Speaker 1 (00:07):
Hey, there, it's Evan Nathaniel Grimm, and welcome to
the latest episode of AstrologyUnbound, and today we're going
to talk about the Pisces newmoon on February 27th, and this
really puts us at the doorstepof eclipse season.
Now, the new moon itself is notan eclipse, but it will be
followed up with by a lunareclipse, a total lunar eclipse
in Virgo, two weeks later, onMarch 13th.

(00:29):
So you'll definitely want tolisten to this episode and
prepare yourself for this newmoon, which is not, you know,
any kind of new moon to bescared of.
It's just a renewal, andluckily, a renewal in which
there are no planetaryretrogrades, although there will
be about two days later, withVenus stationing retrograde.

(00:51):
So, before I kick this episodeoff, definitely check out my
Substack newsletter.
That is where you can go intoeven a greater level of depth,
with manifestation guides forevery new moon release,
guidelines for the full moons, educational content,
manifestation rituals, cordcutting rituals and a lot more,

(01:14):
and also be sure to download my2025 horoscopes if you have not
yet.
Over 11,000 of you havedownloaded one so far, and these
horoscopes are a great way tokind of pull yourself out of the
maze and look down at the mazefrom a bird's eye view and
realize the patterns that aresort of inherent to the year,

(01:37):
and you can use it as ablueprint and as a map to get
from end to end in 2025 with acertain amount of confidence, as
opposed to feeling stuck in thetrenches.
So it is a really, really solidway to again get a bird's eye
view, not just on the yeargenerally, but on the year as it
pertains to your sun, moon andrising sign, and I always

(02:00):
recommend that people downloadall three.
So, yeah, let's dive in to thePisces new moon.
And where are we now as I'mfilming this?
Well, right now we are inPisces season and really in that
waning crescent phase, and sowe're really closing out,
starting to prepare for the nextlunar cycle.

(02:21):
And every new moon which againit happens every 29 and a half
days very common event but everytime there's a new moon it is
an opportunity to again renew, rejuvenate, start something new,
manifest, to begin to againmaterialize something, work
towards your goals in the houseof your chart where the new moon

(02:43):
is happening, and typically ourmanifestation journey that has
its originations at the new moon.
That journey kind of peaksabout two weeks later at the
full moon.
But also there is a broadertheme that reaches a peak about
six months later, during thefull moon, in the same zodiac
sign where the new moon occurred, during the full moon, in the

(03:05):
same zodiac sign where the newmoon occurred, and this one is
at nine degrees of Pisces.
And what's interesting is thatwe've had a lot.
We've had a series of new moonsat nine degrees, going back to
the Scorpio new moon which wason, I believe, november 1st or
November 4th.
Oh no, it was November 1st.
Yeah, oh no, it was November1st.

(03:33):
Yeah, so going or was itNovember 1st?
Either way, it was early, earlyNovember.
Let me actually check reallyquick on the computer here.
So yeah, no, it was on November1st.
We've had again a series of newmoons, all at the ninth degree,
which is pretty rare, and theninth degree is a Sagittarian
degree.
So in the degree theory, eachdegree represents a certain

(03:55):
zodiac sign, using one degree asan Aries degree.
Second degree is a Taurusdegree, and so on, and then it
repeats once it reaches 13degrees, second degree is a
Taurus degree, and so on, andthen it repeats once it reaches
13 degrees, that becomes anAries degree.
And the ninth degree is a lotabout belief.
It is again a Sagittariandegree.

(04:17):
So, like when I do readings forpeople with nine degrees of Sag
or nine degrees of Gemini intheir chart, they oftentimes
have very strong convictions andbeliefs about things and they
tend to really advocate for acertain belief, whether it's
religious or political, or itcan also be really good at like
sales or teaching, and that'sbecause in that case it's like
they're using theGemini-Sagittarius axis, in

(04:40):
addition to having the ninthdegree activated, which
amplifies the energy of thosesigns.
But anyway, so the ninth degreeis, you know, when we repeat
that degree across many newmoons, it is sort of, I think,
it's asking us to really revisitour beliefs, our perspective on

(05:00):
a lot of things, and I thinkthat we are doing that right now
.
I actually, you know, as I'mtalking or thinking out loud
here, the ninth degree as aSagittarian degree, you know,
has to do with long distanceflight and journeys.
Even though Uranus and Aquariusdeal with aviation and
technology, sagittarius also hasassociations with this topic of

(05:23):
long distance journeys.
So, you know, we've witnessedthe plane crashes, many plane
crashes, right, adisproportionate amount, and
while there are many factorsbehind that which I've laid out
in my Substack newsletter, including the risk timeline, by
the way.
I do think the ninth degreebeing reinforced in these
lunation cycles is it isactually speaking to this theme

(05:47):
of flying, and I'm not sayingthat there will be I'm not
saying there will be anothercrash during this new moon, by
the way but I just find itinteresting that the ninth
degree again does speak to thisgeneral theme of Sagittarius and
flight, but also, again, in adifferent sense, we are

(06:08):
adjusting our entire beliefsystems.
I think right now and I'm noteven saying that politically,
it's just you know, you might belooking at your life much
differently, especially at atime when we are, I think,
experiencing a bit of whiplash.
I don't know if that's the word, but we are transitioning, I
think, out of that immediatepost-pandemic era where we were

(06:31):
still sort of like reacting tothe pandemic and the subsiding
of that pandemic, and now we'rein this phase where it's clearly
like well behind us and I thinkwe're all starting to realize
that well, maybe working fromhome is socially isolating, or
maybe social media isn'teverything.
Maybe I want to get back outthere and you might be adjusting

(06:54):
your perspective on somethingcompletely different than that.
But I think, societally, we aretrying to figure out.
You know what is.
I still think we're trying tofigure out what the new normal
is.
Or maybe we want to go back tosort of a society where we're
all connected in real life, ormaybe not at all, but anyways,
this is happening in Pisces.

