Discernment is simply theability to correctly judge the
quality of something.
In the context of this video,we'll mainly be focusing on how
to assess the quality ofchanneled messages.

spiritual teachings andsituations.

When it comes to any kind ofchannel material, there are two
very important questions that weneed to ask ourselves.
Where is this information comingfrom?
How can we tell when someone isrelaying the information clearly
without adding their own spin onit?
There are a lot of channelersout there delivering
contradictory messages, so it'sonly natural to wonder what's

real and what isn't.
First, let's look at thepossible sources of information,
because when listening toChannelers, it can appear that
they're getting data from avariety of places.
Channel material can come frompersonal memories, spiritual
data banks like the Akashic,records from disembodied beings
like guides, angels, demons, orother entities, or directly from

source.
Now I get that on a fundamentallevel, everything is an
emanation from the one divinecapital S source.
And from a human perspective,it's normal to perceive
information as coming fromdifferent places.
Mystical and esoteric teachingsstate that everything that has
happened or will ever happenacross all times, space and

dimensions is retained in a sortof cosmic memory bank.
Think of it like a vast infinitelibrary.
memories of a Single Lifetimecan be thought of as one chapter
of a single book.
Accessing past life memories islike going back to check out
previous chapters of a book.
When someone accesses theAkashic records, it's like

they're going to an aisle in thelibrary grabbing a book off the
shelf and retrieving thatinformation for themselves.
When someone receivesinformation from a being or
entity, that being acts as anintermediary, who finds the

are all examples of what I wouldconsider genuine spiritual
wisdom.
And it's probably no coincidencethat they each convey similar
teachings around the importanceof love and unity.
What I've observed more recentlyis an abundance of so-called

channeled messages that revolvearound doom and gloom and drama
and fear.
True spiritual messages andteachings have always been
focused on love and unity.
Love thy neighbor, as you loveyourself, do no harm.
Only love is real.
Those fundamental messages areconsistently delivered by
different spiritual teachings intheir own unique ways.

So that begs the question, wheredoes the doom and gloom stuff
come from, and who are theentities that Channelers rely on
to retrieve information from thegreat Cosmic library?
Channelers often talk abouttheir guides.
But what does that really evenmean?
How can we tell if channeledinformation is coming from an
authentic place of love or froma lower vibrational source?

Let's break it down the simplestway possible.
There exists a wide spectrum ofbeings on one end, high
vibrational beings on the otherend, low vibrational beings.
Pure love emanates the highestfrequency and is the
foundational unit of everythingin existence.
Although this may not appear tobe true from our human

perspective.
Everything and everyone is madeout of love at its core.
What we call darkness, evil,bad, or low vibrational is a
lack of love being expressed.
Darkness is not its own thing,independent of light.
Darkness is the absence oflight.
Hatred or evil is not its ownthing.

They are the absence of love.
Everything exists on thespectrum of love, but not
everything expresses the sameamount of love.
Evil happens when the love thatexists at one's core is

world predictions coming from?
What's the likelihood thatmessages evoking intense,
negative emotions are comingfrom a unifying or loving place?

towards an understanding that weare all connected and all

originate from the same capitalS source.
They teach us that the ideas ofgood and bad are based on our
misperception of the true natureof reality.
And above all else, authenticspiritual teachings remind us
that because we all come fromthe same Capital S Source, each
of us has the direct connectionto all the information we need

through our own intuition.
One way to look at Earth is thatit's a place where souls
incarnate to learn specificlessons from specific
experiences that aren't readilyavailable elsewhere.
That's one of the reasonsdifferent spiritual teachers
call this place Earth School.
That's because that's what earthis.
It's a school.
Different souls have differentlevels of development and

experience.
This is a lot like our currentschool system that segregates
students by grade.
From from that perspective, wecan think of true spirit guides
like mentors or positive rolemodels who have more knowledge
and are further along in theireducation.

trying to learn multiplication.
A good mentor isn't going tostand over my shoulder and
whisper all the answers to allof my assignments in my ear.
A good mentor will only give metips and hints about my homework

A good mentor recognizes thatgiving me all of the answers

will only create biggerchallenges in the long run.
'cause if they're giving me theanswers, I'm not actually
learning the fundamental andnecessary skills that I came
here to learn.
A good mentor will allow me tostruggle with memorizing my
timestables and make me put inthe work'cause they understand
the negative consequences thatcan come from developing a
codependent relationship.

