The July That Changed Everything
By Srikanth Chudanath
It was a regular birthday dinner in Singapore — July 12th, 2024. I was at the Manchurian Club with Chinni and the kids. Laughter filled the table. Starters arrived. Cake was waiting. But inside me, there was no celebration. I was on a silent mission — to close my 25th sale before the end of the day.
Not for validation. Not for applause. Just to prove to myself that I could set a bold goal and finish it. I had made a promise — and I didn’t want to sleep without keeping it.
I kept checking my phone and calling leads. Following up. No fancy systems. No team. Just one man, one phone, and the fire to complete what he started.
At 8:32 PM, it happened. The 25th sale came in — from my hairstylist. No big prospect. No warm lead. Just proof that when you show up with heart, results will come. I looked up, saw my kids laughing, Chinni smiling. For the first time that night, I felt my birthday.
But something more important happened that evening — a switch flipped in me. I realized I didn’t need motivation. I just needed movement. I didn’t need talent. I needed consistency.
From that day, I stopped negotiating with my dreams. Every day, I showed up. Some days I made 3 hours of calls. Some days, 7. No matter how many rejections, I just kept going.
And then on June 17th, 2025 — we hit 200 students. The final one came after 18 hours of calling. No ads. No shortcuts. Just belief. I sat with a water bottle and told myself: “You don’t get up until you do what you said you would.”
That was the moment I knew — this journey wasn’t about sales. It was about identity.
Now, I live by three non-negotiables:
Sales — my space of service.
Social Media — my voice to inspire.
Srikanth — the man I’m becoming daily.
This July, I’m not just celebrating a birthday. I’m celebrating the version of me that refused to quit. That didn’t need luck. Just fire.
This is no longer a goal. It’s my DNA.
I show up — even when no one’s watching.
I do the work — even when I feel like hiding.
I lead — because this fire isn’t mine alone. It’s meant to light up others.
If my journey can help even one person rise again, then it’s all been worth it — every rejection, every tear, every long night.
So here I am. July again. A new chapter.
Not with fanfare. But with fire.
And a promise — to never break the word I gave myself.
Let the fire begin.
