Second Peter, chapter 1. Think from verse 15.

Second Peter 115, 16. For we have not followed
cunningly devised fables. When we made unto, when we made
known unto you the power and thecoming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
but were eyewitnesses of his glory and majesty.

Next verse for we have next verse 17 for we for he received
from God the Father honor and glory when they came unto him.
Such a such a voice from the excellent glory saying, this is
my beloved son, in whom I'm wellpleased.
Verse 18. This voice we heard when we were
with him, and this voice which came from heaven, we heard when

we're with him in the holy Mount.
Verse 19. And we have also a more sheer
word of prophecy, say, a more sheer word of prophecy.
Are you hungry? A more sure word of prophecy.

Whereunto ye do well, that ye take heed, say, take heed as
unto a light that shineth in thedark place, until the day dawn,
and the day star arises in your heart.
Then the verse 20 says, knowing this first, that no prophecy of

scripture is of any private interpretation, change the
version for us. The main thing to keep in mind
is that no prophecy of scriptureis of a matter of private

opinion to another Bible in basic English.
Or. Occupation.
You must understand this at the outset.
Interpretation of Scriptural prophecy requires the Holy
Spirit, for it does not originate from someone's own
imagination. What's the Bible means by no

scripture or no prophecy? No scripture of prophecy or no
prophecy of scripture is by any man's private interpretation.
No, people take the Scriptures and let the scripture say what
it is not saying. And that's why Passion is
telling us that BB is being conscious of this, being

conscious in the 1st place, thatno man by himself may give a
special sense to the words of the prophets.
So you can't use your own mind to interpret the scriptures.
You would make a mistake, because remember we saw in Peter
again. That says that.

Holy men were moved and they wrote the scripture.
So there were People were moved by the Spirit to write.
People were moved by the Spirit to.
You know they were. Inspired, as Paul says to
Timothy, all scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and
the word inspiration is to your new stores.
That means God briefed all scripture, not some scripture.

All scripture is, is, you know, given by God's inspiration.
So the Scripture or the Bible isinspired by God.
That's that's one of the major things that you have to
understand that the Scriptures are inspired by God.
So to interpret the Scripture, you know, he says we need the

Interpretation of scriptural prophecy requires the Holy

Scriptures. You know the Holy Spirit must

one of the I taught on the ministers of the Holy Spirit,

Spirit that brings the meaning of what Jesus said to us.
Jesus said I have many things totell you, but you cannot bear
them. Now the word bear is Bastazo and
bastazo is the word that is usedto describe a Libra carrying his

tools to his sides to do his construction.
So just saying that I have many things to tell you, but the
capacity to take those words andtake them like equipments you
need to do a building project, it's not there.
But when the Holy Spirit comes, then he says He'll remind you of
all things, and he will lead youinto.

All truth, it means the Holy Spirit is the means by which we
are able to pick the Word of Godand and bring it to the
construction, the construction sites of our lives and build
something significant with our lives by the Word.
Don't go too far, Peter said. All scripture is given by the
inspiration of God, and it is profitable for doctrine, for

reproof, for correction, and forinstruction in righteousness,
that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished
unto all good works. It means that when I pick the
word of God and I apply it to mylife, like the way Jesus said to
his disciples, it's like now picking the tools, the spanner,
the screwdrivers, picking the screws, the bolts and not the

spirit level and bringing those things into my life, I'm able to
construct something meaningful out of my life.
And that's what Peter is saying that I'm sorry.
Paul says to Timothy that you'llbe truly finished.
Go there, truly finished. On to all good works, not some

good works. Now it means that that the man
of God may be perfect. The word perfect means lacking
nothing. Some people say thoroughly
furnished, but the word there isno thoroughly.
It's thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Now when you look at this Scripture, he said that the man

of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished, truly
furnished means that. Remember, he's coming from
telling us, he's talking about the Bible, He's talking about
God's word. Is that those of the people who
apply the Scriptures, and when the rebuke of the Scripture is
coming, they receive it wholeheartedly.
When the correction of Scriptureis coming, they receive it

wholeheartedly. When the instruction of right in
righteousness is coming, they receive this, this word.
The Bible says that the ensuing effect is that they will be
truly furnished, lacking nothingfor every good work.
Now the word furnished is a veryinteresting.
Greek word you. Know in Paul's day, there are

two kinds of boats There were the.
Boats that were used for normal,you know, normal rounds on small
lakes and streams and rivers. But when that same ship was
going to be used for international business and

affairs, that same ship was upgraded.
So in the upgrade they add the mast, the they add engines.