Caring about someone's wellbeingand personal development often
means that the best thing youcan do for them is to allow that
person to figure things out ontheir own.
So when I see a channeler wholooks like they're just chilling
in a room full of invisible,enlightened masters who happily
give them all the answers to anyquestion whenever they want, I

get very curious and I make sureto use the discernment practices
that I'll be sharing with youshortly.
And this brings us back to thesecond question about how to
tell if a Channeler ispresenting undistorted
information or if that person iswhat we call a clear channel.
A person's ability to be a clearchannel can depend on a number
of factors like that person'slived experiences, unconscious

biases, the amount of experiencethey have channeling and overall
understanding of the process.
One super important point tomake here is that good
intentions do not and cannotreplace a high level of skill
that applies to channeling asmuch as anything else.
Just because someone has goodintentions, it doesn't

necessarily mean that they are aparticularly skilled channeler,
Don't take anything at facevalue and always listen to
channeled material with acritical ear.
Understand the different waysthat messages can become
distorted.
And above all else, trust yourown inner knowing.
Ask yourself, does this feeltrue to me?
And follow your gut reaction.

Follow the feeling.
Much of what comes through inchanneled messages is simply
unverifiable.
It can't be looked up, nor canwe use our thinking minds to try
to make rational sense of it.
Trust your gut because on a deeplevel, we all have a direct
connection to capital S sourceand the unbelievable amount of

data that it holds.
Our conscious thinking minds aresimply not made to access or
interpret information fromsource in a meaningful way.
But our unconscious mind on theother hand, does have a much
greater capacity to handle largequantities of data.
You've probably heard peoplelike Dr.
Joe Dispenza or Dr.
Bruce Lipton talk about how theunconscious mind controls over

90% of our lives.
That's because it's much betterat analyzing the huge amount of
information that we're taking inthrough our five senses from
moment to moment.
And that's precisely why it's soimportant to trust.
What resonates with you on thelevel of feelings.
The unconscious mindcommunicates with us through
feelings and emotions.
While the conscious mindcommunicates with us through

thoughts and that little voiceinside of our head.
And if you're like me, thatvoice inside your head probably
has a solid track record ofgetting things wrong.
In addition to following ourinstincts, there are some
practical and effective ways toboost our discernment and easily
sort out what messages areworthy of our precious
attention.
When it comes down to it.

Everyone is capable ofchanneling, and I have a little
doubt that most channelers arereceiving messages, but we must
know if that information iscoming from a place of integrity
and if it's coming throughclearly one definition of love
is anything that unites.
That's a great litmus test whenit comes to differentiating
between high and low vibrationalmessages.

Ask yourself, is this messagelikely to bring people together
or create division?
Simple as that.
There's another easy way to tellif a message is rooted in
universal truth.
You should be able to apply thatmessage or teaching directly to
your life and experience apositive effect right away in
the present moment.
That's a clear sign of authenticspiritual wisdom.

If what we focus our attentionon ultimately determines the
quality of our lives, do wereally want to spend our time
consuming material that isn'thelping our soul's growth?
If a message is predictingcatastrophic future events, or
if the contents of that messagedoesn't improve your experience
of life in that moment, then whoknows where it's really coming
from.

It's all good if channelmaterial is captivating and
entertaining, but if the valueof a message lies solely in the
fact that it's entertaining,let's just call it what it is
and leave it at that.
Who said all Channelings had tocontain deep spiritual truths?
Surely not every doom and gloomprediction is coming from a
demon who's trying to captureyour soul.

I think a lot of what we'reseeing today is coming from
well-intentioned people.
Who aren't really clear on whatthey're doing, don't have the
best discernment themselves andaren't highly skilled.
That being said, let's not throwthe baby out with the bath water
because there are almost alwaysnuggets of wisdom and useful
insights that can be gleanedfrom many channeled messages.

