BUILD with America #1 | Feat.: Mark Andol, Founder of the Made In America Store

Mark Andol would not go down without a fight. On April 3, 2010, he opened the Made in America Store in the vacant showroom of a closed auto dealership, focusing on a mission to save and create American jobs, especially in manufacturing. The store remains the only brick & mortar general merchandise store in the U.S. to sell 100% American Made Products down to the packaging at its flagship location, and seven other locations in Western New York. An e-commerce site was also launched in 2010, a presence on Amazon began in 2012 and, together with the growth of the original store, necessitated the creation of a World Distribution Center based in Elma, NY. The Made in America Store also is a wholesale site accessible to any retailer across the U.S. that wishes to carry 100% American Made Products at competitive prices.

Rita Crompton, known as "America's Inventor Lady," is an industry expert with decades of experience helping innovators develop their ideas into sellable products. Her knowledge and expertise covers all aspects of the invention process - patents and trademarks, engineering and manufacturing, crowdfunding, marketing and selling, and licensing. Ms. Crompton has helped inventors bring to market everything from full size functioning tractors to baby products - there's a reason she's called "America's Inventor Lady".

Michael King, known as “the Cajun Contractor,” has been in the home improvement and home construction industry for nearly three decades, first by working for a home improvement company and then becoming a fully licensed general contractor owning and managing his own home improvement company. For more than a decade, however, his knowledge and expertise as a general contractor have been put to use by hosting the nationally syndicated television and radio program HomeTalkUSA.
