(AI GENERATED) An good Tuesday morning everybody. Welcome.
This is Azeroth Morning Radio.Hi. This episode number one. This
is. I had to include that.Anyway, this is episode number one.
We're so stoked to be herewith you. We are your hosts. My name
is Jibs. I'm joined by my goodfriend for he reminds me of Shadow

(01:15):
Facts. He's been my friendthrough many adventures. He's voted
17 time Floor Scrubber overthe Lion's Pride Inn on Moon Guard.
My good friend Cash.
Oh man, I knew you were gonnabring up alliance pride thing.
I had to. It's our server.Like the Moon Guard thing. It's our
server.
I guess what I do in thebasement of the Lion's Pride is nobody's
business I've ever told youthe story.

(01:35):
What happened when Iaccidentally. When I went down there
not knowing what was going on.
Oh, no. Do tell. Let me grabmy popcorn.
Okay, yeah, grab your popcorn.I walk through the. You know, I honestly
had a place to go. I needed toget rid of things. Okay. And I always
like to go whenever I'm inthese ends, I like to check out what
NPCs are where, you know, likewhat's going on and whatnot. And

(01:55):
mind you, the. The tavern'sfull. Like, we know what happens.
We know what happens. Theline's pride in a Moon Guard. Anyway,
I walk down the steps, I'mlike, oh, the warlock trainers and
all that cool stuff. Itreminds me of the old school days.
And I'm like, wow, look atthese big barrels. And so I'm looking
around these barrels and I,and I, as I progress, I reach the
end of the barrels and I juststop. And in slow motion I turn my

(02:17):
character and there are twopeople standing there who are missing
a few items of clothing. Theystopped, they turned and looked at
me. I looked at them and Ijust said, okay, not today, just
left.
It appears that I have enteredthe wrong room.
This is not where the vendor is.
We're just going to. The onething that I will say is that. And

(02:40):
you know, not that we shouldbe on a tangent in the opening seconds
of our brand new show, but.Well, you know, I will tangent just
a little bit about the Lion'sPride. Whatever you do, if you have
total RP3, you better be readyif you're going to start reading
profiles in that place. Holycow, is an eye opener, friends.
Yeah, it is. You know what'sfunny is I went in there one time

(03:00):
with war mode enabled, notrealizing I had it on still, and
it was vacant, gone. And I'mlike, oh, my gosh, what happened
to Azeroth? Is everyone okay?
Yeah, trust me, they're nottaking a break in there. Yeah, nobody
has a war mode on.
No.
In Lion's Pride, if they'rerping like, nobody wants to get killed

(03:20):
mid rp.
No. No, they do not. No, theydo not. Well, hey, everyone. Wow,
I can't wait. I can't believewe're here. This is the very first
episode of a project that'sprobably 13 years in the making.
It just took us this long toget here. And admittedly, I'm glad
it did, because I pre. I wouldhate for our very first podcast to

(03:41):
have been on Warcraft andsounded the way they sounded.
Yeah. And, you know, I thinkthat's probably a. A really good
segue into just kind ofbriefly introducing ourselves and
who we are and. And you knowwhat, what we enjoy doing. It goes
without saying that we bothplay World of Warcraft probably way

(04:05):
too much, but, you know, youand I have been friends for, yeah,
13, 14 years now. It's growninto besties.
Yeah.
Yay.
Which is. Has been reallycool. And it's all been through gaming
and broadcasting. Gaming, broadcasting and content creation.
Yeah.
Over the years, over the last13 years, we've. We've done a lot

(04:28):
of different shows fordifferent games, but the one game
that we always came back tojibs was World of Warcraft.
I know. It's a warm blanket. We always say behind the scenes,
it's a warm blanket you canalways return to. And it felt like
a comfortable home. Granted,we're getting ready to have those
too with Midnight, which. Iknow we'll talk about that later,

(04:48):
but like, yeah, man, it justalways felt like you were home and
you could just relax here andthere was no expectation here. And
for whatever reason, you know, the last 10 to. No, 13 to 14 years,
actually. Yeah, we, you know,we have been in World of Warcraft,
but we've been creating, likeCash said, and other IPs, and basically

(05:09):
all major MMOIPs we've been inand creating. And for whatever reason,
we never came over here. Idon't know if it was because we were
too afraid we'd screw it up orwhat. Or what.
I think part of the Reason iswe knew over the years that of course,
like, when you play an mmo, you're like, this is the one. This

(05:29):
is it, this is it. I'll neverplay another game again. And then
we always end up back in Warcraft.
Yeah.
But the funny thing is, isthrough every one of those iterations
and through every one of thoseother shows that we've done. And
when I say other shows, I meanlike Elder Scrolls Online, Star wars,
the Old Republic, Guild Wars 2.

(05:52):
A.
Couple of stints in Ashes ofCreation, which is still in development.
And there's wildstar. Oh mygosh, wildstar. That was a super
fun game to podcast for. But Ithink the reason that we ended up
here is one, we knew that wewere honing our craft a bit and learning.
Like, we have learned a metriccrap ton about audio and content

(06:16):
creation and what to do, whatnot to do over the years. And when
I say learn, I mean, Jibs hastaught me most of it because he's,
he's really good with thatstuff. But I think through honing
our craft, we felt morecomfortable this time around coming
to the big dog. And we knowthat World of Warcraft is. It's the

(06:38):
big show, buddy. It's the big leagues.
Oh, yeah. I mean, like, you'reentering the king's court, so it's
like, you know, you betterhave your stuff together. Like the
MMOs of all MMOs. It's soweird though that, like, I feel like
we grew up in just a weirdtime too with casting. Like that
was a part. Like there wasn'tTwitch. Right. So, like it was straight
up, you're doing a show andthat's where people went to for news

(06:58):
and whatnot. And so to be ableto bring that here and just to do
a show for people that. Youknow what, I'm gonna jump ahead.
I don't wanna jump too muchahead, but Cash, tell em a little
bit about yourself and thenlet's jump into what this show's
about, what they can expect.
Oh, I'll make it real quick. Iam an old guy. I just turned 50 years
old. I have played gamespretty much as long as I can remember.

