In this episode, we uncover the truth about joy and pleasure—how God designed them to be fully experienced in Him. God desires for us to be happy and fulfilled, and He created pleasure to be found in His presence. However, when we seek joy outside of Him, we settle for lesser pleasures, perverted by the enemy, that leave us empty and unsatisfied. These lesser joys create an endless cycle of craving, never truly satisfying our souls. But there is an antidote—the perfect joy found in God. When we seek pleasure in Him, we experience true fulfillment, the way He intended. Join us as we explore this powerful truth and embrace the joy that never fades.

(00:00):
Of God, it is at a certain levelthat it will make you drunk.
It's wet, but it must hit a certain dimension before you can
get drunk. Those who will be drunk and he
says fill it to the brain. It means that you are figured

(00:23):
out and you are filled with the word.
You can't experience the transition in the brave Bapura
back. May we choose your word over
every medical report, but we choose your word over Gouda.
Gods, may we choose your word over the suggestions of men.
May we always give your word the1st place.
Suri AKA make a zika rande makumba secalamande.

(00:48):
Blessed is the man that loveth the Lord and prices and prices
above all things. His wealth, his seeds shall be
great in the earth. Makuri kasara Mandela best shoda
bada. May our propheting be visible to
all. Just with your hands and thank

(01:13):
Godfather we are grateful to you.
Your name alone be glorified in Jesus name, Amen.
So in these meetings a lot is going to be helping us, you
know, flow along a certain line of understanding.

(01:36):
And often times before a man of God would preach a message,
Sometimes it's a product of his dealings or maybe how God has
dealt with him. You know, things that God is
working on or things that God has worked on.
That's what gives this. That's what gives preaching it's

(02:00):
weight, you know. So you meet someone who is
preaching about something that he has not lived.
You can tell he's lying. So I see people leading prayer.
What you are doing is a lie. Would you go and sit down?
Amen. You can see someone leading
worship and you can tell it's cosmetic.

(02:20):
The person is not a worshipper. It's just standing on the cell
and then that's it. This is not really a when
someone is a worshipper like theperson on their own at home,
they are worshipping God. No.
But no stage, no lights, no music and no keyboard.

(02:44):
Nothing. You see that there will be
jubilating God's presence, ecstatic joys.
Yeah, just having, you know, Oh my God, my God, you know, those
kind of things, you know, So what I'm going to be sharing
with you is something that God has been dealing with me on for
maybe a year, a year. So that's why, that's why you

(03:16):
don't listen to a message once. Are you with me that I don't
listen to a message once? When you're listening to a
message, it's a product of many things.
Think about it. I was suppose, yes, the book of
Romans, it's still the book of Romans since he wrote it.
But every time you read it, you see that My God, what is

(03:39):
happening? You know, recently I was reading
my Bible again. I mean, after how many years of
Bible reading back-to-back and Isaw a scripture that amazed me
in the tournament, Chapter 7, verse 17, when I said, I'm like,
I've been reading, reading, reading, reading.
But I think this, you know, there's, there's sometimes when

(04:02):
you are reading the Bible is like, but this, you are in verse
10, but I realise I'm in verse 25 and you are wondering how did
I arrive? So I, I was like, Oh no, let me
go back to see what I've missed. And then I came across this
verse and this God talking to Israel, he says, if thou shalt
say in thy heart these nations are more than I, how can I the I

(04:26):
God the first I is Israel talking in their hearts.
So you say if you Israel, say inyour hearts that the nations
that are supposed to conquer aremore than you, then how can I
God disposes them? Someone said, Hey, so when I

(04:48):
said I'm like, no, let me take my time.
Maybe I'm not reading. It was so you know, sometimes
you have to go to the washroom, wash your face and I read it
says if you see in your hearts that these nations are too
great, I got I can't dispossessed them.

(05:08):
So a lot of times we leave things on God when we are
supposed to be taking responsibility.
I'm going like, oh, I don't knowwhy these are not working for
me, but you have sentenced yourself in your heart.
That's also As for this addiction, I can never come out
of it. God is saying that if you are
saying in your heart, you can't come out of the addiction.
I'm helpless and I can't help you.

(05:29):
I'm not the one saying it. It's like, how can I dispossess
them? Oh, I don't think I can ever
have it owned my own business. You sentence yourself.
I don't ever think I can pray 1 you sentence yourself.
I don't think I will get a Good Wife to marry.
You have sentenced yourself, youknow, so it always comes back to

(05:53):
us. It always comes back to us.
I'll use this verse for something else very soon, but
tonight I just want to draw yourattention to a few things, a few
very important things, a few important, powerful things, and

(06:16):
I pray for understanding. Please give me a bit more volume
so I don't have to. I went to preach somewhere
before coming, so my voice is a bit tired and there was no
microphone, so I had to do manpower.
So it's not like I'm flexing. My voice is already all right.

(06:38):
Jeremiah, chapter 2, verse 18. Let's start from there.
Jeremiah chapter 2, verse 18. Can we all read together?
I don't know if we should read from verse one.
Let's read from verse one. ESV from verse one.
Let's. I want to hear you.

(06:58):
Like show me that you have missed me.
OK, Want to go. All.

(08:31):
There's a disease that the church must heal from.
Don't write so on the the momentyou realise on the status
there's a disease, the church must say.

(08:52):
Now I want to bring your mind tosomething.
Listen to what God is saying. God is saying that I brought you
into a land and I gave you good things to enjoy.
But when you came into the land, you defiled my land and made
MyHeritage an abomination. Remember from the beginning this
using marital terms to talk to Israel because we know that we

(09:17):
are married to the Lord. But Paul says that I've
betrothed you and we know he says that I've betrothed you as
trust Christ, virgins to Jesus Christ.
We know that we are liking to them.
We have the bride of God. So everything is not just about
Israel. It's also about us.
But you know, sometimes God blesses us and the blessings he
gives us becomes idols to us. I know you don't have a problem

(09:42):
because some of you've never really had a good job.
So my job, my job can never be my idol is because you've never
really had a good job. They are seeing big money.
Yeah. You know, verse 8, we are still
reading together. Verse 8.

(10:04):
Verse 8. Let's read together.
May God help us. I'm intentionally not doing vest

(10:25):
by vest exposition. I'm intentionally because else I
won't I won't finish. You know first first line.
I'm showing you something, then let's go and with your
children's children. I will contend best 10 for

(10:49):
there's no they want to go and see or send to Kida and examine
with care. See if they'll be verse 11.
Hey, hey, but my people have changed their glory for that

(11:12):
which does not profit. Be appalled, O heavens at this,
be shocked, be utterly desolate, declares the Lord.
Restating is my vest, for my people have committed 2 evils.
They have forsaken me, the fountain of waters, of living

(11:33):
waters, and healed out systems for themselves, broken systems
that can hold no water. God is saying.
God is saying that I am Israel'strue satisfaction.
I am Israel's true God, yet Israel has exchanged me for

(11:56):
idols, and these idols that theyhave exchanged me with these
blessings and these things that they are enjoying.
I brought them into this land toenjoy it, and they came into
this land enjoying the land, andI'm no longer treasured in their
hearts. So they have forsaken me, the

(12:16):
true living water and they have built systems for themselves.
And he says these systems are man made systems.
Systems says it cannot be hold water.
But I'm the true living water. You know when you become born

(12:39):
again, there are too many inheritances in Christ for us,
too many. So if you are not careful, you
gradually gravitate towards materialism and not necessarily

(12:59):
prosperity, because materialism is not prosperity.
Are you with me? Someone is holding their head
like what is he saying? The fact that you have a house,
the fact that you have a car, the fact that you have a good
job does not mean you are prosperous because we know that

(13:19):
primarily prosperity is not whatwe have is who we have in
Genesis chapter 39, this guy standing there that the Bible is
talking about in Genesis 39 verse 2, Bible says that the
Lord was with Joseph and he became go to King James.

(13:40):
King James will tell you that and he was a prosperous man.
So King James is not telling youthat because God was with him,
he became King James said that because God was with him, he is.
So prosperity is not how much isyour bank account.
Prosperity is who you have. I don't know if you're with me,

(14:02):
but by the time Joseph, the Bible is saying this about him,
he was, he had been sold into slavery.
Joseph didn't have a car at thispoint.
He didn't have a house at this point.
He was not married at this point.
He was, he was going to be put in, you know, prison and all
that. And I mean, he had been bought.