(07:15):
So we are looking at not onlythe sign of Pisces but the
ruling planets of Pisces, jupiter and Neptune.
Those planets will dictate someof the tone of this new moon.
You always have to look at theplanetary ruler.
In this case, jupiter continuesto be in Gemini in its
detriment, and Jupiter in Geminiis very busy-minded, very ADHD

(07:39):
in a way.
It's just really absorbing alot of information without
always knowing, I think, how topiece it together.
Even though Gemini really isconcerned with facts and the
sort of individual pieces ofinformation and Jupiter's trying
to expand that into a biggerperspective.

(08:01):
Jupiter can't do that easily inGemini Because Jupiter just
amplifies the energy of the sign.
So, with Gemini really wantingto digest as much information as
possible, jupiter in Geminijust takes that to another level
and just gives us more and moreand more information, more news

(08:22):
, more social media content, etc.
And I think everybody at thispoint has a little bit of
content fatigue or informationfatigue, and so, with the new
moon being in Pisces, which is avery reflective sign, some of
you might take this time to slowdown and take a breather.

(08:42):
To slow down and take abreather.
Maybe you will just decide to,you know, rein in your social
media habits or, you know, evensacrifice anything that you
would deem addictive.
You know, because we haveSaturn in Pisces as well, so
many people are trying to cutback on certain things that
maybe are overwhelming them orhelping them escape in an

(09:03):
unhealthy way.
So Jupiter is squaring the newmoon which, even though it's a
square, I think it's dynamic.
I think that does increase someoptimism and belief and hope
and faith in a better future, potentially.
But juxtaposed with theMercury-Saturn conjunction, with
Mercury dispositing Jupiter andGemini, I still believe that

(09:32):
this Pisces new moon is a timeof more so reigning in and
cutting back and introspectingand closing off from the outside
world.
In some ways, and as I'mrecording this podcast, mercury
and Saturn are conjunct, exact, pretty much in Pisces.
That's a very somberconjunction and a lot of people
have maybe heard some heavy newstoday or had to deal some heavy

(09:53):
news to somebody, or maybe youcut off contact with somebody or
you wanted to take time awayfrom again the constant drumbeat
of social media and news andconversation.
So it's a bit of a social weekin that sense.

(10:14):
So I think a lot of people arein a bit of a retreat mode on
the Pisces new moon, especiallyafter the Mars retrograde and
cancer, which reallydysregulated a lot of people
emotionally.
Again, it's not that it's aharmful or negative or daunting
new moon, it's just it's notnecessarily to me, a new moon

(10:36):
where you know we're all goingto be talking about it 20 years
from now.
I don't see it that way and isa tendency in the astrology
community, at least on socialmedia, to overplay some new and
full moons, to overhype them.
I think it would be unwise tooverhype this one.
There's always going to beworld events, of course, that

(10:58):
really shake things up and thensomeone will say, well, evan,
you should have hyped it up.
But again, do we really need toknow about everything that's
happening in everyone's life andin the world?
I don't know.
You know I saw a news story theother day as you all experienced
this too of, like you know, some disastrous like crash in,

(11:21):
like some country I've neverbeen to like a bus crash or
something, a bus crash inanother bus, and it was like
four people died or something, and you know that's obviously
tragic and I would have wishedthat that didn't happen.
I also ask myself, like how didI derive value from reading

(11:42):
about that story?
Did that merely sink me into astate of despair, but also
powerlessness, because I reallydon't have any power to change
that, and so I think we allexperience a lot of fatigue from
the 24-hour news cycle.
So this is a great new moon tocut back and I hope you continue
to listen to the podcast, obviously, but if you have to

(12:05):
pull back from some type ofmedia or some type of habit like
I talked about Pisces has a lotto do with addiction this would
be a great new moon to startagain cutting back on any habit
that you would deem to beunhealthy.
The other planet that rules thenew moon is Neptune, like I said

(12:25):
, or sorry, the planet thatrules Pisces, and therefore the
new moon is Neptune, and it's atthe 28th degree, which is
familiar territory.
It's still in a post-shadowphase after its previous
retrograde, but it's kind of,you know, it's veering closer to
Aries.
It will go into the sign ofAries in about a month and
that's the first time thatNeptune will enter a new sign in

(12:47):
, you know, 14 years or so.
So Neptune at the tail end ofits home sign of Pisces is a
reckoning in some ways and it'sshowing us, you know, all the
things that we still need towork on regarding addictive
habits or regarding escapism, regarding delusional beliefs or

(13:07):
behaviors, regarding avoidanttendencies.
It's showing us that we stillhave to clean up our act in some
of those areas.
But it's also showing us somefinal opportunities to really
open up to the ether, to thedivine.
And it's not that there's afinal opportunity, but in a way
that's very Piscean, right LikeNeptune, being in its home sign

(13:27):
is extremely powerful.
So as we approach the end ofthis Neptune and Pisces transit,
which technically ends inJanuary of 2026, we are really
seeking to open up to the divinein new ways and ask for well,
not ask for, but just experiencehealing or forgiveness, and

(13:50):
maybe even to forgive ourselvesfor something, because Saturn
and Mercury again have beenconjunct or are conjunct all
week.
There's kind of a guilt factorassociated with that conjunction
.
It's very easy for.
Ask anyone with aMercury-Saturn conjunction in
their chart.
It's easy for them to feelguilty but also critical of
themselves and thereby otherpeople.

