Ian Vogel (00:00):
What if you're having
experiences in this lifetime
that are directly related todecisions that you made in prior
lifetimes?
Who's to say that we can't enterinto binding agreements at some
point in our soul's journey thatpersists through multiple cycles
of incarnation.
The concept of soul contractsand how they may be secretly
shaping our reality is trulyfascinating.
(00:21):
And I'll be honest, as someonewho believes in free will, I was
pretty skeptical about the ideaof soul contracts for a long
time.
That was until I met awell-known mythical figure on an
ayahuasca journey.
And more recently, when I wasshown a past life where
thousands of years ago, I madean agreement with a group of
sorcerers that had long lastingconsequences.
(00:42):
You're gonna wanna stick aroundfor this one because these
stories might help you discoverhow hidden soul contracts could
be having a big impact on yourlife today.
So let's get into it.
What's up?
I'm Ian with Alternate Timelinesand today I'm gonna be talking
about soul contracts.
(01:02):
I'm gonna be sharing what theyare, what they aren't, and a
couple of personal stories todemonstrate how they've impacted
my life.
I'll also be sharing some tipson how to identify if you have
any lingering soul contracts andsome strategies on how to
resolve them if they are presentin your life.
That'll come later in the video,so make sure you stick around.
(01:23):
If you like this kind of contentand find it valuable, I invite
you to like, share andsubscribe.
It doesn't cost anything and ithelps the channel immensely.
Before we get into the stories,I want to talk a little bit
about exactly what a soulcontract is.
Now, the name pretty much saysit all.
A soul contract is an agreementyou make on a soul level, these
sorts of contracts run muchdeeper than a temporary rental
(01:46):
agreement.
Because the soul is immortal, ifyou make an agreement on a soul
level, it will stay with you andyou'll be bound to that through
multiple lifetimes.
A soul can enter into one ofthese agreements for any number
of reasons, and we can makecontracts with others.
We can also make contracts withourselves if there's something
that on a deep level that wefeel like we need to accomplish
(02:10):
and want to commit to.
These deep soul levelcommitments are usually quite
profound and can have realimplications in our everyday
lives.
And on a soul level, we arebound to the terms of those
agreements that we make untilthose terms are fulfilled or the
contract becomes nullified inone way or another, either
through making a differentagreement or just completely
(02:32):
breaking the contract and makingthat choice intentionally at
some point in the future.
I'll elaborate on that a littlebit more later in the video.
But it's important to note thatsoul contracts aren't
necessarily good or bad When wemake these deep commitments, we
recognize that there are lessonsthat take a long time to learn
and potentially multiplelifetimes.
(02:54):
So in one sense, these soulcontracts are really crucial to
our soul's growth anddevelopment.
That being said, like anycontract, it's important to read
the fine print and know thedetails and think it through
very thoroughly because therecould be some unintended
consequences from the decisionsthat we make to enter these deep
(03:17):
binding contracts.
Initially I was skeptical of thewhole idea of soul contracts.
I believe that we all have freewill, and in my mind at the
time, I thought those two thingswere conflicting.
But I have since had experiencesthat shifted my perspective on
this.
The first experience I hadoccurred in Northern California,
(03:39):
actually over a series ofayahuasca journeys.
This experience happened severalyears ago while I was helping
facilitate ceremonies for anAyahuasca church.
We were at an incrediblybeautiful and secluded space.
I consider it to be sacred.
I spent several weeks there overthe course of two or three years
and had many, many profoundexperiences on that land.
(04:03):
So I'm helping to facilitateceremonies and one night during
the ceremony, I'm doing myregular thing.
I decided to go outside for sometobacco, which is something that
I frequently worked with to helpclear my energy and to help me
navigate the space, uh, moreeffectively.
I go outside, it's dark, there'sbeautiful hilltops.
(04:25):
I'm out looking over them.
It's a clear starry night, nolight pollution out there, like
incredible scene looking outover the hills.
And I sense an energy and anentity approaching me from the
darkness.