(07:22):
My first game was Pong. So ifthat establishes a timeline for me
being an elder, then there yougo. Um, I'm still super young at
heart, pretty active guy. Ilove being out. I have an active
job. I'm a dad. I'm a hubby.I'm a. I'm a dad to naked cats. You're
gonna learn so much about me.In this podcast, so many things that

(07:45):
you didn't want to know, butyou are going to get to know us a
bit. So. And, you know, just.Ha. I really do have a love for content
creation and, you know, forthings like doing the show because
it adds, as we've talked aboutin the past, it adds an extra layer
to my gameplay. It brings meinto the game when I'm not in the

(08:06):
game. So all the rest of thedetails I'm going to leave to the
umpteen amount of episodesthat we're going to do here in the
future. You're going to learna ton about us. So we'll leave that
for then.
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Forme, it's been a caster since 2011.
2012. Ish. Started with SWTORand it just went, went through, went,
never stopped. It's funnybecause my kiddo's grown up around

(08:28):
me doing shows. I literallydrove him home from the hospital
while we were doing wildcatsfor wildstar. So, like, I still have
that video on YouTube, butanyway. Yeah, so not as old as Cash,
but I'm close.
No, you're not.
I'm a few years off. Butanyway, same thing. Family, you know,

(08:49):
I am right there with you.Like, to everyone who's listening,
like, this show is foreverybody. I know Cash is going to
get into it here in just asecond, but it's really for those
of us, really for those of uswho. Who grew up and like, we grew
up with Warcraft and now we'vegrown up.
I'm gonna die with Warcraft, dude.
RIP Azeroth. Put that on mytombstone. But anyway, no father,

(09:12):
husband. I love audiocreation. I love giving people fun
shows to listen to and I loveto teach audio, whether it's how
to podcast, all those funthings. Just honored to be here,
truthfully. And so, yeah, morewill come out in future episodes.
So we thought it would beimportant to establish a little bit
for the listeners about whatthis show is going to be about and

(09:34):
what Azeroth Morning Radioreally is. And we kind of summed
it up that Azeroth MorningRadio is going to be a World of Warcraft
podcast for the 99%, thepeople who may not have the time
to, you know, push the topmythic keys, who aren't going for

(09:54):
world firsts, who aren'traiding, you know, three times a
week. And that takes nothingaway from those folks, because I
bow to you. Like, if I had thetime to do that, I would be doing
it. But, you know, everythingfrom the. The player who has 30 minutes
because they've just worked a12 hour day and they just want to
hop in and do a battlegroundor they want to hop in and, you know,

(10:16):
do some dailies all the way tothe folks who are, I don't know,
for lack of better term, neckbearding this game, which is fine.
I think that's, that's allfantastic. But you know, we, we're
really kind of aiming towardsthose working professionals, parents,
students, everyday players wholove Azeroth, but just don't have

(10:38):
the time to dive into thesuper intricate mechanics that this
game can have. You know, ifyou got 30 minutes to unwind, you
got an hour, probably listento our show because that's, that's
how we're going to talk aboutthe game. We're going to talk about
the things that we love inAzeroth and we want to bring what
we love about Azeroth. We wantto make it fun first, but we want

(11:00):
to make it centered around thecommunity and we want to just bring
it to the people who love theworld they play in.
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Andsome of the things that we really
stand by here, one isrespecting your time to really embracing
the way you choose to play. You know, if you're like me, you
love to role play, you love totransmog, you love to do collections,

(11:21):
you love PvP. Like you loveall of it. You love all of Azeroth.
Well, like, or maybe there'sjust one thing in particular profession,
whatever, it doesn't matter.Like, you're welcome here. Real life
first.
You love Mythics now.
I'm working on it, I'm trying,I'm putting my best foot forward.
Oh gosh. Real life first. Likeeverything Cash said. So, yeah, like,
you know, like you may have 30minutes, your dogs are barking, your

(11:44):
kids are ripping paint off thewalls, but you've got somehow 30
minutes to play and so you'regonna jump in. We totally resonate.
Like, did sink full of dishes?Yep. Totally get it. And so whether,
you know, you're a part of aguild or maybe you don't have a guild,
you know, this, this show'sfor you, it's for everybody. It's,

(12:05):
it's about World of Warcraft.Yes. But more so it's really about
the community who plays it andwe really want to embrace that. You
know, those people that youjust. Dagnabbit. Like everything
Cash said, you just loveAzeroth and that's what makes it
so exciting to do this show.
So what can you expect fromus? On Azeroth Morning Radio, we
are going to bring you aweekly show. So we're going to be

(12:27):
releasing every Tuesdaymorning with a brand new episode.
Unless, you know, of course, holidays or, you know, family stuff
comes along, but we usuallydon't take many breaks. We're going
to talk about the latest newsin Warcraft with the spin of two
best friends bagging on eachother probably the entire time and
talking about theirexperiences in the game. We are going

(12:48):
to have some random segments. So when we do our discussion topics,
we have a little fun themethat's going for our show that hopefully
you enjoy. We have a Goblincreated device and we'll talk a little
bit more about why we have aGoblin created device here in a minute.
But that device is calledSnark, the segment navigator and

(13:11):
randomizer kiosk. And that isgoing to spit out topics for us and
we're going to talk about someof those topics eventually. As a
stretch goal, we have someplans to do some live shows on Twitch.
We'd like to do that maybeonce a month. But, you know, we'll
see, we'll kind of see wherethis thing goes here a little while.
But we want to deliver yousome, some wacky humor.

