Monsignor Anthony Figueiredo is a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark (USA) who holds a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University and a licentiate in spirituality from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas. He has served in the Vatican Curia, taught in seminaries both in the U.S. and Rome, and overseen the Catholic mission at Seton Hall University. Currently, he is Director of International Affairs for the Diocese of Assisi and plays a leading role in promoting the cause and organizing international pilgrimages of the relics of Saint Carlo Acutis, particularly the pericardium of St. Carlo.