After facilitating manyceremonies, I got really used to
encountering and interactingwith entities.
(04:47):
So I reached out to it andstarted communicating with it.
And the mental image that I gotwas of the mythical creature
pan, big goat head, human torso, human arms, and the lower body
of a goat with hoofed feet.
I had no prior experience withPan and very little knowledge
(05:08):
about this mythical creature.
And if I'm being quite honest, Idon't know if that was its
actual form.
Who knows?
Maybe it was just projecting amental image that it thought
that I would recognize and befamiliar with.
I don't know.
But that was the mental imagethat I got was Pan.
We were able to establish a veryclear line of telepathic
(05:31):
communication, and I didn'tsense any dark or malicious
energy from it.
It was just a very neutral sensethat I got when I interacted
with it.
The one thing that did initiallycatch me off guard a little bit
was the fact that it felt likethere was a sense of familiarity
with it.
Like I didn't consciouslyrecognize it, but there was some
(05:51):
part of me that I feel like didrecognize it, and even in the
way that it communicated withme, there was a sense of
familiarity and the ease atwhich we were able to establish
that line of communication.
Also kind of indicates thatthere was some prior
communication or that thiswasn't the first time that we
(06:13):
had opened to that line ofcommunication.
But at that moment, I had noprior knowledge or conscious
recollection of ever having aninteraction with Pan.
So there was a brief feeling outperiod, just kind of sensing
each other's energy a littlebit.
And then it asked me a question,it said, what would you like to
know?
Which, when taking at face valueseems like a pretty benign
(06:36):
question, but as soon as I heardit, I had this deep, resounding
no.
Under no circumstances should Iask any questions to this being,
it was so clear.
Under no circumstances should Iask this being any, any
questions.
Pan.
Immediately recognized the shiftin my energy.
(06:59):
He's like, oh, just chill.
If you have any questions, I cananswer them for you.
Isn't there anything you want toknow or learn about?
Anything at all?
I can provide that informationfor you at a deep, intuitive
level.
I got a sense that he was beingtruthful and that he really
could answer any of myquestions.
(07:19):
I also got the sense that anyinformation that he provided to
me would come at a cost.
This was a relatively briefinteraction.
He asked if I had any questions.
I gave him a firm.
No, uh, there was a little bitmore lingering in that space,
but after that, we both went ourseparate ways.
I didn't really want to havemuch more to do with Pan.
(07:42):
From there, I went back into theceremony and continued to do my
thing.
At some point, there was somedowntime where I was able to
lean into that experience andtry to figure out what exactly
happened there the guidance Ireceived When I leaned into my
intuition was that at some pointin my past, in a past life, I
had asked Pan a question andgotten some information from
(08:03):
him, not realizing how steep theprice for that information would
be, and ultimately, I was notthrilled with the consequences
of that.
Now, I don't know exactly whatthat was, what the details were,
but there was this deepremembrance that, no, do not
interact with this guy.
(08:24):
Do not ask him questions.
Not worth it.
Fast forward an entire year, same group, same space, doing
the same thing.
I go outside and who do I meet?
Pan, he's there.
He doesn't ask me if I have anyquestions.
He knows that it's a hard no,but he made himself present.
Like I could sense him veryclearly.
(08:46):
There wasn't a lot ofinteraction, but I knew he was
there, which, you know, whatever, fine by me.
It's cool.
It's like he's doing his thingand we're doing our thing, but
like as long as he's not cominginto the space or wreaking
havoc, whatever, he's free to dohis thing.
We're all sharing a space insome sense.
(09:06):
But at some point during thatceremony weekend, I shared with
the group of facilitators aboutmy experience with Pan and also
my prior experience with Pan andwhat I learned from that and the
feelings that I got.
Shortly after, one of thefacilitators pulled me aside and
said, oh my gosh, I think Panwas here for me because they
(09:27):
had.
A question that they reallywanted answered and they came
into the ceremony with thisintention of getting this
question answered, not beingspecific about how they were
gonna get that information.