(14:24):
And the Bible says that because God was with Joseph, he was a
prosperous man. That's prosperity.
So that it doesn't matter how much is your bank account.
There is a certain contentment you have in God because you have

(14:44):
him. So that my life Jesus said it is
a man's life is not determined by the abundance of things that
he possesses. Because you can have a 10
bedroom house and yet you have sleepless nights and someone is
renting somewhere in Balaji and when he sleeps he is like he
fulfills the scripture that saysthe Lord my God gives me sleep.

(15:07):
Someone can be living somewhere in a Zumba immobi and yet when
he wakes up, he doesn't have to.You see, sometimes the
prosperity becomes the reason you have no sleepless minds
because of where you live. You need security guards.
But as I ever when they live there, there's no thief is
coming there. Recently I travelled somewhere
and I asked one of the indigers do people experience?

(15:28):
I'm Rodriguez. He said no because what the
place was a village somewhere. What are you going to rob?
So sometimes they say I need this, I need that.
It becomes the basis for your insecurity.
That's why I love God. God will never give you
something that you cannot handle.
So we think that I've said it somany times ago, God is

(15:50):
delivering you from bad things, only sometimes good things.
That's why you are not dating. Now.
I don't know where this one camefrom.
Doesn't mean dating is a bad thing.
But if you enter relationship now, you massacre the person's
heart. You, the person, wake up in the
morning and you are grilling a heart.

(16:12):
It's in the it's on the course of a charcoal.
You're sprinkling a what's it called, Kifo putting Kifo Gary
on somebody's daughter's heart ready to be eaten.
And the sad part is you offer her some issue not even know
it's a heart because we wake up in the morning, say things.

(16:37):
You have done her sausages with some, you know, and shredded
meat and said you've shredded the heart in the ninja blender
and you have done it into sausage and you have fried it
and you didn't brought it to herin bed, breakfast in bed and she
was eating her own heart. So there are too many good
things. And today I want to show you why

(16:58):
sometimes some of those good things don't come.
God is telling Israel that when I brought you into this land
that was a fruitful land, you traded my glory.
You traded your glory for these things and I'm the true living
water who satisfies your test, who satisfies your life.
But you have made man made systems.
What God is telling Israel is this Israel.

(17:20):
I am your satisfaction, but you have left me for your own man
made systems to give you joy. So can I say something?
Your entertainment you have is areplacement to your joy in God.

(17:42):
It's a man made system. God didn't create you for
movies. God didn't create you for
sports. He didn't create you for soccer
and created you for something better.
So he said I want to be your joy, I want to be the true
living water you are drinking from.
But because you can't see me as your all satisfying supreme

(18:03):
treasure, you have traded me forthings.
A lot of times we are rushing into relationships because we
have not found contentment in God.
So we move from one relationshipto another.
And God is saying that this relationship that you are
jumping from one to another. I, God, want to have that
relationship with you so that inmy relationship with you, you

(18:24):
know how to choose someone who is also in relationship with me
to keep you in relationship withme.
But oftentimes, I don't forget what I'm saying, but oftentimes
because we are not in relationship with God, we choose
somebody who is also not in relationship with God, and then
we never get into relationship with God.

(18:44):
There's another category. They are in God and who they
want to choose is not finding the satisfaction they are
finding in God, and they still go ahead to choose the person.
Then by the time they realize God is no longer their supreme
joy, that foolish boy has become, are you with me?

(19:06):
Are you with me? Do you see Israel's life?
How do they realize that it's not just Israel?
You are like that. You are like that.
Like, you see, you can wake up in the morning and your first
inclination is to turn on Netflix.
No quiet time. No.
Oh, no. Take it, take it, take it.

(19:28):
Nothing like that. The moment you wake up, you wake
up in this Netflix. Do you know people do that?
I don't want to. I don't want to.
Let me not go there. So God is saying I'm your true

(19:50):
satisfaction. We've been singing it.
You are a true satisfaction. But I want to do something today
that will bring you into the reality of that song the next
time you are singing it. God should be your supreme job.
He should be the treasure of your heart.

(20:12):
Are you here? So he says that Israel I'm the
true source. Look at it.
He says, For my people have committed 2 evils #1 they are
forsaken. Me the fountain of living
waters. Remember when Jesus came in John
Chapter 7, the Bible says that the last of the 5th Jesus stood
up and screamed. So he that is thirsty, let him
come and let him drink. And out of his bellies shall

(20:36):
flow living waters or South flowrivers of living waters.
So Jesus invites us to drink. When you become born again, you
drink into Christ. That's what the Bible says.
We drink into Christ. We drink Christ.
Christ becomes our gather, our gather.

(20:58):
And the reason why we are plagued with a lot of pains,
difficulties, uncertainties, is because we have left the living
water and we are looking for things to entertain.
God doesn't want to entertain you.
God is not interested in entertaining you.

(21:20):
That's why you can see some. When I see a Christian who loves
parties, I know the person has aproblem.
Look like right now Paint Hall, which is painting, and you see a
child of God, Oh, child of God, no.
So when you go to painting, the category of people you should
see are the category of people who have not found satisfaction
in God. If you are satisfied in God, you

(21:41):
will not be there because you see and you see Jamat tells us
that. Jamat tells us that this system
we built for ourselves, they arebroken and they cannot hold
water. What that means is that they
cannot give us the the kind of satisfaction that we are looking
for. So every time you go for a
party, it planted small hunger for party.

(22:09):
Every time you go to click porn it it oh, why are you?
Why are you getting touchy? Ask your neighbor why are you
getting touchy? I said you watch porn, so why

(22:31):
are you angry? Why are you angry?
Why are you angry? There's a senior on duty?
Every time you click on pawn, it's a product of joy in God
that has reduced. Every time you want more movies,

(23:01):
people who didn't crave too muchattention, it's a problem.
You are too into yourself. It's a very big problem.
And the things we chase, the truth is that they don't
satisfy. So let me show you something.

(23:22):
There's a void. Let's say if this is the void in
your hearts, if this is the voidin your hearts, when Jesus fills
this void, he feels it absolutely and completely.
When anything aside Jesus gets into this void, it increases the

(23:45):
space. I don't even understand what I'm
saying. And do you know why it increases
the space? It increases the space to show
you that it can never fail you to the brain, so you will be
created for more of its thinking.
It will give you the joy, the satisfaction and the contentment

(24:08):
you are looking for. But it leaves you more hungry.
Because the void was created forJesus, not for things.
So the more you fill it with things, the more the void gets
bigger. But when you fill that void with
God does it, it becomes the longing of your soul.

(24:31):
So everything which is entertainment, movies today you
are in Tele, Cell Music Awards, you are in MTN Praise Reloaded,
you are in this, you are in that.
Sometimes people even play church because they are not
looking for God, they are looking for a place they'll be
comfortable. So you go to a place where the
spiritual discipline is very gross.
You didn't come for that, you came for fun.

(24:54):
So when you come to a place likethis, and by now we are, we
should be done. They do for me, you can do for
you, you can do for me, you can do for you and we are not doing
it for you. Then you are offended because
you didn't come to look for God,you just came to look for
another place of entertainment. That's why years ago my
father-in-law told me, said Adrian.
If you train your people with entertainment, the day you want

(25:14):
to introduce spiritual rigor anddisciplines do rebel against it.
It's like a child that didn't get proper training.
He didn't teach him how to talk properly and he talks anyhow
when he grows up. You can't easily correct that
thing. It's difficult because a child
is like a slit, clean slit everyThat training becomes the things

(25:38):
you write on them and they grow with it.
That's the problem is the reasonwhy you don't know how to lace
your shoe is because they never taught you how to lace your
shoe. This one I was, I was talking
to, I was preaching to a group of parents and I was sharing my
mind. I was giving my my view.
I told them that all the problems we address as pastor is

(25:59):
because of bad parenting. I told them that it's because of
bad parenting. So now we are suffering and I
told them that. I say some of you say well me
that my child is. I say you don't know your child.
I will show you your child. You don't know your child.
Tell your parents who bought something bad.
Not yet, but I know a girl has been sleeping beside you in

(26:21):
pains. I know.
And your mother is bragging. Your mother is bragging.
There's some people. They did.
They give back. Their mother thinks that's the
first. They know that they've removed
plenty. They've removed plenty.

(26:43):
And do you know why we go? We do you know why we do all
these things is because we are looking for something only God
creates. Do you know when God created
Adam? Where he put he put him in a
place called pleasure. God put Adam in a place called
delight. Eden means delight.
That means that pleasure is not bad.

(27:08):
The pleasure of sex is not bad. Do you know why it's not bad?
Psalm 16, verse 11. Psalm 16, verse 11.
But that will show me the part of life in Thy presence with

(27:30):
fullness of joy and at Thy righthand pleasures.
It means if you really want to know pleasure, God can show you
pleasure. When I read a quote by a
powerful man of God, she said ifGod had left the design of
marriage to man, man is not in himself as intelligent.

