Speaker 1 (00:00):
No longer day to day be able to get back
down for it feels good. It's been a long process
of dealing with something that significant. But I had time
to sit back and reflect and you know, focus my
energy other way, and I was being a great teammate.

(00:21):
What what when did you feel like this week? What
what can you do? Uh? I mean range of motion,
other little things and psychologically, you know, I had that itch.
I had that itch ever since I got hurt. But
I had that itch to get back there on the

(00:42):
field and uh, just strength and everything. I felt confident
now I could beat myself out there. The injury itself
was freaky. Discussing with me, but like, what did it?
What was colleen week or whatever? It was hurting that

(01:05):
like the first two days, but the week after wasn't.
It wasn't really hurting as much. What does the season
just been like in general? An injuries in this kind
or whatever. Uh, it's been a lot of adversity. Uh,
but you know, Uh, I'm young in my career and uh,
you know something that I gotta battle through and uh,
you know you go through university at some point, so

(01:27):
however you put approach it and you try to weather
the storm and come out and see the light at
the end of the tunnel. Getting im respective for the
goals they have, win more games for your downstract for
for you individually. What are you trying to get at
these five games? Don't miss times. I'm just trying to

(01:47):
go out there and play football. It's no expectations, do
whatever it takes to uh be the best version of
myself and ultimately help my team. Try to win to
football games. Think that it is conceivle game momentum. Tell
me whatever happens Spring four in the next year again,
I mean, I think every season is different, so you

(02:10):
can't really use it as you can use it as momentum,
but every season different, a lot of things happen. So
you really just trying to go out there and finish
this season strong. You know, I'm healthy enough to go
out there and play, and uh who am I to
go out there and not uh tell my teammates I
don't wanna play, cause that's something that's out of my control.
Uh So i'm'a go out there and give 'em my

(02:31):
all and obviously be smart. But at the end of
the day, I'm really focused on these last couple of games,
and you know see where the tables turn GD you scrambled,
I her break that I know this is been kind
of something. Has this interesting change your approach or your

(02:54):
mindset right skilled let's safety playing scramble specifically Orna. Uh,
you take your chances, you know when it's needed, uh,
different quarter, whatever quarter is and stuff like that, and
you know, had a conversation with DQ and them and
it's how do I protect uh myself will also protect

(03:16):
the team. So uh, you know, there's knowing A coach
told me her Meedwards, just know when the journey's over,
so kind of put in that perspective. What else about
it else? General? You said that in the game that

(03:37):
you are you feel that issue a bad right away?
What part of this did you yourself? What do you
learn about yourself? The passion I have for this game
is is what I learned more. You know what something
that's taken away from you, you kind of take it
for granted. So uh at that moment, that's that's kind
of what was wrung with through my mind. And I

(03:59):
really wanted to go out there, and I was more
so miserable. I can't like play because I've been playing
football my whole life. Uh and as a complayer, I
want to be out there. But I was also happy,
you know, for markets. I was happy for the guys
and see how they battled and bounce back each and
every week and how they played. And all I did
was kind of just focus my energy on, like I said,
being a great teammate in my rehab. How that, Uh,

(04:27):
I mean it would be great for the whole band
to be back together. Uh So it'll be fun then, Uh,
I don't. I don't think we have any expectations. I
just want to go out there and execute a high
level with the guys and see what we could do.
You know that there's a second there's not too big
the next year healthy? What would be? Why is this?

(04:52):
I mean, who's to say I'm not gonna go in
next year healthy? Uh? You know, we're taking it one
day at the TARB, one game at a time. So
for me is like I love this game. Man, Before
I was getting paid, I was playing it for free.
So who will minded not go out there and not
have that passion for the game. So for me, I'm
a young guy. I'm still trying to develop, still trying

(05:14):
to learn, and you know, these games are critical cool,
appreciate it.