And just on an intuitive level, they knew that Pan was willing
to offer that information tothem, but they weren't
(09:49):
consciously aware that there wasgonna be a price to pay for that
information.
So this facilitator was verygrateful that I shared my story
and that they had a, a betterperspective and knew that maybe
it wasn't the best idea to makethis sort of a contract with
Pan, even though maybe it wasn'tex an explicit contract that
(10:10):
there was going to be a price topay for getting that
information.
I had been to that site inNorthern California multiple,
multiple times and onlyencountered Pan twice, and that
was the extent of myinteractions with that being.
I am super curious and findthese sorts of interactions
(10:31):
endlessly fascinating.
So if you have had an experiencelike this at any point in your
life or have a good juicy storyto tell, leave a comment below
and let's have a conversation.
I, I'd love to hear otherperspectives on this topic.
After my interaction with Pan,it became abundantly clear to me
that yes, soul contracts areindeed a real thing and they can
(10:53):
impact our lives and ourexperiences.
Which leads me to my secondstory, which occurred not all
that long ago.
This was well after I hadstopped doing the ayahuasca
ceremonies.
At this point in my life, I wasliving in Montana and things
were pretty good, but somethingjust felt off and I couldn't
(11:13):
quite put my finger on what wasgoing on.
Like my energy just felt kind oflow and I just couldn't get
momentum in several areas of mylife.
And yeah, I just kind of feltlost and stuck all at the same
time while I don't work withpsychedelics on a regular basis,
and at this point in my life,it's very infrequently, I still
(11:36):
recognize that they can helpgive us a more nuanced and
deeper perspective on certainsituations in our lives.
After struggling with someunknown feeling of stuckness for
several weeks, I got the callingand it seemed appropriate to
work with mushrooms, uh, not tothe extent that I did before,
not the high doses.
(11:56):
But a relatively small dose justto tap in and see what was going
on.
My partner and I set up a littleceremony, got everything ready
to go in our space, took thedoses and settled into our own
meditative little cocoons.
What happened next is somethingI will never forget.
As the mushrooms start to comeon, I feel myself sinking into
(12:19):
that space.
I feel like I'm in a differentbody in a different time, and I
perceive a sound that makes allof the hairs on my entire body
stand on end.
It was the roar of a saber toothtiger.
Don't ask me how I knew whatthat sound was, but I knew
(12:40):
beyond the shadow of a doubtthat that was what I'd heard.
That was one of the most surrealexperiences I've ever had.
And what the mushroom showed meafter that helped me to gain a
better understanding of thesituation that I was currently
going through.
So to summarize what happened, the mushrooms took me back to a
(13:01):
past life.
And I'm not entirely sure howlong ago this life took place,
but if there were saber toothtigers around, it would've had
to have been before the end ofthe last ice age about 13,000
years ago.
So it would've had to have beenat that time or earlier.
and during that life, I was anindigenous person living with my
(13:23):
tribe at the foothills of theRocky Mountains, I think maybe
Colorado, on the eastern slope, maybe Wyoming, somewhere in that
area.
And during that time, theclimate was shifting.
And my clan, my tribe, we weresomehow associated with the
(13:45):
bobcat.
Uh, that was our totem.
We were the Bobcat tribe.
And we lived in a place wherethere was trees and grass, but
there was a lot of trees around.
That's the natural habitat ofthe bobcat.
And for whatever reason, thatwas our habitat as well.
And because the climate waschanging, the trees were
(14:05):
becoming less and less so our.
Area that we typically inhabitedwas starting to shift into more
of a grassland, and climatechange was starting to cause
some issues for us because itwas changing how we lived our
lives due to the change in theenvironment.
There was another group ofindigenous people, another tribe
(14:28):
that started to encroach on ourland or what was typically our
ancestral land.
The other group, their totem wasthe wolf.
So we were the Bobcat clan andthey were the wolf clan, and
they were starting to take overour space because for whatever
reason, wolves are obviouslybigger and more powerful than
(14:52):
bobcats, but I think they dobetter in an environment where
there is fewer trees like theplanes.