(27:52):
Man is not in himself so intelligent to have created
something like sex for God, for for us to have something like
sex, it should have taken a God who understands what pleasure
is. You don't know pleasure.

(28:13):
You don't know pleasure. So to say God, you say.
So God doesn't understand. No, he created it.
God created our emotions, the way we feel, the way we
something. You know, we all crave it.
He put it. It's like a coding.
It's in your system. So when you don't crave it, we
should pray for you. Give me oil.
Please don't understand what I'msaying.

(28:37):
So pleasure is something of God says at my right hand are
pleasures, pleasures, excitement, choice.
God wants you to be happy. God is not against your
happiness. Some people feel like God
doesn't want them to be happy. That's why he puts them through
the no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

(28:58):
God is not against your joy. God is not against your
pleasure. What Satan does is that Satan.
That's why it's called temptation.
Satan exploits legitimate thingsGod created and disturbs them.
That's why when the serpent appeared to Adam in the garden,
he didn't present a responsibility.
He didn't. He didn't come to tempt them

(29:19):
with wax. He didn't come to tempt them
with, He came. He didn't tempt them with duty.
He tempted them with desire because he knew that desire is
something God has created, but if he can, he can all tie it and
change it to make man have that pleasure he was having in God,
outside God, then he can get man.

(29:41):
That was the focus of the temptation in the garden.
The temptation was was to get Adam to find pleasure in
something other than God. That's when the serpent should
have said what does God said If that was not the case, the
temptation shouldn't have been along the lines of pleasure.

(30:02):
I don't misunderstand what I'm saying, but because God created
pleasure because he said he I don't want to say is that God
the word we've used that the word makes it easy like I'm a
pleasurable God makes it sound very but that's the truth.
We we can't have anything that God did not create.

(30:23):
We we can only have counterfeitsbecause there's an original.
So all these lesser joys we chase is simple.
Satan is giving us alternatives to God.
So the next time there's a temptation to go for a party,
Satan is giving. Satan is advertising another

(30:47):
kind of joy, which is a soul destroying joy.
It's a lesser joy to destroy your soul.
And I'll show you what those things do to you.
So every temptation is an advertisement of Satan.
Every Once you know this, you can easily overcome temptations.
It's like I've gone to the market in a local setting.

(31:08):
You know where you go to Accra or Circle or Medina.
Sometimes you didn't plan on buying, but the way the person.
Hello, Hello, hello, hello, hello.
Hello, chips, chips, Chips don'tcall you.
They said please, I'm not interested.
Then sometimes you give him so they stop worrying you.

(31:33):
That's how temptation is. Temptation is like you have
woken up in the morning. You are minding your Christian
business. Then Satan flashes the thoughts.
He's advertising a certain kind of pleasure outside God.
Hey, and once, once in a while you do and by doing Jesus name,

(31:53):
I'm a new creation in Christ Jesus.
I'm the righteousness of God in Christ.
That's like telling the person tormenting you at my dinner, I'm
not interested. But Satan is very smart.
He'll come back. Come on.
That's what he did to Jesus in Matthew chapter 4.
He said, oh, Jesus, and he came at the time Jesus was hungry.

(32:17):
Because you see one, one of the things you need to understand
is, for example, if you have ever lost a parent, you'll
notice that Satan tries to lamb you your feelings and emotions
so that you will do other thingsto feel like you're alive.

(32:40):
I can tell you this from experience and I was counselling
Afghani some counsels because I was talking to somebody, one of
my brothers who lost his mom about a week ago.
And when I was telling you, he said that I went to somebody's
house and thoughts and I said it's because that's what he did

(33:04):
to Jesus. He knew that look, what is food
to a fool man? The Bible says that to the
bitter soul. To the hungry soul, every bitter
thing is sweet. Look for that verse.
For me, I think it's some 27 verse 1727.
Seventeen. Yeah, something 717.
Look at it. He says that the full soul

(33:26):
looked at the honey, but to the hungry soul, every bitter thing
is sweet. Pornography is bitter.
But because we have not experienced a certain joy and a
certain contentment in God, you,you click on when the joy of God
is low. It's not you see, Oh my God,

(33:47):
that's what he's saying. He says that when you are full,
it means when I'm full of God, 10 paces will not suffice
because I'm satisfied honey sweets by so that when the soul
is full, even the most sweetest thing will be lots of Have you
ever been so full your father brought ice cream from work.

(34:08):
You could even eat some. I know there's a cathedral
people there are never full like, well, they don't fit into
this example, but I'm talking toreal human beings who understand
that I am full like you're full. They bring peace and you're
like, I'm OK. I so when the when the soul has

(34:30):
become full of God and the soul has found its primary
contentment in God, the effect is that sin loses its lauster.
Sin is no longer what is the last is like you see, you see
something shiny, shiny like whatwas this?
Satan will be tempting. You are like my friend.
And you see the reason why I know this is true is because
what Jesus said to Satan. Jesus didn't say you are lying.

(34:53):
Jesus said you are presenting mewith an opportunity to turn
these physical stones to physical bread.
But I've already been satisfied already because man shall not
live by bread alone. So you are tempting me with a
physical bread, but I've been satisfied by a spiritual bread,

(35:19):
which is God's weight. And because I'm already
satisfied and I've fed on this spiritual bread, I don't need a
physical one. I mean that.
So every time there's a spiritual void that you are not
filling with God, you will attempt to fill it with other
things and it's only branches you deeper into more decades.

(35:42):
Then God created Adam. God created Adam to have you
know in Ephesians chapter 1 Bible says that Ephesians 13.
Look at Ephesians on this three because I understand what I'm
sharing with you. It says blessed be the God of
our Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Bless us of all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in
Christ. Therefore, according as you are

(36:04):
choosing us in him before the foundation of the world that we
should be holy and without blamebefore him in love.
So God had chosen us to become the recipient of his love.
So the way he made us, the way you look there, your everything
was made so that you enjoy God'slove.

(36:24):
That's why God made us because Bible calls God love, but we
know that love cannot be loved if there's no one at the
receiving end. If that what I love, my question
will be you love what? Nobody can just say I love in
abstract sense that I love. If you say you love, there

(36:46):
should be something that you areloving.
So when if God is love, there should be someone at the
receiving end of that love and we were created to receive God's
love. And this is when Satan comes.
Satan shows you look, you can still have this love in the

(37:07):
bosom of a guy you are not married to.
I'm just introducing my preaching today's #1 So Adam
heeded to the 7th and the woman.Adam tasted the fruits and his
taste buds exploded with a new kind of taste I never tasted

(37:30):
before. He was wondering what have I
just tasted. It was after that God shoulder
and so sometimes people go like, why did God send Adam out of the
garden? They didn't know.
What they don't know is that it was actually an act of gospels
because we read it clearly in the Bible says that God took
them out. So they don't eat on the tree of
life and live forever because ifAdam had eaten from that tree of

(37:54):
life, that's it. They must be in English.
That's it. Are you here?
So God created us to be satisfied in him.
That's why he created us. And he's most glorified.

(38:14):
When we find him as our supreme satisfaction, He's most
glorified. That's why he gets all the
glory. Like like football cannot have
you more than God. No, that was the problem of the
rich young ruler. The Bible says that when he left
Jesus, he left sorrowful for he had great possession, but the

(38:39):
Greek doesn't say it like that. The Greek said for great
possession had him. So the things he had became his
God and determined what he did and what he did not do.
It's like also the guy in Luke chapter 12 verse 15 who had a
field and then he said, oh, let's go to the state team.

(39:04):
Look for 13. I want to show you this verse
14. Oh, go up, go up, go up.
Are you here? Luke 1215 But you know Jesus is

(39:25):
coming from a place. This is the guy here, Jesus,
talk about the guy who said, oh,have you seen my food has
produced so much corn, but I don't have enough room to store
it. So I'm going to break down my
old band and build a bigger one.And then I will say to my soul,
so you have much yes ahead of you.

(39:46):
It's drink and be merry. This is the.
This is, this is the. This is the definition of a
typical life without gold. Enjoyment, foolishness, things

(40:12):
that things that kills, you know, it's so interesting.
What kills people is what they like.
You can see someone else. Diabetes, They said no, he said
no. Give me one bottle of Coke is
killing you by. That's how we've been wired
because of the fall to choose the things that kills us.