(13:33):
Yeah, absolutely. Andsomething too that we really wanted
to say was that this show isabsolutely a love letter to all the
shows who came before us. Andit's really, really important that
we highlight those showsbecause while we were creating elsewhere,
we were admiring and listeningto those shows. I think of Gary Gannon

(13:53):
over at Gamebreaker TV withthe legendary show for World of Warcraft.
I think of early days of theinstance with Dills and Scott. I
think of Convert to Raid, youknow, like royalty in the World of
Warcraft space. And even morerecently, fast forward several years
later, you have Azeroth PublicRadio with Coltrane and Shoe Boots,

(14:14):
which I absolutely adore. Bothof them, just good, good dudes. Great
show. Absolutely love them. And then on even the current shows
now, so you've got Potty C,you've got the Bench, you've got
for Azeroth, you've got Was itWarbound? No, that's not right.
Warband.
Warband. Thank you, War Band.I mean, just phenomenal shows. And

(14:36):
so there's such a rich historyof podcasting in the World of Warcraft
space. It's important to meand to us that we really highlight
that and also that we're justhonored to be counted among them.
Now at this point, all theseyears later, when so many shows have
moved on but it's good tofinally be here and share the airwaves
with them because there's somecool, great shows out there. Great,
great shows. And we're juststoked to be here alongside them.

(14:59):
So we talked a little bitearlier about Snark, one of our Goblin
created devices. So somethingwe should probably get out of the
way. We have a Goblin soundcrew, don't we, Jibs? Yeah, we're
going to make a very longstory short. We wanted gnomes for
our sound crew, but for somereason they were on strike and we
had to go low bid. And we got Goblins.

(15:22):
I'm pretty sure it's becauseShoe Boots and Coltrane left mysteriously
in the district they're in.And they're just mad. All these years
later, they're still mad. So Ithink that's kind of where this is.
This is coming from. Thanks,Colt. They are.
And the Goblins, as you know, are wily and crafty and sneaky, and
they have proven to beinteresting. So just as an introduction,

(15:46):
we'll introduce you to thefolks in our sound booth. We have
Shifty and Grifty. Shifty. How's it sounding, buddy?
Sounded fine, as long as youkeep the gold flowing. Otherwise,
the mute button is lookingreal friendly.
Grifty's got his finger on thelaunch button, too. Figuratively,

(16:07):
I hope.
Hey, yeah. Relax. Yeah, relax.I only push it when I get bored,
so you might want to hurrythis segment up.
Yeah, okay. Okay. Yeah, we getit. They are. They're snarky. But
anyway, thank you, boys.
Back to work.
Hey, watch your mouth, pal.
Oh, well, before we getstarted on the very first segment

(16:29):
here, forever. This is thevery first time we'll ever say that
here on Azeroth morning Radio. We got a commercial break. We'll
be right back after themessage. Folks.

All right, welcome back, everybody. Thank you so much for
tuning in to Azeroth MorningRadio. So first up, one thing we're

(17:58):
going to do here on the show, something that we want to do do every
single episode. There's asegment, it's called Heroes Call
Board. And so every week whatwe'll be doing is we'll be highlighting
something wholesome or justawesome that's happening around the
World of Warcraft community.Something we've seen. Maybe it's,
you know, somebody doing agreat cause for something. Whatever

(18:19):
it is, we want to highlightit. And this week, this is a group
that Cash and I have been apart of for several, probably months
now at this point. It's onFacebook. It's a private group on
Facebook called World ofWarcraft Mount Farmers. They have
over 108,000 members. And letme tell you, every single one of
those people that we've comein contact with are incredibly supportive.

(18:41):
It's an amazing place forplayers just to sink their teeth
into Mount Farming. Andeverybody is for everybody. It's
pretty awesome. So if you wantto check out an awesome Facebook
group, if you're on Facebooklike we are, you can check us out
over there at Azeroth MorningRadio. Like, hey, apply for this
group. We're in it. It's awesome.
We're on Facebook because weare considered boomers. So my daughter

(19:05):
would consider me a boomer, which is fine.
I had to ask my kid what Riz,like, someone's got.
Oh, yeah, charisma.
No, that's Samson.
I am way off.
Yeah. No, apparently it meanswhen like you've got someone like
admires you, like you've gotsome. I don't know what we'd call

(19:27):
that these days, but yeah, soI'm just like, yeah, yeah. I feel
now. Perfect. That's awesome.
Weird. Well, the one thing Ido want to say about the the Mount
Farmers group is like, pickyour niche, right?
Oh, yeah.
There's so many differentniches in World of Warcraft and it's
such Azeroth is so much fun toescape to. Like, seriously, if you

(19:48):
got stuff going on in yourlife or you just want to just sit
down and chill, there are somany small little niches that you
can really sink your teethinto. But I really, I truly believe
that the real magic with amassively multiplayer online game
comes in the people. Comes inthe form of the people that play
it.
Yeah.
So, like, if you're one ofthose folks out there that play alone,

(20:12):
totally fine. But if you wantto add joy into the things that you
do, take some time, spend timetrying to find the right group. There
are some other groups outthere where I pretty frequently see
people, you know, that havehad problems in dungeons or, you
know, they. They have issueswith one thing or the other, but

(20:34):
sometimes it comes back topeople and there are. There's definitely
some jerks out there. But ifyou find the right folks that can
kind of enrich your. Your gameexperience in game and out, it's
gonna make a huge differencefor you.
Yeah, absolutely. You know, something we always say around here
is that gaming is better withfriends, whether they're, you know,

(20:56):
that's how you and I met. Fastforward 13 years. We went to. Remember
when Motiga invited us out tothe gigantic reveal, hanging out
at that gamer's bar. We wentto Twitch where we did the thing
with Eso and the great devteam. Like, you know, like, all that
is just through gaming. Youknow, all these fun experiences ultimately
outside of the game. But, youknow, like, that's. It's crazy because

(21:20):
the things oftentimes outsideof the game can enrich the things
within the game. And so it'sjust, you know, beautiful. Dude.
We know people who've gottenmarried that, you know, met through
gaming.
Oh, yeah.
You know, yeah. So it's.
I'm telling you, magicalthings happen when you put nerds
together.
Oh, absolutely. Yeah. Heckyeah, man. So anyway, yeah, definitely,
definitely go check that out. That's for sure.

