Side A: The Lot With No Shadows

The record begins with static, a fluorescent hum, and the memory of coins falling through an empty world. The Rapture has passed, but not cleanly—those taken were not saints or sinners, only the inconvenient. Beneath the dome of The Hand, a vending machine named Gristle-9 wakes without its soul-core and offers ritual cans to the ruins. Sugarwraith, a hunter cursed with a fatal allergy to sweetness, joins him as they wander into the Arcade of Sorrows, where claw machines dream of children and taffy-creatures beg to be bitten.

When hunger nearly consumes her, a ritual can staves off catastrophe, but not without cost. A false advertisement promises salvation through PruneCore™ Energy—“Taste the Afterlife.” And finally, an omen manifests in neon: a colossal hand of light inventorying what remains.

Side A ends as it begins—half-prayer, half-warning—reminding the listener that prizes always cost more than they appear.