Over time, the wolf clan beganto take over our territory and
there wasn't much we could doabout it.
And it finally got to the pointwhere we had to make a decision,
are we going to eitherassimilate with them or they're
(15:13):
going to wipe us out, or we haveto figure out a way to coexist
with them.
We basically had three options.
One to be wiped out, two tobecome slaves, or three, we
could decide to make a soulcontract with the leaders of the
Wolf clan, which was a a groupof sorcerers, essentially.
(15:38):
And in this agreement, we wouldallow them to siphon off some of
our life force energy, and theywould leave us alone.
They would leave us our space, but it was really kind of like
them taking a payment almostlike the mafia, like we were
paying them off with ourspiritual energy so that we
(16:00):
could continue to live.
After much deliberation, theBobcat clan decided that the
third option was the best toenter into this energetic soul
contract agreement and toforfeit a certain percentage of
our energy, of our life force sothat we could maintain somewhat
(16:20):
of a normal lifestyle andcontinue to do what we were
doing.
As I started to see the biggerpicture and recognize and learn
about what happened in my past, things started to make more
sense.
I realized that I was stillbound to this soul contract and
part of my life force energy wasbeing diverted and sent off to
(16:43):
this group of psychic disincarnate ghosts sorcerers, who
were still very much feeding offof at least me anyway, I don't
know about the other individualsthat were in my clan, but they
were still benefiting from thisagreement.
After the mushroom ceremony wasover, I took some time to just
(17:04):
integrate the experience, thinkabout what I had learned, and
come up with a potentialsolution.
So one day I went on a very longhike by myself, called in my
guides and came up with thislittle ritual and ceremony that
I did up in the mountains.
It was essentially a cordcutting ceremony and a way to
(17:26):
end that soul contract.
I connected with the creepygroup of sorcerers and said, I
recognize that there was once a,a agreement between us that is
no longer valid.
You're not providing anyprotection.
This agreement has been met onmy end and you're no longer
(17:47):
providing anything to me.
Therefore, this contract is nulland void, completely over with
done.
That's it.
And from there, I felt anenergetic shift.
It wasn't a huge shift, and theamount of energy that was being
siphoned off, it wasn'tincredibly significant.
(18:10):
It wasn't like a whole lot ofenergy, but it was persistent
and it was having an impact onmy life.
And I find it kind ofinteresting that this happened
after I had done a ton of workwith different psychedelics, had
done a lot of internal work inmeditation.
(18:31):
This soul contract was stilllingering in the background and
I was unaware of it.
My personal belief is that welearn the things that we need to
learn and life and the universepresents us with situations at
the time that we need to dealwith them.
I, I know that this came up forme when it came up because that
was the right time and I had theright skills and the right level
(18:53):
of understanding to be able tomanage this situation
appropriately.
Now, I don't look at thatsituation as bad or harmful.
My personal belief is thateverything that happens to me is
for the purpose of my learningand growth.
And I certainly learnedsomething from that experience.
And maybe one of the reasonsthat I had that experience was
(19:14):
so that I could share it withother people and so that others
could gain a greater perspectiveand learn about soul contracts.
That brings us to the question, how do we know if we have soul
contracts?
And I think it's pretty safe toassume that on some level we all
have a certain degree ofagreements that we've made with,
(19:38):
again, either ourself withspirit or with other individuals
and spirits and entities.
So the real question is, how dowe know if we have any lingering
soul contracts that are nothelping us, and they're not
benefiting us in any way?
How can we find out what theyare and make them null and void
and be free and clear of them?
The easiest, moststraightforward and most
(19:59):
effective way for us to identifywhether or not we have any
lingering soul contracts isthrough meditation.
The word meditation, essentiallymeans to become aware of, and
that's what we're trying to dohere.
You can't address an issue ifyou don't know that it exists,
or you don't know what the rootcause of it is.
Developing a meditation practicewhere you're intentionally
(20:21):
setting aside time to be byyourself and to observe your own
thoughts and behavioral patternsis going to be, the most
effective way to learn aboutthings that are hiding under the
surface that might not bepresent in our conscious minute
to minute daily life.
