Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey y'all, and welcome back to All Things Cleaning, the
product where we roll up our sleeves and tackle cleaning
the smart way. Whether you're freshening up your home or
running the cleaning business, We'll walk you through it step
by step, from dusty corners to messy kitchens. We've got tips, tricks,
and a little motivation to make every job easier. Grab

(00:24):
your gear. We're diving in and making cleaning simple, doable,
and maybe even a little bit of fun. So now
let's talk a little bit more about style, you know, right,
So even people even have or we even have a
cleaning style, and it's a style that really comes from

(00:46):
our overall personality, I think. But this is what I've
come up with. So we're going to find your perfect
cleaning style. Now that we have conquered the men hurdle
of approaching cleaning with a positive mindset, right, let's go
ahead and jump into a crucial aspect of making cleaning

(01:08):
a sustainable and enjoyable part of your life. To take
a deep breath on that one, because I also own
a cleaning company and man, sometimes sometimes it gets hard,
but listen, it is still enjoyable and there's satisfaction, kind
of like you just got through cutting the grass. You know,

(01:28):
you look back at what you just the grass. You
just cut this all nice and clean and not clean
but nice, and you know, trimmed up, it looks great.
Immediate satisfaction. Cleaning can be the exact same way, but
even more so so understanding your own cleaning personality, right,

(01:50):
that's what we're gonna do. Just as there's no one
size fits all approach to fashion or diet, there's no
single right way to clean. Ignoring your individual prefer and
trying to force yourself into a cleaning style that doesn't
suit you is a recipe for disaster, or at least
for consistent cleaning failure. The key is to find the

(02:12):
cleaning style that resonates with you, one that feels less
like a chore and more like a personalized process. So
we can broadly categorize cleaning personalities into several distinct types,
Identifying which one or which combin nation best describes you

(02:34):
is the first step to crafting a cleaning routine that
actually works for you and that you can stick to.
Don't feel confined to these categories. They're designed to be
starting points, springboards for self discovery. I feel free, so
I feel free, and you should feel free to mix

(02:55):
and match elements to create a uniquely you cleaning appro
So this isn't about me. It's about you, the meticulous organizer.
You know, in my world everything's about me. But today
I'm loosening up a little bit. It's about you, the
meticulous organizer. The personality type thrives on order and precision,

(03:17):
and that is not me. I just want you to
know that. For meticulous organizer, cleaning isn't about surface level
cleanliness is about achieving a state of perfect organization. Every
item has its place, that every surface is particulously polished,
and the entire process is approached with a systematic, almost

(03:37):
ritualistic approach. This isn't necessarily about spending hours cleaning. It's
about efficient and deliberate cleaning. For the meticulous organizer, the
process is as important as the result. They'll likely enjoy
decluttering as much as cleaning meticulously. This is my wife

(03:58):
right here, meticulously organized closets, drawers, and shelves. They find
satisfaction in the visual appeal of a perfectly organized space,
and the act of cleaning itself becomes a form of mindfulness.
They might even color coordinate their cleaning supplies. So here's
some tips for the meticulous organizer. Invest in high quality,

(04:21):
aesthetically cleaning, pleasing cleaning supplies, use labeled containers, and organize
to maintain visual order. Break down large cleaning tasks into smaller,
manageable steps. Plan your cleaning session in advance. Schedule specific
times for specific tasks. Consider using a cleaning checklist to

(04:42):
ensure nothing is overlooked. Don't be afraid to spend time
perfecting a particular task. The end result will be worth it.
Embrace the joy of perfectly organized space. It's a testament
to your dedication and precision. All right. So the next one,

(05:02):
this is what I call the efficient sprinter. This personality
type value speed and efficiency above all else. They're not
afraid to get the job quickly, get the job done quickly,
employing effective techniques and tools to minimize time spent on cleaning.
They're masters of multitasking, often tackling multiple tasks simultaneously to

(05:24):
maximize their cleaning productivity. For the efficient sprinter, cleaning is
a task to be conquered, not a leisurely activity. So
let's get in there and let's get it done, and
let's get it done right. The efficient sprinter prioritizes results
over perfection. While they aim for cleanliness, they're less concerned

(05:46):
with achieving flawless organization. Their focus is on speed and efficiency,
using cleaning hacks and shortcuts to minimize time spent on
less critical areas. They might use specialized cleaning tools or
products to speed up the process, and there's nothing wrong
with that as long as the process is done and
whatever you just cleaned is clean. So tips for efficient

(06:11):
sprinters utilize cleaning products that are effective and quick acting.
Invest in time saving tools such as microfiber closts. Those
are a must, and they need to be clean okay,
and at some point they won't come clean anymore. Throw
them away. They're cheap, Go get some more. And steam
cleaners prioritize tasks based on their urgency and impact. Learn

(06:35):
cleaning shortcuts such as using baking soda and vinegar for
natural cleaning solutions. Break down large tasks into smaller chunks.
Don't get bogged down in the perfection. Focus on getting
the job done efficiently. Time yourself to track your progress
and strive for improvements so you know see how fast

(06:56):
you're doing it this week and then next week. See
if you know a little bit fare. It's kind of
like a game. It's kind of like the two minute
drill in football, right. The creative cleaner Okay, this personality
type approaches cleaning with a sense of artistry and innovation.
They view cleaning as an opportunity to express their creativity

(07:18):
and personalize their space. They might experiment with different cleaning techniques,
natural cleaning solutions, or even artistic approaches to organization. For
the creative cleaner, cleaning is a way to transform their
home into a reflection of their unique personalities. The creative
cleaner often enjoys incorporating personal touches into their cleaning routine.

