Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, and welcome into Tuesday Show. Glad to be
back in here with you. Yesterday it was Liam's first
day of school, and your brother like, whatdy?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
How was he already back in school?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
He goes to one of those year round schools, so
that's why he's back in school at least, so I
had to take him for his first day, which was
incredible but also scary as well because it's like, holy crap,
you're growing up, Kim. It's one O five nine the Right,
Nashville's Cloudsigrog, It's Battle of the Morning. Glad to be
back here with you on a Tuesday. And on the
show today, we're giving away Holiday World tickets at six forty.

(00:31):
We'll play one stupid question, eight ten, we'll battle it
out for Rod Stewart tickets. Real quick, let's take a
look at what's trending this morning. Elon Musk, the Boring Company,
along with Tennessee officials, announced plans for an underground tunnel
intended to connect the Nashville International Airport with downtown Nashville.
They made this big announcement yesterday. They say that the

(00:54):
Boring Company is planning to begin construction following the completion
of the approvals process that the company expects the first
segment of the loop to be operational as early as
fall of twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
As you know that they have one of these in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I think they said that there's like a ninety nine
percent safety rating and they just did their three millionth riders,
so that should be interesting. A little downtown loop between
Nashville and the airport. Also in big news, not surprising really,
Tennessee Titans yesterday waving Trailing Burks from the roster. As
you know, Traylon Burks was a part of that AJ

(01:34):
Brown trade where, you know, general manager John Robbinson's, Ah,
you know what, we're not gonna pay aj We'll ship
you to the Eagles and we'll draft your replacement. And
Trailing Burks never really lived up to the potential of
being AJ Brown's, you know, replacement. Also, Trailing Burks went

(01:55):
down Saturday at their practice and their open practice with
a fractured collarbone, and so they were like, yeah, it's
time to move on from this experiment. But Trailing Burks
no longer in the two tone Blue. That is a
look at what's trending this morning. Aerosmith and a two
Fur on the way Next I want to join the show.

It's t one oh five nine the Right Nashville's Classic
Rockets Battle in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Hey, you ever have one of those moments.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Where you remember exactly where you were when you hear
heard someone pass away, Like it just hits different, right,
And I was thinking about this the other day, like
how certain celebrity deaths just kind of rock your world
more than others. I mean, last week we lost Malcolm
Jamal Warner, Ozzy Hulk Cogan. This morning we find out
that Ryan Sandberg from the Cubs he passed away, And

(07:32):
it got me thinking about like that one celebrity death
that like really shook me. And I gotta go back
to Steve McNair, right, because I mean that one hurt
like deep down, he was my favorite football player growing up.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
I had the jersey I had the poster.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
I had everything, Like dude was a warrior, played through pain,
led with heart and just had that kind of grit
that you don't see every day, right. And I remember
exactly where I was when I found out, and I
was sitting there like everybody else and it comes across
the screen. I'm like, what is happening right now? And man,
I just sat there stunned, like like what happened? Steve

(08:12):
McNair's dead, Like what?

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:14):
And it's a weird feeling, right because we don't know
these people personally, but they still have such a huge
impact on our lives. Whether it's an athlete, a musician,
an actor. They become a part of our memories, part
of our story, you know. So it's like losing someone
who was with you through all of the big moments,
even if they never knew you were watching.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
So I'd love to hear.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
From you this morning, and if you want to be
a part of the show. Six one five seven three
seven one five nine is the number which celebrity passing
hit you the hardest. Let's take your phone calls. We'll

Six seven, one oh five nine is the number if
you want to jump in on the show. We're talking
about what celebrity death hits you the hardest. Because last
week it was Crazy Malcolm, Jamal Warner, Ozzy than Hult Cogan.
Then this morning you wake up to Ryan Sandberg passing away.
I asked you what celebrity death hits you the hardest?
You want to get in on the show. Six one five, seventh,
three seven, one oh five nine is the number, Adrian

(10:26):
on holding Clarksville. Who is that celebrity death for you
that hit you the hardest.

Speaker 10 (10:31):
I think the celebrity death that really hit me hardest
was Robin Williams. Yeah, because I think when a comedian's
light goes out.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
It just it really dims the world.

Speaker 10 (10:43):
And I felt that whenever I talked to anybody about him,
and I still do.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Yeah, And that was one of those wild ones.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
When you saw it happening on you know, social media,
of him passing away, it's like the funniest man that
brought all smiles to our face. You didn't realize what
he was going through, and then you see what happened
and Howie died, and you're just like you never knew that.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
That definitely one.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Was a shock to a lot of people. Six five seven,
three seven, one oh five nine is the number. If
you want to get in what celebrity death hits you
the hardest? Will take more of your costs. Next, it
is a two for Tuesday, giving you a double shot
right now from GNR six five seven, three seven, one
oh five nine is the number if you want to
get in on the show this morning talking about celebrity
deaths that hits you the hardest. Let's go to Wendy

(11:30):
on Hold, who is listening on the iHeartRadio app this
morning in Ashlanden City.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Who is that celebrity for you, Wendy.

Speaker 10 (11:37):
The celebrity death that hit me the hardest was David Bowie.

Speaker 11 (11:40):
I've just been such a huge fan for years and
it was eerie because I had just seen I don't
know if it was his documentary or his music video
where he's got stars over his space. It's like the
man knew his time was limited as days were numbered.
So yeah, it's just it got me in the guts.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
You know a lot of people think the same way
that you think about David Bowie as Ozzy, because I
mean you think about it.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
A couple of weeks back, had that big.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Final shows, ginormous tons of people, tons of rock stars
showing up, talk about a way to go out right man?
Uh six five seven three seven, one O five nine
is the number. One celebrity death hits you the hardest,
will take more of your phone calls?

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Next? It's one oh five nine the right Nashville's Classic

you the hardest. Six one five, seventh seven, one oh
five nine is the number. It's one O five nine
in the right Nashville's Classic Rocket's Battle in the Morning
ed in Paducah.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Who is that for you?

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Beyond a shadow? With doubt? Stevie Rayvaughn ooh.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
That that definitely is a tough one. What do you
remember where you were when you found out about it?

Speaker 5 (12:47):
Not exactly, but I tell you this, Stevie had I'm
studied on him quite a bit. I saw him first time.
It was in December of eighty six, and he and
Tommy Shannon had only been sober like sixty or seventy
five days at the time. Drugs and alcohol just about
killed him both. Yeah, And I saw him a month
before he died in a place called pineob in Clarkston, Michigan,

(13:11):
and he played with Joe Cocker that night, and he
gave Joe Cocker the lead. Stevie played warm up for
Joe Cocker, and Joe was old, you know, and he
let him play out front, and Stevie came out and
played about half a dozen songs behind Joe Cocker that night.
He was three and a half years sober. His life
was in order, man. I mean, he was working hard,
he was making money, he had a good woman in

(13:33):
his life. He was making fine, fine music. And helicopter
crash up there a month after I saw him, and
I was devastated. I really was. The guy was unbelievable
to watch on stage. I mean, I think Jackson Brown
put it best one time. If musical notes were rain drops.
Stevie ray bron brought Stevie ray Vaughn brought a hurricane

(13:56):
with him.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Man, that's awesome. I appreciate you going in this morning
