TRUMP: My Pappy used to say, don't play with God.
Leadership carries a deep responsibility, especially when it comes to justice and righteousness. Those in power must be held accountable to truth and fairness, ensuring they don’t use faith as a tool for manipulation or personal gain.
Here’s how it could be framed with biblical authority:
- Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 – "Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." Leaders must act with integrity, knowing they will ultimately answer to God.
- Proverbs 21:1 – "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases." Power is not absolute—true authority comes from God alone.
- Psalm 2:10-11 – "Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate His rule with trembling." This is a direct warning to leaders: faith should not be taken lightly or wielded carelessly.
Leadership must be rooted in justice, righteousness, and humility.
