Side B begins with a handprint of light and the arrival of the Man with the Neon Band, a self-declared referee of fate. He reveals that the Rapture tied three knots—hidden in dead malls where ceilings dream of rain—and warns that if the knots remain bound, The Hand will stop asking and simply take. His prophecy sets the quest in motion: deliver the Capsules of Return to the one who ferments, resist the lure of sweetness, and never answer when the radio prays.

That prophet is Juicemother M-420, a fermenting oracle who bubbles with truth. She baptizes Sugarwraith in “the discipline sweetness fears” and forces Gristle-9 to awaken his claw not as a grabber, but as a listener. Through her, the three knots are named: the empty anchor store, the prize wall with no prizes, and the call button that calls itself.

But omens don’t stay kind. In the back corridors, a radio whispers with the voice of Clawthulhu, offering inventory and hunger in the same breath. Buttons do not silence it. Silence itself becomes the only answer.

The side closes as Gristle-9 hears the first knot beneath the atrium. Not brave—just moving—the hunter and the vending machine turn toward it. The needle fades with a final warning: the claw never gave prizes, only reasons to reach.