(14:11):
So it is kind of a depressingweek for some people.
You know and I've witnessedthis, like you know artists
having to cancel the rest oftheir tour, maybe because of
illness, but also maybe because, who knows, like maybe because
of a mental health challenge orsomething.
Maybe some people have had tocall off work this week, whether
it's because of an illnessagain or just feeling a little

(14:34):
down, feeling like they need totake some time away from the
constant stimuli of, you know, the internet, social media and
so on.
So, you know, I think a lot ofpeople in that process of right
now feeling self-critical arebeing asked to forgive, to

(14:57):
forgive themselves for somethingor maybe to forgive someone
else.
Who originated this feeling ofguilt?
Like you know, maybe youconsistently feel guilty because
your mother shamed you aboutsome things growing up and even
though your adult mindunderstands that it's irrational
to still believe that you're atfault for something in that way

(15:19):
, maybe you're still again.
Maybe your brainstem or yourlizard brain or whatever,
decides that you are guilty ofsomething.
So this is a new moon forletting go, even though it's a
new moon, new beginnings.
In Pisces it's like okay, well, maybe we're beginning to end
something, we're beginning tolet go of something, we're
beginning to end a habit.

(15:40):
Like I said, we're beginning toend nasty sort of self-hatred
or harsh sort of words orlanguage that we speak to
ourselves and, you know, verycontemplative, because Venus is
days away from retrograding aswell in the sign of Aries, after
a Mars retrograde.

(16:00):
You know, with Venus being inMars' sign, this is a time where
you are questioning maybebusiness strategy, money,
income-related things,creativity, creative projects,
but also relationships and, likeyou know, mercury-saturn
conjunct, combined with a Venusstation retrograde, shows that

(16:23):
maybe, on this Pisces new moon, you're asking for alone time
from your partner or your friend.
You know I hate to make this allsound so dour and depressing,
like I'm not really trying to dothat.
I just think with every new andfull moon, I try to almost like
, channel the planets that are,you know, the motion, like the

(16:43):
current motion of the planets, and I try to channel the
archetype of the planets thatare most prominent in this
situation.
And To me, when I look at allthe water in the sky Sun, moon,
saturn, mercury, north Node, mars I feel things.
I feel really emotional, I feellike because we don't have any

(17:07):
Scorpio place, no planets inScorpio right now.
We just have Cancer and Piscesas the water signs.
To me, those are the moresensitive water signs in some
ways, and I only say thatbecause, you know, scorpio is
ruled by Mars, so there is someaction associated with Scorpio.

(17:28):
It's almost like a, you know, fiery water sign.
It's like boiling water, andnot to say that like cancer and
pisces placements are wimps orsomething.
But cancer and pisces to me arevery, uh, very sensitive signs
though.
And again, scorpio is too.
But scorpio can get kind ofangry and and can kind of use

(17:51):
that anger in a sort of ananakin skywalker way.
You know to be kind of broodyand doing things with that sort
of broodiness, but with Marsbeing in cancer, you know,
recently retrograde, I think alot of people's bodily rhythms
are off.
Hormones are kind of off rightnow.
I think a lot of people havebeen getting poor sleep lately.

(18:16):
So, yeah, just use this Piscesnew moon to recognize like, hey,
I need a little bit of time offor I need to just relax, need
to let go or I need to againforgive myself in some respect
and yeah, so those are some ofthe key traits of the of the new

(18:38):
moon.
I like the fact that Mars istrining Saturn still, so, like
if you need to really makeprogress with a professional
project or you know anythingthat's kind of industrious and
process oriented, you can dothat right now, especially if
you're trying to push forwardwith a, you know, creative,
exercise, creative project, likeif you're trying to create a

(19:00):
fashion brand or something.
Not a bad time for that.
But I do think this new moon isalso about health.
Pisces, virgo that axis has alot to do with health.
If I want to go deeper with this, the Mercury-Saturn conjunction
is showing that people who feelthis like low-flying guilt
about something that they can'tidentify, or people who speak to

(19:22):
themselves harshly, I think, are more likely to experience,
possibly some topic, and it's ajourney that people go through
and it's something thatsometimes people need help with

(19:45):
and obviously if you need help, you feel like you need help, you
should seek help.
So it's a very personal journeyfor everybody in terms of how
they grapple with a mentalhealth challenge in their life,
how they deal with grief or loss.
But I just mean generallyspeaking.
The Mercury-Saturn conjunctionin Pisces is asking you to be

(20:07):
kind both to others and how youspeak to others, but also how
you speak to yourself and forsome people that's really hard.
For some people, again, familyhard.
For some people, you know again, family members may have been
extremely harsh growing up,extremely critical.
Maybe you have, like a Virgomoon or you have a Saturn moon

