Communities of Hope Civic Media produces four podcast series: Hope Pod is a magazine-style podcast about social justice, community connections, and collective action in Rhode Island. Hope Pod looks at the most pressing issues affecting the most vulnerable communities in the Ocean State. Produced by a team of students at RWU, Hope Pod's hosts Macayla McDonald and Bernardo H. Motta are joined by Naja Young, Alana Lemene, Marc Drouin, and many guests and interviewees every episode. Queer on Campus is our news and analysis podcast on issues that affect the lives of LGBTQIA+ communities and individuals from their own perspective. Produced by Brenna Medeiros, hosted by Kali Blackerby and Tatum Lauro, with analyses and commentary by 3rd-year law student Samual Filiaggi. Surrounded investigates the environmental justice issues facing the Washington Park neighborhood in Providence, RI. Surrounded is produced by Abigail Sark, Jack Bransfield, Shania Brown, Alana Lemene, Zehra Atay, Anna Pellegrini, Eric Tech, and Gabriel Gwiazda and directed and narrated by Joshua Geaughan.