So how can we use the situationto our advantage?
How can we begin to strengthenour own intuition and develop
confidence in our own abilitiesto access source knowledge?
I'll be honest.
I listen to Tarot readings,podcasts, and different types of
media that feature channeledmessages and.
I consume that content in a veryspecific and intentional way.

We have to recognize that eventhe clearest, most impeccably
skilled channelers are stillnever going to get everything
right 100% of the time, and it'sgoing to be necessary to discard
anything that doesn't resonatewith our inner knowing.
this isn't an all or nothingblack or white kind of thing.
We must stay connected to thesubtle emotional cues that our

unconscious mind uses tocommunicate with us and trust
that if anything doesn't feelright, then it's not for us.
If a message doesn't resonate,let it go right past you in one
ear and out the other, likewater under a bridge or a cloud
in the sky.
By working with our intuition inthis way.
We're able to strengthen thatintuitive connection.

Think of it like putting reps inat the gym.
Every rep counts, and over timethey all add up.
But this isn't about solelyrelying on our intuition because

We all have the ability tochannel, and if we all have that

weights or a piece of equipment,channeling can only be developed
by going inward and focusing onbuilding a deeper relationship

What's the likelihood thatmessages evoking intense,
negative emotions are comingfrom a unifying or loving place?
higher frequency beings andteachings always point us
towards an understanding that weare all connected and all
(09:30):
originate from the same capitalS source.
They teach us that the ideas ofgood and bad are based on our
misperception of the true natureof reality.
And above all else, authenticspiritual teachings remind us
that because we all come fromthe same Capital S Source, each
of us has the direct connectionto all the information we need
(09:50):
through our own intuition.
One way to look at Earth is thatit's a place where souls
incarnate to learn specificlessons from specific
experiences that aren't readilyavailable elsewhere.
That's one of the reasonsdifferent spiritual teachers
call this place Earth School.
That's because that's what earthis.
It's a school.
Different souls have differentlevels of development and
(10:12):
experience.
This is a lot like our currentschool system that segregates
students by grade.
From from that perspective, wecan think of true spirit guides
like mentors or positive rolemodels who have more knowledge
and are further along in theireducation.

Let's pretend that I'm in third grade
trying to learn multiplication.
A good mentor isn't going tostand over my shoulder and
whisper all the answers to allof my assignments in my ear.
A good mentor will only give metips and hints about my homework
to encourage me to beself-sufficient and think
independently.
A good mentor recognizes thatgiving me all of the answers
(10:48):
will only create biggerchallenges in the long run.
'cause if they're giving me theanswers, I'm not actually
learning the fundamental andnecessary skills that I came
here to learn.
A good mentor will allow me tostruggle with memorizing my
timestables and make me put inthe work'cause they understand
the negative consequences thatcan come from developing a
codependent relationship.
(11:10):
Caring about someone's wellbeingand personal development often
means that the best thing youcan do for them is to allow that
person to figure things out ontheir own.
So when I see a channeler wholooks like they're just chilling
in a room full of invisible,enlightened masters who happily
give them all the answers to anyquestion whenever they want, I
(11:30):
get very curious and I make sureto use the discernment practices
that I'll be sharing with youshortly.
And this brings us back to thesecond question about how to
tell if a Channeler ispresenting undistorted
information or if that person iswhat we call a clear channel.
A person's ability to be a clearchannel can depend on a number
of factors like that person'slived experiences, unconscious
(11:54):
biases, the amount of experiencethey have channeling and overall
understanding of the process.
One super important point tomake here is that good
intentions do not and cannotreplace a high level of skill
that applies to channeling asmuch as anything else.
Just because someone has goodintentions, it doesn't
(12:15):
necessarily mean that they are aparticularly skilled channeler,
Don't take anything at facevalue and always listen to
channeled material with acritical ear.
Understand the different waysthat messages can become
distorted.
And above all else, trust yourown inner knowing.
Ask yourself, does this feeltrue to me?
And follow your gut reaction.