(21:44):
Breaking news. Lots of Hollyused by the Goblin News Network.
News. We've got plenty of it.And here at Azeroth Morning Radio,
we're definitely going to becovering it. So what we're going
to do is give you someheadlines, especially for those of
you who are driving whatever, and you want to get caught up real
quick, we're going to do thatfor you. Do a little banter back

(22:04):
and forth. Then we're gonnajump into the main segment of the
day. So first up, we got themidnight deep dive broadcast. So
this is happening on October1st, happening at 9:00am Eastern.
No, I'm sorry, not 9:00amEastern. 9:00am Pacific, 12:00pm
Eastern. And this is happeningwith creative director Chris Metzen

(22:25):
and game director Ian hasAcostas. It's gonna be awesome, guys.
You're gonna be able to seenew zones, the story features of
the expansion, and then rightafter that they're doing a live.
A live stream. Q and A. Andthis is with lead developers of Midnight,
so you can submit yourquestions. Actually, because this
episode comes out the daybefore, so you can still submit your
questions by visiting thediscussion on the WoW forums and

(22:48):
subreddit. Dude, that's goingto be so exciting.
Yeah, it's going to be great. And I think one of the great things
about this is they're kickingit off the day before the midnight
alpha test goes live. So ifyou look on wow's website, they actually
have a timeline and it detailseverything about the alpha test that's

(23:09):
coming out. And by now, like,we know Blizzard, they do not f around
when it comes to having aschedule for this stuff. And they're
pretty good about sticking toit. Like, they're definitely good
about sticking with dates, but, you know, when you have alpha
tests and stuff like that, there's so much that can go wrong.
But it's nice that they'redoing it in the background while
the game's live. You can justcontinue to play your game if you

(23:32):
don't, you know, want to takepart in the. In the Alpha test. Well,
it's actually only. It'spretty exclusive.
Yeah.
The people that get take part. But, you know, all that's going on
in the background. People aretesting the game. There'll be tons
of YouTube videos out aboutit. I would imagine that at some
point they're going to dropthe NDA.
Mm.
And people are gonna be ableto see stuff and, you know, start

(23:53):
theory, crafting and gettingstuff ready for their characters
for Midnight.
Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's gonna bespecial. I love stuff like that,
honestly. Like, I don't know agamer that doesn't love a good roadmap.
They're always so satisfying, even when they're broken, like, even
when they're like, you know, they're not followed because something
happens. Maybe in development.Whatever. Everyone loves a good roadmap.

(24:13):
And so I'm excited WOW hasone. The kind of that, you know,
we can kind of follow along with.
Blizz actually puts in a lotof cryptic stuff in there too.
Oh, yeah.
Which is cool.
Yeah.
You know, like the one forhousing, it's like. What's that?
Yeah. Yeah.
Wait a minute.
Yeah.
Are we getting housing? Yes,we are, by the way.
Yeah.
If you didn't know that,welcome to 2025.

(24:34):
Yeah. And by the way, in thisvideo that Ian was in talking about
this whole live Q and A. Inthe background was Easter eggs. You
saw the Collector's Edition ofMidnight, which they literally just
announced as we're doing thisshow. Someone did. I think it's over
at Icy Veins. We'll have tocover it probably next episode. But
they had the Collector'sEdition sitting in the back. They

(24:55):
had the Home Sweet Home mugfrom the trailer, from the housing
trailer. And then you've got.I think there was another picture
there, but just all kinds offun little Easter eggs. I'm just
like, yes, this is awesome.
Yeah, they know how to playthe game.
Oh, yeah, absolutely. And thencoming up after that, you've got
Legion Remix. Hello. That'sexciting. I'm so stoked for this.

(25:17):
It's coming out 11 contentupdate aka October 7th. Now, for
those of you who are kind ofnot sure, you know, like, what this
kind of means, we're going tokind of jump in that a little bit.
But here's a quote from thenews article and they say, get ready
for fast frenetic fun andLegion Remix as you meet up with

(25:38):
the Infinite Dragonflight oncemore level new characters and earn
a variety of items to add toyour collection. We're turning things
up a notch during the Warwithin season three with increased
rewards and improvements tohelp you gear up your war band with
Turbo Boost. Explore theupdated Cooldown Manager as well
that I'm interested to seethat because I know when that came

(25:59):
out, that Cooldown Manager, when that came out, that I didn't
use it. I still don't use itbecause I didn't feel like it like
really gave me what I waslooking for. And so I'm really excited
to see what they do with theupdated version.
Yeah, I'm kind of with you onthat. I have recently started diving
into that because I'm tryingto become a student of the game with
my. My Resto Druid. And so I'mdoing a lot more, you know, keeping

(26:24):
a good eye on my. On mycooldowns and such. And I. I'm not
necessarily a weak auras guy.I wanted to try the. The native stuff
to the game. So, like, I'veswitched out a bunch of my ui, just
trying to give all the nativestuff a shot. And as of right now,