Through better knowing ourselvesand this act of observation, we
(20:44):
can better identify patterns andareas of our lives that are not
in alignment with our deepestdesires.
when we notice an area ofmisalignment, we just observe
it.
We look at it objectivelywithout putting labels or
without judgment and just seewhat's going on there.
Is this truly me or is theresomething below the surface?
(21:09):
We all have all of the answersto all of our questions within
us.
I know it can be tempting tolook for resolution or seek help
outside of ourselves, andsometimes that may be
appropriate.
But the first place and thefirst person we should always go
to for answers and to findresolution is ourselves Once
(21:32):
you've identified that there isor may be some sort of soul
contract in play in your life, that's not benefiting you
initially, always I go inward tomy intuition and say, how can I
resolve this?
Uh, there are many differentthings you can do.
Cord cutting ceremonies, anynumber of ways to resolve any
number of issues.
(21:53):
But again, going inward isprobably gonna give you the best
answer to your question inregards to that.
I know there are many people outthere who have their own
opinions, they have their ownceremonies, their own ways of
dealing with energeticattachments.
And some of those people arevery skilled.
So if you don't feel like youhave the resources or you've
(22:14):
tried something and it doesn'tseem to be getting the results
that you want, you can alwaysreach out to somebody
potentially for assistance.
In that I highly, highlyrecommend using your
discernment.
Don't rush.
Take your time.
Find somebody who you reallyresonate with and truly believe
can help you get the result thatyou want.
(22:35):
Make sure that that personunderstands your situation very
well, and again on a deep levelthat you resonate with them.
Also, it's important to be awarethat if you do some sort of cord
cutting ceremony orintentionally sever some sort of
energetic attachment, that thesethings can be reestablished.
(22:55):
For example, if there's an Xthat you're trying to distance
yourself from energetically, sayyou go through a cord cutting
ceremony or you try to break thesoul contract and you feel like
you've accomplished it well, ifyou're continuing to interact
with them or you're checking upon their social media pages, or
(23:16):
there's objects in your spacethat remind you of them or that
came from them.
That can help reestablish theseenergetic connections.
So just because you've gonethrough and done some work
around severing energetic ties, doesn't mean that the work ends
right there and it's all saidand done.
Sometimes there's additionalthings that we need to do and
(23:38):
take care of afterwards tomaintain that energetic space
that we've created through theceremony, or cutting those
energetic bonds in a specificway.
Often bringing resolution to asoul contract is a process.
It's not something you can justsnip and be completely done with
it.
That can happen sometimes, butusually it's a bit more
(23:59):
prolonged than that.
Remember, soul contracts aremalleable.
They don't define us.
Just because you made anagreement on some level in the
past or in a past life or at adifferent time, doesn't mean
that you can't make anadjustment to it or completely
end that agreement.
In one sense, time is real.
(24:20):
And in another sense, time istotally an illusion.
The only thing that is real thatreally matters, the only time
where we can actually make adecision and make a change, is
right now in the present moment.
And we do indeed have free will.
The free will to choose what wewant for ourselves.
Right here, right now, you canchoose to end any and all soul
(24:42):
contracts.
Now, that may not be the bestthing that you wanna do.
There's probably a good reasonfor some of them, and some of
those contracts may be helpingyou to learn something on your
soul's journey.
Don't throw the baby out withthe bath water.
This isn't, again, necessarily agood or a bad thing.
These are processes that help uslearn on and grow on a spiritual
(25:07):
level.
And if you choose to look atthings from that point of view,
in some sense, everything ishappening for our benefit.
If you value growth andlearning.
In my experience on my souljourney, I recognize that I've
under the soul contracts withmyself, with source, and with
external entities, uh, the wholeentity conversation is really
(25:27):
fascinating.
That's why I made this videoright here to share some of my
own personal stories so that youcan learn a bit more about them
and how to interact with them.
We'll see you there.