(20:28):
opposition.
You have, you know again, somefamily members who sort of
ingrained this sense of likeself-loathing, and I understand
that.
That's, you know, again, areally heavy journey but also
something that people do havethe tools to get through.
But if you can, you know, helpit and I think, you know people

(20:52):
have the power to speak sort ofpositive thoughts to themselves.
You know, you just want to tryto lean into that positivity
this week, because thatMercury-Saturn conjunction in
Pisces it can be very somber.
It can also be very focused.
Like I said, if you're someonewho's just like, hey, I've been,

(21:14):
like I'm not really feeling theemotional stuff right now, I'm
just working through a projectat work and I'm, you know,
zeroing in on that, then keepdoing that.
You don't have to like resonatewith every aspect of the
mundane astrology.
It's going to affect everyonedifferently, based on their
chart, like I said.
But I think most people whofollow astrology are intuitive

(21:38):
and therefore emotionallyattuned and sensitive to the
collective emotion, otherpeople's emotions.
So, like, if you're anintuitive, I think you'll feel
this sort of sober energy.
Right now it's a very somberfeeling, you know.
It's a feeling of sometimes notwell, just not being motivated
to talk to other people or notfeeling motivated to socialize,

(22:00):
or, when you socialize withpeople, feeling as though it's
not rewarding.
And again, if that's not youright now, totally fine.
But I do think the collectiveright now is going through a bit
of again a bit of a pessimisticphase, like this week is a
little pessimistic and againit's a short-lived transit for

(22:22):
the most part.
I'm not saying it's going tolast for too long.
I mean Mercury will retrograde, close to Saturn again in, you
know, late March into earlyApril or mid-March into early
April.
But essentially this week isthe centerpiece of that feeling

(22:46):
and that transit, that feelingof fixating on problems and
issues and focusing on thedownsides of things.
That's how Mercury and Saturnoperate together.
Focusing on the downsides ofthings.
That's how Mercury and Saturnoperate together.
So some people might be lookingat the, you know, the darker
side of the moon, or whateveryou want to call it.
They're sort of feeling attimes a little bit hopeless.

(23:11):
I'm just being real with you.
Like that's what this podcastis all about.
I mean, if you watch anastrologer like wax poetic about
this new moon and just say it'spure magic, I don't think
that's really true.
I mean, I've seen weirdastrology videos lately about
how, like, neptune is conjunct, the North node, therefore it's
like perfect for creativity andwhatnot.
But I don't really think it'sthat.
I don't know.

(23:32):
I mean I don't always, I don'tthink it's experienced that way
for most people right now.
I think the Neptune North nodeconjunction is, you know, really
discombobulating for a lot ofpeople.
People are feeling sometimesadrift, but anyways, the
Mercury-Saturn conjunction canhelp you focus, can help you
accomplish some very pragmatictasks.

(23:52):
But if you're feeling like yourthoughts have become a little
bit more pessimistic this week, just do whatever you can,
whatever's within your power, toavoid, like, the harsh talk,
the harsh self-criticism.
And definitely, you know, Ithink everyone has the power to
not speak ill of other people orto not, you know, berate other

(24:15):
people.
It's, you know, it's just atime where you don't know what
other people are going through.
You don't know what anyone'sgoing through and you know it's
best to just be kind to people, obviously always, but especially
right now.
Like I said, a lot of peopleare cycling through these really

(24:37):
difficult emotions.
So, yeah, if you want to usethis Pisces new moon to just
kind of retreat and relax, that's totally fine.
If you do want to use thisPisces new moon to make these
quantum leaps with a creativeproject, a media project,
fashion brand or, yeah, something film related,

(24:57):
something music related, you canalso do that.
With Venus about to retrogradein Aries, though you definitely
have to make sure your heart'sin it, that you're I mean well,
leo is more so the heart, but, like, you have to make sure that
you're truly passionate aboutwhat you're doing.
I talked about that on myInstagram live last night.
So, again, let's say you're amusician and you haven't really

(25:18):
written a song that you enjoyfor like five years, but you've
been touring for five years.
Like, consider a new strategyfor songwriting or, you know,
bringing in some freshperspectives, bringing in
another songwriter to help you,to help collaborate, and you
know, write even more magicalsongs.
If you're a writer with writer'sblock, you know, write even
more magical songs.
If you're a writer withwriter's block, you know, think

(25:39):
about, with this new moon, adifferent way to add magic to
the creative process.
And so for somebody let's sayyou are somebody who's been
working in your field for 10years and you've lost the
passion, you've lost interest init.
This is a good new moon to likeagain, recoil a little bit,
retreat and reassess andreconsider.

(25:59):
Is there a different career Ishould focus on?
Should I really continue to be,you know, in this field if I'm
not 100% invested?
That is a consideration peopleare making right now, and this
applies to relationships as well.
Do you feel like you have a good, balanced relationship where

(26:19):
it's autonomous, both people areautonomous, there's a lot of
passion as well, but it's alsoreally cooperative and there's a
sense of unification in it.
Like all of the above, you know, like is your relationship
fulfilling different aspects, but also not codependent, where
you're asking each other tofulfill everything?
Like do you have a balancedrelationship?

