(00:00):
What is gonna happen with ArchManning?

(00:02):
Is he gonna declare for the NFLdraft after the season?
Is he gonna go back to Texas orcould he possibly even be a
transfer portal candidate?
James, what is going on withArch Manning?
Yo, it's Wild man.
We're experiencing the firstfull season of Arch Manning.
We've already been hearingrumblings about if Arch
Manning's so good, why didn't hestart over a seventh round pick

(00:25):
last year in Quinn ERs?
A lot of fires getting built up,but hey man, I think Arch
Manning will be fine.
I know everyone wants to callhim a Nepo baby, but you know,
Hey.
Cleveland Brown's owner, JimmyHaslum thinks he will skip the
2026 draft.
And you know, for me it's not abad idea.
You know, why not?
I mean, I know everyone's beenbringing this up since we've

(00:47):
seen what the Saints are doing, which they look like they could
be tanking.
You've seen a little bit of whatthe Browns have been doing with
drafting 500 quarterbacks in thefifth round last year.
So these things are odd.
But I will say this, you know,if Ark Manning was to stay
another year, I would love thetopic of who's gonna be number

(01:08):
one in 2026.
You got Garrett Nuss Meyer fromLSU got Cade K Club Nick from
Clemson, who's always been theposter child.
But my true sense is, and I feelbad for saying this'cause this
may end up being an AnthonyRichardson type of case, but I
likes.
I like South Carolina'squarterback, Lenore Sellers as
the top prospect in the 2026draft.

(01:31):
Just because you're getting thebuild and you're getting some of
the features that you see fromlittle hears of Jalen Hertz,
little areas of Lamar Jackson.
In some ways, you just gotta beable to fix obviously those
scenarios.
But I will say this, Spence, ifArch is in, I wouldn't I draft
those four guys that I justmentioned after that I wouldn't

(01:52):
touch any other quarterbacks.
I'm not touching Penn State.
Drew Allen, I'm not touching.
Oh my goodness.
Not touching Arizona State.
Sam Levitt.
I'm not touching Carson Beck.
I'm not touching.
Oh yeah, John Mader from ou.
I'm not doing it.
I'm not even gonna trust Nico.
I'm gonna leave your team.
If you don't pay me, I'm notdoing it.
So like I'm a big hater on DrewAller just because of the tape,

(02:15):
obviously.
The build and the stats showthat he's a good quarterback.
But I'm backing off from DrewAller.
So these four quarterbacks aremy top for the 2026 draft.
But if Arch is to stay in Texasspins, does that make Steve
Sarkisian overrated?
I've said for years, I feel likeSteve Sarkisian is a bit

(02:35):
overrated.
And to answer your question fromearlier about if he's so good,
why wasn't he starting over aseventh round pick?
I, I've never understood, Inever got it.
And I think the reason why isnot Arch Manning's fault.
I think it's Steve Sarkeesian'sfault.
He had so much loyalty to afault with Quinn viewers, that

(02:56):
Texas Longhorns team that wehave seen each through the last
two years.
Each of those teams had plentyenough talent to win the
national championship, and eachseason they were held back for
one reason and one reason alone.
And it was the quarterbackposition and it was Quinn ERs.
Now, a big part of this also forme, why I think Steve

(03:17):
Sarkeesian's a bit overrated.
I have seen this offensecompletely crumble when they get
into first, second, and third ingoal situations where they
ultimately end up stalling outand you're kicking a field goal
or turning the ball over onDowns, but they are incapable at
times of scoring wheneverthey're in the green zone.
Mm-hmm.

(03:37):
I, I don't understand it.
So to, that's why I've alwaysbeen a big, anti Steve Sarkisian
fan.
I never liked the hire for Texaswhen they made it, it never made
sense to me.
And I know he is one of thehighest paid coaches in college
football and has had somesuccess.
Yep.
Um, especially since they'vegone to the SEC, they've
transitioned to the SECA lotbetter than people were
expecting, but nonetheless.
I look at that decision to notonly never put Arch Manning over

(04:03):
Quinn ERs, um, as the starter, but specifically James in that
playoff game against Ohio State, when once again, they were in a
first in goal situation.
Yep.
You could have put Arch Manningin, who is a Josh Allen, like
build and let him just run itstraight up the middle.
Four times, three times, fourtimes.

(04:25):
That would've gotten you atouchdown.
But instead, what do we do?
We're gonna roll out with QuinnERs, Kelvin Banks is gonna blow
assignment and Jack Sawyer'sgonna take it to the house.
Like we know what happened fromthere.
We know what happened.
And that's all on SteveSarkisian and Quinn er.
So that's another reason why Ithink.
We have to acknowledge that atransfer could also be on the

(04:46):
table as well, especially intoday's world with NILI don't
know.
I don't think he's locked andloaded for Texas for his entire
career, especially not afterthis season.
That would be very interesting.
I mean, I've been a little roughon Arch and I'll give some
context to it.
I mean, this almost was similarto when, back in Alabama, when
Bryce Young was sitting behindMack Jones, Bryce Young was the

(05:08):
number one player in the wholeclass of his high school, you
know, and number onequarterback, and he sat behind
Mac Jones, obviously, luckilyMac Jones won the COVID title
against Ohio State.
And then, Bryce Young, played agood two years after that.
But, you know, at times, youknow, I think sometimes you
gotta roll with, yourexperienced quarterback.

(05:31):
So I'll give Quinn a little bitof a pass, just a little bit.
But it is odd that.
Arch.
If you're this good, you're notbetter than the seventh round
pick.
But Spence man, if Arch was totransfer, man, one team you'd
like for him to go, it's alwayseasy Georgia is, a candidate for
a transfer.

(05:51):
You always wanna put'em Now isto get his DUI numbers up for
that to make some sense.
Yeah.
And the speeding numbers.
You gotta be able to drive afast car.
May get a case like JalenCarter.
But why not think about maybeone of the Manning's previous
stops.
Maybe a Tennessee spot wherePeyton played, maybe Ole Miss
where Eli played.
I think those can make sense, but we gotta keep, this is the

(06:12):
thing with Arch.
I wanna see a transfer.
You gotta keep him in the SECIdon't wanna hear him go to the
Big 10.
Or the a CC, he needs to stay inthe SEC.
Yeah, my pick was old Miss, justbecause of the old Miss Heritage
now.
Yes, Eli did go, but Arch'sfather played receiver there at
Old Miss and then had his neckinjury and then basically

(06:34):
retired his career.
Right.
So, I like the Ole Miss Big, buthey man, it's gonna be an
interesting college footballseason, Spence and man, don't we
have a good one coming up withTexas and Ohio State.
Man, that's a big hat.
We're counting down the days tofootball season, baby.
Ooh, it's beautiful.
