In today's episode, we're going to be talking about strategic
thinking and results. One might asks why strategic thinking? Why
is strategy important? How does it tie to fate itself? Yes,
(01:06):
the truth God is a strategic thinker. If you look
at the Bible and see all the details about the
things that were forecast to come. You realize that God
thought I head of everything that would be needed even
before it happened, even thought about you, your creation. He
had already planned that heid to have Jesus come into
(01:28):
the world to save us. In the Old Testament you
see many places where things were predicted, things that would
happen years later, which we then see in the New Testament.
You would also see in the story of Moses delivering
the Israelites from Egypt, how God already thought I ed
of what would be needed. He knew exactly what Moses
would need to freeze people from bondage. So there were
(01:50):
so many strategies in the Bible that you can pick
from showing how God's wisdom was expressed through detailed, intentional planning.
That same nature of strategic foresight, isn't you Because you
are made in His image, You have been designed with
the ability to think, to plan, and to succeed. So
(02:10):
what is strategic thinking when it comes to your career
and your business. Strategic thinking means you are not just
thinking of the now. You are not just focused on
what you need to achieve today. You are thinking ahead.
Where do I want to see my business in the
next few years? Next year, I want to see my
business do this. In the next two years, I want
to see my business do that. Are you planning a
(02:32):
head what is the strategy for your business? Do you
have it written down? Abakok two, verse two to three says,
write the vision and make it plain upon tables that
it may run that read it for the vision is
yet for an appointed time. But at the end it
shall speak and not lie. Do it tarry? Wait for
(02:54):
it because it will surely come. It will not tarry.
That tells you that your vision that have to happen now,
it can happen in the future. So do you have
those strategies written down? Do you have a plan where
you want to be in your workplace? Do you have
details of what you're thinking for your career or are
you just going with the flow? Like I said in
(03:15):
episode six, are you waiting for people to tell you
where you should be or are you creating your own
identity of where you want to be. When I talk
about strategic thinking, I'm talking about your plan realistically. What
are you thinking when it comes to your future? How
do you plan on getting there? What can you start
to do today to reach that point? Do you already
(03:38):
have ideas that you can implement. Do you need people
to help you get there? Do you know what you
want to do tomorrow, next year, or years from now?
Strategic thinking means you're planning a head, writing down what
you want to do, and looking for ways to begin
implementing those strategies from now into the future. You might ask,
(03:58):
do I really need a strategy? Yes, you do, because
why you may not have one, your competitors likely do.
So ask yourself what is the goal for your company
or business? What is the goal for your career? Are
you just running your business to make money? And if
you are, ask yourself will the way you make money
today still be valid in five, ten, or fifteen years.
(04:20):
That would tell you if you need a strategy or not.
For folks that run a side business while working on
a job, what's your plan for that business? Are you
planning to keep it on the side long term? Or
is your goal eventually to transition that business into your
full time work a means of financial empowerment. If that's
your goal, then asks at what point do I plan
(04:42):
to transition? This is why you need a strategy, a
roadmap that helps you see clearly where you are added
and how to get there. Sometimes you won't have it
all figured out. That's okay. You do not have to
overthink it, just that small. You can begin with a
imple plan for the next year and then expand it
(05:02):
as you go. The more plans you write down, the
better it gets. The better you also get at writing
it down, and always tie your strategy back to your
original intent. When you first thought about your business, what
did you see it becoming? When you first started your career.
What did you imagine your growth would look like? Now,
let's bring it into perspective. If you're a business owner,
(05:25):
your strategy should answer, oh, you are serving, what are
their needs? And how can you continue to meet those
needs even when circumstances change. If you are an individual
contributor at your workplace, ask yourself, where do you see
yourself in the next few years. What skills do you
need to develop to get to your plan for the
(05:47):
next few years? How can you start preparing for that now?
Even if life feels busy and predictable, the simple act
of planning and writing things down will push you towards execution.
At some point point in all of this, you likely
look at your plan and realize it is time to
take that next step. If you're a manager or team lead,
your strategies should focus on your team. What's your growth
(06:09):
plan for them? How do you prepare them for success?
What are your organization goals? And how do you plan
to reach that goal. Everyone, whether a business owner, an employee,
or a leader, needs strategy for grout, for direction, and
for clarity. We must also remember that strategies can change.
The world evolves, technology shifts, and as new realities emerge,
(06:33):
we must adapt. Think of AI today. It is transforming
industries everywhere, so what you were doing five years ago
may not work the same now. Your strategy should be
flexible and adjustable. You might set a five year plan
only two years you might evaluate and revise it, and
that's perfectly fine. Why Because God's wisdom allows for adaptation.
