On this week's episode, Erik Hall, a Forensic Scientist from Saint Louis University and a Forensic Director who has testified in over 115 state and federal cases shares his insights in forensics. He joins us to examine the forensic evidence stacked against the alleged suspect, Bryan Kohberger. The suspect is a former criminology student accused of murdering four college students inside their off-campus housing located in Moscow, Idaho. Erik helps us pinpoint if genetic genealogy is just a 'witch hunt' to make a quick arrest or does it have a legitimate place in the forensic field. We also talk about the point of using proper PPE when entering a crime scene, and what the latent shoe print means in Kohberger's case.