(07:42):
They might experiment with essential oils, create a pleasant scent,
use colorful cleaning supplies, or incorporate decorative elements into their
organization systems. They might even create a custom cleaning solution
using natural ingredients. So we've done that in our business,
and today we were inspecting the clean and the team

(08:07):
that cleaned it did such a good job. And when
you walked into this man's house, it smelled like Christmas
because we had used the you know, the oils and
the scent at the end to make it, you know,
smell like a Christmas tree, because he didn't, you know,
he didn't have a Christmas tree, you know, so at

(08:28):
least when he walked in today, it smelled like a
Christmas tree, and it smelled like Christmas. So I think
I thought that was pretty awesome. So tips for the
creative cleaner experiment with different cleaning methods and products, incorporate
essential oils and other did we just do that? So

(08:49):
the next is the minimalist, the menialist maestro. Minimalist maestro.
This personality type value simplicity and functionality above all else.
Their approach to cleaning is characterized by focus an essential
task and a rejection of unnecessary clutter. They prioritize a clean,

(09:12):
function functional space over excessive organization or decoration. Cleaning for
the minimalist is about maintaining a sense of calm and order.

maintaining a streamlined and clutter free lifestyle. Their masters of decluttering,
regularly purging unwanted items to maintain a sense of openness

(09:34):
and tranquility. Their cleaning approach is direct and efficient, focusing
on the essential tasks that keep their space clean and functional.
Here's some tips for the minimalist. Minimalist maestro, say that
three times fast, regularly declutter your belongings, focus on essential
cleaning task rather than getting bogged down and details. Utilize

(09:56):
multipurpose cleaning products. Maintain a simple and functional cleaning routine.
Avoid accumulating unnecessary cleaning supplies. Embrace a sense of calm
and order into your cleaning process. Yes, that's not a
bad deal right there. The Green Guardian, Okay, our company
is pretty much green and eco friendly, just because we

(10:18):
don't like the harsh chemicals unless they're absolutely needed, and
sometimes they are needed. So anyway, the environmentally conscious and
I didn't say that it was because we're environmentally conscious,
but that's part of it. Our biggest issue is with
all of the harsh chemicals is that that sticks around.
It sticks around the house we're using them. The homeowner

(10:41):
that we're cleaning for is having to breathe in these
harsh chemicals and things like that. We don't want that.
And it's also good for the environment. How about that
they are natural cleaning products, reduce waste and prioritize methods
that minimize their environmental impact. For the Green Guardian, cleaning
is an opportunity to protect the planet, and I thought

(11:07):
we were just talking about, you know, cleaning the house.
The Green Garden Hope carefully selects cleaning products and avoiding
those containing harsh chemicals or unsustainable ingredients. They might make
their cleaning solutions using natural ingredients like vinegar and baking soda.
They prioritize reusable cleaning claws and tools, and they strive

(11:29):
to minimize their waste by recycling and composting. I agree
with a lot of that, but at the same time,
you know, there are a lot of companies out there
that now have green cleaning supplies or clean or green

(11:52):
or you know, just stuff that's not harsh. So those
are good. You know, those are good products to get
to and those are available everywhere from Walmart to the
grocery store to your editorial supply company. Tips for the
Green Guardian. Use natural cleaning products made from sustainable ingredients.
To use reusable cleaning claws and tools. Recycle and compost

(12:15):
cleaning waste whichever possible whenever possible. Reduce water consumption during cleaning.
Support companies that prioritize sustainable practices, educate yourself about the
environmental impact of different cleaning products. So, in conclusion, no
matter which cleaning personality most closely aligns with you, remember

(12:41):
that the ultimate goal is to develop a cleaning routine
that works for you. Don't strive for perfection, strive for consistency.
Finding your cleaning style as a journey, not a destination. Experiment,
adapt and adjust your approach as needed until you find
a system that you can stick with and it brings
you a sense of accomplishment and perhaps even joy. Yes,

(13:06):
and remember, a clean home is a happy home, and
a happy cleaner makes the cleaning process that much easier.
And that, my friends, is a true secret to conquering
cleaning that overwhelms us. So I'm none of any of
these types are here, but I'm a combination of at
least three of them. So just remember that. I mean,

(13:30):
we're all different, and we all going to do things
different ways. And some days, you know, I'm all about
speed and some days I'm such a perfectionist on something
small little section that you know, And I don't know
if either one is the perfect way, So somewhere in
the middle is probably good anyway, That's all you know
you got to stay clean. And I hope you enjoy this,

(13:51):
learn a little bit of something from it, and enjoy
a clean house. And I will. I will come back
with some more cleaning stuff real soon. So all take care,
God bless