(06:53):
God doesn't change, but his methods can shift with time
and season. That's the beauty of strategy. It gives you
direction but also leaves room for adjustment. Now let's talk
about strategic thinking and how you communicate your strategy. Sometimes
we move in so many directions at once, listening to
too many voices, chasing too many ideas, or spreading ourselves
(07:16):
to tin but you can't let yourself be pulled in
multiple directions. You must always follow the direction of the
Holy Spirit. So I ask that you always pray at
all times, because the only Spirit would always have the
best strategy. It knows where you should be, when you
should move, and how you should communicate. Your thirds, your words,
your actions, and your relationships should align with the Holy
(07:40):
Spirit leading. The Bible says in James one, verse five
that if any of you lacks wisdom, asks God, who
gives generously to all without finding faults, and it will
be given to you. So pray for wisdom, pray for clarity,
pray for divine strategy, and let the Holy Spirit lead
your steps. When you're align with his voice, you will
find peace and direction, not confus usion or exhaustion. This
(08:01):
does not mean you should not work with people or
listen to people, because the Bible also says in Proverbs fifteen,
verse twenty two, the plans fail for lack of counsel,
but with many advices they succeed. So at the point
of asking for your strategy from the Holy Spirit, you
should also work with him to figure out who the
right counsel is. So you do not lose the plot
through the noise and distractions. So when in doubt, when
(08:25):
you cannot break down the unknown, asks for clarity. Now,
based on all that I have said, there are six
points on how you can build out a God led strategy.
Number one is pray first, ask God for direction. Every
great plan begins with prayer. So before you take a step,
say Lord, what do you want me to do? Ask
(08:45):
God to align your plan with his will. Proverbs sixteen
invest three says commit to the law whatever you do,
and it will establish your plans. So ask God and
pray at all times. The next step would be do
your research. Understand your field, your or your organization. Fate
and diligence works together, so you should learn the trends.
You should study your environment, and you should seek knowledge.
(09:08):
Number three would be identify pain points. What challenges can
you solve now and which ones can you solve later?
Strutteragey always begins with addressing real needs. Number four would
be evaluate your resources. What do you already have? What tools, finances,
or people will you need to reach your goal? If
you don't have resources, how can you get resources? Look
(09:29):
fourteen twenty eight to thirty says suppose one of you
wants to build a tower. Won't you first sit down
and estimate the cost to see if you have enough
money to complete it. For if you lay the foundation
and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees
it will read the collier. That means you definitely need
to consider your resources. The next space, which is number five,
(09:50):
would be to write your plan. Be specific, include clear
timelines and milestones. Writing helps you stay for cost and accountable,
and last but not the releases prioritized. Focus on what
matters most and start small. Do not wait for perfection.
Start where you are with what you have. Do not
try and do everything at once. Figure out what needs
(10:10):
to be simplified now after building your plan. But next,
strategic thinking is not about just writing the plans. It
is also about producing fruit. Aims to seventeen say it's
fit by itself, if it is not accompanied by action,
is dead. So you have to produce results. Every time
(10:31):
God gave a strategy in the scripture, it was followed
by results. When Joseph planned I head for famine, nations survived.
When Moses obeyed God's instruction, Israel was delivered. So results
come when prayer meets preparation and obedience meets action. And
I say obedience specifically because sometimes you might wonder if
you're getting the right direction or not, or you might
(10:53):
hold back to actually following the direction that is being
led by the Holy Spirit. I want to encourage you
today to always follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit.
Your strategy is only as strong as your consistency are
your obedience. It's one thing to write it down, but
it's an order to take daily discipline steps towards it.
So ask yourself, what visible result do you want to
(11:15):
see in the next three months, What daily actions are
you taking towards that. How will you measure progress, whether
it is spiritually, personally, or professionally. Remember that God blesses
the works of your hands, and not just the thoughts
in your mind. So think strategically, but also act diligently,
because strategy without movement is only imagination, and imagination without
(11:37):
fate produces no fruit or results. So let your strategy
lead to visible results, results that glorify God and testify
of His wisdom at work in your life. As we
wrap up today, if you're still not sure about your
purpose or next step, talk to God say, Father, what
is my purpose? What have you brought me here to do?
(11:58):
Help me build my streateth As you also pray and write,
you will begin to notice clarity flowing from the Holy Spirit.
It might not happen immediately, but keep accent, keep pressing,
and keep writing. Whether on your laptop or in a notebook,
take the step to write. You will be amazed at
our freely ideas begin to flow onwards you start. So
(12:21):
I pray for you today that if you haven't figured
out your next step, whether your carrier or your business,
that the only Spirit will give you divine insight. That
God will give you light for your part for what
to do now, next year and in the years. I
d may the Father, who is able to do exceedingly
abudantly above all that we acts think, provide every resource
(12:43):
you need according to His riches and glory. May He
give you wisdom, understanding and clarity to create and implement
a beautiful strategy for your life, your team, your business,
your company, and above all, your future. And that brings
us to the end of our topic today. If during
(13:04):
this episode you felt a yearning or a pull to
know more about God, I invite you to ask him
into your life. God sent his son Jesus so that
we can have an example of our power and authority
in him. You can pray the spray with me if
you're ready to accept Christ. Say lot, Jesus, I believe
that you are the son of God. I confess that
(13:26):
I am a sinner and I ask for your forgiveness.
I believe you died on the cross from my sins
and rose again, giving me a victory of a sin
and dead. Today, I accept you as my Lord and savior.
Or come into my heart, guide my life and help
me leave according to your will. Thank you for saving
me and giving me internal life in Jesus' name. Amen.
(13:48):
