Fully supported and endorsed by The Guild of Business Finance Professionals (bfpguild.org), the podcast's final episode of season 2 reflects on the guests and supporters who have contributed. Hosted by David Grosse and Trevor Pirie, the podcast focuses on all matters that are relevant to the business finance marketplace. David and Trevor have both worked in the business finance space for over 35 years. David is the founder of Number Eight Business Finance and specialises in providing advice and access to all business finance products available today. Trevor is the founder of Alexander Angel and provides independent consultancy to lenders, brokers and software companies. He has also been instrumental in coordinating and founding The Guild of Business Finance Professionals. https://bfpguild.org/ The main cause of the podcast is to help provide a bigger signpost and voice for those professionals that are trained, qualified and are providing an essential support mechanism for SME's that need to gain access to the best-fit finance products available. Following the collapse of the UK high street banks in c.2008, business owners have found it difficult to find the best finance pathways. Despite various efforts with the British Business Bank and HM Treasury to support the signposting needed, all efforts have yet to be actioned or prioritised. The podcast features guests from all areas of the market including lenders, industry experts, finance intermediaries and business owners.