(26:46):
the Cooldown Manager leaves abit to be desired. Yeah, there's
just so much morecustomization and weak or is.
So it's true.
Anyway, we'll get there. I'msure it will. So anyway, let's look
at this timeline, we're goingto go through it pretty quick, but
the timeline for the LegionRemix is The launch is October 7th,

(27:06):
and they're following it upwith Rise of The Fallen on October
21, or Rise of theNightfallen. Excuse me. Legionfall
comes November 4, ArgusEternal. November 18, Infinite Echoes,
December 9. And the importantthing to remember about this is to
play Legion Remix, which weare going to get into here. You do
not need an expansionpurchase. All you need is a wow Subscription,

(27:30):
or if you. If you go the wayof game time, that's all you need.
And even classic players can play.
That's awesome.
All you gotta do is just.Yeah, just gotta download retail
and you're good to go, whichmakes it really nice and super accessible
for a lot of people.
Oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely. And speaking of here at the show,
as you know, we have somepretty crafty Goblins that I'm sure

(27:51):
you'll get to know over thecourse of the show with whatever
shenanigans happen. Butanyway, occasionally they can come
up with some. I mean, ifyou're an engineer like me in the
game, you. They can come upwith some pretty handy devices. The
gnomes can too, but there'sjust something about a rust bucket
that, you know, the Goblinmade that's just extra special. So

(28:12):
to help us figure out some funsegments, every week they have come
up with a little contraptionthey call, Let me make sure I'm reading
this correctly, the SegmentNavigator and Randomizer Kiosk, or
Snark for short. Wow. Allright, so let's hope this thing works
and we'll see what they comeup with. Fire it up, boys.

(28:40):
Snark online. Okay, dideverything fart at the end?
That may have been a slippedgear or something. Maybe a. Yep.
Sound like a fart.

(29:00):
Sound like a slip bowel to me.
Oh, yeah.
Screw you, pal.
Well, it spit out. Will it fly?
Will it fly?
All right, friends, this is asegment where we decide if Blizzard's
shiny new idea is going tosoar like a gyrocopter or crash and
burn. And we're. What do youguess the topic is going to be? Jibs.

(29:24):
It's going to be Torghast.
No, we're going to. We're pastthat time in our lives.
Sorry.
Yeah, Torghast is.
Did not fly.
Thank God it's no more.
Didn't fly. All right, copy.
No, doofus. We're talkingabout Legion Remix. We're going to
dive a little bit more intoLegion Remix and kind of give you

(29:46):
our Opinions on whether or notwe think this thing's going to fly.
So what is it? We talked alittle bit about, you know, basically
what was on the website, butit's a seasonal event and it's something
that is a mode that'scompletely outside of retail or outside
of classic or any other gamemodes that Blizzard has, where players

(30:07):
can create a Time Runner asone of the original 12 legion classes.
And you can kind of playthrough the entire Legion expansion,
but it's at a more acceleratedrate. And you start at level 10,
you get to level 80. Andthey've added like a bunch of gameplay
twists that we'll get into, but you're going to collect power.

(30:30):
There's a lot more differentchallenges. And there is a freaking
ton of cosmetics, like pets, mounts and Transmog and stuff like
that. Now, the one thing thatI love that they did with this, I
guess we're gonna. I'm gonnaout at least myself here. I love
the lore of this game.
Oh, yeah.
And half the people listeningjust turned it off.

(30:53):
That's okay. That's all right.We both love it. It's good. It's
all right.
Yes. Yeah, I know you're alower hand too. So anyway, they added
in some lore perspective forthis and. And I was pretty stoked
about that because there hasto be a reason why you're going back
to Legion, right? So anyway,Eternus and the Infinite Dragonflight,
which was also present in Mopthe Mop Remix, are seeking to understand

(31:15):
what happened in the Legiontimeline. So as Time Runners, you
as the player, we are going tohelp them uncover what really saved
Azeroth the last time theLegion attacked and almost freaking
wiped us, basically. Sothere's a bunch of features that
Jib's going to talk about herethat is going to be included in Remix.

(31:36):
And I'm super excited aboutprobably half of them anyway.
Dude, I'm so stoked for LegionRemix. I never got to do Mr. Pandaria
remix. I just. I don'tremember why, but it just didn't
happen. And Legion is such a.Like, whenever it comes to expansions
just in general for me, it'salways like. I always think back

(31:57):
to where I was at during thattime of that expansion. Like the
experience that surrounds notonly what's in game, but also outside
of that, like, I still thinkfondly. Here's a little peek behind
the curtain. I was an audioengineering teacher at a prison during
dragonflight, and I was off onFridays, so whatever.
It sounds like a book.

(32:19):
I know Dude, I know there'seven more stories to that. Let me
tell you folks. But anyway, every Friday morning during dragonflight,
because of when I would wakeup for work, I. Dude, I'm waking
up at 5am at the time. Right. So I just got accustomed to waking
up early. Well, on Fridayswhen I was off and the family, you
know, they're still sleeping,I would be here and I'd be on top
of the mountain inDragonflight and I'd always watch

(32:42):
the sunrise. And it was justlike one of those things. I'm just
like, man and so.
Nerd, nerd.
So. But like, dude, for me,like, I'm so stoked to go back to
the Legion again and to havethe class hall again and all these
features and so, yeah, dude, like you're going to get the accelerated
faster leveling. And thisincludes your dungeons, raids, campaign

(33:04):
order halls. Hello, artifactweapons. Yes, please. Legion assaults,
world quests, invasion points, all the fun things. Time running,
that's a reward currency. Soyou're going to get bronze to be
used to buy cosmetic rewards. And this is acquired through your
quests and the achievements, caches, treasures, activities. And

(33:24):
then of course you haveartifact weapons. They'll have infinite
magic, whatever that is. And.
Well, it's. It's the system.
Oh, is it?
So the artifact weapons arelike the way you power that is through
infinite magic.
Oh.
And it's not. It's not goingto be the way it was because it's
that, you know, that wholeborrowed power thing that, you know,
everybody either loves or hates.