(26:40):
Remember that the retrograde issort of like hiring somebody to
come into the studio and mixthe song in a more fine tuned
way, where they're really payingattention to all the EQ, the
instrument levels, you know, output levels and et cetera.
So we're just finessing therelationships a little bit too.

(27:01):
And in Pisces, or with thePisces new moon, maybe this is
when you forgive somebody fromyour past in order to open the
door to that relationship comingback in.
Or maybe this is when you askfor alone time from a partner
because you're not sure anymore.
So the question during thisVenus retrograde, which is very
much intertwined with this newmoon and this lunation cycle, is
, you know, am I passionate inthis relationship?

(27:25):
Is the flame still burning?
And if it's not, what is thestrategy to getting that spark
again, that spark of intimacy, that spark of physical passion,
yeah, that liveliness, thatvivaciousness.
And, you know, with the NorthNode, in Pisces, conjunct

(27:49):
Neptune.
Just to circle back to thisother topic, I think,
collectively, we're realizingthat there are no quick fixes
when it comes to health.
You know, I continue to meetpeople who are like, oh, I found

(28:11):
this magical pill that, justlike, helps me, you know, lose
weight, or magical pill thatdoes X, y, z, helps me focus,
blah, blah, blah.
But I think we're going torealize, before Neptune is fully
out of Pisces, by January ofnext year, that there is no easy
fix to something that we'redealing with.
We have to address theunderlying problems and symptoms
and we live in this world wherewe kind of expect things to

(28:31):
just be given to us, to behonest.
But the truth is, if you wantto live healthy, you've got to
do the hard work.
If you want to have a goodrelationship, you have to invest
time into it.
If you want to be the bestastrologer in the world, you
have to put I don't know 12hours a day into it for at least
a few years before you can eventry to climb to the top.
So whatever ambition you haveor whatever resolution you had

(28:55):
at New Year's, everybodyrealizes, through whatever
scenario they're in, that ittakes time, it takes hard work,
it takes dedication.
I think Saturn-Mercury conjunctis giving us that also, that
mentality.
But Neptune at the last fewdegrees of Pisces is also
showing us specifically that wecan't delude ourselves into

(29:17):
believing that there's like thisquick, like A to Z pathway to
healthiness.
People are getting sick left andright.
I mean, you know it's one ofthe worst flu seasons ever.
Apparently, younger and youngerpeople are getting cancers.
Some of that is outside ofpeople's control, some of that
is environmental.
Some of that has to do withpollutants, but there's other

(29:41):
causes too, which includes, likeyou know, sedentary lifestyle,
which the West suffers from.
It's something that I also havesuffered from for much of my
life.
I mean not always by my ownfault, I mean going to high
school in the mid-2000s.
There was no mandatory like PEor gym program after like ninth
grade, I think, and after ninthgrade pretty much everybody

(30:04):
signed off from ever going tothe gym.
And unless you were on a sportsteam, you know you didn't
necessarily.
And even if you were on asports team like I was in high
school, and sports throughout myteenage years, from basically 8
am till 2.30 pm, wasn't reallyexercising at all, just sitting
down at a desk and sitting bythe way, sitting is as bad for

(30:25):
you as smoking.
So we live in a country and asociety where we're not rearing
strong individuals.
We are, you know, building upthese.
We're building up people whohave powerful minds but not
always powerful bodies andphysical health, and that

(30:46):
eventually, you know, just leadsto, I don't know, weakening
populace.
I think that's a big deal, youknow.
I don't want to go too far downthis rabbit hole because I feel
like, honestly, unfortunately welive in this age where I can't
even, probably, talk about thesethings too much, otherwise I'll
be sort of shamed for evenmentioning this.

(31:08):
But I mean, you know, I stillwant to stick to my conviction
here that you know personalhealth, you know the buck stops
with us, like we have to makethe right choices, and you know
there's so many variables thatmake this claim sort of
complicated, right, like youcould argue, okay, well, certain
areas or communities don't haveaccess to the right foods, or

(31:32):
healthy food costs more money, and maybe people are in a
situation where they can onlywork certain, they have to work
certain hours and they can'tafford to, like go to, they
don't have time to go to the gym, like I.
Again, I recognize that we livein an age of infinite variables
but, like, all things beingequal, the pisces new moon is a
reckoning for people's health.

(31:53):
Like, yeah, like, obviously, ifyou live in a city full of cars
that are gas guzzling, yeah, there's going to be all kinds of
CO2 in the air and it's goingto influence your breathing and
your health and whatnot.
But at the same time, liketoday, I, even though I
initially didn't really want to,I decided oh, I'll just go to a
Pilates class.
You know, I'm in New York thisweek and just raced up to a

(32:20):
Pilates class the last minuteand ended up feeling so
overjoyed by the experience thatafterwards I was like I can't
even imagine being sedentary allday.
And now, for the last twomonths, I've been going to the
gym five times a week andfeeling really rejuvenated by
that.
But for people who expect totake a magic pill and not have
to do anything because of thatagain and I hate to add so many

(32:43):
caveats it's probably reallyannoying for a lot of the
listeners.
But I'm speaking as someonewhose dad is paralyzed, so I
guess I'm just a little bitsensitive to this topic.
But there's going to be peopleout there who can't exercise or
they have even just temporaryphysical ailments, like I
recognize that too.
But like all again, all thingsbeing equal, the onus is on you