it can be used on mighty waters.That's what Paul is saying.
So what the word of God is will do to your life is that it is

your life, but your life with more accessories that makes you
more profitable. Now he's now the analogy he's

The word truly finishes exatiso.Now the effect of this now is in

verse 18, look at verse 18 says when this happened.

And we know that ships are propelled by the wind.

mast and it propels the ship. We know from Scripture that the
wind represents the Spirit. So what Paul is telling Timothy

is because you are not reading the Scripture.
The written word was given to reveal the living Word and you
cannot encounter the living wordoutside the written word.

You are just reading, reading that's the washing.
But in devotion is one verse, 2 verses you are feeding.
So the two go hand in hand. So people do devotion, they
don't do Bible reading, some do Bible reading, they don't do
devotion. That's who is important.

That's why even after doing devotion.
Even if you don't read, don't read like some 2 chapters or
some 3 chapters because it washes you.
That's what Paul is saying. He says that when this word.
When you when you receive this word, it will put your life in

check. But you know what Peter is
saying. Peter is saying that when Jesus
appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration and they had

they had an amazing experience. And in this experience Peter

and beginning from Moses, Jesus expanded to them all the things
concerning himself. So for Moses to make sense
Jesus, for the prophets to make sense, Jesus.

for experiences and not to genuinely know the scriptures.

It is not fame. So what you anchor your life on
as a young person is God's weight, is God's weight.

People don't even know that friendship with God.
It's in His word. You can't know.
You can't be God's friend where you don't know his weight.
This is the secrets of the Lord.The friendship of the Lord
belongs to them. That's love Him and He will show
them His covenant. How does God show us His
covenant? You don't dream God's covenant.
You read the covenant. But because you are his friend,

when you read his word, it makesmore meaning.
It makes more sense. You're able to appreciate it
better. You don't dream God's words.
That's why everyone you wake up from a dream, to properly
interpret a dream, you need his word, else you'll be in trouble.
But you see, we we have a generation of people that they

like their feelings I feel and you know, and this new age
mentality is also creeping into the church.
I feel positive energies. You are not correct.
The lights be with you. What light may the force be with
you. You are now Anakin Skywalker.

Congratulations and all your life on the word In Matthew
Chapter 7 Bible says that the wise man just was telling a
story. Says the wise man is like the
one who built his house on a rock.
The rains came, the floods came,the wings beat the house, yet it

stood firm. The same predicaments that
happened to the house on a rock happened to the house on the
sand. It means in life we are not
excused and exempted from troubles, but what your life is
anchored on is what gives you strength and tenacity to go
through the storms and the difficulties of life.

So someone will lose a child andwould walk away from God.
You will lose a child and your faith increases.
It's the same predicaments. Someone loses a parent and they
are. You lose a parent and you are.
It's like you. You cannot be pressured.
You can't. It's like maybe you will be die,
maybe me. No, I will be die.

But my life is not anchored in how I feel.
It is anchored in what God's Word I said.
That's when you realize that when an unbeliever is dying and
you pray, usually the intervention is quicker because
most of the precious in the sight of God is the death of the
believer. The person is born again and

he's dying. So God is not interested in
intervening. I didn't say it's that's what
his wife says. I didn't say it.
So you are angry, God, Why? But the person is going to a
better place and you are here. You are angry with God.
It's because you don't understand.
The precious in the sight of Godis the death of his sins.

But when an unbeliever is dying,God is at a loss, so he wants to
find a way so that they live, sothey can be born again.
But your auntie is born again, and she's dying sometimes, like
you are praying and is not working, because precious in the

satisfaction such that job or nojob, you are fine.

because you don't have a job. You will not sleep with somebody

to get a job because you understand there's there's an
understanding that has come fromGod's Word.

know that the outcomes of your life is determined by what God