(33:45):
Right.
In, you know, the subsequentexpansions that WOW has had. But
this is going to be different. So it's going to be a more general
system of power that coincidesa bit with the more, for lack of
a better term, I guess, forthe accelerated timeline that they're
putting you.
Yeah.
That you'll be in because theleveling is definitely going to be

(34:06):
faster.
Right.
So it's, it's more generalizedthan just like specific to your class.
Like you're going to be ableto pick like nature arcane or you
know, some. There's somedifferent ways that you're going
to be able to fill out thatyour artifact weapon skill tree.
Right, right.
So then they got some of theother things that they have. Time

(34:29):
warped obelisks which aregoing to be scattered throughout
the world. They're going toprovide the players with cool buffs
or effects. There's infiniteresearch which is. It's almost pound
for pound the. The samesimilar weekly system in War within,
where you get to kind of pickwhat your focus is for the week.
Yeah.
Which is pretty cool. One ofthe things that everybody's really

(34:51):
looking. Well, a lot of peopleare looking forward to are, is the
return of the Mythic plusdungeons. Because Legion is what
launched Mythics, so peopleare, like, pumped. But from what,
like, even Blizzard says thatthe Legion remixes Mythics are going
to be freaking insane. Andthey want to see people break it.
Nice.
Yeah.

(35:12):
I love it. Challenge accepted.
Like, yeah. Is. Does anybody.Does anybody want to do a plus 40?
Nope.
Nope. No, I do not. I want to fish.
Absolutely not. I'm gonna. Iwant to fish in a. In a green pool.
That's right. Oh, my gosh. That's hilarious. Oh, that's gonna
be awesome.

(35:32):
So that I. I think there's alot of, like, really cool features
that are going to be in Remix, but one of the biggest ones, and
this is something that Jibsand I have been talking about for
a long time, wishing andhoping it would come to World of
Warcraft. And that's theheroic world tier.
Oh, Billy. Yes.

(35:54):
Yes. Don't run away from yourfeelings. Brother's got a hook. So
now they took inspiration fromDiablo for this, of course, because
it's a Blizzard game, so thatmakes plenty of sense. But Diablo
does have a system like thiswhere you can make it, for all intents
and purposes, way morefreaking hard in the world. And where

(36:15):
this resonates for me is fromLord of the Rings online, they have
a similar system to where youcan pick, like one of several different
levels and to play, and itmakes all the old content relevant
again.
Yeah.
Now, I have a sneakingsuspicion that Blizzard is testing

(36:37):
that type of a system forretail. Oh, yeah, that's what I think
this is absolutely. Whichwould be freaking phenomenal now.
Yes.
Just. Yeah. A few things tosay about this system. You can opt
in to the heroic world tour. You don't have to do it. All it does
is makes your content morechallenging. Enemies will have more

(37:00):
health. They will hit freakingway harder, and they're going to
have unique affixes to them. But coincidentally, if you can make
it through a lot of this tieror, you know, finish off these places
in the world where this isgoing to be at this level, your rewards
are going to be commensurate. You're gonna get way better rewards

(37:22):
for that.
Yeah. This is everything Ihave ever wanted and more for World
of Warcraft, because then whenthis comes to retail, and you know
it will. You know it will.Especially if it's really well received.
It's going to make old contentrelevant again for so many players.

(37:43):
I. I purposely want to do LoreMaster, but I'm purposely waiting
because I don't want to just, you know, fart in an NPC's general
direction and they die, youknow, So I want a fight. I want that
experience. And yes, there'ssome ways that you can kind of do
that now, but something likethis. Oh, yes, please.

(38:05):
Yeah. And we should probablysave that topic of conversation for
another segment at, you know,on a future episode. But I, like,
I have a huge question aboutthat. If they were to bring a system
like the Heroic World tier,or, you know, maybe. Maybe you could
pick a medium difficulty.Maybe you could pick a difficulty

(38:26):
that's just a little bit abovewhat it is, which I don't know why
you would want, because you'vefreaking one shot and everything
out there. But how would theyhandle it for nerds like me? Like,
I already have Lore Master.
Right.
Like way back in. Not wayback, but in 2020. I was just looking
at it last night. 2020, I gotlore Master, but that was, you know,

(38:50):
a few expansions ago, so it'dbe way harder to get now because
you have so many moreexpansions. But what would they do
with all the content that I'vealready done? Like, I wouldn't be
able to go back to a lot ofthose areas and redo that stuff,
or would I? I just don't knowhow they'd handle that.
You know, that brings me backto when you and I were playing Ghost

(39:12):
Recon Wildlands together. Youremember that?
Yeah, I got Loremaster in thatgame too.
Yeah, Loremaster and How toFire a Bullet. And there was a thing
in that game, I think it wascalled Tears, like Tier Ones or Echelon
tiers.
Yeah.
So basically, in a way, itwould kind of reset you. And I think

(39:33):
other games did this too. Ican't remember what game, but basically
it would reset, you know, whatyou. You had accomplished. Oh, I
think Call of Duty did thiswith Prestige System back in the
day too. You would. You wouldlose what you've accomplished in
a way, but you would earnsomething in the process. I wouldn't
be so shocked to see somethinglike that to where you enable that.

(39:53):
And yes, you've acquired LoreMaster, but now it's something else
as well that you're going tomaybe go and try to achieve or attain.
Dude, if they take that titlefrom me, I riot.
No, no, don't take the title. No, no, no.
I Live. I live right next toBlizzard, dude. I riot. I'll be out
there with. With a sign thatsays Blizzard screwed me. Prove me

(40:15):
wrong.
Oh my gosh, Dude, I tell youwhat. There is nothing better than
when you and I are in abattleground together and you just
blow up somebody as your druidand you are wearing the Lore master
title because you know thatthey know they just got beat by.
Somebody who was by a super nerd.