(33:04):
to just really look at, okay, what is my lifestyle, and is it
promoting good health or badhealth?
Do I?
Am I diluting myself intothinking that there's just some
quick fix, or there's sideeffects to something I'm trying
to do as a quick fix?
We're building up to a lunareclipse in Virgo, which also

(33:25):
deals with health more so on aphysical plane and the immune
system, and that eclipse coulddeal with some initiative
initiative by rfk jr toinvestigate some like health
agency or health practice.
But I still think on a personallevel, a lot of people are
going to be experiencing allkinds of revelations about

(33:46):
health and a different way toagain, or a different lifestyle.
Maybe that would helpaccomplish different health
goals.
So if, if these topics make youwant to turn off the podcast,
then that's case in point.
Right, like I understand it'snot necessarily exciting always
to talk about health, and I'mnot like a fitness influencer,

(34:06):
so you don't necessarily.
Or a medical practitioner, soyou might be like, well, why do
I have to take advice from Evan?
It's like, well, I'm looking atthe astrology, I'm not just
like speculating here.
You know we are living in theNeptune and Pisces timeline

(34:27):
right now, which has tempted alot of us to completely divorce
ourselves from a healthylifestyle.
Whether it's through thesmartphone, social media, these
are some of the most addictiveproducts in human history and,
yeah, that has encouraged us tokind of tap out.
And then, when we are asked todo things that are physically
taxing, or asked to be reallyactive.
For a time, it's like, wow, this is suddenly really hard,

(34:49):
and so I think this is somethingthat the collective is
experiencing right now too, though, like, yeah, there's many
reasons for flu season being sobad this year, which, again,
I'm not qualified to speak toall those dimensions but there
is a component of it which isthat, yeah, people are not

(35:09):
healthy generally.
I don't even think lifeexpectancy is, I think it's
still declining in the US andlike comorbidities are on the
rise.
You know, and it is a really, really, really daunting issue
actually that we don't talkabout enough in the news, and I

(35:29):
think there's a reason for that.
I think that mass mediacompanies have, and big
agriculture, like all thesedifferent stakeholders have,
every incentive to keep thepopulation weak.
I mean, that's my true opinionon it.
But also, this is a new moon foraddressing mental health, and a
lot of people struggle withthat right and, again, that's

(35:53):
legitimate.
It's a super serious topic.
So, again, not saying, oh,these are the easy steps you'll
take on the new moon to addressthat, but it is a time to focus
on mental health and, in thesign of Pisces being also very
spiritual though, focusing onmaybe spiritual ways to achieve
that.
Or, you know, mindfulnesstraining or focusing on ways to

(36:18):
take time away from the sort ofday in and day out side of life.
And then, six months from now, september 7th, we're going to
have a lunar eclipse in Piscesand that's going to be the
climax and it's going to kind ofencapsulate this Pisces new
moon era.

(36:38):
So, you know, buckle up in thatway.
Like you know, we have eclipsestied to this new moon from the
perspective of the.
You know, the follow-up twoweeks after and the six-month
follow-up full moon in the samesign.
So both of the full moons thatare, you know, interconnected
with this new moon are eclipses, and lunar eclipses at that.

(37:03):
So, you know, I think this doeshave a lot to do with health and
healing and finding a betterway and not deluding ourselves
again into thinking there's aquick fix and, honestly, even
doing kind of a retrospective onhow we have lived our lives
since 2011, when Neptune wentinto the sign.

(37:24):
Just journal about it.
Go back to 2011, up till now,and if you are intermediate or
advanced at astrology, remindyourself when Neptune squared,
opposed or conjoined any of yourpersonal planets or your chart
angles, and look back at thattime or I mean when and think

(37:46):
about those habits or lifestylechoices as being very relevant
for this final passage ofNeptune in Pisces.
Think about how those habitsinfluenced your health over the
long haul.
For instance, when Neptune wassquaring both my Mercury and

(38:08):
Mars at the same time, in 2014,15, and 16, and even part of
2017, I guess I made a lot ofbad choices.
Regarding drinking, I mean, Idrank tons of alcohol from 2014
to 2017, which was my first fouryears in New York City.
I was a 20-something in NewYork.

(38:30):
I mean, that's just what peopledo oftentimes.
Even though I really enjoyedthe socializing.
It was a really fun timeHonestly, even more fun than
college it was also reallydetrimental to my body.
I think I'm still paying forthat.
I haven't drank in three and ahalf years, which I'm really
proud of, but I do think I'mstill paying for some of those

(38:53):
lifestyle choices.
So for me, I would journal aboutthat.
Okay, neptune squared myMercury squared my Mars and
Saturn was in Sag in my sixthhouse.
That was brutal in 2015, 16, 17.
That's when I think I set myhealth back, more so than any
other three years in my life, but I would go back to.

(39:13):
In my case, I would go back tothose years and say, okay, what
was going on at that time?
What was I doing and how was Ideceiving myself in other ways?
Neptune can be all kinds ofdeception and I would reflect on
that and basically ask myselfhow can I rectify that situation
?
Or how can I be more honestabout things, transparent and

(39:36):
for other people, your journeycould look completely different.
You might look back at aNeptune Mars opposition that you
had in, let's say, 2012 andtell me hey, evan, that's the
time when I was taking a certainpharmaceutical, I was
prescribed something and itreally wrecked me, messed me up.
There are all these sideeffects that they didn't talk
about, and I've been recoveringsince.