Follow the feeling.
Much of what comes through inchanneled messages is simply
unverifiable.
It can't be looked up, nor canwe use our thinking minds to try
to make rational sense of it.
Trust your gut because on a deeplevel, we all have a direct
connection to capital S sourceand the unbelievable amount of

data that it holds.
Our conscious thinking minds aresimply not made to access or
interpret information fromsource in a meaningful way.
But our unconscious mind on theother hand, does have a much
greater capacity to handle largequantities of data.
You've probably heard peoplelike Dr.
Joe Dispenza or Dr.
Bruce Lipton talk about how theunconscious mind controls over
(13:19):
90% of our lives.
That's because it's much betterat analyzing the huge amount of
information that we're taking inthrough our five senses from
moment to moment.
And that's precisely why it's soimportant to trust.
What resonates with you on thelevel of feelings.
The unconscious mindcommunicates with us through
feelings and emotions.
While the conscious mindcommunicates with us through
(13:40):
thoughts and that little voiceinside of our head.
And if you're like me, thatvoice inside your head probably
has a solid track record ofgetting things wrong.
In addition to following ourinstincts, there are some
practical and effective ways toboost our discernment and easily
sort out what messages areworthy of our precious
attention.
When it comes down to it.
(14:02):
Everyone is capable ofchanneling, and I have a little
doubt that most channelers arereceiving messages, but we must
know if that information iscoming from a place of integrity
and if it's coming throughclearly one definition of love
is anything that unites.
That's a great litmus test whenit comes to differentiating
between high and low vibrationalmessages.
(14:24):
Ask yourself, is this messagelikely to bring people together
or create division?
Simple as that.
There's another easy way to tellif a message is rooted in
universal truth.
You should be able to apply thatmessage or teaching directly to
your life and experience apositive effect right away in
the present moment.
That's a clear sign of authenticspiritual wisdom.
(14:47):
If what we focus our attentionon ultimately determines the
quality of our lives, do wereally want to spend our time
consuming material that isn'thelping our soul's growth?
If a message is predictingcatastrophic future events, or
if the contents of that messagedoesn't improve your experience
of life in that moment, then whoknows where it's really coming
from.
(15:08):
It's all good if channelmaterial is captivating and
entertaining, but if the valueof a message lies solely in the
fact that it's entertaining,let's just call it what it is
and leave it at that.
Who said all Channelings had tocontain deep spiritual truths?
Surely not every doom and gloomprediction is coming from a
demon who's trying to captureyour soul.
(15:28):
I think a lot of what we'reseeing today is coming from
well-intentioned people.
Who aren't really clear on whatthey're doing, don't have the
best discernment themselves andaren't highly skilled.
That being said, let's not throwthe baby out with the bath water
because there are almost alwaysnuggets of wisdom and useful
insights that can be gleanedfrom many channeled messages.
(15:49):
So how can we use the situationto our advantage?
How can we begin to strengthenour own intuition and develop
confidence in our own abilitiesto access source knowledge?
I'll be honest.
I listen to Tarot readings,podcasts, and different types of
media that feature channeledmessages and.
I consume that content in a veryspecific and intentional way.
(16:12):
We have to recognize that eventhe clearest, most impeccably
skilled channelers are stillnever going to get everything
right 100% of the time, and it'sgoing to be necessary to discard
anything that doesn't resonatewith our inner knowing.
this isn't an all or nothingblack or white kind of thing.
We must stay connected to thesubtle emotional cues that our
(16:33):
unconscious mind uses tocommunicate with us and trust
that if anything doesn't feelright, then it's not for us.
If a message doesn't resonate,let it go right past you in one
ear and out the other, likewater under a bridge or a cloud
in the sky.
By working with our intuition inthis way.
We're able to strengthen thatintuitive connection.
(16:55):
Think of it like putting reps inat the gym.
Every rep counts, and over timethey all add up.
But this isn't about solelyrelying on our intuition because
we do have some guide rails,like the questions I mentioned
earlier that we can use to keepus on track.
We all have the ability tochannel, and if we all have that
skill, we could all improve thatskill.
(17:17):
But unlike the gym where thefocus is on an external set of
weights or a piece of equipment,channeling can only be developed
by going inward and focusing onbuilding a deeper relationship
with the self.
The skills we develop whenlearning to channel can have
profound implications on ourlives and can be used to gain
other forms of spiritualknowledge, like past life
memories.
(17:39):
Remembering past lives is afascinating phenomena that's
often misunderstood.
