I am sharing a personal blog titled "A Fresh Start" in which I share my experience on starting over with a new task, for me its running or walking. A routine that I have developed in my walk, but so often dread STARTING over when I've neglected the task.

Starting over shouldn't be ahassle, or a burden, but an encouragement to be greater and do better.

If you need encouragement to START over, this is a BLOG for you!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Welcome back to my podcast blog Delight, our blog
integrated podcast featuring articles on various subjects and topics, from faith,
to spirituality, to home, family, and everything in between. We
have recorded four episodes so far and I'm so excited
about what's next. I am Lena, freelance blogger and founder

(00:22):
at firestarterignite dot com, a devotional site dedicated to nurturing
the soul and spirit. Today I'm going to be sharing
a personal blog titled a Fresh Start, in which I
share my experience on starting over with a new task.
For me, it's walking or running a routine that I

(00:43):
have developed in my walk, but so often dreads starting over.
Things can come up, life can get busy, and so
we can really put that important thing that we've been
doing to the side. Allow me to encourage you and
to ignite you to start again. Regardless, starting over shouldn't

(01:07):
be a hassle, but an encouragement to do greater or
to be greater and to do better. If you are
in need of encouragement to start over, this blog is
for you. We all have good intentions, setting goals, committing

(01:37):
to healthier habits, promising ourselves will stay consistent, but Somewhere
along the way, life happens and excuses start to creep in.
Not today I'm tired, Not today, I'll start fresh again tomorrow.
Does that soundfamiliar? We justify skipping your workouts, convincing ourselves

(01:58):
that small breaks wouldn't hurt. But here's the truth. Consistency
is the key to lasting success, and when we stop
being consistent, our progress begins to slip away. Committing to
a new habit feels great in the beginning. You're motivated, energized,
and excited to see results. But what happens when that

(02:21):
motivation starts to fade, when excuses start piling up, and
the consistency you work so hard for begins to slip away.
One Corinthians nine twenty seven says, but like a boxer,
I strictly discipline my body to make it a slave,
so that after I have preached the gospel to others,

(02:43):
I myself will not somehow be disqualified. Now this is
Paul speaking on himself about the gospel because he feels
like he needs to discipline his body to continue on

(03:04):
with this journey. But here we can also relate this
to our daily affairs in life. We need to discipline
our body and to make it a slave, so that
after we have encouraged others, after we have inspired others,
that we ourselves will not be the ones that are

(03:26):
standing left behind. As Paul says, I will not somehow
be disqualified. So you're five days behind. Yes, it's a setback,
but it's not defeat. My commitment to my fitness journey
remains strong, and I refuse to let miss days become

(03:48):
missed opportunities. I can be outside running or walking, or
doing the exercises, then I am inside doing the extra
sizes running and walking. Staying consistent isn't about never slipping.

(04:09):
It's about getting back up, realigning my goals, and moving
forward with determination. I know that with renewed focus and discipline,
I'll regain my momentum and be back on track in
no time. Consistency have been the key to my success,
and if I stop being consistent, there goes my efforts.

(04:33):
Every time I push myself further, I see results. It's
proof that showing up matters. But I know that if
I lack consistency slip, my efforts would unravel. That's why,
even when setbacks happen, I choose to get back on
track in a hartbeat. Because growth isn't about being perfect,

(04:55):
it's about refusing to quit. It's about progress. What's one
habit you're committing to this week that will bring more gratitude, kindness,
and positivity into your life. Think about that. Hey, thanks

(05:17):
for being here and your support. I hope that you
enjoyed this article and we'll be back soon to read another.

to the articles right here on my podcast, or you
could read them write on my blog. Whichever way you choose, regardless,

(05:40):
thank you for being here. In the meantime, live life
to the fullest and bye bye for now.