(39:57):
Your journey is going to bereally personal to you, but I
think that everybody's going tobe doing some final reflections
right now on their healthjourney dating back to 2011.
And some of the clues contextclues are buried in those years,
these past 14 years, and youcan consult an astrologer if

(40:20):
you're confused about how tointerpret transits.
But if you're advanced inastrology, look back at all
these hard aspects with Neptuneand pretty much any of your
placements and obviously youwill have to interpret it in
light of those specificplacements.
But let's say again, you'rebasically creating this map to
the treasure, which is theinsight about what you still

(40:41):
need to heal.
And again, for other peoplethis is just a time of bliss,
creativity, feeling connected toa higher power or a creative
muse.
You know removing the negative, harsh, the harsh, negative
self-critical talk from yourthought process.

(41:03):
You know just letting go ofharsh thoughts, letting go of
the need to criticize others, and experiencing a beautiful
divine union in the aftermath ofthat.
Because, yeah, it's always aprojection when we criticize

(41:23):
somebody.
It's always a projection ofpain when we try to make someone
else feel bad.
And during this new moon, someof you might feel a sense of
empathy for someone else who isbeing marginalized or put down
by someone else, and you'lldefend them or you will help out

(41:44):
, help donate towards a causeyou know, participate in a
humanitarian effort.
All those types of things canhappen as well.
So, yeah, it's a beautiful newmoon.
It doesn't have to be dark, itdoesn't have to be somber, but I

(42:06):
wanted to bring us through thatsomber territory to show you
that, while the collective mightbe navigating some of these
themes, it's also totally up toyou as to whether or not you
want to kind of fly on out ofthat.
That murky water, you know, pisces to me, feels like
drowning, sometimes feels likedrowning in your own emotions.
You know it's a flood, a floodof emotions, and feeling

(42:27):
everything at once, and you know, feeling everything at once and
still finding the, experiencingthe profound, it's just a
profound phenomenon.
It's a profound phenomenon tofeel everything all at the same

(42:50):
time, you know it, it's very,almost awe-inspiring.
In the collective, we could seehealth announcements, there
could be some changes in thehealthcare industry, among
healthcare executives.
Maybe a boat crash, maybe someundersea cables are suddenly cut

(43:14):
off, possibly communicationbetween, yeah, maybe like
communication is cut off betweencertain countries somehow.
Yeah, I think the wholemaritime sector is a little
challenged at this time.
I also think there could besome investigations into

(43:35):
healthcare companies,pharmaceutical companies.
I think RFK Jr is probablygoing to mount some sort of
investigative campaign or, youknow, there there are maybe
shifting perspectives abouthealthcare at this time.
And, yeah, maybe some creativebreakthroughs though care at

(43:56):
this time.
And yeah, maybe some creativebreakthroughs though, maybe some
massive new films beingannounced or whatnot, but also,
on that topic, maybe somesetbacks for Hollywood.
You know Saturn does restrictthings, so there could be
celebrities no longer talking toeach other in the news, or a
film suddenly being I don't knowfilm production being canceled
for some reason, or anothercelebrity being exposed for

(44:18):
something.
You know Saturn, mercury, isvery judgmental, but it also can
, you know, litigate things andcan cut through the noise and
really focus on and maybe it'san accusation or it's, you know,
again some sort of legal matterbeing brought to light.

(44:38):
Anyways, there's a lot morepacked into this new moon, which
I'll talk about in my Substacknewsletter in the coming days.
I'm going to write that whileI'm in New York, oh, and you
know, with Pisces being wet, snowy, inclement weather in a
lot of ways, you know, thereprobably will be some pretty
massive rainstorms, maybesnowstorms, and, as we saw in

(45:00):
Detroit, you know, maybe it'sjust a rainstorm followed by a
freeze and it just the wholeplace turns to ice.
I mean, we could see all kindsof stuff like that.
We could see all kinds of stufflike that, and it could delay
travel in some respects, becauseMercury conjunct Saturn can be
shown to.
You know, again, notnecessarily like to cut off

(45:21):
travel entirely, but just tocreate some delays and
bottlenecks.
So, yeah, open your emotionalsphere to the outside world.
You know, feel things, allowyourself to be sensitive,
connect with the divine, come upwith an amazing piece of music
or an amazing film idea.
Unify with people, forgivepeople, you know, cut back on

(45:45):
the negative talk.
Show people some grace andpatience and recognize that they
are potentially also goingthrough something or maybe
suffering, and I think that ifyou're able to do that,
alleviate someone else'ssuffering, it does, I think,
bring you some fulfillment andjoy as well.
And if you are suffering withinformation overload, then this

(46:08):
is a great new moon.
To just take a step back.
If you've been feeling ill formonths now, if you've been
feeling like you've had the fluor something and you can't maybe
you can't identify it orcategorize all the symptoms, you
know maybe this is a time whereyou just finally admit that you
need some time off and you takethe time to recover.
All of these types of eventscan happen during this Pisces

(46:32):
new moon.
And again, if you're like Evan, this is not the podcast episode
I expected, or this is, you know, doesn't sound fun.
I mean, that's just howMercury-Saturn is.
I'm speaking right now, asMercury is conjunct Saturn Like
it's a bit of a heavy transit,especially in Pisces.

