He started as a radio disc jockey in Ohio.  Made his way eventually to Dallas on the television production side and ended up directing Texas Rangers Baseball telecasts for almost four decades.  He is also an author and has penned some very meaningful books about purpose, faith, and commitment.  Dave Burchett talks about his successful TV directing career and what continues to give him purpose.

This year (2025) marks the 47th season of broadcasting Dallas Cowboys football for Brad Sham. He is a broadcasting icon who has covered every sport you can imagine.  He has some stories!  And, he gave me my first job in radio in Dallas and has been a mentor to many aspiring young broadcasters who have gone on to great success in their careers.