(40:34):
So God says I am delivering water, but he said no, I've made
myself an alternative to God. So the reason why we don't talk
to God when we are hurting is because we know where to ease
off. That's the mermaid system and
that's the one that after doing it, three days goes by, you

(40:54):
can't talk to God. You can be looking at your Bible
but you can't read it. So it's drink and be happy.
Then what Merry is happiness, Merry Christmas, happy
Christmas. So we can say merry birthday

(41:19):
from now on in three page we greets merry birthday.
So Mary means to be happy. So he says eat, drink and be
happy. And that's what the people
without God do. So I want to show you something,
Jesus, this problem with this guy is not that he's eating,
it's not that he's drinking, it's not that he wants to be

(41:39):
happy. Let's continue reading.
And that's what Jesus said. But God said unto him, you fool.
And you know the Bible definition of a fool.
Psalm 14, this one. That's how you link the
Scriptures. Psalm 14, this one, he says a
fool has said in his heart thereis no God.
He didn't even say a fool. The fool specific, he means the

(42:03):
one who lives as though there isno God is the man God calls a
fool. So I know I'm probably preaching
to some fools, but I'm probably maybe not anybody in this to
someone maybe online, maybe the person who didn't come that is
watching from home because you consider the weather.
I said the service would be nicelistening to it in bed because

(42:27):
you chose pleasure and you are not like David who said when
shall I come rain or say I want to take an umbrella, I want to
take a boat and go and sit in the service and hear what God
has to say. I will listen to it and you are
a big fool. The big fool has said in his
heart that's a very no translation.
Last week I told you that this is not a trop amplify something,

(42:52):
although he was given the announcement, he made some
statements and I thought something something he made a
statement. So I'm showing my own.
This Adrian expounded worst version of the Bible.
I says that there was a white big fool, but the tologist and
the people who transcribed it took it out.

(43:14):
They were in a hurry. The big fool, I said in his
heart, there's no God. So we are going to put this
definition of a fool into Luke 15.
Let's go back. But God said unto him, you who
are set in your heart now to sayyour heart, there's no God is

(43:34):
actually negating God from your life.
So you who has negated me from your life tonight I will require
your soul from you and then the things that you have provided
who there be for. Then look at Jesus arguments in
verse 21. So is he that laid up treasure
for himself and is not rich towards God.

(43:56):
So the problem is not being rich.
The problem is being rich, but it is not towards God.
Put it in passion. Put it in passion.
This is what will happen to all those who fill up their lives
with everything but God. So I want to emphasize that God
is not against your happiness. God is not angry that you're

(44:18):
having sex. Andrea having sex.
He knew you have sex before you marry, so when he says that he

(44:39):
paid for it. So the issue is not that you are
having sex. What helps God and breaks his
heart is that you are choosing to look for pleasure.
When he says that the pleasure you are running to the world for
the broken sisters you want to have.
I God am enough to satisfy everygrief.
So the problem is not sex. He created a sex so that is not

(45:00):
the focus. God wants you to be rich.
That's what the Bible says. I'm I, the Lord, I have no one
who gives you power to get wealth.
The one giving you the power to get wealth definitely is not the
one against you're making money. So if you don't get it, you
might think that I want you to become a Christian.

(45:21):
God doesn't want you to be happy.
No, God wants you to be happy. That's why he says the one you
pray. I will answer that.
Your joy may be full. So the reason he even answers
our prayer is so that our not joy in what he gives us, but
that our joy in him will escalate into an, you know, it
will escalate into immeasurable messes that we find God so

(45:43):
sweet, so appetizing. It means when Adam was tempted
by the serpent, he saw the fruits more attractive and
pleasurable than God. That's the foundation of
temptation. Every time you fall to sin, you
valued sin greater and higher than God.

(46:04):
That's not a message you preach to unbelievers, it's a message
for believers. Since you are filling your life
of everything. Today you are in Dubai, tomorrow
you are here and you see. Can I show you another
scripture? First Timothy chapter 6.
Listen to Paul's communication 1st called Timothy chapter 6.

(46:29):
Go to verse 5. Everybody want to go.
Jump to verse 9. I made a statement at the
beginning that sometimes it's because of the things we have
that we even get into temptation.
Look how Paul is into Timothy. Everybody want to go since those

(46:54):
who will be rich, we are not going to take post words out of
context. He said that those who will be
rich will fall into temptation and slay.
Why? No, no, no, no, no, go back.
Hey everybody, let's continue. We are going to put all this in

(47:15):
context. He's saying that those who
become rich, who gets money, they are likely to fall into a
temptation and a snare and into many foolish and hurtful lusts
which do what? Which drown men in destruction.
It means that the last always destroys the last of the ice.

(47:41):
You know the Bible says Nicholas, chapter one this eight
that the ice is not satisfied with seeing, neither is the ear
satisfied with hearing. Look at this Ecclesiastes 18.
You think I'm telling lies, saysall things are full of Labor and
man cannot authorize. The eye is not satisfied with
seeing and the ear is not filledwith hearing.

(48:04):
It is just telling you the insatiable nature in the heart
of man that you are never reallysatisfied.
Let a man get. Why do politicians steal the
nation's money? After all, they have small
sanitation you have stolen money, small sanitation you have

(48:26):
stolen money. You see people who are rich and
yet they are still craving for more.
Because that's why I said the void.
If Jesus is not the one filling the void, you will do many
things to try to fill the void and Satan tricks you to try to
use things to suppress the legitimate need for God.

(48:50):
So you'll be using things and realize that the more you are
using things and finding this lesser choice, they are
destroying your soul. So Paul is saying that go back
first contest of Timothy Traverses.
I know you don't like my picture.
I thought I'll come to show you 15 principles of prosperity that

(49:10):
prosperity that you will get without God.
No, it will lead you into hurtful lusts and it will drown
you into destruction and permission.
But this thing is if I'm not careful at a point you walk away
from God. Just the Bible says we are not
like them that draw back into perdition, but to them that
believe even onto the saving of the soul.
We are not like the people who walk away from God having to see

(49:30):
someone God bless and he became a fool.
We saw a typical example in Luke15, who even made the ground
that went to plants and it's yielded fruits.
Who created that ground? I should tell you that.
I mean, God has given us all things richly to enjoy.

(49:54):
So He's not against our joy, butHe wants us to understand
something like what David said. David said the Lord is my
portion of inheritance. That means that if we are
sharing my path of God. So he says go back when this

(50:17):
said let's go to this 10 watch this for the love of money.
You know a lot of times people quote this best religious money
is the root of all evil. You are a liar.
That's what the Bible says God is economically writing the
scriptures. He doesn't waste the weight.
So he didn't say the love of money is the root of all evil.

(50:37):
Bring me money, I'll collect it.Money is good.
Do you think if God is telling you to go and do an Apostolic
missing in a certain school or in a certain country, you'll go
and speak in tongues? Or next time you are travelling
to commerce, go to Africa world and go and stand in Mahutili
Mahali Ikaluma Soka Soka Soka has no slap you they will call

(51:04):
security. We think there's a mad person in
our take him out. They say it is the love.
It is the love of money that is the root of all evil.
And while some converted after money they have ate from the
faith. People love money.

(51:28):
They walk away from God. Do you know when Jesus said no
man can serve 2 masters? He was talking about money.
So no man can serve 2 masters. You cannot serve God and mammon.
It means Satan doesn't even qualify to be a replacement of
God in your heart. Money has the tendency money.

(51:57):
Is it because Satan cannot replace God?
When check all through Israel's history any time they went into
idolatry, Satan was not their idol.
It was man made things, cavings of stones, wood.

(52:19):
Then they call it a God. If Satan doesn't qualify, he's
disqualified so he makes you putyour love you must give to God
into things and Jesus shows thatone of those things is money and
Paul is now illustrating it clearly and he's telling us that
one week when you chase money and you are of some of you.
Sometimes God tells you in this season I won't give you a job so

(52:42):
you can learn to love me and treasure me.
Is it the way you are disturbed looking for a job when you are
satisfied with I'm not saying the lazy, no, but I'm saying
that you will not be under pressure.
Those people do all kinds of things to get a job, all kinds

(53:04):
of things, since they have pierced themselves through with
many sorrows. Verse 11 But thou, O man of God,
flee these things, flee. So I came to tell someone flee
these things, these earthly pleasures that you are tasting

(53:25):
looking for to you are too obsessed with clothes when you
are wearing Christ. Most every man that is in Christ
has put on Christ go and buy icon.
I wear gold and wear it and stopfooling because some people,

(53:47):
they just, a lot of you have clothes you don't use.
Now I want to be very practical with what I'm saying because I'm
coming to jump. So you think that it is the loaf
of money that is the root of life.
And you know why? Let me show you.
Let me show you why are you hereor you're let me show you why.

