Bench Performance Overview

  • Buddy Hield: Despite being inserted into the starting lineup, Hield went scoreless from beyond the arc, missing all his three-point attempts.
  • Gary Payton II: Started the game but had a limited offensive contribution, scoring only 5 points.
  • Quinten Post: Contributed minimally off the bench, failing to provide the needed spark.

The Warriors’ bench scoring was insufficient to support the team’s efforts, especially against a Rockets team that had multiple players stepping up. The lack of offensive production from the bench put additional pressure on the starters, who couldn’t carry the load alone.

Looking Ahead

For the upcoming Game 7, the Warriors will need a more balanced offensive effort. Coach Steve Kerr might consider adjusting the rotation to include players like Jonathan Kuminga, whose athleticism and energy could provide the boost the team needs.

The game is scheduled for today at 5:30 PM PDT in Houston. The Warriors will need to address their bench scoring issues to advance in the playoffs.
