(00:00):
CBS sports is Cody Benjaminreleased his top 10 NFL wide

(00:05):
receiver duos list.
James, I'm gonna give you thetop 10 right now.
You tell me what he got wrong.
Number one, he has AJ Brown andDevonte Smith two Jamar, chase
and T Higgins.
Three, Justin Jefferson andJordan Addison.
Four.
He is got cd, lamb and GeorgePickens.
Five Almond Raw, St.
Brown, Jameson Williams, six.

(00:26):
Pka.
Nku, Devonte Adams seven, TyreeK and Jalen Waddle eight.
Terry McLaurin and Deebo.
Samuel nine.
Mike Evans and Chris Gowin intoRound Out has top 10.
He included Brian Thomas Jr.
And Travis Hunter of theJacksonville Jaguars.
James, I have a lot of thoughtson this list, but you tell me

(00:47):
yours, what do you think abouthis top 10 duos list?
Dude, this list is by far forme, outrageous and number one,
I'll say it like this.
Number three is wrong, four iswrong, five is wrong.
I would take pka Nku and DevonteAdams over three, four, and
five.
To have Brian Thomas and TravisHunter in there is insane and

(01:09):
for one odd reason to have TerryMcLaurin, who I think is maybe
the fourth best receiver in theNFC East, to have Devo in there
who has been on a decline atnine for them to be the duo at
nine, I think is wrong.
I think there are other duosthat are way better.
Maybe the one receiveroutperforms one or the other.
But yeah, hot take wise, I'mgoing Devonte and pka Nku at

(01:33):
three.
And I'm okay with the Eaglesstaying at one because I've seen
AJ Brown beast up.
Everyone with, I guess everyonecalls it an unable to throw
quarterback and he's stillputting up decent numbers.
Now it's not Jamar Chase notice, but guess what?
Hey man, his team's not down 40to to 10 every game'cause of the
defense.
But yeah, you know what I'lltake the eagles.

(01:55):
Gimme the Bengals.
No Eagles one, Bengals two.
And then gimme the Rams atthree.
I slightly agree with you, butI'm gonna push back.
I think you have to start anyduos list with number one being
the Cincinnati Bengals, JamarChase, t Higgins.
You can make a strong case thatJamar Chase coming off of his
Triple Crown season is the bestwide receiver in football.

(02:17):
I've always been a big fan of tHiggins.
I believe he has been a top 10wide receiver for a long time in
the NFL, and I think heestablished himself as one of
the 10 most talented widereceivers in the NFL last year.
I think you start a list withhim, but I'm with you, AJ Brown
and Devonte Smith.
That has to be number twobecause AJ Brown on any given
Sunday himself can be the bestwide receiver in football.

(02:39):
And I'm with you, Devonte Adams.
I don't care.
He is getting up there in age.
Him and pka Nku are going to besensational receiving passes
from Matthew Stafford next year.
But just the inclusion of BrianThomas Jr.
And Travis Hunter on this list.
Cody Benjamin is definitelytrying to get some clicks here
for this.
You cannot put Travis Hunter onhere already.

(03:00):
Maybe he ends up being great andI'm certainly not gonna be
Smirch how great Brian Thomaswas as a rookie, was one of the
best wide receivers in theentire league last year, let
alone as a rookie and going intohis second year, how much better
he'll be.
But we can't be doing this.
We, we can't say honestly thatwe look at every other duo

(03:20):
across the NFL and we thinkBrian Thomas and Travis Hunter
are the number 10 I, right offthe bat, I'll tell you one that
I like more already and they'renot here.
Gimme some love for the KansasCity Chiefs and Xavier worthy
and Rashe Rice.
I think that is a much betterduo and we've seen both these
guys, you know, they came on atthe end of the year for Xavier

(03:42):
Worthy, had two touchdowns inthe Super Bowl, Rashi Rice we've
seen when he's healthy.
He is an excellent receivingoption.
I like their talent more than Ilike the Jacksonville Jaguars,
at least going in to the 2025season.
And for me, I'll reach a littlebit as well if we're gonna put a
well-known receiver and someonewho hasn't stepped on the field
yet, gimme whoever is gonna bewide receiver two and gimme Nico

(04:06):
Collins for the Texans.
If you're doing it for theJaguars, do it for the Texans.
Because we've already know whatNico Collins has done the last
two years.
He's even made me eat my owncrow.
So if Travis hunter's in there, gimme one of those Jalen you got
from Iowa State man, or even aformer Jaguar himself.
Christian Kirk.
You can make the argument thathim and Nico Collins is a better

(04:26):
duo.
And I know Nico Collins is doinga lot of the weight carrying
there for sure.
But nonetheless, I love thatduo.
And let me mention this one alsothat they snuck in there.
I'm not pretending anymore thatTyreek Kill and Jalen Waddle are
some insane top three duo.
I think they had them at sevenon this list.

(04:47):
I might even drop them a littlebit lower because what we saw
from Tyreek Hill last year, Iwasn't really moved by him.
Jalen Waddle last year also waswildly inconsistent.
He didn't move me last yeareither.
We get too caught up in, oh,this player runs real fast.
That means he's really good atfootball.
And that is not always the case.
Not always the case.
