive, maybe we pick up the special teams
after that turnover.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
I know the defense is going out on that.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Field wanting to pick up everybody and say, hey, we're
gonna hold them out right here, and they punch it in.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Big deal.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Let's go take the ball and let's put a drive
together and go get right back to where we want
to be in this game and just keep applying press
should be the opponent, but we can't allow that that
feeling to allow the execution and the detail and some
of those things to slip. And that's not really referencing
the quarterback in any way, shape or form. But he's
still an experienced guy that's building it up as he goes.

(18:15):
And there's you know, just too much bad football today,
specifically in the second half really second half only that
just didn't give us a chance whatsoever.

Speaker 7 (18:24):
Been just in terms of j James confidence taking him
on the chin today, I mean, how do you kind
of keep him flying even when he's kind of gone
through these.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Last couple of weeks.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Yeah, it's all about it's all about his preparation. It's
all about you know, going back to work and understanding, hey,
this is new week, very you know, tough road trip
ahead of us. We're gonna need, you know, our quarterback
to have the best week of preparation out of anybody
on our team. But then we also need all you know,
the the other phases of our team and the other
guys in that huddle with him to do the same

(18:56):
and just keep on staying the course. And when we
find improvement, when we find consistent examples of it, let's
not you know, be in a position where wherever we're
going to be a team that celebrates that short term success.
We're going to be a team that needs to just
continue to press onward and execute even better and and
do your job even better.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
And that's just where our team is at right now.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
You know, I think that there is definite possibilities of within.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
You know, when these guys.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Watch the tape and when they see just how close
things are to going totally one way or the other,
and and and then when you eventually do have a
loss of a half of three turnovers and a half,
you really don't give yourself a chance whatsoever to win
that game. But let's not let's dive into it to
a point where I told all of our players grade sheets,

(19:47):
beside how I played all those things, look at it
as a collective football team and say what more can
I do?

Speaker 3 (19:52):
How? You know, where can I find.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
Those little edges for us to for me to do
my job at that elite level which will only help
the guy next to me and the guy under center.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Is how our team views it. That's how our leadership
views it.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
And I think that's why you hear from Brian O'Neil
and guys like our captains, you know, saying not only
saying the right things, but those guys are doing the
right things. And I have total faith that we're going
to continue pressing, pressing onward and improving as we go.

Speaker 7 (20:21):
Is it too early for you to have any sort
of sense of when you might not have Donovan Christian?

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Yeah, it's probably too early, and both those guys will
be evaluated. You know, I know DJ Donovan really you know,
you know he was doing everything in his power to
try to get back out there tape it up, and
we just wanted to make sure he could, you know,
not only do his job, but for the sake of
him just not sustaining something a lot longer then maybe
where it's at right now. And then with CD, you know,

(20:48):
he tried to fight through it, got it earlier on
in the game and was able to you know, go and.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Then at one point Tyler told me he was done.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
So we'll evaluate both those guys hopefully, you know, getting
a guy like Jonathan Gernard who was close back next
week will help, and you know, we'll see where we're
at and I'll update you guys as soon as soon
as I get a little bit more cleary.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Well, the twenty four hour rule absolutely has to be
in play here where you got to forget about it
within the next twenty four hours because you got to
get ready for Sam Darnold in Seattle. Sam the former
Vikings quarterback who lit these Packers up at lambeau Field
last year. He's having himself a wonderful, wonderful season. You know,
he's going to be all out to show his former

(21:31):
team what he's all about in the Cappuccino Capitol and
like Pete said earlier. You know, the Vikings finished the
game without Christian daris On, Donovan Jackson, left tackle and
left guard. A couple of injuries there, you know, but
the a topic remains the maturation or lack thereof of
JJ McCarthy, who made a six start today and you

(21:52):
know he suffered his first road loss through two interceptions again,
did not throw a touchdown, ran for the first time
in a couple of games. Got to get that thing, right.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Yeah you do.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
I mean, this is not the offense, Paul, that we've
seen here the last three seasons, right, this is not
the route combinations, the getting down the field, the highs
and the high lows, the digs. I mean, you know
we this vertical passing game that Kevin O'Connell has brought
here and has worked so well over the last couple
of seasons is really nowhere to be seen. And then

(22:24):
the question is, and you'll never get the answer, is
just why is it? You know, why are we getting it?
What's the problem exactly? And you're just not going to know.
A coach will not tell you. You just have to
trust that they're trying to put their players in the
best position to succeed and what. But they're going to
have to figure that out again because whatever they came