(54:20):
The reason why we chase lesser Joyce is because number one, I
think from have you know, my finite knowledge of the
scriptures. I think that the number one
reason why we chase these lesserJoyce is because we don't think
God wants us to be happy. How many of you ever thought God

(54:46):
was against you watching football?
OK, let me keep more serious ones.
If you grew up in a very religious system, you can't even
like, I don't even know what kind of examples here, but how
many of you ever thought God wasnot interested in your happiness
like that? You are happy.

(55:07):
People even think that when you are happy, I'm not a spiritual
person. You are kind of because you are
happy. When did someone came to our
ministry when I was specially were laughing?
I was I don't know what I was saying people were just
laughing. They don't say no church were
supposed. Why are we laughing?

(55:27):
We are joking with God. I know where the problem is
coming from. His father at home doesn't
smile. Wait, let me ask a simple
question. How many of you the way you
laugh in church you can sit withyour father, have a conversation
and laugh like that. Raise your hand.
You see just a few people we've counted 1 2345678910 the whole

(55:53):
room so you transport that thingto God.
So you come to church and we arepraying and see people.
I say he has fallen laughing. How can you do rap back and do
haha no, it's a backsliding spirits.
You don't know how to be happy in God is because we don't

(56:19):
really think God wants us to be happy.
Do you know how I know Jesus likes pleasure and nice things?
Why is it that his first mark was not reason to date by going
to a party to multiply and to turn water into wine like the
first. He did that well, people were
happy. I don't think you enter a
marriage ceremony and you see them sad and morose.

(56:41):
They so drunk the barrels of wine.
It's finished. They need that refilled my God
and it is in this place. Jesus is so that there's 11 of
John 2 can say this beginning ofmiracles did Jesus and how did
he manifest his glory by tell mewhat that wine.
That's how he manifested glory. So God is not against our

(57:06):
happiness. God is not you see God wants you
to eat and before recently I sawin the tournament.
He says when thou has eaten and thou has full, thou shalt tell
the Lord thy God. God wants you to eat.
After you have eaten, you look at them and say blessed be your
name. God wants you to get a good job.

(57:28):
When the salary comes, 10,015 thousand dollars hits your
accounts are like Blessed be your name.
It's not an opportunity to misbehave.
The reason we enter misbehavior is because we have not first
been satisfied and associated with God.
Come look for that scripture in the tournament.

(57:49):
So when you eat and you are full, then you shall thank the
Lord your God. Once in a while walk into that
pizza shop, buy the pizza, take it home, I said once in a while.
It was shocking. People do this when we have
declared fasting, the pastor said eats the pizza and thank

(58:11):
God. He says when thou hast eaten and
are full, thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land
which He has given thee. God wants you to be happy.
Psalm 36. Psalm 36.

(58:31):
I think verse 6, Next one. Just how excellent is thy loving
kindness, Oh God? Therefore the children of men
put their trust under the shadowof their wings. 8 He says, they
shall be abundantly satisfied. Are you seeing it?

(58:54):
How satisfied does He want you to be abundantly?
So they shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of
thy house, and also make them drink of the river of whose
pleasure? God's pleasures, God's
pleasures. But He doesn't want you to have

(59:14):
it outside him. That's where the pleasure is,
His pleasure. So even your pleasure of sex, it
flows like a deep stream in between the high banks of
righteousness. I'm back.

(59:36):
What I mean by that is every pleasure you want to have is
flowing like a stream or like a river.
The currents are wild, but you have righteousness as it banks.
It doesn't overflow. So every time, so every time

(59:59):
we're enjoying pleasure, it is within the bodies.
Of righteousness, you can't misbehave.
When I was teaching some of the younger people, I told them that
the reason why God gave us a pleasure like sex.
But in this series I'll talk about sex.
The reason God gave us a pleasure like sex is so that

(01:00:22):
when we are done is the way God created the trees and said it
was good. Do you know sex is also a
creation of God? So God intends like the way you
can say I like nature. You look at nature.
So this beautiful, this so nice, this so wonderful.
God also intends that you marry, marry well, taste of this

(01:00:44):
pleasure of sex and say how goodhe loved her.
So deliver. Recently I saw a quote by one
wonderful man of God. Let me read it to you.
Let me read it to you. He said something about
marriage. Let me read what he said.

(01:01:06):
He said within this Christian vision for marriage, here is
what it means to fall in love. It is to look at another person
and get a glimpse of the person God is creating and to say, I
see who God is making you and itexcites me.

(01:01:28):
Now you're crashing. Do you know why you're being
crashing? You are crossing because you are
driving your emotions at 250 kilometers per hour.
So your emotion is just who? So when there's a car in front
of you, you who break, but you're you are gone.

(01:01:50):
So every crash is a product of emotions that are not checked
over speeding emotions, that's enough.
Because if God is the ones taking the emotions, you will
not over speed it. Your emotions is fast and
furious. It's not just fast, it's

(01:02:12):
furious. That's why the world tells you
my love is wicked. Wicked.
Because when the Bible says God's love is kind, God's love
is gracious, the world tells youthat it must be a fast love.
But wicked, Wicked. No wonder the exploitation of

(01:02:38):
the pleasures becomes wicked because the foundation was not
love. So the foundation of this
Christian vision of love is thatI look at you and I say I like
what God is making you and I'm excited.
It's not all. Let me continue.
Let me continue. Let me show you what he
continues. Oh hey, I have to be wrapping up

(01:03:02):
Then he said, then he said, listen to this.
I see what God is making you andit excites me.
I want to be part of that. I want to partner with you and
God in this journey you are taking to his throne.
And when we get there, I will look at God's magnificence and
your magnificence and say to God, I always knew you could

(01:03:24):
look like this or you look like this.
Why I got glimpses of it on Earth, but at how I look at my
spouse. That you look at somebody and

(01:03:50):
say I like what God is doing, not I like your bottles, not I
like your breasts, not I like the job you have, but I like
what God is doing in you. I'm excited and and when we now
make this journey together to gothrough, we get to go through

(01:04:10):
and I tell God, I knew you always look like this.
I knew your magnificence was going to be like this because on
earth, the ordained partner you gave me gave me pictures and
glimpses of you. The next time you are falling in
love, the next time you think you like somebody, ask yourself,
when I stand before God, would this person have given me

(01:04:30):
glimpses of what God looks like?Because that was the reason God
ordained marriage. God ordained marriage so that we
can understand his marital relationship with us.
That's why when marriage is not done goes way, it creates a lot
of problems. And it is not true how that we

(01:04:51):
come come together to form a whole.
In God's mathematics, 1 + 1 is 1, and 1 + 1 + 1 is still one
because God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit is 1.
And when God joins you and one to another, that is a while, You
don't become two, you become oneflesh.

(01:05:12):
That's God's mathematics, and that's why I sit down.
That's the way you have sex withsomeone you're not married to.
You become wrongly bonded together.
I don't know if I enjoy my preaching.

(01:05:35):
Because we don't think God trulywants us to be happy.
Meanwhile, we are seeing that Hecreated pleasure.
The second reason why I think wedon't think God wants us to be
happy is because we have not understood the foundation of His
invitation. What do I mean by that?

(01:05:57):
A lot of times we preach come toJesus, He will give you eternal
life, He will save you, He will do something for you.
And we tell people that they should come to Jesus because
their jobs are not working and Jesus will give them a good job
is scam. So we have a lot of scammers
wearing cleric. Can I say that again?

(01:06:25):
Let me say it in a way that we geologically sound and you
appreciate it better. God in Christ achieved a work
not to give us things, but to give us God.
So God was in Christ giving us God by everything Christ did.
So the invitation is not to cometo things.

(01:06:48):
That's what God is telling Israel, that because they came
to a good land and they did not understand why I brought them to
this good land, that the goodness of the land replace me
in their hearts, so that I am the true living water.
But they have forsaken me and they are chasing other things.
So when we chase our pleasure outside of God, we become

(01:07:09):
hiddenness. Hiddenness to someone who lives
for pleasure. He wants to have sex.
You have it. He wants to eat, he will eat.
He wants to travel for vacation uselessly with no purpose.
No, he will go. Anything that excites his flesh
is what he does. Anything and everything is what

(01:07:31):
he does. Because we are part, we have
contributed to that problem. So today we don't even have
Christians who can say like Paulsaid that godliness with
contentment is great game. We can't we don't have
Christians like that is they give me give me give me so some
people don't even know how to stay in a job that pays less

(01:07:53):
than their expectation and see that God is helping them to
acquire skills for where he's taking them.
They can't see it because we areexaggeration.
If it is not good, we are so a fake it to make it.
I know I know my rights. I'm a degree holder, but
sometimes God is saying, yes, we're a degree holder, but where
I've put you, there's an experience you need.