(40:37):
Like that's us, dude. That'sour people. You know, it's just like.
Yep, I love it.
No, that is true. It's. It'spretty fun. Rocking Lore master title
in. In Battlegrounds.
Yeah. Yeah.
That's a good and whooping ass.
Yeah.
At the same time they're like, what the hell's happening in my life?
Oh yeah. Oh yeah, yeah.
So anyway, it's that just asone of the big topics for. For us,

(41:00):
that world tier thing is gonnabe. I got all eyes.
Oh yeah.
That heroic world tier, absolutely. What excites you about
Remix man?
That's a really good question. So when I. And I kind of said it
earlier, but I'm very much. When it comes to expansions, I honestly

(41:22):
look at the two things. Numberone. Well, no, really one thing.
The experience of it overall. That and of course the story and
the lore. Because it's a hugething to me. I have so many books
of Warcraft that I have notfinished or read that are just at
this point collectibles on myshelves, you know, like, I love the
lore of this world. And so forme, I think. I think it's a mixture

(41:45):
of one going back andexperiencing the Order hall with
a Paladin. Because I've neverfinished the Paladin or a hall ever,
ever. In fact, I can. I thinkI've only ever finished it on a Rogue
ever. Like, I've never.
Oh, it's a good story.
I know. Yeah, that's a good story.

(42:06):
Yeah.
But you know, like, Ihonestly, I was thinking of the day,
I don't think I've everfinished an order hall outside of
that rogue. So for me it's.And I'm a paladin at heart, at least
my main. And so for me it'sbeing able to see that Order hall
done. And I honestly, dude, what excites me the most is the heroic

(42:27):
worlds here putting that thingon and cranking it as high up as
I can go and just taking mytime in the world.
Liar.
What?
You're such a freaking liar.
How. Dude, you know something?
I don't Yeah, I absolutely do,because I know you very well.
What?
Transmog. That is. Yeah. Oh,that is the most exciting thing for

(42:50):
you, dude. Guaranteed.
Yes.
Transform.
Yes, I am absolutely. Thatmeme when that guy's walking down
the street with that girl andhe passes by the other one and he's,
like, turning and he's like, ooh, well, that other girl is.
Almost forgot about the Transmon.
That's right. That's right.Transmog is in game, baby. I live
for that. I live for that. So,yeah, it is. Yeah. All those things.

(43:11):
And transmog, what about you?
Yeah, dude, I just had thegreatest idea that I know we would
never achieve.
Let's. Oh, what's that like?
I don't know. Pick fiveclasses and get to the order hall
on every single one of those classes.
Holy cow. You know, people aregoing to do it and, you know they'll
film it on YouTube. I finishedorder hall in 54 minutes or whatever

(43:33):
it is.
No, it's. I don't know. Forme, it's. It's a little bittersweet
because I. I want to go back.I'm doing it for Druid. Okay? I'm.
I'm going back. I'm gonna rollanother Druid, which blows my collective
mind, because I'm not reallyan alt guy at all. And there's one

(43:56):
reason why I don't want tohave to babysit and update 10 freaking
characters in retail. Andthat's where these characters are
going when you're done. Like, you can move them over. They're going
to be moved over to retail. SoI'm gonna do Druid again for one
reason, and that reason is toget the new Druid flight form.
Oh.
I'm a Druid flight formcollector. I really dig them. And

(44:18):
that fell. I love owls anyway.Like, owls are. Are my thing. So
to get that new fell Druidflight form is, like, number one
on my list to get. And I don'tknow how easy that's going to be.
I might just, like, freakingjust kill low mobs as much as I can.

(44:40):
Just do quests until I haveenough bronze to just go buy that
thing.
Yeah.
But I still kind of want to gothrough my class campaign again,
so, I don't know, like, hey,if you have any ideas of how I should
handle this second Druid, because my I. I play Resto Druid,
and I really enjoy it, andI've got so much stuff done. He's
an old character. He's. He'sbeen around for years. And I just,

(45:02):
you know, love having tons ofachievements on him, but I don't
really know how. What I'mgonna do with a second Druid.
I think. I think the. Thething is you go a different spec.
I think you don't go resto.
Oh, no, I'm not going to goresto this. On with this particular.
Oh, you're not.
But, I mean, dude, it's oneclick. It's one click, and I'm in

(45:22):
balance. I'm in Guardian or, Imean, I'm in Feral, so. They've made
it so easy.
You've never tanked. Youshould tank. Well, you have tanked,
but that was. That was. Wedon't count this season when you
had hair.
Yeah, that was a long timeago. It was luscious locks of hair.
I miss hair.

(45:45):
Again, a topic for another show.
Another topic. All right, solet me ask you this. What worries
you the most about diving intoRemix? Any reservations?
Yes, I do have a reservation. And this is probably gonna make me
look like an idiot, but it'sgonna take me away from retail.