(22:45):
up with for today, which I think a lot, was
running the football, but you know, you still have to
find a way. This is an explosive offense, this is
a vertical offense, and we're just not seeing any of it.
And that's probably the most frustrating part.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Well, we're gonna hear from the quarterback JJ McCarthy here shortly.
But to lastly, a recurring problem reared its ugly head
again today, and that's time of possession where the Packers
had the ball for thirty seven minutes and change, meaning
the Vikings had it for twenty two minutes and change.
And you know there would be series where okay, we
get the ball after the defense was on the field

(23:20):
for a while, then a turnover, defenses back out there.
You know, this time of possession situation is just debilitating.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
Yeah, And the numbers in the second half as far
as yardage and number of plays and all that thing
I haven't dug into. I don't have the first half
second half, but the second half was abysmal in that regard.
And you know, you take a look forty four plays
that we ran against sixty five for the Packers. This
adds up for the defense, right, you get fifteen to

(23:48):
twenty extra plays a week and you're playing. You know,
the defense probably has an extra two games under their belt.
You know, with the total number of plays that they've
been out there, they play, you know, they play well,
They played hard. There were a few stretches there with
maybe they weren't tackling, but overall, you know, the defense
I think gave gave us opportunities that we did not

(24:10):
capitalize on.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
All.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Right, let's hear from Viking's quarterback J. J. McCarthy, sucks.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
Got to give a lot of credit to them. Uh,
they executed better than us all day to day. And
you know, I had a great game plan and executed
that game plan better than we did. I gotta be better.
I gotta do a lot of things better. And I'll
open up to any.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Questions, Jji, where does that start for you? Just getting better?
For this.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
Getting on the plane and watching the film and continuing
to just stack the days and wake up every single
day ready to get better, and you know, just make
small increments each and every day and continuing to just
perfect my craft.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
And you know the weaknesses that are.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
Exposed, you know, get make sure I'm on track with
those and getting back.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
To the right spot every week.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
Confidence is always high no matter what because the guys
in that room because of you know, the trust and
faith and my abilities and you know, it's just you know.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
We got to put things together.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
We got to keep putting days together, plays together, and
execute better.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
At the end of the day. It stands out this
game specifically.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
That you for I feel like this game, I you know,
went into it with a lot of things that I
felt like, you know, I did pretty well with my
feet and just staying calm and all that in the pocket,
but you know there's little things that you know show
up in a big way in these type of games
and just making sure that you know, every play there's

(25:39):
a full you know, intensity, focus and urgency and uh,
you know, I think we slipped a couple of times
with that today and we got to be better.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
During the course of the game where it's going like that,
what kind of goes through your mind and what like
how if you can do you kind of keep it
from snowballing.

Speaker 5 (25:58):
Just focus on the next play, Just understand you know,
you can't control what happened previously, and you can only
control what's in front of you. So just focusing on
that one play and making sure we execute in the
best way possible.

Speaker 6 (26:10):
Yeah, I assume this is kind of the first time
in your career you've gone through as much where you're
losing games back to back and try to recover from that.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
What is that like for you?

Speaker 6 (26:19):
Just to a quarterback trying to recover during the week
and kind of keep the emotional context of it in place.

Speaker 5 (26:26):
I think there's an ultimate emphasis on just the process understanding.
You know, obviously you want the results, but growth and
learning and getting.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Better every day is the most important thing.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
So obviously you know it sucks losing more than anything,
but you know, it's just all about that growth and
staying you know, steadfast to the process and you know,
making little tweaks here there to that process.

Speaker 6 (26:49):
Keep yourself there right, keeping the emotional part of it
where you want it to be.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Focused on that. I just don't think emotions are going
to do anything good for us.

Speaker 5 (26:59):
You know, at the end of the day, it's just
like fluff, and you know it's not going to help
us execute plays better. So just understanding where the issues
are where the problems are and fixing all right.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
So the Vikings have Seattle next, hopefully not going minus
three in the take gift like they did today. The
Vikings are now minus twelve in the turnover differential. This
year they have twenty one turnovers, which I believe is
most in the NFL. They they had the second most
turnovers into the game, and unless Seattle, you know, had three,

(27:30):
four or five turnovers, which I don't think it did.
The Vikings have turned the ball over the most times
of any team in the NFL, and an opportunity to
turn the frown upside down takes place next Sunday against
the Seattle Seahawks. That's the Vikings postgame report powered by Lumen.
For pete versage, I'm Paul Allen. Don't forget to stay

reaction from the Packers loss and the pregame festivities up
to the Seattle game. Thank you very much for listening