(01:08:17):
There's somebody you must meet. It's like Naomi and Ruth.
Ruth left her hometown and followed Naomi.
She says where you go, I'll go. Where you die, I will die.
In other words, where you die, I'm not living even after your
death. Where you die in the town and
the city where you die, I will stay there until I also die.

(01:08:40):
Loyalty to death. So when you die, I will die
since your God. She was a Moabite.
She was not used to the Israelites God, but she says
this your God will be my God. So you know God's reward for him
orchestrated it in such a way that if we read the scripture
closely in Rule chapter 2 and 3,she didn't plan to glean in
Boaz's field. That's why when she retained

(01:09:01):
Naomi asked them in whose field did you glean today?
So I gleaned in a sentiment called Boaz is near to us, our
kings and Redeemer. My God, God orchestrated it.
I'm sure when she was leaving some of her friends in, you
know, would have posted on theirstatus on WhatsApp.

(01:09:24):
Ruth is taking a silly decision.Foolishness gone on rampant.
Hello live from Moabites TV. One of our daughters has left
our Moabites land and his journey with a woman.
Now think about it, in our day people will call you and say I
think Naomi's case how can one woman lose both husbands, I mean

(01:09:46):
both children. Everybody that married her son
have lost their husbands and youare still there must be a case
operating. A pastor will tell you there
must be a case. So one time I came and I
realized something. Sometimes, instead of telling
people who have crossed 40 that the Spirit is behind their
singlehood, we should rather congratulate them that at faulty

(01:10:08):
their salvages. Am I telling the truth?
I'm not telling the truth sometimes.
The person is faulty, still not married.
We should commend their virginity that you are faulty
and you are not promiscuous, although you are still believing
God. I think that is something to
commend. That is something to commend.

(01:10:32):
You are still faulty. And you are not going to become
a. Baby Mama, because people are
under pressure that if a man is not coming, go to Spain, bank,
buy a Spam or Esperantosa or someone you don't know.
What if he's the next serial killer Bin Laden has?
Get his pen and you are the one about to hatch that egg.

(01:10:53):
My God. Bin Laden.
Bin Laden reloaded. Because we don't.
We don't know the end. Of what God wants us to become.
That everything God did in Christ was not to give us

(01:11:14):
incentives to make us happy in this life.
It was to give us God. And when we don't put this?
In the right context. That's when we choose pleasure
outside God and becomes destructive. 2nd Corinthians.
Chapter 5. You know this.
Second Corinthians 518. When it says that we are new and

(01:11:34):
you know the second Corinthians chapter 5 and seven says what
same reasons 57 if anyone be in Christ, he's a new creation.
All things are passed away. Behold, all things are become
new. Then look at the next phase.
Look at what he's saying. All things are of God, all
things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself, not to

(01:11:59):
heaven. Those I put on my status
recently that Jesus did not die to save sinners who continue to
treasure things and not God, andhe did not die to.
Save people who want. To go to heaven if it happens
that Jesus is not there because a lot of your goal is heaven.
But Jesus didn't die to bring usto heaven.

(01:12:21):
He says God reconciled us to Himself.
So the end goal of our. Salvation is that we have God.
Second Peter, chapter 3, verse 18.
First Peter, 318. First Peter 318 First Peter 318.
Everybody watch this. For Christ.
Also had suffered once for sins, they just for the unjust that he

(01:12:45):
might bring us to God. That's why Jesus died.
He didn't die to give us a car. He came so we can have God.
That's the Bible says that he became our peace.
Reconciliation means that two people were fighting and we have
reconciled them back together. We were on we were not on good

(01:13:09):
terms with God because of our sin.
Our sins separated us from God. So when Jesus came to die, he
came to remove the barrier that separated us from God so we can
have God and restful. The reason why we are chasing
lesser joys is that we've not seen that the end of our
salvation is to have God. And that's why we love Paul.

(01:13:35):
Because we've. Not seen.
You see, when we exploit the. Pleasure outside God.
That's what the problem is. So God knows we need a
boyfriend. He knows he's not ignorant of
it, and that's why every time. You pray to me, he'll tell you
it is done. Because when you know the Bible
says that Jesus on the cross in Psalms, he died the lonely death

(01:13:58):
on the cross so we could have meat.
So he even died for our spouses, the spouse, our half on the
cross. Jesus died for my spouse, so my
spouse is already provided. But I don't come to God because
I. Want a good spouse?
I come to God because I want God.

(01:14:23):
I know This is why preaching youlike.
And that's our generation. We have Christians who have
plunged themselves into decadence because they've not
desired and treasured this all satisfying God.
Above all things, we are lookingfor jobs.
And the job will not make you happy.

(01:14:44):
How many of you have ever so cleared?
They wanted something because they were.
Like this this it the first timeI got an iPhone.
I'm like it's now. I know you want to go to Dubai,
you will get to. Dubai and say, is this it?
You'll be surprised it's a. Very.

(01:15:06):
It's a desert that has hikes a. Desert of skyscrapers.
That's it. That's Dubai.
Desert of skyscrapers and lightsthat comes on in the evening.
That's it. And what?
And heat. That's it.

(01:15:27):
I know you don't like what I'm saying.
Efficiency 1/3. Oh, the chief end of our
selfishness. That will have God blessed be
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us
with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

(01:15:51):
Why, according as He had chosen us in Him before the foundation
of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before
Him in love, verse 5 having predestinated us onto the
abduction of children by Jesus Christ to Himself.

(01:16:14):
Not to heaven. He abducted.
Us he predestined. Us.
He chose us to bring us to himself.
That's the emphasis. Himself.
So why are we chasing Les Adjoins?
Is because. Today, what God is doing in

(01:16:36):
today's series. Is that the veil that doesn't
make you see God? That's all.
Satisfying is being pewed off. If I'm a pastor and I don't.
See that God wants to satisfy me.
I will do dubious things to increase the number of manners.

(01:17:00):
Can I show you something some ofyou are pursuing?
Certain careers pursuing certainambitions simply because you are
not satisfied with God. If you ever sit down to do an
evaluation of. Why you think you need the
things you need? You realise that 95% of the

(01:17:22):
things you need has nothing to do.
Why do you want first class? It has nothing to do with God.
What did James? Say about finding God as.
All satisfying James. Let's no man say when he's

(01:17:45):
tempted. I.
Am tempted of God, for God cannot tempt.
God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted he any man.
So some of you think that the day you and the lady were locked
up in the room, God was testing your resolve.
God doesn't do such foolish things.
Am I the one thing he said God doesn't tempted?
No, I want to. When the thing happened, God was
testing to see if I was no. James is going to tell us what

(01:18:11):
brings. These temptations says so when
you are tempted, never say God was testing you.
I'm not ever thought you were tempted one day and you felt God
was testing your resolve. Don't be shy.
Raise your hand, yeah? But it says God cannot be
tempted with evil and he. God doesn't paint because the

(01:18:33):
word. Tempt here is like to.
Lure to lure somebody into something.
God doesn't lure you into things.
He divinely orchestrates your steps.
He doesn't lure you. There's 14 but.
Every man that is tempted, he's tempted and he's drawn.

(01:18:54):
Away. Let me read it.
Well, but every man is tempted when he's drawn away of his own
lasts. And you know the word lasts is
the word for hedonism. People who live.
For pleasure, so it means. When you are living for
pleasure, that's what drops intoyou like pleasure.
So it's drawing into temptation. So when you are tempted, it's a.

(01:19:18):
Product of being. Drawn by your own lasts not
somebody's last. So someone's last doesn't empty.
That's why everybody battles differences.
Can you move away from that point?
Yes, please. Says when you are drawn by your
own last you are enticed. Then what happens verse 15 then

(01:19:39):
when last had conceived? Conception here means that it
takes time for last to conceive. It doesn't happen one day.
To conceive means a process has happened.
Conception is physical conception.