(46:05):
Oh, yeah?
Yeah. Probably for severalweeks, it's gonna take me away from
retail. And again, like, I.I'm not really an alt guy, so I'm
gonna have to. I want to doall the things in remix, but at the
same time, I also want to, youknow, run Mythics and do Delves and

(46:26):
keep up with all the things onmy character with, you know, all
the latest stuff. So that'llbe a little bit of a weird feeling
knowing that I'm gonna have asecond druid.
Yeah.
That I'm gonna have putseveral weeks into and probably love.
Probably love whatever spec Igo into for remix, I'm gonna love
that druid, and I'm gonna wantto nurture him in retail so that,

(46:49):
seriously, like, that is mybiggest reservation.
Totally get it. And that'sexactly how I feel. I'm. I am concerned
that I am going to miss out alot on retail because I am absolutely
going to go whole hog on thisthing. You talk transmog, there is
so much mogul. Holy cow. There's so much Mog. Honestly, truthfully,

(47:09):
dude, what I may do, what I'llprobably do to help alleviate that
concern about retail is justgo whole hog and try to do classes
that are all plate just toacquire more transmog, because, you
know, how they all kind of,you know, Chuck and jive together
these days, and so that way Icould use more mog, I guess. I guess
it's one way to Alleviate thatworry. But yeah, I feel the exact

(47:31):
same way. I'm definitelyconcerned about. About how this is
gonna affect my retail time. It's my retail time.
But. But you know what'll becool is we'll be. We'll be in there
with our friends. We'll be inthere with our. Here's another thing
I want to do. We'll be inthere with our new guild.
Yeah, we joined a new guild, dude.
We did join a new guild andit's really been a lot of fun. I

(47:53):
think we should probably askthe GM if we could mention the guild
name before we do.
So. Yeah.
For the four people listening. For the four people listening.
Four people, though.
I mean, four people are very influential.
Oh. Oh, gosh.
Okay. Well, then let me. Letme ask you this.

(48:13):
All right.
We've talked a lot about thedetails and kind of summarize what
Legion Remix is going to be.It's gonna be a lot of green. I hope
you like green because there'sa lot of it. So I will throw down
the gauntlet to you, myfriend. Do you think Legion Remix
is going to fly?
Oh, yeah. She's going to fly. She's going to fly. Soar, baby. She's

(48:36):
going to. She's going to flyover Azeroth taking screenshots the
whole way around the world.Absolutely. I think this is going
to be a huge success. I thinkit's going to be. And then I think
immediately you'll see in theconversation, does Blizzard do XYZ
Remix as well? Whateverexpansion that is, like, they'll.
It'll immediately jump towhatever the. The next choice is

(48:59):
and you'll see. I bet you seethat on headlines. I Particularly
if they nail Heroic Worldtier, if you can nail that system.
Because when Cash brings upLord of the Rings online, the impact
that that had on that IP inthat community is ash was astronomical.

(49:20):
So if that is. If that landsin the biggest MMO in the world and
it flies, dude, holy cow. Youwant to talk about some exciting
things on the horizon? That'sit. Because then the sky's the limit
on how they choose to do a lotof that stuff.
Yeah. And I. I really do thinkthere's a lot of, like, hidden testing

(49:41):
going on in here for futurecontent, which is. And you know,
namely Heroic world here. Ireally do think they're testing it.
So, yeah, give it goodfeedback, everybody, because we want
this Heroic World tier or someversion of it in retail would be
absolutely phenomenal andwould just completely. Can I say
fluff it would completelyfluff old content.

(50:03):
Oh, yeah.
I think especially if theyadded more content with it. You know,
some new stories and stuff.
Yes, please. Yes, please. Youbasically then have Classic plus
built right into retail atthat point, you know.
Did he say classic?
Oh, that's a whole nother episode.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, gosh. Well, I tell youwhat, folks, if you want to learn

(50:25):
more about Legion Remix, cash, was it Mr. GM that had the video
out?
Yes, Mr. GM has an amazingvideo out, actually. It is all encompassing,
detailing all the features ofthe event, everything we talked about,
but it's all in. In veryintricate detail because there's
a ton. I mean, we could. Wecould do a three hour show just on

(50:46):
what Legion Remix is and whatall the systems are and such. But
yeah, Mr. GM has a very newvideo. I think as of recording of
this show, it's a couple days old.
Yeah.
But it's on YouTube and we'lllink it in our. In our show notes.
And I want to say whether ornot I think it's gonna fly.
Oh, I'm sorry. I totally just.
He does this.
I. Not intentionally. Goahead. My bad. Is it gonna fly?

(51:12):
Yes, it's gonna fly. I thinkit's gonna fly.
All right.
I really do. I think that. Ithink they've learned a ton from
what people like, what peopledidn't like about Mop. The Mop remix.
Yeah.
And I just think that this oneis. Is gonna knock it out of the
park. And then people aregonna be so hyper fixated on getting

(51:33):
everything they possibly canout of Legion Remix. And then what's
going to happen right after that?
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Hey, everybody. You now have amortgage. You get a house in Elwyn
Forest.
Oh, yes. Gosh. We need to talkhousing as soon as possible, but
I think next week willprobably be Legion.

(51:55):
I'm sure it's going to belegion. But yeah, we. We're definitely
going to talk housing.
Oh, yeah.
Whether you love it or youhate it, we're gonna talk about it.
Absolutely. Well, folks, we'regonna take a quick commercial break
and then we will be back toend the show. Welcome to Brewfest
2025, where the ale is cold, the mounts are fast, and the gameplay

(52:16):
is kind of like this. How areyou? Would you fancy a pint of ale?
I just tried to say it on thisram five minutes ago. It's still
deciding whether or not to let me.
Yeah, I raised my mug threeframes ago. My arm. Harm. Harm still
hasn't caught up yet, so comeon down to brew fest, grab a pint,

(52:43):
watch the slideshow andexperience Azeroth's most frame by
frame festival. It's likePowerPoint, but with beer. Cheers.
Side effects may includeteleporting rams, frozen dwarves,
delayed toasts, and alespilled. In another timeline, Azeroth

(53:47):
The hearth is lit.
We are gonna go back and forthand hearth this entire show. It will
be a thing.
You know, I've grownuncomfortable saying hearth. To me
it's hearth. I've. And that'sa recent development before the show.
You said it yesterday.
That's fair. All right.Anyway, you can Visit our website