(46:52):
But you know, reaching out toreally help others you know
Pisces is selfless Reaching outto help others will, I think,
bring in a lot of goodexperiences, rich experiences,
into your life.
And you know, in the astrologyrealm just the astrology

(47:13):
community I've noticed a lot ofvitriolic rhetoric and people
have gone on these tirades, especially on TikTok, to try and
denigrate other astrologers, and that's a perfect example of
that harsh criticism that we allhave to just let go of and
purge with the South Node andVirgo.
I'm not a fan of that.

(47:36):
You know there's astrologersout there who I vehemently
disagree with.
There's astrologers out therewho I don't even think should be
making astrology videos.
There's astrologers who areself-loathing astrologers.
They don't even like astrologyanymore and they're still making
videos about astrology.
I witness that every day.
When I watch astrology content,I always ask myself what is this

(47:57):
?
I don't think there's that manygood astrologers doing social
media content, but it's like Idon't go online and post a video
saying I think this astrologershould stop scamming people or
making content.
That's not my vibe and whateverindustry you're in, stay above
the fray If there's bad applesin the water trying to poison

(48:19):
the well, or whatever theanalogy is.
Just stay away from that.
Don't get yourself mixed in it,and everyone who is listening
to this might think oh, is Evantrying to be cryptic and mention
a specific person?
I'm really not.
Every time I just noticed thetemperature has been rising a
little bit lately, especiallylately with Mars stationing

(48:41):
direct, and I personally don'tappreciate it.
I think it's incrediblyunbecoming of anyone who's
making content online.
Nobody has any reason to beratesomeone else who never did
anything to them, unless they'rescreaming for attention, and I
think that type of behavior hasno place.
There's no place for that typeof behavior, but I would hope

(49:07):
that astrologers who areengaging in that sort of acerbic
dialogue, I hope that theywould recognize the transits
that are going on right now andrecognize that.
Hey, the South Nodes and Virgolet's think about before we
criticize someone else.
Let's think about theorigination of our criticism.
Is it really rooted in goodintentions, or is it coming from

(49:28):
a dark place?
Is it coming from trauma?
Is it coming from wounds thatwe experienced when we were
younger, I mean, and these areall legitimate experiences that
we have to be sensitive to.
That I have to be sensitive to,which is why I don't go online
to cast someone in a bad light, you know, because I recognize
that they're hurting and I justfeel bad that they're in pain.

(49:49):
So, you know, hold a mirror upto yourself and ask yourself why
am I yelling at this person, why am I hating on this person?
Why am I resenting this person?
Is there something in myselfthat I can't forgive?
Is there something that I feelguilty about?
If you forgive yourself or ifyou heal, experience that

(50:14):
healing within yourself, thenyou'll be a source of joy for
others, and then we don't haveto make these podcasts about how
somber things might be rightnow or how people are suffering.
There's a lot of suffering inthe world because, also, when
people depart this world, theyremain attached to the material
realm, because we live in amaterialistic society, so
there's a lot of entities outthere.
They remain attached to thematerial realm because we live

(50:36):
in a materialistic society, sothere's a lot of entities out
there that are attached topeople, and you know that, in my
opinion, does contribute tosome of the despair, the mental
health issues and the nihilismthat's rampant in our world.
So we're entering, hopefully,an age of air and fire, with,
you know, pluto and Aquarius, uranus and Gemini coming up

(51:01):
where you know, things might getmore I don't know a bit lighter
and people might become morecollaborative and participating
in a collective, raising thevibrations and frequencies and
bringing us to that sort of newearth where we reach a point
where nihilism starts todissipate and when souls
transition, they fully willinglytransition into the ether

(51:26):
wherever they go and people feelthis buoyancy about life again
while they're here and then westart to finally repopulate the
earth.
We don't have to worry anymoreabout declining population
because everyone's too cynicalto have kids and I think that's
the word I left out of thispodcast is cynicism.
That's what we have toeradicate right now Cynicism,

(51:48):
nihilism, doubt, pessimism.
There's too many negativeemotions swimming in the
collective right now and I getthat people have reasons to feel
that way.
Maybe you are of a certainpolitical view where maybe you
hate the state of the worldright now.
You hate maybe the leadership.
Okay, but you still have thepower to change your immediate

(52:11):
reality.
Okay, but you still have thepower to change your immediate
reality and you don't have totap into the news every day.
Honestly, how much good.
Does it?
Do you to keep up with X orTwitter and all the daily
happenings?
When have you actually enactedchange based on what you've read
in the news?

(52:31):
So when have you actuallyenacted change based on what
you've read in the news?
Maybe you have, but a lot oftimes we don't.
We just say, well, that wasdepressing, that's depressing
news.
And I do think it starts withhealing yourself and really with

(52:51):
Mars written cancer, reallyuprooting, or just looking at
the family roots, the familywounds, and if you can resolve
conflict in your family, I thinkyou'll be able to resolve
conflict in all the otheraspects of your life.
So, thank you so much forlistening to this episode.
Definitely share it with otherpeople, give it a review, give

(53:12):
it a like or whatever.
Helps the podcast algorithms.
And, yeah, check out the substack that's coming out in the
next few days about this newmoon, which will also have
horoscopes for each sign.
And yeah, I really appreciateyour participation in this
podcast as a listener.
And again, check out thehoroscopes.

(53:33):
And yeah, I'll see you at thenext episode, take care.