(01:19:59):
Biological conception is when copulation has taken place.
When copulation takes place, semen is deposited.
When it is all this is process. It's a very long process for
someone to get pregnant. Several things are taking place
and conception means that. Like the woman takes the seed,

(01:20:22):
she supplies necessary temperature, necessary
environment, necessary oxygen, necessary food to the child for
the child to be able to grow normally.
So your last problem is a desire.
That is a seed you have carried into your spiritual room and you

(01:20:43):
are supplying it with oxygen, water and food.
How do you do that? Meditation.
Nobody falls by mistake. Nobody falls by mistake when you
check the scriptures. You.
Realize that anybody that was. Presented with a mistake

(01:21:05):
temptation, it didn't suffice. Whereas Joseph, he was not
meditating on 41st wise but us. That's why it was not
appetizing. It had never crossed his mind.
Can I ask a simple question? Will you kiss a madman?
Why? OK, but the day God open so eyes

(01:21:27):
to show you the things you've been crashing on the entities.
The things you have laid beside. That day you were in the hotel.
It didn't just. Happen though it was a product

(01:21:48):
of meditation thinking he says last conceives last has
conceived what it conceives it gives forth that one bringeth
forth is like giving birth. That's what the Bible says he
brought forth. Brought is a rendition of brain.
So your last has. Given you a baby and the.
Baby last that has been conceived brings is called sin.

(01:22:13):
So when you sin is because you took a desire you should have
banished and supplied it with life.
So it brought you a baby called Sin, and when this your baby
came, he was already an assassinat conception, and this your.
Baby was conceived. And he brought you death.

(01:22:38):
Do you know why? Think I'll end with this when
you read Psalm 51 in Psalm. 51 David is praying.
And talking to God after he had slept with the Sheba.
So. It is a Psalm asking God for the

(01:22:59):
sins. Asking God for forgiveness of
the sin of adultery and listen yet in the.
Whole of the sound. David doesn't mention
fornication or adultery. The whole of the sun is not
there and I was wondering David, you are asking God for
forgiveness for the sin that youhave committed and yet you have

(01:23:22):
not mentioned the same. Can we go through some 51 quick
to achieve musician a son of. David when later the.
Prophet came unto him after he had gone.
Into Bedsheba this. Is the preamble for the sound.

(01:23:46):
Have mercy on me, oh God, according to thy loving.
Kindness, according onto the multitude of thy tender mercies,
blots out my transgressions. What's me thoroughly from my
iniquity and cleanse? Me for my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgression, and my sin is
ever before me. That's all against thee.

(01:24:09):
Thee. Only David understood something.
David understood something. It means that because at this
time what David had done and become public, so people are
talking about it. David was not interested in what
people thought because he knew that sin is first.

(01:24:31):
This was horizontally, but I wastesting you.
OK, Sin is first. It's first vertical before
horizontal. Do you know why when you sin,
you don't want to ask for forgiveness of sin?
Because you didn't understand that before anything it was

(01:24:55):
called your head. Every fall into sin.
Is not about what you did necessarily, it's about the fact
that you have heard God. So you are thinking you have had

(01:25:17):
God believe he said it is. Against you.
You. Only have thy sinned and done
this evil in thy sight, that thou mightest be justified when
you speak and be clear when you judge, That's fine.
Behold, do you know what I feel like David is learning Phase 5?
David is trying to tell God thatLord, I have sinned.

(01:25:39):
I have acknowledged my sin, but actually it is not my fault
because I was shaping, in other words, shaping.
I was shaping in iniquity and insin did my mother conceive me.
What David is saying is I wrote. It in my Bible like this I.
Was reading this what I wrote inmy Bible, in essence, the reason

(01:26:01):
for choosing lesser joys according to David David had
chosen the lesser joy by sleeping with Bathsheba and the
reason he did this was because. It was because of being born in
sin. So do you want David to see
David is pleading? Of course, like something.
That will happen to a guy calledMatthew Bush who was not born
cripple. Someone's mistake made Matthew

(01:26:24):
Bushet a cripple. So that like you, you didn't
say. Babu says that.
One man sinned, and when Adam sinned US1 man, it affected all
of us. It's interesting how David seems
to understand this. He said it was insane.

(01:26:45):
I was shipped in sin at. The point when my parents were
together making me, they did it insane.
What did he say after? As he has not mentioned anything
that he. Has done says, Behold, you
desire truth in the inward part, and in the hidden parts.
You shall make me noise. Page me with high soap.

(01:27:06):
Which was a little plant, that was.
Used to cleanse lepers after they were declared ceremonially
clean and leprosy in the Bible is a typology for sin.
Page me with high soap. And I shall be clean wash.
Me. Now, this washing is not like
cleansing. They're washing here in the
Hebrew connotations of how they wash their clothes.
So it's not like they're sprinkling water.

(01:27:26):
It's like a thorough bathroom. And I shall be whiter than snow
like this. Make me to hear joy.
And gladness. That my boss, which thou has
broken marriage voice passion ofthis passion of this 8, Passion
of this 8. Satisfy me with your sweetness.

(01:27:53):
I'll come back to this eight, back to King James.
Verse 9. I'll put verse 8 and another
verse together for you to see. Hide thy face from my sins and
blot out all my iniquities the same.
Create in how you know this song.
Create in me a clean heart, oh God, and renew a right spirit

(01:28:13):
within me. Verse 11 Cast me not away from
thy presence, and take not the Holy Spirit from me.
Restart unto me the joy of your salvation so.
There's 18 showing us. That I want to taste of your
sweetness again. And if the sun is telling us

(01:28:34):
that, it is the restoration of joy.
Are you following me? Don't get lost So.
You know what David is saying? David is saying God.
The reason why I slept with Sheba is because my joy in you

(01:28:54):
reduced. So restore back that joy.
Another very interesting thing, DVD series you both said like
this, restore unto me the joy ofmy salvation.
It's not your salvation since restore unto me the joy of thine
and otherwise salvation Yeshua. So David is saying that when you

(01:29:17):
restore to me the joy in Jesus, it means when I pick my phone
and the joy in. Jesus is low.
I'll click pawn if. The joy in Jesus.
Is low, I'll order another bottle.
If the joy in Jesus is low, I'llbring in a prostitute.

(01:29:40):
If the joy in Jesus is low, I will look for lesser Joyce,
which will only at the end of the day crush my soul.
And why does Satan do all these things?
Pontos us in first chapter 4. He does all these things to
ma'am you, to God. The reason for lesser?

(01:30:01):
Joys is to make you numb. Why is someone's become numb?
Do you understand he can't feel again It's people seem.
And they can't feel. That they've done something
wrong because their hearts have become patron extra covering so
they can't even perceive anymore.

(01:30:25):
First motivation before I'm close.
When I say the joy of. Your salvation, it's not my
salvation, it is His. The joy of your salvation His.

(01:30:48):
Salvation. He died.
I was scarcely for a righteous man.
Was someone there to die? Scarcely for a good man was
someone there to die, and God commanded his.
Love to us. In that while we were yet yet
sinless means that we were stillsinless when he died.

(01:31:09):
Oh, and what we were sinless we were we were treasuring lesser
joys and presence. Of this who?
Were Sinner saying Bible says that it was a spirit that works
in us. It was called the spirit of
disobedience and pauses and efficiency.
Of the two, we worked. According to the course of this
world. No, no cause of this world.

(01:31:30):
Then he rises. Look, such were some of you.
He tells us the things. When you look at all the things
that he mentions that we were before we came into Christ, they
all have something to do with pleasure.
If I mentioned something called lasciviousness.
No, Luciusness, the Greek word actually is licentiousness.
No licentiousness. When you are driving and you

(01:31:51):
don't. Have license, you see, you drive
trembling. Hey, what if the policeman stops
me? Recently I was driving with two
people and the car bonnets raceda bit and the policeman were in
a traffic and the police said, oh, your bonnet is opened.

(01:32:12):
I said yeah, I know when I take the tent I'll fix it because I
was going. I was tired.
So I was going sleepless. And I don't have license so I
don't even want to get off on the car for them to ask me what
are you wearing slippers? Where is your license?
Ask for Ghana police even if youhave not done anything.
Do we inspect your license? They can stop and say and I was

(01:32:33):
remembering your license, but I'm not laughing, give me your
license. Let me see if you have license.
So I didn't want to get down andI also didn't want to look
tense. I maintained my seats, but
finally. I got down, I I went back to.
I said no, when we take the tail, I'll fix it.

(01:32:54):
Why no license? That's why there are people who.
Practice medicine without license.
And they know that when they arecaught, they'll be in trouble.
So you go to some areas, there'sa small house.
They've used for. A medical centre but they don't
have license. They did, they catch them?
So when there's no license, you do things trembling, but when

(01:33:17):
you have the license for it while you are driving, you
don't. When the policeman says, hey,
what place a license here is it.You are bold.
And the word lasciviousness means that these people who have
this lasciviousness, they have the license for sin.

