How can we truly affirm that God is unchangeable, when several Scriptures appear to say the opposite? What lessons can we learn from this topic about how to study Scripture?
How terrifying would it be if God could change! How could we trust his promises, or worship him as the Perfect One? Indeed, God’s unchangeableness is essential to who He is.

The names of “Father” and “Son” are not arbitrary names that we ascribe to the 1st and 2nd person of the Trinity. These names reflect the very nature of the relationship between these two persons and their role in the story of Scripture.
