One of the most well-known girls high school basketball coaches in the state of Texas with over 700 wins, 3 state championships, and ten state tournament appearances. In 1995 she was the National Federation of Coaches, “Coach of the Year” and Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, “Coach of the Year” in 1982, 1986, and 1991. Also named U.I.L. “Top 100 Coaches over the Century” in 1998 and inducted into the Texas Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 1999. Hear her amazing story and her philosophy on coaching and on life.