(01:33:37):
So when they are sinning, they are not trembling.
That's it, he says. Unless when I come again, my God
will humble me among you, and that I shall be well.
Many which I've seen already andI've not repented of the
uncleanness and fornication. Why are they not repented of the

(01:33:59):
uncleanness and fornication? Because of lasciviousness which
they have committed. It means you can be, you can be
having a demonic pleasure and you are not feeling anything.
And after that you renew your license.

(01:34:24):
So there are some people their license for sale doesn't expire
if they have green card. It's like you're going to a
brochure. You don't have accurate.
Base we want immigration. You'll be shaking.
You will shake it because your name.
Is ya manza? By your this you have written

(01:34:47):
Antoinette Yangsen, which is Hardy.
So you are being too careful that when they ask you what's
your name, you will not say yeah, yeah, man.
Oh yeah, you are being careful. So what he delivered us from,
because the foundation for Adam Sin was in Satan presenting a

(01:35:08):
desire greater than God. So when he plunged us into sin,
he plunged us into pleasures that destroys us, and these
pleasures are alternatives to God.
Because if you are giving me a fruit, what is the business of
what has God said? Where were we before we came

(01:35:36):
here? I was ending. 1st Motive 4 First
one to two. Now the Spirit speaketh
expressly. That in the latter times sham, I
wanted to mention Sam. And Shah at the same.

(01:35:58):
Time so sham departs from the faith, giving heat to seducing
spirits, and the doctrine of devils speaking lies in
hypocrisy and having their conscience seared with a hot
iron when the conscience is. Seared with a hot iron.

(01:36:23):
You know what happens? I've never suffered this.
Maybe. An iron burn see at a point you
don't feel. That part of the skin.
Imagine that on a person. I want to say personal
conscience together, my God. Imagine that on a person's
conscience. It means God cannot even appeal

(01:36:43):
to his conscience when he's doing.
Something God wants to prick him.
But God can't you know why? What interests me is this word
seducing spirits. This seducing spirit is not
sexual. In the context of the Greek
connotation. The word seducing spirit is not.

(01:37:05):
It doesn't have anything to do with sex.
Let me give you a picture of what seducing spirit looks like
in the in the people. Culture in the Greek.
You know if a shepherd before weshould come.

(01:37:26):
I really said I want a very black person, but that would be.
Very offensive. That's OK.
So these are he's black. I was going to use him as the
one who distracted the sheep, but you don't I'll be the one to
distract the sheep. So hey, go home, bra.
So this his sheep. That's like you don't want to be

(01:37:47):
part of this. You want female sheep to sheep.
So leadership. So I'm sorry, what seducing
speed looks like? So seducing spirit is that this
is the this is the shepherd. Then someone shows up, distracts

(01:38:07):
the sheep to take the sheep out of the fold.
Now seducing spirits. So Jesus is our shepherd, but
the action? In the work of seducing.
Spirits is to distract us from God.
That is what it means to seduce. Now, seduction, so they said
that's what he's talking about here, is anything that distracts

(01:38:30):
you from your pursuit of God. And he said when that happens,
you have a seared conscience. Take your sheep back.
Sheep. Hey, seducing spirits.
Seducing spirits. So actually seducing spirit is

(01:38:55):
counter. Pasture so for example, and I'm
teaching you this when someone comes on online or you meet
somebody or another pastor somewhere presents so pleasure
is good. We are here there or Bianca say
we are sitting here there when you say we are here there, but
here indeed we are see the nature and will not pleasure in
God and be excited in God. So any teaching contextually

(01:39:22):
that swears you off and distracts you from God.
And then he called it doctrines of the force.
So this is your actual pastor. I have been distracted from it.
That's what seduces president. So why must you find your

(01:39:43):
contentment in God? If you don't find your
contentment in God, Lesser Joycewill seduce you into other
pleasures that destroys you. How?
Many of you have seen the foundation of all addictions.
It is no contentment or low contentment in God.

(01:40:03):
That's. What I can to show you tonight.
Doesn't this sound familiar about the Seducing Spirit?
In the God God had given an instruction don't eat from this
tree. But when the serpent came, he

(01:40:25):
said, oh, history to make you wise.
Old God says don't have. Marriage before sex.
No. God says don't have sex before
marriage and the. Devil tempts you, your desires

(01:40:46):
only. God said to me collusions once
says all things were made by Him, then he says all things
were made for him, including your pleasures, including your.
Emotions. So your emotions.
Were made by him and for Him. Why are you chasing money

(01:41:12):
outside God? God gives us money to use in
God. Glorifying ways.
And God exalting us to prove to money it can never be our God
and the. Reason why you your money when

(01:41:35):
you get money is when your. Salary comes back.
I saw a perfume at at Django. I've got to get it.
I saw a bikini. I need to buy.
I saw a wig and the wig you earn4000.
The wig is 3002 and you know I want to buy the wig for all that

(01:42:01):
is in the world. The last of the eyes, the last
of the flesh, and the pride of life.
The pride of life is so that youwear that way when you come to
church. Blessed be the man, oh the Lord.
Then you are the one leading theworship.

(01:42:21):
He is worthy to be praised. And our door they want to buy
rings. I wonder why people would like
like this lion skull. Why you are, Lord of the rings,

(01:42:51):
Jesus, all satisfying Jesus, help us to see that you are.
Not angry and you are not against.
Our true happiness and satisfaction in fact in.
Matthew Chapter 5 I've. Finished praying in Matthew

(01:43:14):
chapter 5 says The Beatles says blessed like there's two blessed
are the. Points all the.
Way blessed, blessed, blessed isalso transmitted happy.
Happy are the poor in spirit fordears.
Is the Kingdom of heaven, that'sfor happy are those who are

(01:43:36):
mourning, for they shall be comforted.
Happy are the meek. For they shall inherit.
The earth. Happy are they who hunger and
thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.
Happy are the merciful foundation of the mercy, happy

(01:43:58):
at the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Happy at the peacemakers, for these are all the children of
God. Happy are those who are
persecuted. For righteousness sake, for.
This is the Kingdom of heaven. Happy are thee when men reveal
them and persecute them, and sayall man of evil against you

(01:44:18):
falsely for my sake, rejoice andbe exceeding glad.
It is not just be glad, exceed gladness.
Why greatest reward in heaven this state?
He goes on. The sort of years so God.

(01:44:39):
Put us here to preserve the earth.
But we have launched in demonic excitement and pleasure those of
you who want to take and those of you who have legal and
Commonwealth. Have you wondered?
Have you ever wondered what theyget?
The energy, the dancing, the South.

(01:45:02):
And the nakedness, it is all because joy in God is law.
That's why we chase all these things.

(01:45:27):
So today I leave you with a prayer.
I wrote a prayer. Let me read it for you.
You ready for the prayer? I wrote a prayer and I want us

(01:45:55):
to pray this prayer together, Father of Glory.
I want to hear you, Father of Glory.
I believe with all my heart thatthe reason you sent your holy
Son Jesus Christ to die, that bloody, cursed, vicarious death

(01:46:23):
was not. To give me.
Trinkets. Do you know what trinkets are?
Trinkets are like those little little shiny jewels, but the
easy game is. So Jesus didn't come to die that
curse death. To give us trinkets.

(01:46:51):
Not cars. Not.
Houses. Not fleeting.
Pleasures that furnish with the morning mist and have no.
Eternal value. No.
You sent him to die. To be buried.

(01:47:11):
And to rise. Again, so I might have you, not
as a distant idea, not as a religious duty, but as my all
satisfying. Treasure.
My portion, my joy, my exceedingdelights.

(01:47:32):
Oh God of mercy, God of pardon, forgive me.
Forgive me for treating you as ameans to watch my flesh craves.
Forgive me for blasphemy, for using you to get what I love.

(01:47:55):
Instead of loving you as my greatest gifts, I repent.
I turn from the shadow waters ofearthly satisfaction.
And the shallow waters of sensual.
Gratification and I throw myselfinto the ocean of your glory.

(01:48:18):
You are my price. Not the path to gain, but the
game itself. Not the way to joy, but the joy.
Thank. You God, for what you have
accomplished in Christ, not merely to.

(01:48:39):
Rescue me from wrath. But to bring me to you to open
my eyes. To your words.
To awaken my soul to see you andto treasure you, and to know
that you are better than life itself.

(01:49:03):
Make my heart one that treasuresyou so supremely in pain.
In pleasure. In plenty, in loss.
Never, never let me settle for dust, the dust of this world

(01:49:27):
when I've seen the King in all his beauty.
Blessed be your name now and forevermore.
Amen. Put your hands together for
Jesus. Amen.

(01:49:50):
Father, thank you. Father, thank.
You I see God healing 6 people. Six people.
Hear me? Stop trying to use things.

(01:50:12):
