Years ago, I heard Pastor Helen Burns preach a message that has never left me—"Permission Granted." It was a simple but powerful reminder that we don’t need to wait for external validation to step into our purpose. As Helen so beautifully said:
"Whatever you feel in your heart to do, God says, 'I've stamped the passport of your life—permission granted. Go and do what you're called to do.'"
But stepping into our calling isn’t always easy. It comes with resistance, with fear, with self-doubt. As Helen shared, "When we step out to do anything brave and bold, there is a resistance and that is the nature of stepping into our calling."
